The next morning when Harry woke up, many of the wizards were already awake. They were in a group at the front; the smell of bacon and eggs wafted in the air and people started to stir. Harry got up, then stumbled over to the wizards who were cooking, and grabbed a plate of bacon and eggs. He then made his way back to his hammock, sat down and ate his breakfast.
After breakfast, all of the wizards were awake and Hermione stepped up to the platform 'wizards. This is General Arnold of the British military, regret to inform you we shall not be able to make a truce. After all you attacked us first.' Hermione's face scrunched up as if comprehending the words on the letter and confused whispers broke out.' I am just going to find out what they mean by that', Hermione said apparating out of the ministry. Harry puzzled over how the military could think the wizards had attacked first, after all most of them had known nothing about the muggles being aware of them until recently.
Harry reached out and poked Ron on the arm, 'We should probably help with organising everyone' Ok then what do you think we should do Harry, it is not as if there is much to do.' I suggest we instruct the aurors to keep everyone calm until Hermione gets back, what do you think?' I don't know, sounds like a good idea to me'. Harry' Harry got up and walked up to an auror .' Can you make sure that everyone stays calm and safe?' Sure' Harry got his phone and called Hermione. 'Are you at the military base?' Yes, they were a bit surprised when I appeared out of thin air but they have calmed down now'Can you apperate me and Ron in?' Yes' Harry got Ron and they both saw Hermione flash into existence before them, grab their arms and they were suddenly in the army base.l
I will not be able to publish any more chapters of this story for the next 5 weeks due to exams but will still be working on it.
