New story! Hope you enjoy!
Disclaimer: I do not own Percy Jackson and the Olympians, or any of the characters.
Every year, on the anniversary of the day two of Olympus's strongest heroes clawed their way out of Tartarus, two figures could be seen sitting on the canoe lake pier at night, hand in hand, their feet in the water, one with black hair and one with blond.
Their hands would not separate for the whole night. Sometimes they could be heard whispering to each other, but when the first stars appeared three words could be heard quite clearly. The black haired boy would nudge the blond haired girl. He would wrap his arms around her, and the two would look up at the twinkling sky. Together, without realizing their lips were moving together, they would tell the sky and the stars, "Bob says hello."
Both of them would fall completely silent when the image of the girl huntress appeared in the air, the girl who had sacrificed her life for them.
The other campers would give them their space that night, knowing they needed it. The duo would retreat to the lake right after dinner, and that night, at the campfire, in hushed voices, the counselors would tell the story of the couple who-quite literally-fought to Hell and back for each other. And the younger campers would listen in awe, and the older campers would sit in bittersweet silence, thinking of how far they had all come from then.
The next morning, the campers would go down to the lake and would see the entwined bodies of the duo, silhouetted against the rising sun, so close together it was hard to make out who was who, eyes closed in peaceful sleep.
Thank you for reading! Please review, even something short would be greatly appreciated.
That's it for now, so adios!
