The Awkward First Day

I sighed for what felt like the fifteenth time this morning. I looked down at my scroll with was lined with algebra math problems.

"What's wrong Bluestar?" I looked up in surprise to see the NightWing Clawmate, Shadeheart. I frowned and pointed at my math scroll with a talon.

"Oh, I see. You need help with your math? I can help you." Shadeheart replied, with a bright smile. I smiled and gave her a grateful look.

"Thank you Shade, I really Appreciate the help." I said, and Shadeheart just smiled and ducked her head in embarrassment.

Nightlight's POV

I looked up at the ceiling of the sleeping cave that I shared with Wolf and Delta. Wolf had the same personality as my sitter, while Delta was a mix of both Spark and Auster's personalities.

"Wow! Light, your really fast at doing your homework. Fid you do all of it already?" I looked up to see Wolf standing in the entrance of the sleeping cave.

"Wow! You must be really smart. And your a Princess to, that's cool, so is Delta. Her moth is Queen Bluebell." Wolf replied, smiling cheekily at me with amusement shining in her stormy blue eyes.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that Delta and Wolf have been friends for years, witch still confuses me. Delta and her two sisters, Seashell and Waterfall, have done a lot of traveling and on one of there travels to the IceWing Kingdom, that's where Delta met Wolf. The IceWing dragonet is part of the IceWing aristocracy, yet she doesn't agree with how the system of the circles functioned.

Spark's POV

I was already finished with all of my work for the week so I was sitting out in the Copper Winglet's Common Cave reading one of my scrolls.

"Hay Spark, whatcha doing?" I looked up, expecting to see Glimmer, but then I remembered that we were in different Winglet's. I then zoned back into reality to see the SkyWing and NightWing Clawmate's, Eclipse and Phoenix.

"Nothing much, I'm just reading a scroll that one of my friends gave me." I replied, Glimmer was the one who had given it to me.

"That's cool. Anyways, do you want to head to the library with us?" Eclipse asked, pointing to both herself and to Phenix. I nodded and rolled up my scroll then I put it into my pouch.

Glimmer's POV

I sighed for what felt like the fifteenth time this morning. I looked down at my scroll with was lined with algebra math problems.

"What's wrong Glimmer?" I looked up in surprise to see the IceWing Clawmate, Ermine, I frowned and pointed at my math scroll with a talon.

"Oh, I see. You need help with your math? I can help you." Ermine replied, with a bright smile. I smiled and gave her a grateful look.

"Thank you Ermine, I really Appreciate the help." I said, and Ermine just smiled and ducked her head in embarrassment.

"I'm glad that Ermine is slowly coming out of her shell." Came a new voice from the entrance of the sleeping cave.

We both looked up to see the SeaWing Clawmate, Tempest. She smiled warmly at both me and Flurry.

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that Tempest and Ermine have been friends for years, witch still confuses me.Tempest and her two sisters, Sapphire and Lagoon, have done a lot of traveling and on one of there travels to the IceWing Kingdom, that's where Tempest met Ermine. The IceWing dragonet is part of the IceWing aristocracy, yet she doesn't agree with how the system of the circles functioned.
