Under the dome

Mal gave the two of them time to sleep on the matter. She wanted to make sure that they were absolutely positive about the decision. When Ben and his Mother were still set on going to the Isle at Breakfast, they started to make the plan.

She called Evie to make the clothes. Evie was truly enthusiastic about making them So many ideas swirled around her head. And before Mal knew it Evie was gone, rushing to by fabric and get to work.

The next thing she did was tell Jay and Carlos about their plan. Both were not thrilled about Mal, Ben and Belle going back to the Isle. They knew, that Mal could take care of herself but they could not say this for Ben and Belle. After Mal explained what and why thy were going there the boys understood, that this was important.

The drive to the island was very quiet. Nobody dared to say a word.

As soon as the group arrives on the isle and disembarked the car the driver turned around and fled the isle. The group was now on their own.

Mal was verry tense while the tree made their way to a save house. She rejected any sort of body contact with ben or Belle. Mal had fallen back into her Isle self within seconds. Which was verry much needed as Belle recognized minutes later.

"Aww the itsy-bitsy fairy is back" a tall boy said with mockery in his voice as he rounded the corner stopping right in front of Mal. The boy was tall. Even taller than Ben and with his dark and rugged stile of clothing he made Belle quite uncomfortable. Ben too was not happy about th situation.

Mal was the complete opposite. She was confident, making herself taller and crossing her arms in front of her chest. "What do you what? Stick-boy" Mal asked with a slight growl in her voice and obviously mocking his lanky appearance.

"You know what I want." he took another step forward towards Mal. His face now verry close to hers. "Witch!" he spat the word out.

At that Ben´s protective instincts kicked in and he shouted: "Leave her alone!" He took a step forward and was now centimeters behind his Girlfriend. The shout was echoed through the alley and slowly people started to emerge from the shadows. Most of them around Mal´s age and some younger ones. Nearly all of them hat some form of weapon on them. Theis cloth were old and tattered. Rips and stains covering them.

She had just been there for less than 20 minutes and Belle had seen so many children in absolutely horrid conditions. So many young people who are not responsible for the reason they´re here. All ready to fight. Ans worst of all Mal was standing there like it was the most normal thing to do. Standing there ready to fight for Her and Bens life. And then it happened. All she saw was Mal whispering something to Ben and then the whole alley was filled with colorful smoke. She heard a scream not knowing who it belonged to and fear filled her whole body.

She felt some one grab her hand. She wanted to shake them off but as they left the some she recognized her son. She followed him as he dragged her out of the alley and into the next one.

After they turned a couple of time more into other streets and alleys she spoke up: "Ben what happened? Where is Mal?"

Ben looked straight forward with a determinant look on his face. But Belle knew her son he was extremely worried. The Queen sopped her son.

"I don't really know what Mal saw. But she just told me to get you as fast as possible to the safe house as possible and thar she would be right behind us, she made me promise not to stop." Ben was slowly becoming frantic. Speaking so fast Belle nearly missed what he was saying. He started to pace, shaking his head. Belle knew she needed to stop her son from running back.

"Ben! Look at me" she urged her son. "You trust her don't you?" Pausing for a second to see her boy nod. "I think she knows what she is doing. Let´s head to the safe house I´m sure she will be there soon."

With another nod from Ben the duo went on to the place Mal Pointed them to. They squeezed themselves through a couple of old boars which gained them access to an old building made out of verry old and rusty containers. The inside was rather dark with only holes the rust left letting some light through. The phrase ´sparely furnished` would put it lightly. Some wooden boxes functioning as chairs and a table. On the table there were some candles. In another corner there were some blankets and a verry old mattress.

And so they sat on the stools waiting for the Girl to arrive. With each passing hour Ben became more and more worried about his girlfriend. And all Belle could do was try to calm her Son and hope that Mal was well and on her way.

She´s alive! I´m sooo sorry for keeping you waiting. I had not anticipated that I got assigned 9 projects for school. I had so many Ideas during the time and it really sucked that I haven't had the time to writhe them all down for you guys.

So I´m leaving you on a little cliff hanger and with a promise to be faster and consistent with my updates.
