Date: July 7th
Dear diary,
Today we're the interviews. I'm more worried then ever, tomorrow they go into the arena. I just know Peeta won't kill anyone. I've talked to Haymitch since then but they won't let me talk Peeta. Haymitch said he's coming back to 12 where he will handle sponsorships and he said I could come sit with him. Of course I have school but I'm planing on be there every spare second. Unfortunately my evil mother has decided since Peeta isn't here I'm to do both of our shifts at the bakery. She acts like he's gone on vacation or something and that's why I can't handle watching the games with them. I still cant decide if I want to watch extra or only watch the required amount. On the one hand I want to know what he's doing at all times but on the other hand what if he gets hurt? I don't want to see that. Katniss just went up. I'm sitting in the Everdeens siting room watching the interviews but I zoned out for most of the interviews, Katniss basically went for silly girl twirling in a pretty dress. She was very beautiful but then It was Peetas turn, and guess what Peeta did? HE SAID HE LOVES KATNISS!!! It looks like Katniss thinks it's just for the games and some people probably will too but I know that even if this is apart of a strategy I know that he is in no way lying. He's never directly told me but I know for sure! After the interviews I went over to my best friend Delly's house. We talked about how cool the dresses were, we talked about wether or not Peeta was lying, and we talked about the games and how nervous we were for Peeta. If Peeta was a girl I'm sure we both would've volunteered. In fact I actually attempted too. After the reaping I punched my brother for not volunteering.
Well I have to go to bed now, write again tomorrow,
