This will be a POV of some of the characters in the clone wars. I do not own any of it.
The faint echo of gunfire and artillery sounded through the night as Jack entered the bustling command center at Heathrow airport where the Major european command center was located, since the war began it had been deserted from holiday makers and replaced with soldiers and weapons. For the past 7 months they had been fighting the 'Tinnies' as the soldiers had nicknamed them, they had come from the stars landing in three distinct places around the world, three beachheads in Tokyo, Paris and Los angeles.
Jack had performed missions all around but was currently on the european front. The unmissable power which the enemy possessed overwhelmed the humans, both number and technological the Aliens had the clear advantage. But hadn't taken into account the ingenuity and ability to unite which the Humans possessed, the world governments united to create the United Earth Defence Force, they implemented the draft to create the biggest fighting force ever seen over 1 billion armed personnel, the finest soldiers the world has ever seen.
"Commander Adams, good to see you back from your mission so soon" Now newly appointed Admiral Cambell smiled and shook Jacks hand as he showed him into the massive briefing room, soldiers dotted around a huge automated table of Europe and France, with markers for Planes, Troops and Tank positions spread throughout, along with a magnitude of uniforms from the US to Canadian to some mexican coordinating movements as they sat at radios chattering away sending orders to the front, the roar of a C-17 sounded as it lifted off from the runway. Jack still in his modified flight suit with his body armour still attached, his helmet slung under his arm.
"I see your part of the brass now Admiral good to see you finally made it to the top" he laughed,
"Yes, Yes I'm still your superior so watch it" He smirked,
"Now your next mission has come through, We got the tinnies on the run we have halted their advance for now with the germans 1st armoured division for reinforcements and the USMC 2nd Tank battalion and the 2 paras have assisted our current forces to hold them back while we establish some better supply lines to maybe go on the offensive for the first time in the war"...
1 hour ago somewhere in Earth Orbit…
"Commander we have lost shields and we are taking significant hull damage, we have droid landing crafts in the Hanger!" Captain rex yelled over the deafening alarms and explosions echoing through the ship,
"Rex order a full abandon ship, get me a comm link to Anakin and Obi-wan now!" Ahsoka yelled as she looked out of the bridge window to see the magnificent blue orb of a planet, dotted with landmass and a multitude of environments, but she could only watch as her fighter wings were destroyed and her men died. She turned running to the holotable behind her as Ankin and Obi-wan popped up, both commanding ships to her left as Obi-wan's severely damaged cruiser crumbled as he evacuated on a shuttle to anakins, she watched as the burning hull of Obi-wan's Cruiser began to break apart and explode,
"Ashoka what is your situation!" Obi-wan asked,
"We are severely damaged we can't last we have lost shields and repulsors we are going down I have ordered a full evacuation of the ship" she yelled as sparks flew around her,
"Get out of there now, we are going to pull back and wait for reinforcements. We underestimated their ability" Anakin orders Ahsoka but out of the corner of her eye she saw out the bridge windows, as a Recusant-Class light destroyer began to broadside them. The entire ship shook as the shots impacted with them as explosions ripped down the side of the ship,
"Anakin, Anakin we need help, Anakin?!" She shouted, but the line was cut as her communications were knocked out, another wave of explosions surged up the command bridges as she was thrown across the room smashing into the far wall. Collapsing to the floor she propped herself up as Rex rushed over,
"Commander we need to get out of here now we must get to the pods!" He yelled to her as he put her arm around his neck lifting her up. Rushing down to the few remaining escape pods where Fives was waiting in the door as rex and ahsoka hobbled up,
"Quickly Move it! Move it! Move it!" Fives yelled to the troopers and crew pushing someone into the pod as himself then climbed in sealing the door behind him. The force of the ejection quickly sat them all down as they hurtled past speratist ships towards the unknown Planet, Ahsoka watched as her command ship was blown apart by volleys of laser fire as she watched Anakin's ship tun and disappear as it jumped into hyperspace leaving them as they hurtled towards the atmosphere of the unknown world.
"Masters, we have found out what the separatists have been doing in the unknown regions, It seems that they have discovered another planet" Obi-wan reported to the Jedi council,
"Discovered something on the planet we do not know." Yoda replied,
"We have to go back, Ahsoka is on that planet she survived I know she did" Anakin passionately stated,
"Hmmm. Let your emotions lead you into rash decisions young skywalker do not." Yoda replied "Sorry master but we must do something, from what little our sensors managed to gather it may seem that the Planet is extremely diverse, even intelligent life. And there was significant resources on the planet as well" Anakin replied to the council,
"Skywalker makes a good point if there is intelligent life that has been undiscovered we can't let them fall into sepertist hands" Shak' Ti says,
"Hmmm. You are a landing force to remove the separatist threat and a republic ambassador to show we are no threat we will send. Yes." Yoda adds,
"Thank you Master Yoda we will start preparations immediately" Obi-wan said as they shut off the communications,
"I hope Ahsoka is alright" Ankain said concerningly,
"Anakin don't worry she was trained well i'm sure she will hold out"
Present…
"What's the mission Boss?" Radburn came over the radio as they flew across the english Channel in the trio formation,
"Right boys and girls, Our mission, At 1000 hours NASA detected some unusual radiation emitted from Earth's upper Orbit followed by some debris falling from space into the pacific, from initial review it is of a different design from the current alien tech we are fighting, suggesting another player in this war, They then detected 15 pieces of debris entering the atmosphere at high speed before slowing down by themselves before crashing into the Fontainebleau Forest behind enemy lines 73km from Paris, from initial drone footage the hot shots at Nasa believe they could be some sort of lifeboat we are to infiltrate and report" Jack briefed to his squad,
"Well that sounds fun hopefully not another dead end like the Mozambique mission eh" Daniels added,
"That's us the errand boys" Blackburn sighed,
"Well we are here so I guess we will see and find out" Jack said as they skimmed over trees before reducing their throttles,
"Here let's touch down in that clearing" Jack orders as the three tempest jets circled and transitioned into VTOL mode before setting down in the forest kicking up dirt and leaves.
Their canopies hissing open and a ladder extending from the side the trio hopped out, a equipment panel on the side of the jet slid open revealing an assault rifle and some more equipment and they suited up their flight suits had Nano-tech which allowed it to change colour to suit the environment they operated in.
"Right the first crash sites are about 5 kilcks east from here let's move keep your eyes up those tinnies could be anywhere" Jack said as they regrouped and began to move into the dark forest. They slowly moved through the Jungle weapons drawn. Moving silently they swept the trees checking the map occasionally, as they grew closer to the crash site they began to find pieces of debris and metal.
"We must be getting close according to the maps the first POI is 200m from here" Blackburn reported to her team, they began to jog over to the crash as what they saw next was out of this world, coming through the trees they found a trench and crater, laying at the end of the crater sat a metal tube with 4 engines sat around the corners coloured red and silver with roundels marking the hull.
Black scorch marks dotted the hull of the spacecraft as the trio moved in to investigate the crash, As they approached the door they found 5 destroyed tinnies all dotted around but what caught their eyes was a white armoured clad man, hanging dead out the door a weapon by his side,
"What happened here?" Asked daniels,
"Looks like who ever landed put up one hell of a fight against the tinnies'' said Blackburn as she kicked a tinnie, Jack turned his light on the front of his rifle, sweeping the gloomy haunted tube, He clambered in only to find the remains of the crew that occupied it. There lay 3 more white armoured clad soldiers and a few what looked like officers all with scorch marks on their bodies,
"We are all clear, looks like the crew are all dead fighting till the end" he called out, but after noticing something about the crew, he removed the helmet of one of the dead what he saw shocked him,
"There all the same" he whispered under his breath, Climbing out the pod and meeting up with Blackburn and Daniels,
"What you find" asked daniels,
"Well all the dead were identical looked like they are all twins or clones" Jack told them switching his light off,
"Woah freaky shit!" laughed Blackburn, but as they consolidated their findings a huge explosion sounded through the forest as they turned and saw a plume of smoke rise up from behind the trees, as the sound of the Tinnies weapons filled the air as a firefight erupted,
"Are there any other troops in the area?" asked Blackburn as she looked to her squad,
"Not that I know but let's go double time if its survivors could provide answers' ' shouted Jack as the trio ran in the direction of the gunfire. As they approached through the fight through the darkness and the cover of the forest they could see some blue tinnies and sand tinnies marching on the lifeboat, firing away there must of been around 30 of them, as they lay in the forest they could see blue bolts being exchanged as some now alive men in white were fighting back as only 4 could be seen and desperately needed help,
"They look like they need backup, okay here's the plan…" Jack continued.
