A/N: You know how you take a break from writing to… I dunno… get some new perspective, so you read some other people's fanfictions (which were great, no disses to be had) and they get to you mentally for some of the things that some characters do, so you want to write more just to get your own version out there in some sick way? Yeah. That's about where I am right now.
Anyways, my plan for this chapter is to get the ball rolling, but it's rolling earlier than usual. I'll see if I can't write some good reasonings behind what I do.

(Location: Olympus: Apollo's Palace: Infirmary (I've seen it in a few stories, and it makes sense))
As Apollo, the demigods, and Chiron all appear in Apollo's personal infirmary, with the incapacitated appearing on the beds, Apollo bent down to check on one of his children. He lifted one of their eyelids, peering at his eye. Instead of the normal, lively blue they usually were, they had a just noticeable lack of color.
Apollo, in 100% serious mode (for once) shook his head sadly.
"It's going to take a few hours for them to get used to the lack of a domain in my power. They should wake up just after that occurs."
"Oh thank the gods," Chiron breathes a sigh of relief. He looks at the other campers, who, while concerned for their friends, were obviously starting to get restless, and no doubt they'd want to explore Olympus. Chiron sighs. "Great. Another field trip situation…" he mutters. "Apollo, the other campers are getting restless. I believe I should take them out of here before they somehow exploit their latent energy to make an explosive."
Apollo looks up, not fully comprehending what Chiron said at first, mind still on the state of his children in front of him.
"Wha- oh. Oh, you're right. Yeah sure, Chiron, just be carefu-" Apollo is interrupted by the sounds of excited children clambering to get out of the infirmary. Apollo waves to Chiron, saying that it's fine. He nods and takes the kids out of the room. Apollo continuously checks up on his kids, still worried about the other repercussions this could mean for the world. He avoided the weird kid, he gave Apollo bad vibes, like the kid was the last nail in his godly coffin.
(Location Shift: A lonely house)
A woman could be heard, screaming in pain. Her eyes were a poisonous green, her greying blonde hair standing on end as if she was being electrocuted. She screamed for what felt like hours for her, the images flowing through her mind too much for her to handle.
And suddenly, they stopped. They all dissipated, leaving her with more clarity than she had felt in a long time. She held her head as the images had left her with a bad headache. Her now blue eyes surveying her house, littered with burnt cookies, sandwiches, and juice boxes. She gasped, remembering someone. "L-Luke?"
(Location Shift: Olympus)
Chiron has already given up trying to keep the demigods in a group. Sighing, he yelled to the campers to be back at Apollo's palace in a few hours. The stress of today's events was getting to him. He barely acknowledged someone appearing next to him. "At least one good thing came out of this, Dionysus. The kids are keeping themselves entertained."
Dionysus merely scoffs and rolls his eyes. "I'm glad my father allowed this, I wasn't sure if he would, that old sot."
Thunder shook Olympus. "Oh shut up! You are keeping me at that blasted camp! At least let me have some solace in calling you an old sot."
Chiron sighed.
Not too far away, one camper was sneaking around, obviously not wanting to be seen. He had spotted a certain sky god, slumbering in front of a glass of strong whiskey, weapon unattended. The boy smirked. Hah! Mission accomplished, he thought smugly.
A few hours later, all of the Apollo children woke up, all gasping simultaneously. "Kids! You're awake!" Apollo cheered. A few of them groaned at his loud cheer, the volume hurting their heads. "Wh-where are we?" questioned one of the bedridden kids. "You're in my palace, son. You guys were losing so much energy… I had to bring you here to recover," Apollo replied. There was silence as his kids digested the fact that this was that serious. "What happened?"
Called out another. "I… we lost a domain today," there was another round of simultaneous gasps, followed immediately by all of them shouting questions. Apollo sighed and clapped his hands at godly speeds, creating a small burst of power, which popped like a gunshot, silencing the children immediately. "No, I don't know how, I don't know if it was stolen, it was my prophecy domain, no, Zeus doesn't know yet, and no, you can't keep my scalpel, Yew. Why do you even want it?"
"You need to tell the council as soon as possible, they need to know this," said Chiron, as he canters back into the room, demigods in tow. "Right. Lemme get right on tha-" a low groan interrupts him. He looks to the source of the noise, the bed in the end corner, where no one else was. The room was instantly hushed, with one compound word in most people's minds. Skyfaller.
He sat up slowly, eyes still closed, seemingly trying to remember something. I… I was in front of… i-it… and then I fell- he clutched the sides of his bed, still unaware that anyone was watching him. Have I hit the ground? Is this a dream? Am I dead? The last thought was spoken out loud, as he opened his eyes.
He froze, now aware of the many people staring at him. "Okay, probably not dead. Where am I? Who are all of you?"
His low voice showed only slight signs of worry, a casual tone forced into his voice, though not obvious, was detected by some of the older campers.
"'Better question is, who are you, punk? You fell from the sky, people usually don't survive that, weirdo," Clarisse says.
"Now, now, Clarisse, it's not his fault for surviving, probably. What's your name?"
The kid seemed to be shocked by the… interesting way the girl spoke to him. Internally, he found it hilarious. "Uh- my name? It-it's… uh… Mike." Instantly, Apollo and most of his children cocked their heads to the right at a 45-degree angle. They knew what he said was a lie. All of Apollo's children looked to their father, looking for guidance on what to do. Eyes narrowed, Apollo stated, "Nice to meet you… Mike…"
(Location Shift: New York)
A green-eyed kid hummed along to a song he couldn't get out of his head as he walked home. He was happy since he would see his mother soon. He loved his mother and thought she was the best of the best when it comes to being a mom, which she was.
"Mooooom! I'm home!"
He called as he walked into the door of the apartment. His mother walked into the living room to see a 10-year-old running at her, arms stretched forward. She grinned as she bent down and picked him up in a hug, laughing along with him.
"Hello sweetie, how was your day?"
He flashed a grin of his own at her. "I met a dog in the park! He looked lonely, so I played with him."
"That's great, sweetie," Sally mussed her son's hair affectionately. She then set him down. "Percy, I want you to meet someone."
A man had been standing in the background, watching with amusement. "This is Paul. He's going to be staying with us for a while."
The man, Paul, lowered himself to Percy's level, who peered at the man from behind his mom. "It's nice to meet you, Percy."
Percy buried himself slightly into his mom's side. "Percy, say hi to Paul."
He looked at his mom, slightly pleadingly. She met his eyes, conveying a message with them. Percy conceded defeat quickly, and said "H-hello Paul."
Paul smiled.
(Location Shift: Olympus)
"How did… How did I get here? I remember… falling…" 'Mike' muttered.
"You fell from the sky, uh, Mike. We didn't think you would survive, so we brought you here."
'Mike' didn't seem to know about the mythological world, and Chiron didn't want to rush him into it, but for the gods' sake, they were on Olympus, it was sort of inevitable. "Where's… 'here'?"
'Mike' questioned. Chiron sighed. "What do you know of mythology, Mike?"
A slight crease appeared on 'Mike's' forehead. "Which ones? I don't know much about Christian mythology, but Greek mythology was always interesting to me. Why do you ask?" he said.
A slight smile appeared on Chiron's face, obviously relieved. "It's unimportant for now, but keep it in mind. The most relevant thing is that you are safe." Mike frowned, as if to disagree, but kept his mouth shut.
A/N: Aaaaaand that's a wrap! Quite a bit happened between this chapter and last, in the real world I mean. It's been a whole year. I apologize for the radio silence that has been this story. I have changed how I write, so if there is an obvious difference in the chapter after this one (if that actually happens, of course), that is why. Anyways, have a great day/night!
