The following day, Luz had returned to The Owl House from school and was all depressed while flopping down on the couch.
"Hey, why so depressed, kid?" asked Eda.
"Amity was not at school today, I'm worried she might have hurt her leg further yesterday after falling to try and protect me," said Luz.
"Na, it's probably the bad news I gave her yesterday as she was leaving," said King who was sitting on the floor playing with his stuffed animals.
"What bad news?" asked Lilith as all three of the girls stared at him.
"I just told her that Luz likes boys not girls," said King.
"Why would you tell her that?!" asked Luz who jumped to her feet and glared down at the small little demon. She was so mad that King was shaking with fear and holding one of the stuff animals to his chest.
"I… I just said the truth," said King.
"King I'm Bi!" said Luz.
"You're what?" asked Eda as they all gave Luz a confused expression.
"I'm Bi, as in bisexual, it means that I like both boys and girls, not just one or the other," said Luz.
"Why do you think I have that shirt with pink, purple, and blue stripes on it, that's the colors of the flag that represents the group," she said.
"Labels like that don't exist here, love is love no matter the gender," said Lilith.
"That's actually the nicest difference I've found about The Boiling Isles and the Human World," said Luz who calmed down for a split second before the aggravation took over again.
"Argh, I need to talk with Amity before it's too late!" she said before rushing out the door.
"Looks like I messed up big time," said King.
"Ha, that's not news," said Eda.
