A Gift of Friendship

"I can't believe Tommy's Dead..." Tubbo sobbed into Ranboo's Shoulder. Luckily, his armour prevented his tears from scarring his skin. Ranboo used his hand to circle Tubbo back, comforting the poor boy as he let out his cries. The cries he has held behind his eyes for days. He just couldn't let them go... He cant let him go..

"...Sorry.." Tubbo sniffed as he slowly lifted his head from Ranboo's Shoulder. His eyes were red from lack of sleep and tears.

He knew Tubbo wasn't sleeping. He would busy himself with Micheal as a distraction... To get away from the death of his best friend but Ranboo knew it was more than that.

Tubbo was full of regret and guilt. He blames himself for the fall of L'Manberg. He blames himself for Tommy's Death though, both of them weren't his fault. L'Manberg was being destroyed, either way whether Tubbo was President or not. His need to be a better friend to Tommy after his exile was his downfall. Tommy was a complicated child. His loud mouth and destructive behaviour was the reason for his exile and Tubbo choose the country. He didn't want to exile his best friend but as the president, it was his duty... He regretted it ever since

"It's ok...Tubbo" Ranboo replied with a warm smile. He was here to comfort the boy. As tommy would have wanted. For someone to protect and be here for Tubbo.

--Flashback--

"Here. I have a present for you" Tommy said with excitement. Tubbo smiled with his eyes closed as tommy instructed. Tommy grabbed his hand and lead him... somewhere..

"Tommy, where are we going?" Tubbo asked, bubbling with excitement. Just as much as Tommy.

"Nearly there.." Tommy said.

After a few minutes, Tommy let go of Tubbo's hand.

"We're here!!" Tommy cried out in a sing-song voice.

Tubbo opened his eyes to see an armour stand with a full set of netherite armour, glistening with purple. Beside the stand was a fence with a bee attached to it named 'Tombee'

"Tommy...". Tubbo's eyes lightened up at the sight. "Where did you get this?" He asked, carefully taking off the armour and inspecting it.

"Well... It is actually dream's armour. I figured that you earned it and honestly, you need to protect yourself since... you know.." Tommy drifted off near the end.

Tubbo nearly died in the final disc war. He knew that Tommy was being more weary of his safely since that day.

"And the bee?" Tubbo asked, staring up at the flying bee, buzzing around his head.

"Something to remember me... I dont want you to forget about me. Since my exile, I thought you forgot about me.. I dont want that to happen again..."

Tubbo brought his arms around tommy, engulfing him in a hug. Tommy stiffened for a moment and awkwardly hugged Tubbo back. Tommy wasn't really the huggy type though Tubbo was.

"I will never forget you..."

--End Of Flashback--

Ever since Tommy's Death, Tubbo wore the armour. He didn't take it off once. Tombee found his place in Michael's room. Just like his father, Micheal was fantasized about the bee that buzzed around his head. He would often giggle when tombee landed on his nose. They were both gentle with each other. Like father, like son.

Tubbo smiled at Michael's playfulness with the bee until... He groaned in pain as another migraine took over his head. He made his way down the ladder from Michael's room, making sure to close the trapdoor along the way. He dug through the chests to find some water and migraine pills. He popped two into his mouth before swallowing with a mouthful of water.

"Another headache??" Ranboo asked from behind him. Tubbo nodded in response.

"Puffy said it was from all the stress and trauma..." Tubbo continued quietly.

"This has been happening for weeks now... Are you sure?" Ranboo asked, concerned. With a nod from Tubbo, Ranboo sighed

"I guess Puffy knows better"
