Author's Note: Chapters 2 and 3 were all one chapter, but decided to split them up because it just looked to much as one. Thank you for all the love so far and hope you like the progress. P.S. For future reference all my stories revolve around whatever season has the best hairstyles, cast favs of mine, and relationships that are favs of mine.
TRIGGER WARNING: rape or at least trigger enough for the warning to be added for safety.
Looking in the direction of the voice, was one Derek Morgan. "Before my sister ran away, she played on the varsity soccer team. She was also the captain and broke many school and county records. As well as winning state." Hotch spoke up, "There's more to it than that." JJ looks to him with pleading eyes, but knows that her secret will eventually come out. Taking a deep breath, JJ continues, "After Roz ran away, I wanted to make sure that I could honor her leaving by doing well in school just like she did. I became an A student, teachers pet, and liked by many. I even tried out for the soccer team at 15 and made it. Even though I was only 15 and to be on varsity you had to be 16. Reasons being; one my sister was Roselyn and two I was one point away from breaking her school record in tryouts. Then in my senior year of high school, I made captain just like Roz. I was only 17 when things started going wrong. It was a Saturday evening after studying with a few friends for this big test we had on Monday. I was in a hurry cause my parents gave me a curfew which was 7:30 and it was nearing 7:20. I knew if I took my normal route home, I would be in trouble so I took a short cut. My friends house was easily 30 minutes from my house, but cutting through the soccer field would shave at least 15 or so minutes. And it wasn't like I'd never taken the short cut before to get home, it's just that it was the one of the few nights where it was almost pitch black outside and the field lights were off. I was probably maybe when I was grabbed and pushed to the ground. I tried screaming for help, but he covered my mouth with duck tape." JJ stops talking, reaching for Erin's hand who holds it, gently rubbing her arm and coaxes her, whispering, "You're okay. You can do it." Jennifer nods her head before continuing. "After taping my mouth shut. H...h...he rips off my s-shirt and slaps me, whispers harshly at me to stop fighting and crying. I didn't listen and continued to fight him. Which is when he turns me over onto my stomach and ties my hands behind me." JJ doesn't look up at the others. Erin however does glance at them and sees a multitude of emotions. Penelope looks like she is about to cry with a minute of anger and hopelessness. Derek seems to have sadness in his eyes, but is hidden by rage and hatred. Spencer seems to show a blank expression, but seeing right through it is rage, sadness, and hurt. Rossi and Hotch show both rage and hurt, but also fatherly like despair that a friend and colleague is hurt. Finally, Emily shows a combo of all of the emotions that a person can express. The only difference is that one emotion pushes away all the others and that's love. Once JJ has taken some more deep breathes, continues, "I still didn't quit fighting and started wiggling around like a fucking worm. That was when he started to unbutton my pants. It was right when he was about to r...ra-rape me when I heard someone scream to get off of me and then a bright light was flashed on my face and the guy ran. I was met with a woman who introduced herself as Erin." JJ looks to Erin as does the rest of the team, while Erin continues telling the events, but Rossi spoke before she could. "You never said anything about living in Allegheny." Strauss smirks and replies, "It was only for a few months. I was 38 at the time and staying with my aunt and uncle because I was in between semesters at college in Pennsylvania. I had just finished working at the town bar and was walking by the athletic field when I thought I heard something. Thinking nothing of it at the time I continued towards home. That was when I heard the sound again and decided to go check it out. As I got closer to the noise, I realized that it was someone crying. So I pulled out the flash light that I kept on me in case of having to walk home somewhere in the dark. Turning it on and shining it in the direction of the crying, I was horrified at what I saw. In the middle of the soccer filed was a man attacking a young girl. I called out at the man to get off of her, but he just continued his attack. The only time he stopped was when I was close enough to the girl to flash the light to where he registered it and bolted. Rushing to the girls side, I said that my name was Erin and that I was there to help her. She thanked me and said that her name was Jennifer, but that I could call her JJ." Strauss stops talking and looks to JJ who was shaking and head down, trying not to cry. JJ still not looking at anyone resumes from where Erin stopped. "Erin helped me to my feet and we walked to her house where she cleaned up the cuts that I got from the attack and a new pair of clothes before borrowing her uncles car and driving to my house. By the time we arrived at my house, my parents were furious with me since my curfew was at 7:30 and it was now 8:30. They were just about to ground me for 2 months when Erin stepped in and told them that I was late because I was almost robbed, but Erin had intervened while walking home. Erin saved my ass and we kept in touch even after she returned to Pennsylvania for college. She was able to help me get into University of Pennsylvania and let me stay with her wile helping me find a place to live. By the time I was about done with school she was already in the FBI as an agent and she was dating someone so we didn't have as much contact after that. It wasn't until I was attending a seminar at school my senior year where the guest lecture was an FBI agent who was part of the BAU at the time. He showed us how to profile an unsub and create a profile. The agent was the reason why I wanted to be in the FBI and specifically part of the BAU." "Did you ever meet the agent again?" Spencer commented. This was the first time since starting the entire conversation that JJ actually looked at everyone and gave a big smile. She replied with, "Yeah I did meet him again. I was introduced to him later in life by Hotch." JJ still smiling big, looks to Aaron. "What do you mean, 'when I introduced you'?" JJ laughs and replies, "Well it was more so that I remembered him and him not having remembered me. I was his star pupil during the seminar, the only one who knew all the answers to some of his most difficult questions. He even said to look him up if/when I was an agent." Dave finally catching on to the clue bus, looked at JJ shocked. "It was me." Everyone looked at Rossi and then back at JJ. "Yes, Dave it was you." Before anyone could speak, an FBI agent knocked on the door and came in after hearing Strauss say enter. "Sorry to interrupt, but I have a package for Agent Jareau."
