At this moment a boy with reddish brown hair that seemed to be in his early teens could be seen taking a nap by the side of a tree in the middle of Kuoh Park.
Suddenly... a voice sounded from within the teen boy's head.
Archer Emiya: "Aren't you gonna get up yet?... You're going to end up missing lunch you know."
Hearing his words, the side of the boy's mouth couldn't help but twitch as he replied: "Archer... whose fault do you think it was that I didn't get much sleep last night?"
Archer Emiya then replied: "Well if you had tried a little harder, then you would've been able to get to bed much earlier."
"Ugh..." Groaned the thirteen year old Takeru upon hearing Archer's words.
It's been three years since Takeru's first encounter with a Stray Devil. In these three years very many things have occurred.
When Takeru and Archer first met the two of them had a long discussion regarding their current situation and as to how Takeru suddenly gained the power to create inferior imitations of the Sacred Weapon Carnwennan.
From their talk Takeru began to understood many things. First Archer Emiya explained to him that the meadow his consciousness always enters which he had always mistook as a dream was actually his inner mental world. Then the Counter Guardian told Takeru that his soul seemed to be sealed in some sort of mysterious device that is fused with Takeru, which is the main reason as to why he could appear within Takeru's inner mental world and bestow him his power and knowledge.
Since Archer had saved his life just then Takeru had also decided to tell Archer as much as he knew. He told Archer about how he was given a second life by a primordial being and that the primordial being also claimed that it had given him over a dozen gifts that would allow him to protect himself.
After listening to Takeru's words Archer deduced that the device he was sealed in was probably one of the gifts given to Takeru by the primordial being and that from his current situation it was most likely using his soul as one of it's primary sources of power.
Back in the present, Takeru finally decided to stand up from the side of the tree and stretch his arms for a bit while saying: "Alright... since it's lunch time I'd better go head home now before Mom makes Sumire-nee to come pick me up."
It was at this moment that he suddenly heard Archer sigh from within his head as the Counter Guardian said: "Honestly... you should've been home helping your Mother prepare lunch instead of just sleeping here being lazy."
Hearing Archer's words, Takeru couldn't help but show a forced smile as he thought: "Well maybe if you hadn't kept me up so late with all of that training you made me do then chances are I'd be home right now helping my Mom prepare lunch."
Indeed! By this point Archer had already begun training Takeru in not only combat but also magecraft. In these last three years both Takeru and Archer had become quite close friends. Since Archer now seemed to be stuck inside him, Takeru decided to talk to him frequently whenever he had the chance which is how the two of them eventually became friends. In fact Takeru somewhat felt partially responsible for Archer's current situation. After all the 'gift' that Archer's soul had been sealed in was fused to his body by the primordial being mainly so he could ensure his own safety.
When Takeru told Archer that the current world they were living in had devils, angels, dragons and other mythological beings still existing in modern time, Archer offered to train him so that he could better protect himself from the dangerous supernatural beings existing in this world.
After three years of constantly being trained by Archer, Takeru now possessed a certain level of skill when wielding edged weapons and bows in combat.
As for magecraft... assuming he doesn't use the Sacred Gear that Archer was sealed in... then at most he could do was Reinforcement Magecraft and a bit of Alteration Magecraft. In fact Takeru felt somewhat embarrassed that this was all he could achieve in three years especially since he already knew that his Mother was once a magician. Unbeknownst to him though, Archer was actually quite satisfied with his progress.

Arriving outside his house Takeru couldn't help but turn towards the house that was three houses away from his house... The former house of the Shidou family.
Indeed! By this point Irina's family had already left Kuoh town and went to England. It happened a few weeks after Takeru's first encounter with a Stray Devil. At that time Irina suddenly barged into their house with eyes full of tears. She then went straight to Takeru's room, hugged the boy and kept saying how much she didn't want to leave while crying on Takeru's shoulder.
At that time although Takeru had already known that Irina's family would eventually leave for England, he still couldn't help but feel quite sad about the fact that the first friend he had made in this world was about to leave.
On the day that Irina and her family had to leave for England, Takeru and the entire Kiseki family had decided to accompany them.
Takeru could still remember it... his sorrowful and tearful goodbye with Irina. Thankfully the two of them were still able to keep in touch by writing letters to each other.
Takeru sighed as he stared at the former Shidou family's house.
"I wonder what Irina-chan is doing right now?" Muttered Takeru.

At this moment men wearing white priest robes approached Touji Shidou with big smiles on their faces.
One of them then said: "Congratulations Touji. I heard your daughter is now a Holy Sword Wielder."
Another one then said: "Yes I even heard she was bestowed one of the Excalibur Fragments. God has truly blessed your family for giving you such a daughter."
Touji simply smiled at their words as he replied: "Yes I am truly quite proud of her."
At this moment a beautiful girl in her early teens with chestnut hair tied into twintails could be seen standing on a balcony. In one of her hands was a Katana with a round gold guard and a long grip.
The fourteen year old Irina Shidou then raised her head towards the sky and muttered: "I wonder what Takeru is doing right now?"
Three years ago Irina was already well aware of the existence of the supernatural. Which is why when she saw Takeru unconscious on her father's back that one time and found out he might've had an encounter with a Stray Devil, she couldn't help but feel a sense of fear and panic.
It was due to this that when her father asked her if she wanted to become an exorcist after they moved to England, she didn't hesitate to say yes.
Gripping Excalibur Mimic tighter in her hand, Irina showed a cheerful smile and said: "With this Excalibur Fragment I now have the power to protect my loved ones... Amen!"

After Takeru entered his house he immediately said: "Mom, Sumire-nee I'm home!"
Hearing her son's voice, Hana immediately walked out of the kitchen and welcomed her son with a smile: "Welcome home Takeru."
"Yeah I'm home Mom." Replied Takeru
Before Takeru could say anything more to his Mother, a beautiful teenage girl with red hair and light red eyes suddenly stretched her head out from the kitchen door and said: "Takeru you're here. Could you come help me out with the plates."
This beautiful teenage girl is undoubtedly the fifteen year old Sumire Kiseki.
"Coming Sumire-nee." Said Takeru as he removed his shoes and rushed to the kitchen.

As Takeru, Sumire and Hana sat around the dining table preparing for their meal, Takeru couldn't help but turn towards one of the empty seats. That empty seat was where his other elder sister Kasumi Kiseki usually sat in.
Seeing Takeru staring at the chair where her twin sister used to usually be in, Sumire immediately said in a gentle tone: "Don't worry Takeru. Kasumi will be coming to visit us in about a few week's time. During her stay with us at that time we'll be able to have a complete meal as a family again."
Takeru: "I know... but I still can't help but miss Kasumi-nee."
Hearing her children talk about her eldest daughter, Hana couldn't help but sigh. After a moment she then said: "Alright you two... let's do a short prayer before our meal."
Several months after Irina's family left for England, something quite unexpected occurred. Their Kiseki family had unexpectedly received a visit from one of the top 5 female exorcists of the church... Griselda Quarta!
Since he was only ten years old at the time, Takeru was naturally not allowed to listen in on the discussion his parents were going to have with the female exorcist.
However... sensing Takeru's worry and eagerness to listen in on what his parents were gonna discuss with the female exorcist, Archer had once again offered his help. By once again using the power of the Sacred Gear that Archer was sealed in, coupled with a bit of knowledge transferred to him by Archer himself, Takeru was able to create an inferior imitation of Hades' Cap of Invisibility.
By wearing this cap, Takeru was able to temporarily make his body invisible while also making it undetectable by magecraft or optical means. By using this inferior imitation of Hades' Cap of Invisibility, Takeru was able to listen in on what his parents discussed with Griselda for a short time.
From what Takeru understood of their conversation at that time, Griselda was basically asking his parents if they were interested in sending one of us, their children to the church to receive training to become an exorcist anytime soon. However Takeru's parents seemed quite determined to make sure that none of their children were to get involved with the supernatural.
After that Griselda sighed and told them that if the higher-ups of the church were to find out that even just one of their children possessed the potential to become an exorcist, then the church wouldn't let them go because of the 'agreement'.
After Griselda said that, Takeru noticed that his parents expressions changed. His Mother showed an expression filled with sorrow, while as his father seemed to show an expression that looked like it was a mixture of anger and self-blame.
By that point Takeru had already been pretty sure that his parents had some sort of involvement with the church. And from his parents expressions it didn't seem to be a pleasant involvement either.
After that Griselda stated that the best choice right now would be to entrust their children with the potential to become an exorcist to her instead of waiting for the church's higher-ups to make their move.
After that Takeru's father Kenshi punched the table and said that he will only agree under several conditions. By that point Takeru's imitation of Hades' Cap of Invisibility had reached it's limit and was about to disappear. As such Takeru could no longer continue listening in on their conversation at that point.
After Griselda and Takeru's parents finished their discussion that night, Takeru's parents asked Takeru and his two sisters to come meet Griselda. At that time Takeru's parents introduced Griselda as their dear friend that they wholeheartedly trusted.
A few hours after meeting Griselda, Takeru's father Kenshi took both Kasumi and Griselda out for a drive. At that time Takeru became quite worried. Since his imitation of Hades' Cap of Invisibility had reached it's limit too soon, he wasn't able to listen in on as to what kind of agreement his parents finally reached with Griselda.
When they came back, Takeru saw that his sister Kasumi seemed to have an expression filled with determination and resolve.
When Takeru asked her where they went, Kasumi simply avoided the topic while showing a cheerful smile. Seeing that his sister was unwilling to speak about what happened at that time, Takeru decided to no longer ask.
A few weeks after that Takeru's parents told Takeru and Sumire that Kasumi would have to leave for a few years and stay at a special Catholic School for elite children that she had been chosen to attend. At that time Sumire was extremely devastated in knowing that she would be separated from her twin. As for Takeru he once again went to try to talk to Kasumi and ask what was going on.
After talking to his sister and realizing that her leaving was something she chose herself, Takeru couldn't do anything else except sigh and wish her luck on her choice.
On the day that Kasumi was to leave, their entire Kiseki family accompanied her and Griselda to the airport. With tearful goodbyes the Kiseki family watched Kasumi board the plane along with Griselda. As for Takeru since he had listened in on a bit of the conversation between his parents and Griselda that night, he knew that Kasumi might not have left to to attend a school but instead to be trained as an exorcist. Ever since then Kasumi had only ever been able to come home to them once or twice a month.

After finishing his meal, Takeru stood up from his chair, picked up his plates and said: "Mom, Sumire-nee I'm done. I'll go put these in the dish washer then go do my homework."
Hana: "Alright."
...
At this moment Takeru could be seen doing his homework in his room.
Suddenly...
"Ugh!" Takeru began to feel excruciating pain from his head as a voice that was completely different from Archer's suddenly sounded from it.
?: "Dragon... Dragon... I SMELL A DRAGON HAHAHA!"
"W-Who is..." Muttered Takeru as he completely lost consciousness on his desk.
When Takeru opened his eyes, he once again found himself in his inner mental world. However this time around there seemed to be a bit of a difference of as to how his inner mental world normally looked.
Normally the skies of his inner mental world was blue, but this time it seemed to be filled with ominous dark clouds with the sound of rumbling thunder coming from them.
Takeru then spotted Archer in the distance and walked over to him. Before he could even say anything to the Counter Guardian, he was suddenly interrupted by a voice coming from the dark clouds.
?: "Dragons!... Dragons!... THERE ARE ACTUALLY DRAGONS HERE HAHAHA!"
Archer stared at the ominous clouds with a serious expression and said: "Is that..."
Takeru: "Yeah... this is most likely a sign of another Sacred Gear awakening within me."
Archer then said: "This should be the third one then."
"Yeah..." Said Takeru as he turned his head towards his side and stared at the Grey and Orange small houses in the distance.
Indeed! A year ago when Takeru was only twelve years old he unexpected managed to awaken his second Sacred Gear by accident during one of his training sessions with Archer.
After a few moments the ominous dark clouds started to dissipate and the voice that sounded from the clouds was no longer heard.
Seeing the dark clouds within his inner mental world disappear, Takeru couldn't help but say: "It disappeared?"
Archer then thought of something and said: "As a soul sealed inside a 'Sacred Gear' myself I think perhaps that soul hasn't yet fully awakened and instead seemed to have only been stimulated by something."
Hearing Archer's words, Takeru couldn't help but furrow his brow as he muttered: "It mentioned... dragons?"
Archer then said: "Well whatever it was, it's gone now."
Archer then turned to Takeru and continued his words: "You should probably go back and finish your homework."
"Ah crap my homework!" Shouted Takeru as he quickly left his inner mental world.
...
After Takeru finished his homework, he turned towards the clock that was by the side of his bed and muttered: "Looks like it's time for my daily afternoon 'exercise'."
He then went out of his room and went to the living room where he saw his Mother and Sumire sitting on the sofa.
"Mom, Sumire-nee I'll be going on my afternoon jog now." Said Takeru as he opened their house's front door.
Hana: "Alright but be sure to be careful on your jog. And make sure to take short rests when you start feeling tired."
Sumire: "Takeru remember to come back before Dad gets home alright?"
"I will!" Answered Takeru as he left the house.
After leaving their house, Takeru immediately rushed towards a nearby small alley and activated his Fate Phantasm Gear.
Archer Emiya had mentioned that the device his soul had been sealed in seemed to be called Fate Phantasm Gear.
Shiiing!
Activating his Fate Phantasm Gear, Takeru's appearance once again changed with his hair turning white while his skin becoming tanned.
Opening his now Grey colored eyes, Takeru muttered: "Trace on!"
Shiiing!
With a flash of blue light, an imitation of Hades' Cap of Invisibility immediately appeared in Takeru's hand. Placing the cap on his head, Takeru's entire body immediately turned invisible. He then cast Reinforcement Magecraft on his legs then rushed towards a certain direction as fast as he could.
After about fifteen minutes, Takeru arrived in front of what looked like a large steel gate. By the side of the gate, a sign that has the words "Kuoh Woods" written on it could be seen.
Behind this gate was a small woodland area that had been decided to be preserved and left untouched. As to why that was, Takeru did not know.
After about a minute or so, the gate opened and a man wearing a security guard uniform walked out from it.
The Security Guard then placed his hand on his tummy and muttered: "Man I'm hungry... good thing it's time to change shifts."
It was at that moment that Takeru immediately rushed into the gate without the guard realizing anything. Takeru was able to do this mainly due to the fact that he was invisible thanks to his imitation of Hades' Cap of Invisibility.
The Security Guard then closed the gate completely oblivious to the fact that someone had just entered inside.

Arriving at the center of the small woodland, Takeru immediately sat on a large rock and said: "Alright what are you gonna teach me today Archer?"
Indeed! This small woodland called Kuoh Woods was the place where Takeru usually trained. Normally people were not allowed to enter Kuoh Woods unless they were first accompanied by a guard who knew area... However since Takeru needed a quiet place to train the things that Archer thought him and since he didn't really know where else he could do that, he simply decided to secretly trespass in Kuoh Woods and train there.
What's more since he could create imitations of Hades' Cap of Invisibility, even if a guard passes by none of them would be able to see him.
Archer then replied: "Before that you should put up the Bounded Field first."
Hearing Archer's words Takeru couldn't help but show an embarrassed smile and say: "Oh yeah I forgot."
After a few minutes Takeru had successfully put up his Bounded Field. This Bounded Field did not have any offensive nor defensive functions, instead it's main use was simply to block out sound from within itself. Meaning no matter what Takeru does inside this Bounded Field, it cannot be heard by anyone who are outside it.
For now Takeru can only form this Bounded Field when he has his Fate Phantasm Gear active, and cannot form it using his own magecraft yet.
After Takeru put up the Bounded Field, Archer then said: "Alright how about we train your Alteration a bit today. For now pick up all the stones around you and try changing as many of them as you can into stone daggers."
After hearing Archer's words, Takeru immediately deactivated his Fate Phantasm Gear, returning to his normal form and replied: "Got it!"
Takeru then began picking up all of the stones within the area.
...
"Haaah... I'm tired." An hour and a half later, Takeru could be seen lying on the ground looking completely exhausted. By his side one could see about fifty stone daggers. Some of the daggers looked quite sharp, others looked somewhat curved and finally some looked like they have broken edges.
Archer then said: "Your Alteration still needs quite a bit of work."
Takeru: "Yeah yeah I know... Just... let me rest for a minute or two."
However it was at that moment...
Kacha!...
"Huh?" Takeru immediately heard footsteps that were heading towards his location. Believing it was a guard, Takeru immediately activated his Fate Phantasm Gear and made an imitation of Hades' Cap of Invisibility so he could immediately hide himself.
Archer then spoke: "I don't think It's a Guard."
As if responding to Archer's words, the appearance of the one approaching them was immediately revealed.
Walking out from between the trees was a large humanoid snake like being that was about the size of a small tree. Making it somewhat slightly larger than a regular human adult. It had yellowish brown snake skin covering it's entire body. It's head and lower body were that of a snake's while as it's torso seemed to be similar to that of a human's. One thing to note was that it had a pair of long muscular arms.
"What is this monster?... Could it be a Youkai?" Thought Takeru as he saw the humanoid snake like being. He was now currently invisible thanks to his imitation of Hades' Cap of Invisibility.
His eyes then turned sharp as he continued his thoughts: "...But more importantly... what's it doing here in Kuoh Woods?"
The large humanoid snake like being looked around the area then muttered: "Nothing?... I could've sworn I smelled the scent of a human here."
The humanoid snake like being then stuck his tongue out, hissed then sneered as he once again muttered: "No... there's definitely a human here. I can smell them."
Takeru: "..."
Indeed! Several of the things that Hades' Cap of Invisibility could not obscure was sound, smell, body temperature or the wearer's tracks.
Since this humanoid snake like being seemed to have tracked Takeru through his smell, it was no surprise it could find his location.
"Come out come out wherever you are little human." Said the humanoid snake like being as long sharp dangerous looking claws extended from it's fingers.
Archer then said: "I can sense quite a bit of killing intent from this giant snake. So we can assume that it's here to kill."
"Yeah I pretty much realized that from it's expression while it was extending it's claws Archer." Thought Takeru. For now Takeru had decided not to speak. After all since his Cap of Invisibility could not obscure sound, there was a pretty high chance this snake like being would immediately be able to hear him once he spoke.
Archer then said: "Calm down... Wait for when you're no longer in it's line of sight then use Projection to create 'that' black key to immobilize it. We can ask it what it's doing here then."
Hearing Archer's words, Takeru immediately calmed himself down as he patiently watched the snake like being, waiting for the moment when it turns it's head and faces a direction where it would no longer be able to see him.
Archer then said: "Thankfully even though it seems to be able to track you by smell, it doesn't seem to be able to pinpoint your exact location."
After a few moments...
"Come out little human I only want to invite you for a meal that's all." Said the large snake like being with a sneer as it finally turned it's head away from Takeru's direction.
Seeing this Takeru immediately made his move.
"Now!" Thought Takeru as he quickly deactivated his Cap of Invisibility's ability. With a flash of blue light a sword with a red hilt then appeared in his hand. This sword was a weapon called a Black Key used in the Fate Series worlds.
Takeru then threw the Black Key in his hand towards the snake like being's shadow as fast as he could.
Kacha!
"Guh?! W-What?! I can't move?!" Said the snake like being as the Black Key was now impaled in the ground on where his shadow was.
Takeru then slowly walked towards the snake like being's line of sight then asked: "Who are you and what do you want?"
Seeing Takeru the snake like being showed an expression of disappointment as it muttered: "What? So it was just a brat?... And here I thought my children would be able to enjoy a big meal."
"So you wanted to feed me to your children?"Asked Takeru as he used Projection to create another sword in his hand.
"Oh? So you know magic? No wonder I couldn't find you. Well I suppose a magician brat would suffice as my children's appetizer." Said the snake like being as it sneered towards Takeru.
"I think you're forgetting that you're currently immobilized here." Said Takeru as he brandished the sword in his hand. The sword in Takeru's hand was one that had an ability that doubled it's sharpness when used against reptiles.
"Am I?" Said the humanoid snake like being as it's sneer became wider.
BOOM!
An extremely powerful green colored aura was then unleashed from the humanoid snake like being's body.
"Guh!" Sounded Takeru as he was sent flying by the snake like being's powerful aura.
"Takeru!" Shouted Archer in worry.
Takeru then stabbed the sword in his hand to the ground and held on to it as tight as he could. By doing this he was no longer pushed back by the snake like being's aura.
It was at this moment...
Kacha!... Shatter!
The Black Key impaled in the ground on where the snake like being's shadow was, broke and shattered.
Seeing this Takeru thought: "He managed to break the Black Key... using just the force of his aura?"
Whoosh!
Before Takeru could even think of what to do next, the snake like being turned into a blur and appeared in front of him almost instantly.
Seeing this Takeru reacted as quickly as he could.
"Trace On!" Muttered Takeru as he immediately used Reinforcement on his hand and the sword he was wielding. It was then that a dozen swords appeared above Takeru which then rushed towards the snake like being's head.
Seeing the swords rushing towards his head, the snake like being simply muttered: "Interesting."
The snake like being then clad his hand and claws with his green colored aura then swung his claws towards Takeru's swords.
Clang!
The humanoid snake like being had easily swatted away Takeru's projected swords. However the very moment he swatted away the swords, Takeru had already begun to move.
Takeru thrusted his sword towards the snake like being's left eye. Clearly intending to blind the beast. However...
Clang!
The snake like being had blocked Takeru's sword with the claws from it's other hand.
"Oh no!" Muttered Takeru
The snake like being then quickly turned to Takeru and said: "Too slow kid."
Seeing that his sword was blocked, Takeru immediate retreated as fast as he could.
Seeing Takeru was about to retreat, the snake like being once again showed a sneer as it said: "It's futile kid."
He then rushed towards Takeru at the same moment that the boy tried to retreat.
Archer then said: "He read the timing of your retreat. This giant snake definitely has quite a bit of combat experience."
"Damn!" Said Takeru as he quickly used Reinforcement on his legs and jumped to his side in an attempt to get away from his foe.
"Useless!" Said the snake like being as it once managed to easily caught up with Takeru.
"Get away!" Shouted Takeru as he unleashed a kick towards the snake like being's head with his Reinforced leg and foot.
Seeing Takeru attempting to kick him, the snake like being's sneer grew wider as it said: "Stupid move kid."
The snake like being then caught Takeru's leg then threw the boy towards the nearby large rock.
BANG!
"AGH!" Sounded Takeru as he crashed on the large rock.
Archer: "Damn! Takeru get up quick! This giant snake can attack you at any moment!"
"Guh!" Sounded Takeru as he somewhat struggled to get up. Thankfully he had used Reinforcement on his torso before it had collided with the large rock.
The snake like being then stared at Takeru and said: "Is that all you've got kid? Hmph! And I heard Magicians were suppose to be tricky to fight... Then again you are just a brat."
Takeru then stared at the snake like being with determined eyes. He was planning to counter attack. But before he could do so Archer suddenly spoke.
Archer: "Calm down... You're up against an enemy that is both physically stronger and faster than you. Not to mention there's the fact that he's quite experienced in combat... You can't just fight him directly, like what you did with those several Stray Devils that you've killed in these past three years."
"Then what do I do? Should I just run? I don't think this thing will give me the opportunity to do that." Said Takeru.
Archer then said: "Observe it's movements... Try to memorize the way it fights... If you can find a weakness, then focus on that."
Takeru: "And if I can't find a weakness."
Archer: "Then you'll have to take a chance."
Takeru: "What sort of chance?"
Archer then said: "...Since you can't defeat it, then try to imagine something that can."
Takeru: "..."
Seeing that Takeru seemed to just be standing still while muttering something, the snake like being said: "Well kid are you gonna come at me or what?"
Hearing his foe's words, Takeru immediately took a deep breath and then calmly exhaled as he stared at the snake like being with sharp focused eyes.
Seeing the look in Takeru's eyes the snake like being couldn't help but grin. This beast felt great satisfaction whenever it manages to crush it's prey while they tried to struggle. Which is why it was allowing Takeru the chance to fight back, for it wanted to make him wallow in despair once it crushes him.
"Trace On." Muttered Takeru as blue light flashed from his hands. Now a pair of black and white swords with the symbol of yin & yang close to their hilts could be seen in the boy's hands. This was Archer EMIYA's favored weapons... Kanshou and Bakuya!
Seeing the black & white swords in Takeru's hand, the snake like being said: "Heh you think a pair of puny swords like those could possibly hurt m..."
But before it could finish it's words, Takeru suddenly threw Bakuya towards the snake like being's face without warning.
Seeing the white sword coming towards him, the snake like being immediately tried to block it with it's claws.
Clang!
After successfully blocking Bakuya, the snake like being immediately noticed that Takeru was actually already less than one meter in front of him.
Indeed! After throwing Bakuya, Takeru had actually already began rushing towards the snake like being.
After catching Bakuya in his right hand, Takeru immediately swung Kanshou towards the snake like being's neck.
KANG!
The snake like being actually managed to lower it's head in time to catch Kanshou in it's teeth before the black Yang Sword had managed to reach it's neck.
Seeing this Takeru simply smirked as he immediately let go of Kanshou and kicked the snake like being's chest to propel himself backwards. He then snapped his left fingers to detonate Kanshou which was still in the snake like being's mouth.
Shiiing!
Seeing the black sword suddenly shine with blue light, the snake like being's pupils immediately shrank. But before he could even spit out the sword.
Boom!
The black sword had exploded while still in the snake like being's mouth. While waiting for the smoke to clear and see what the snake like being's situation was, Takeru used projection to create another Kanshou in his left hand and got into a stance with his two swords. He was sure this explosion wasn't enough to take out the snake like being.
Boom! Whoosh!
The snake like being used it's green colored aura and blew away the smoke surrounding it's body. It then stared at Takeru with eyes filled with rage. Burn marks could now be seen around it's lips.
The snake like being: "Alright brat play time's over!"
It then charged towards Takeru and thrusted it's green aura clad claws towards the boy. Knowing that he couldn't outspeed his foe, Takeru decided that he would instead try to block his enemy's attack with Kanshou and Bakuya while at the same time using reinforcement on his arms and hands.
Bang!
Takeru had successfully blocked the snake like being's attack. Although he was still sent flying by the force of his enemy's strike. Seeing that the boy managed to block it's attack, the snake like being decided to use a different approach.
It then rushed towards Takeru once again, but this time instead of using it's claws to attack it instead swung it's large tail towards the boy.
Seeing the large tail coming towards him, Takeru's expression immediately changed.
"Crap!" Said Takeru as he used reinforcement on Kanshou and Bakuya in the hopes of further increasing the two swords sharpness to a level that could cut the large snake tail.
Seeing Takeru's swords now covered in glowing blue lines, the snake like being immediately covered his tail with his green colored aura.
Clang!
The reinforced Kanshou and Bakuya were only able to land a pair of shallow cuts on the snake like being's green aura clad tail.
"Hiss!" The snake like being hissed in pain due to the cuts made by Takeru's pair of swords on it's tail.
Seeing that Kanshou and Bakuya could only deal shallow cuts to his enemy's tail, Takeru immediately decided to get away from the green aura clad snake tail as fast as he could. However it proved futile, for the snake like being's tail was just too fast.
"Guh!" Sounded Takeru as the snake like being's tail had wrapped around his entire body.
Seeing that it's prey had now been bound by it's tail, the snake like being sneered and said: "Now then just behave so that I can kill you and my children may feast on you flesh."
Takeru who was now bound by the snake like being's tail simply stared at his foe and said in a calm tone: "I'm curious... You're releasing a pretty strong aura there. Aren't you afraid that you might end up attracting unwanted attention?... Or could it be that you don't know that Kuoh Town is actually run by the devils?"
The humanoid snake like being simply sneered at Takeru's words and said: "Heh there's no use in trying to scare me with that brat. Since you're about to be my children's meal anyway I might as well tell you... At every edge of this small woodland called Kuoh Woods my many children have all set up special formations. When these formations are used simultaneously at certain parts of an area, it makes it so that most supernatural beings would not be able to sense any supernatural energy fluctuations within that area... This makes it so that I can go all out and release my power without those shitty Devils ever noticing."
Hearing this Takeru simply smiled and said: "I see... Well thank you for letting me know."
Within Takeru's inner mental world, Archer watched as the small orange house that was beside his small grey house started light up.
Archer: "Looks like he's finally decided to use it... hopefully this'll be enough to kill this large snake."
"Huh?" At this moment the snake like being's expression began to change. He could feel it. Strong intense heat coming from his tail that was wrapped around Takeru's body.
As Takeru calmly stared at the humanoid snake like being, his eyes began to change once again. His eyes had now turned orange colored. Besides this... a small orange flame could now be seen on Takeru's forehead.
"Gah! Brat what did you do?" Shouted the snake like being as he felt the heat from his tail become more and more intense.
However Takeru did not reply to his words. Instead the boy simply looked at him with a slight smirk.
Seeing his prey calmly smirk at him, simply enraged the snake like being even more.
"Tch! Brat Die!" Shouted the snake like being as it thrusted it's claws clad with green aura towards Takeru's head.
However...
Clang!
The snake like being's green aura clad claws were actually blocked by a round shield clad in what looked like thin green flames that were surrounded by green electric sparks.
This shield was naturally created by Takeru using his projection magecraft. As for the green flame covered in green electric sparks,... it was something added by Takeru's second Sacred Gear.
Before the snake like being could even recover from the shock of an ordinary looking shield being able to block his claws, Takeru immediately used projection to create over a dozen swords that descended down towards the snake like being's head. However this time around these swords now were clad in what looked like red colored flames.
Seeing over a dozen swords suddenly descending down towards his head, the snake like being immediately used it's claws to block them. However...
Clang! Clang! Clang! Puchi! Puchi! Clang! Clang! Puchi!
Several of the swords had actually managed to get passed his claws and cut parts of his skin.
Seeing this the snake like being couldn't help but think: "Impossible! To think these swords were actually able to cut parts of my hard skin so easily?!... No... It's those red flames cladding the swords! Their breaking apart my skin just enough for the blades of those swords to easily cut me!"
Indeed! These red flames cladding these swords are actually a special type of flame that possesses a disintegration type effect. And naturally this was another type of flame bestowed to Takeru by his Second Sacred Gear.
With the barrage of swords cutting his skin and the heat from his tail intensifying more and more, the snake like being accidentally loosened his tail's hold over Takeru.
Whoosh!
The moment the snake tail's hold over him loosened, Takeru immediately turned into an orange blue and shot up into the sky.
"Damn he got loose! Wait... Now he's flying?" Said the snake like being as it gazed at Takeru who was now levitating in midair.
Takeru stared down at the snake like being with his calm orange eyes as the orange flame on his forehead grew more and more to the point that it now looked like the flame of a newly lit torch. In his hands were Kanshou and Bakuya that were now clad in similar orange flames like the one on his forehead. It was obvious that his ability to fly came from the orange flames cladding his two swords.
Right now Takeru had entered a special state. A state known as... Hyper Dying Will Mode. Takeru's second Sacred Gear is named as Flames of Sky and Earth. It is a Sacred Gear that not only allows him to enter Hyper Dying Will Mode, but also bestows him the ability to use the Dying Will Flames of the Katekyo Hitman Reborn world.
The green flames he had clad his projected shield with previously is called the Lightning Flames. It possesses a special hardening effect that further solidified and increased the hardness of Takeru's projected shield. As for the red flames he had clad his swords with previously, they are known as the Storm Flames that possesses the disintegration effect. It was thanks to these flames that Takeru's projected swords were able to easily cut apart the snake like being's skin.
In his Hyper Dying Will Mode, Takeru's internal limiters had been removed, therefore releasing his hidden awareness. In this state Takeru will always be able to maintain calm even in the most dire of circumstances making it so that he will always be clear headed in assessing his current situation.
As Takeru was planning his next move against the snake like being, Archer suddenly spoke from within his head: "Remember you can only maintain this... Hyper Dying Will Mode was it?... For about five minutes before you return to normal. By that point you would've used up most of your stamina and energy. So you better end this within the next four minutes or so otherwise you're pretty much screwed."
Indeed! By this point Takeru still hasn't yet mastered the use of his Flames of Sky and Earth Sacred Gear so much so that for now he at most can only maintain his Hyper Dying Will Mode for a maximum of five minutes.
Hearing Archer's words Takeru simply replied: "...Got it."
He then flew down at great speed towards the snake like being using the orange flames cladding Kanshou and Bakuya.
"Fast..." Muttered the snake like being as it saw Takeru's speed of descent.
Cladding his claws with even more green colored aura, the snake like being immediately jumped into the air intending to clash with the descending Takeru.
BANG!
Swords and Claws collided!
Both Takeru and the snake like being were pushed back by their clash. The snake like being landed back on the ground while as Takeru stabilized himself in the air using his orange Sky Flames.
Staring down at the snake like being once again, Takeru muttered in calm tone: "He's still quite tough for me to fight even in my Hyper Dying Will Mode."
Archer: "Clearly he wasn't using his full strength previously. How about trying 'that' technique."
Hearing Archer's words, Takeru simply nodded as he once again charged towards the snake like being using the Sky Flames cladding his Kanshou and Bakuya to greatly boost his speed.
"Here he comes..." Muttered the snake like being as it sneered towards Takeru who was once again charging down towards him.
It was at this moment that Takeru suddenly threw two pairs of Kanshou and Bakuya that were clad with Sky Flames towards the snake like being.
Seeing this the snake like being immediately swung it's green aura clad claws and deflected the four swords away. However the moment he did so, Takeru descended down at even greater speed, using a third pair of Kanshou and Bakuya to slash down on the snake like being.
Unfortunately for Takeru, the snake like being reacted quickly and parried his third pair of Kanshou and Bakuya. However what the snake like being did not know was that Takeru expected him to block his attack just then.
It was at that moment that the snake like being sensed something. He turned around and saw the two pairs of Kanshou and Bakuya that Takeru threw earlier heading towards him once again. However this time these four swords were now clad with red Storm Flames instead of orange Sky Flames.
Seeing the snake like being turn towards his back, Takeru immediately took a quick back-step and changed the flames cladding the swords in his hands to red Storm Flames as well. He then once again charged and swung his now storm flame clad swords towards the snake like being.
Seeing Takeru attacking him from the front and the two pairs of swords flying towards him from the back, the snake like being knew what he had to do. He immediately turned around and tried to swat away the two pairs of flying swords like he did before. At the same time he swung his large snake tail towards Takeru to get him to back off.
Seeing what the snake like being was about to do, Takeru simply showed a slight smirk. In truth Takeru's second sacred gear Flames of Sky and Earth had actually bestowed him another ability. An ability that he could only use while in Hyper Dying Will Mode.
As the snake like being tried to swat away the four swords, something bizarre occurred.
"What?!" Thought the snake like being as he suddenly saw the four swords turn in midair and avoid his claws at the very last moment. At the same time Takeru also easily and swiftly avoided the snake like being's large tail.
The ability that Takeru could only use in Hyper Dying Will Mode was none other than... Vongola Hyper Intuition!
Using Vongola Hyper Intuition, Takeru was able to predict how the snake like being would swat away the two pairs of Kanshou and Bakuya flying towards it, and as such was able to control the four swords to avoid his claws at the perfect moment. It was also due to this that Takeru was able to easily avoid the snake like being's large tail.
Whoosh! Puchi!
"AAARG!" Shouted the snake like being as it took six Storm Flame powered slashes to it's body.
This was Takeru's version of of Archer's Triple-Linked Crane Wings technique. One that was enhanced by Dying Will Flames and supported by Vongola Hyper Intuition... Triple-Linked Crane Wings Hyper!
Archer then said: "Do it now! Block out his line of sight and deal the finishing blow!"
Hearing Archer's words, Takeru immediately threw his pair of Kanshou and Bakuya at the snake like being while at the same time controlling his other two pairs of swords to once again rush towards the snake like being.
When the six swords got near enough to the snake like being's face, Takeru immediately snapped his fingers and detonated them.
Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang! Bang!
The six swords exploded right in the snake like being's face.
At that moment Takeru immediately closed his eyes and focused on the image of a specific sword.
"BRAAAAT!" Roared the snake like being as it was now covered in it's own blood.
Takeru then opened his eyes and stared at the snake like being with pure calmness and determination.
"HISSSS!" The snake like being hissed as it charged towards Takeru like a wild beast.
It was at this moment Takeru suddenly raised his hand. Suddenly the fragments of the six swords that exploded previously, rose from the ground and were now clad with purple colored flames.
These purple flames are the Cloud Flames which possesses the propagation effect. Before Takeru had thrown his six swords, he made sure to place a small amount of cloud flames in their hilts. So when these six swords exploded, the small amount of cloud flames placed in their hilts multiplied and clad every single fragment that the six swords exploded into.
These fragments clad with purple flames then rushed towards the snake like being's eyes like an endless barrage.
"Gah!" Sounded the snake like being as it covered it's eyes from the fragments clad in cloud flames.
Seeing his foe was now distracted, Takeru immediately rushed towards the snake like being's blind spot. With a flash of blue light a moderately curved katana with a white hilt suddenly appeared in his hands. This sword is an inferior imitation of the snake slaying sword known as... Ame no Habakiri.
The moment Takeru arrived at the snake like being's blind spot, he immediately swung his katana upwards towards the left side of his enemy's chest.
PUCHI!
"AHHHHHH!" Screamed the snake like being as the left side of it's chest now had a large deep cut.
Shatter!
The inferior imitation of Ame no Habakiri immediately shattered after slashing the snake like being's chest. For a sword as powerful as that, the current Takeru could only create an inferior imitation of it that lasts a few seconds.
Right after the imitation of Ame no Habakiri shattered, Takeru immediately returned to his normal form. By this point Takeru no longer had enough energy or stamina left to keep using either of his Sacred Gears. Creating the imitation of Ame no Habakiri had drained him too much.
When the Dying Will Flame on his forehead vanished, Takeru slowly turned towards the dying snake like being and asked: "Do you mind telling me what you were doing here in Kuoh Woods before you die?"
Hearing Takeru's words, the snake like being began to laugh: "Haha...hahahaha... HAHAHAHAHAHA!"
Seeing that the dying snake like being started laughing hysterically, Takeru immediately became on guard. Must know that right now he was almost completely drained and at most only had a very small amount of stamina left.
It was at this moment that the aura around the snake like being began to change as it said: "To think!... to think!... to think I would be pushed to this extent by nothing more than a brat! HAHAHAHA!"
Archer: "Takeru what are you still doing standing there?! Hurry up and run!"
Hearing Archer's words Takeru immediately turned around and was about to run away, but then suddenly...
?: "No don't leave, you must slay it!... SLAY IT!"
A completely different voice from Archer's suddenly sounded within Takeru's head.
"Ugh!" Takeru felt great pain from his head the moment the mysterious voice spoke.
The mysterious voice continued.
?: "You must slay it!... SLAY THE DRAGON!"
"Dr-Dragon?" Muttered Takeru as he continued to endure the excruciating pain from his head.
By this point the snake like being was now completely covered in a pale black aura that continued to grow with every passing second.
"ROOOAR!" The snake like being roared as pale black scales began to appear throughout it's entire body. After a few seconds the large deep cut on it's chest was now gone and instead was now replaced by dozens of pale black scales.
Seeing this Takeru couldn't help but mutter: "W-What is he?"
When his transformation finished and his entire body was now covered by thick pale black scales, the snake like being began to laugh in excitement: "HAHAHA So this is it! This is the power of the Crime Force Dragon's Blood!... The power that came from the Evil Dragon Grendel!"
Hearing this Takeru thought: "Power that came from the Evil Dragon Grendel?... So this transformation of his was due to the fact that he possessed Grendel's Blood?!... If so then this situation is indeed really bad."
As someone who had read the Highschool DXD novel in his previous life, Takeru was naturally well aware of how powerful the Evil Dragon Grendel was. One thing to note about Grendel was the sheer absurd hardness and toughness of his scales.
Takeru then stared at the pale black scales now covering the snake like being's body and thought: "If this transformation of his was really due to the fact that he possessed Grendel's blood then... Even if I was at full strength right now, I probably won't be able to do much damage to him at all... I have to escape!"
Once again the mysterious voice spoke.
?: "No! You must slay it!... SLAY THE DRAGON!"
"Ugh! Who the hell is this guy talking in my head?... Each time he talks my head feels so painful." Muttered Takeru as he once again endured the excruciating pain from his head.
At this moment the snake like being turned towards Takeru and saw the boy holding his head, looking as if he was in pain.
Seeing this the snake like being sneered and said: "What's wrong boy? Did my transformation scare you so much that you're starting to lose your mind?"
Hearing the snake like being's words Takeru thought: "I think it's too late for me to run now."
Takeru then asked: "Archer you got any ideas?"
However the one that replied to him was not Archer.
?: "Slay it!... You must slay this beast possessing the blood of a dragon!"
Takeru then replied: "Look I don't know who you are, but as you can see I'm not exactly in any condition to fight, let alone slay this beast."
?: "Fine!...Then use my power!"
Takeru: "Eh?"
"Well brat it's time for you to die!" Shouted the snake like being as it unleashed a punch covered in pale black scales towards Takeru's face.
When the snake like being's fist was but inches away from Takeru's face...
Boom!
Takeru's entire body was suddenly enveloped by a large blue colored energy pillar as the snake like being was instantly sent flying.
"Guh!" Landing safely on the ground, the snake like being stared at the blue energy pillar that enveloped Takeru and said: "Such a massive amount of magic power... W-What the hell is this boy doing?"
When the blue colored energy pillar vanished, Takeru's appearance could be seen to have once again changed. His arms and hands now seemed to be draconic while at the same time being covered by serene black scales and light blue markings. Attached to his back were a pair of large black wings with a feathery appearance and light blue markings similar to the ones around his arms. As for his eyes they were now shining with bright blue lights.
Takeru then stared at the snake like being with his eyes glowing with bright blue lights and showed a crazed smile.
"Dragon... Dragon... MUST SLAY DRAGON!" Said Takeru as he suddenly charged towards the snake like being like a crazed beast.
"Wha?" Seeing the beast like Takeru charge towards him, the snake like being immediately raised it's arms to guard. But before it could do so, Takeru had already arrived in front of him and grabbed his neck then slammed him to the ground.
Bang!
"Arg!" Sounded the snake like being as it was slammed to the ground by Takru's draconic hand.
"Raaa Slay Dragon!" Said Takeru as he unleashed a black draconic fist towards the snake like being's face.
"Don't underestimate me brat!" Said the snake like being as it punched towards Takeru's approaching draconic fist.
BANG!
A shockwave was unleashed from the collision of the two black scaled fists.
When the smoke cleared, Takeru could be seen hovering in midair using his pair of black wings. Below him the snake like being could seen lying on a pile of rubble, it's left arm seem to be completely destroyed.
By this point the snake like being stared at Takeru with absolute fear and terror in his face. His fear of Takeru wasn't only due to the sheer power displayed by the boy, but also due to the terrifying aura coming from him.
Knowing that the boy hovering above him was no longer a foe he could fight by himself, the snake like being immediately decided to call for assistance: "Come my children!"
Upon his call numerous large snakes with central girths wider than their heads and tails suddenly came out of the ground one by one. These are the snake like being's children the Tsuchinokos!
"Lend me your power my children!" Shouted the snake like being as it began to gather the energies of the Tsuchinokos into it's mouth.
Seeing the snake like being gathering more and more energy into it's mouth, Takeru's crazed smile simply became wider as he also began gathering magic power into his right dragonic fist.
After a few moments...
"DIE BRAT!" Shouted the snake like being as it fired a large and powerful purple colored beam from it's mouth.
As the large purple colored energy beam was quickly approaching him, Takeru began to mutter: "Apocalypse Dragon's..."
"OBLITERATION BLOW!" Shouted Takeru as he unleashed a blue colored massive energy blast from his right dragonic fist.
BANG!
Blue and Purple energies clashed.
After a moment Takeru's blue energy blast easily overwhelmed the snake like being's purple beam.
"What?!... NOOOOO!" Shouted the snake like being as he and his children were immediately swallowed by Takeru's blue energy blast.
After a few moments, Takeru's blue energy blast vanished. As for the snake like being and his children... not even a speck of dust were left of them.
Seeing that his foe had been completely destroyed, Takeru immediately turned into a blur and disappeared.
Moments later two magic circles suddenly appeared in the middle of Kuoh Woods. From the red magic circle a beautiful young girl with crimson hair suddenly stepped out. While as from the blue magic circle a bespectacled young girl with a slim figure stepped out.
Seeing the sheer amount of damage done to Kuoh Woods, the two young girls jaws dropped in shock.
After a few moments Rias Gremory sighed then turned to her friend and said: "Well looks like we have a long night ahead of us don't you think so Sona."
Sona Sitri sighed as well, tapped her glasses and said: "Indeed... Hopefully we find the one who caused this as soon as possible."
...
Within a mysterious dark room...
Shatter!
A small green crystal suddenly shattered.
"Hm?" Noticing the shattered green crystal, a middle-aged man with dark silver hair and hazel eyes smirked and said: "Heh... Looks like somebody managed to kill my little pet. Well now that's a waist of a vial of Grendel's blood... But I wonder who it was that managed to kill him? Was that little girl from the Gremory house? Or was it Serafall's baby sister?... Either way it doesn't matter. None of them would be able to trace that piece of waist back to me anyway."

At this moment Takeru could be seen sitting beside a large dumpster within the alley close to his house. It's been about two hours since he fought against the snake like being. During that time Takeru had fully focused on recovering his strength and stamina.
Takeru then exhaled and said: "Looks like I've somewhat mostly recovered now."
Archer: "You were lucky... If that other guy didn't wake up and allowed you access to the power of the Sacred Gear he was sealed in, then chances are you wouldn't be alive right now."
Hearing Archer's words, Takeru couldn't help but turn silent. He could still remember it the moment when the other soul allowed him access to it's power. At that moment Takeru felt as if he had completely lost control. The only thing in his mind at that moment was to slay the beast in front of him possessing dragon blood.
Takeru then asked: "Hey Archer is that soul..."
Archer: "Yeah I can sense him... He's definitely already awake here in your inner mental world. However from the looks of it he doesn't seem to be interested in conversing with me at all."
Hearing this Takeru sighed and said: "I should probably think about this tomorrow... I'd better go home now and get some rest. That battle drained me way too much."
...
The Next Day...
Takeru could be seen arriving in a classroom while yawning. He then placed his bag on one of the desks and thought: "It's so good to be back in school."
He then showed a serious expression and thought: "Last night I entered my inner mental world but couldn't find any traces of that other soul... Archer said it's probably because it doesn't seem to be interested in conversing with us... Hmm... I wonder how I'll be able to talk to it?"
It was at this moment that one of his classmates called out to him which interrupted his thoughts.
?: "Hey Takeru how was your weekend? Play any good games lately?"
Takeru then turned to the person that spoke and said: "Oh Kazuma, good morning."
This person is one of Takeru's good friends among his classmates... Kazuma Kuwabara.
Kazuma is a tall boy with reddish orange hair that is greased back into a 1950s Elvis Pompadour/jelly roll hairstyle. He has an angular face with narrow gray eyes, high cheekbones and a slender pointed nose.
Suddenly a cute girl with long orange hair and brown eyes entered the classroom and greeted the two boys.
Orange haired girl: "Good morning Kiseki-kun, Kuwabara-kun."
Takeru: "Good morning Inoue-san."
Kazuma: "Morning Inoue-san."
This girl is another friend of Takeru's among his classmates... Orihime Inoue.
Takeru then talked with his two friends for awhile before the teacher finally came in and said: "Alright everybody sit down, I have an announcement today."
Hearing the teacher's words, the students immediately got in their seats and became quiet.
Seeing the students get in their seats and quiet down, the teacher quickly turned towards the classroom's entrance and said: "You may come in now."
When the door opened an extremely beautiful girl with long white hair and large blue eyes walked into the classroom. One thing to note was that she seemed to have quite the curvaceous body for her young age.
By this point most of the boys in class had their jaws drop upon the sight of this girl, while as the girls also seemed to be quite mesmerized by her beauty.
The teacher then said: "This is our new transfer student Ms. Mirajane Strauss... Please give her a warm welcome."
Mirajane simply gave a slight smile and said: "Hello there everybody I'm Mirajane Strauss, it's very nice to meet you all."
After a moment the entire class cheered: "Welcome!"
After that the entire class started bombarding her with questions.
"Strauss-san you have such beautiful hair, where do you get it done?"
"Strauss-san you're a foreigner right? Is it alright if I ask as to which country are you from?"
"Strauss-san you have such nice skin, you absolutely have to tell me your secret!"
"Strauss-san do you have a boyfriend? If not then..."
As for Takeru the side of his lips couldn't help but twitch as he thought: "So not only Kazuma Kuwabara from Yu Yu Hakusho and Orihime Inoue from Bleach, but even Mirajane Strauss from Fairy Tail has an alternate version in this class now?"
