'Thoughts'
(With Harry)
A few days later Harry received a letter from both the headmaster and Hermione/Ron. He read the letter from Hermione and Ron first. Hermione explained what happened. He was pleased with the reason why he hadn't been told. He had believed the reason was that he wasn't trusted or that he was just a pawn that wasn't worth informing. He wished he hadn't been forgotten but it was better than what he had been thinking.
Ron just wanted to make sure he knew that he cared and hoped Harry would be okay. He filled Harry in on what was happening. Harry agreed that his mum was out of line. She took over a house that wasn't hers. She was also rude to the host. She was going to be in for a rude awakening when he got there.
Next he read Dumbledore's letter. He explained what happened and apologized. Harry felt for him. Dumbledore was being treated like a dangerous crazy man and was so busy that it slipped his mind. He then told Harry he would look into the woman claiming to be his aunt and if she was then why she couldn't send him a letter or go get him.
Next he told him he was trying to get him out of the house. He knew that it was dangerous but the ministry refused. They said that Harry was making things up for attention. That didn't stop the headmaster from trying.
'I wish I was normal.' He thought.
Harry sighed and went back to work. He knew he would be in trouble if he didn't finish the list of chores his uncle gave him.
(With Dumbledore and Minerva)
"So you're going?" Minerva asked.
"I am. If Harry has another family out there, and a magical one, then I can get him out of that house." He said.
"I hope she is his aunt." She said.
"Me too."
"I'll see you when you get back."
"Of course. Bye."
"Goodbye." He left after that.
Albus apparated to the international port-key port. He grabbed his scheduled port-key and soon was in America. He greeted a few people as he left. He made his way to his destination. It didn't take him long to arrive.
A woman with short red hair walked up to him. Her brown eyes had a knowing look in them. Albus was stunned. She looked a little like James but she definitely took after the Gryffindor side of her family.
"Are you Margaret Rosenblatt?" He asked.
"Who's asking?" She asked.
"Albus Dumbledore, Harry Potter's headmaster."
"I thought so. Why are you here?"
"I need to confirm if you are his aunt. His relatives are abusive and the ministry won't let me remove him and everytime I tried anyway they put him right back there."
"My nephew is being abused?!" Her eyes flashed in anger.
"Yes. I have the potion ready. All I need is your blood."
"Of course."
She cut her finger and allowed one drop of blood to fall in. A scroll appeared and he quickly looked. He sighed in relief when he saw that she was indeed James's sister.
"Thank goodness. Now Harry sent a letter to his friend. It said that you can't contact him?"
"That's correct. My letters never get to him and everytime I go there I suddenly forget why I am there. So does anyone I send there."
"Hmmm." He didn't like that.
"I'm assuming it wasn't you." She said.
"No. Had I known you existed I would have sent him to live with you."
"Can you send him here?" She asked.
"I can try. Maybe if I take you there and remind you it will work."
"It's worth a try. Let me just tell my husband and son."
"Of course." He said.
He waited as she pulled out a phone. She called her son and then her husband. She told them what was going on. Afterwards she turned and looked at him.
"I'm ready."
(With Nita)
Nita sighed as she finished painted the last bit of the house. As punishment her dad had her fix the house up without magic. He wasn't as mad as she thought he would be. He understood her anger. Unfortunately that didn't mean he wasn't going to punish her.
'My fault and I deserve to be punished. Could have been punished with something much worse.'
"Are you finished?" Her dad asked.
"I am." She confirmed.
"Come down and take a break."
"Yes sir."
Nita climbed down the ladder and was soon next to her father. He handed her a glass of lemonade. She smiled and thanked him.
"You're welcome dear."
"Dad?"
"Yes dear?"
"How do I control my temper?" She asked. "I hear someone make fun of giants and I just get so angry."
Maximus sighed. "I know. I usually take a deep breath and count to ten before releasing that breath. I then remind myself that these people don't know us like we do and are just being hateful. It tends to calm me down."
"Oh."
"Don't worry Nita. I know you will learn to control your temper. I did."
"I hope so. These punishments suck." She pouted.
Maximus laughed. "I know."
"Thanks dad."
"You're welcome."
"Back to work." She sighed.
"Have fun." He smirked.
Nita glowered at him. He laughed once more. She rolled her eyes and walked off. She cursed the fact the property was huge, there were so many buildings, and their house was huge. She wasn't too upset since she knew she deserved it. She shouldn't have punched that snob. She just hoped she would someday soon control her temper.
