Chapter 3 – I know you

We were standing by the minister's ship; Jaco was fiddling with ear communicator. Suddenly the little patrol man got a smile on his face. "What?" I asked irritated. "Bozis still has his communicator on" laughed Jaco.

Jaco pressed the communicator into my hand and pressed it twice, the volume turned up to loud. Voices could be heard, they were clearly more than one. One voice said "Boss she is unstable, she's becoming aggressive" that was clearly Bozis.

Another harsh voice began to speak. "Status report, now." It was quiet, very quiet. Then we heard a slap against bare skin. A woman's voice softly spoke, it was Yuri "the man on the roof, who was he". The loud voice started talking again but a little slower "you saw him earlier this week, during a task".

This man, who could he be? The voice didn't sound familiar to me. He fed her lies, surely you will remember if you have seen anyone this week? This was so bizarre, on so many levels. Carefully we listened in further.

"I knew him" spoke a soft absent voice, it was Yuri again. The harsh male voice continued "Your work is a gift to the universe. You have done so much for us already, through all this years. And you need to do it again. We are on the verge of a revolution, we need you". It was silent again for a moment.

Two big yellow eyes stared at me and then back at his communicator. We heard Yuri again "but I knew him". A deep sigh could be heard through the device. The hard male voice continued "Prep her".

Bozis's voice was heard again "she's been out of cryo freeze too long". The hard man's voice cut him off. "Then wipe her, and start over." Beeping and squeaking could be heard in the back ground. A loud scream, it was Yuri what were they doing there?

"Jaco keep this line up, we need to get there as soon as possible." I felt angry, furious even. This girl did not deserve this. For a moment I pictured us as children again, in the palace on planet Vegeta. Quickly I shook to thought off. Time to go.

But we didn't get off the ground; we were stopped by one of the leaders of the Galactic Patrol. "What is this, fuck off" I shouted. The anger was already high; they were now irritating me even more.

But there were clamps around the wheels and a magnet against the belly of the ship. Furious, I stormed out "What is the meaning of this!" I was ready to punch the light out of someone's eyes.

The stately man from earlier spoke up "Mr. Prince, if you are calm we can explain". Calm? Calm?! I'll beat that guy to the other side of the planet, through the core! But then Jaco was standing next to me "what information do you have?" Surprised, I looked at the patrol man next to me.

Ten minutes later we were in the same room as the last call. I stood ready to go with my arms crossed at the door. The stately man spoke again "We have their next target; thanks to Bozis's scouter blunder we were able to get it. On planet Lego an important meeting between ministers is being held. We'll see you there!"

Still angry, I asked "And why would we do that? We know where they are now; hit them in their home base". The stately man walked up to me "Mr. Saiyan, your combat skills are extraordinary. But their home base is in the middle of a big city, innocents will die, we catch them in an ambush. And that will be the end of this".

"And if you have Yuri, what do you do?" concentrated, I watched the man walk away. He turned around "A fair trial, but she eventually disappear for her crimes." My fists balled, disappear? Never!

Another dirty beige robe. I looked at it, what a terrible thing! I put it on and the hood I put on. We were on planet Lego now. I put the scouter on my ear. Those things were never comfortable. Still didn't agree with the plan, but this was the way to maybe isolate Yuri.

I had felt her ki before, now my focus was on this ki in order to recognize it directly. We stood in a half oval meeting room. I couldn't take the blabbering of the ministers. No ki could be felt yet, were they wrong?

But then there was the ki, it was still far away! It was slowly getting closer. My hand went in that direction and then I shot a hole in the wall with a ki blast. Without saying a word I flew through the hole, towards the ki. There I saw a group also in beige robes, one person looked at me and pulled off her robe.

Those icy blue eyes, hair pulled tight in a braid and wearing a black suit with a one odd metal colored sleeve. I didn't feel like waiting and flew at her, she flew backwards but I was too fast. My fist hit her cheek.

This was thoughtful; she slammed a fist into my stomach. That metal-colored sleeve was no sleeve. She had a complete metal arm? And it was hard! Now I went directly to Super Saiyan, but still she could defend herself just fine. She kept looking emotionless, like I was just a target.

She had an earpiece in. From the ground, I saw a man addressing her clearly. With all the speed I had I sneaked up behind her. With a small ki blast at the ear that earpiece was broken. She turned around, my hand grabbed her throat. At first I pulled her to me "Let's fly a little, sis"

With a push of energy, we flew in the completely opposite direction, just outside the city. With force I threw her to the ground. Coughing, she stood up again, her fists clenched. "Listen Yuri, you don't have to do this" I shouted. Confused she looked at me angrily "I don't know you "she shouted and attacked me.

She kept hitting, she was strong and that metal arm was doing quite a bit of damage. Another power up on my part. With my fist I lashed out. She dodged but then I was too quick and did a kick into her ribs. She held her rib; a clear crack could be heard. But still she attacked me.

With my fist I slammed her hard backwards against a rock, the rock collapsed. Yuri landed under the ravage. A rock pint down into her leg. Several rocks with sharp spikes wounded her. She wanted to get out from under it. A large rock came down straight at her.

I shot the falling stone in to pieces, and freed her leg by pulling out the pointy stone. She stood up, but clearly weakened and injured. My power went back down and I was back to my normal form "You know me" I said.

Anxious, angry and confused, she stared at me. She exhaled and shouted "no I don't". Her fist was easy to dodge. "Yuri! You've known me all your life" again she hit me, But there was not much power in it.

"Your name is Yuri, daughter of Gin. Born on planet Vegeta". I blocked her attacks, she clearly had tears in her eyes "shut up" she cried. "I'm not going to fight you, you used to call me brother". She flew at me, her metal fist against my face. We stared at each other.

Then a person came from behind and jumped on her back. It was Jaco! And he was holding something. A mask went over her nose and mouth, she collapsed. That was the anesthetic mask Bulma had given us.

"Vegeta you have to get out of here, you have to go back to earth now!" Surprised, I looked at the little irritating alien. "I just got news from Bulma, Frieza is on his way to Earth." Angrily I stood up and threw Yuri over my shoulder. "Who else knows about this?" Jaco looked at me in surprise.

"Follow me, fool" I flew into the air. We went back to the spaceport. Jaco followed me; I pointed to a space ship "That one, can you fly it?" Jaco only nodded yes. As quickly as possible we got off the ground. Less than two minutes later we were in the air with the ship.

Jaco piloted the ship; I put a new capsule in the anesthetic mask. Yuri`s braid had come loose, with the loose hair I recognized her a little more. Jaco turned around to us. "Would Frieza have known you were not on earth?" My mind jumped back and forth. "Of course, that low-level lizard has ears everywhere."

For an hour it was silent, Jaco flew. I myself was lost in thought. Suddenly a radio call. "Jaco, do you have the winter soldier in your possession?" it was that terribly stately man. Jaco looked at me anxiously. With a deep sigh I answered the radio "Yes, she's going home with me".

It was silent for a moment "negative, we can't let that happen. She has blood on her hands." Staring at the starry sky I replied "me too, but you have never come for me before." Again it was silent, it remained silent. We continued our journey back to earth. Where our next battle would be.
