Many people have made memes of it, but many do ask: Why JOJO vs SAO? Comparatively speaking, SAO is a basic and niche anime with a slightly large fanbase and tons of spinoffs and video games. Meanwhile, JOJO is a classic piece of art, not even just anime, spanning decades and being recognized by multiple communities. It's one of the most popular animes in the East and the West, has a ton of pop culture references, inspired many future voice actors/actresses, and has been referenced in more than a thousand different forms of media, only possibly being rivaled by stuff like Dragon Ball, One Piece, and Naruto. Oh, and have you guys ever heard of The Louvre before? It's the largest art museum in the world, found in France, and containing famous pieces such as the Mona Lisa. Well, to those of you who don't know, Hirohiko Araki was the FIRST MANGAKA EVER to feature his artwork there. That basically says it all.

So why do people compare SAO and JOJO? I answer your question with another question: Why did the Romans have so much fun watching poor gladiators fight man-eating tigers?

Sometimes, we humans enjoy seeing one side completely obliterate the other. It's why there's SO MANY anime now with OP Protagonists. One Punch Man does it right (and probably started the trend) while others fail to grasp the concept. It's basically the "We Can Beat Goku" philosophy. And it's why so many people like to joke about SAO vs JOJO, cause we all know which one is the best.

But why specifically SAO vs JOJO? Perhaps it's because they first debuted in the same year. Perhaps it's because many seasons of both anime line up with each other. Or maybe because a certain website claimed that the long awaited JOJO Part 5 was ranked 7th in the Most Anticipated Fall 2018 Anime while SAO Alicization was ranked 1st. Actually, now that I looked it up, SAO III seems to rank all in 1st place for awaited 2018 anime. To quote a certain character from Part 5, "I believe that God forgives even murder!" At least WatchMojo got it right.

Now that I'm writing this in 2021, I want my readers to now consider those two options. Which one was better? SAO III or JOJO V? I'll wait and respect any decision you make, even if it's wrong. But before you do that, let's get this chapter started already! And of course . . .

I do not own either of these stories. Sword Art Online was written by Reki Kawahara and JoJo's Bizarre Adventure was written by Hirohiko Araki.

Chapter 3: Bullets Fly, Pistols Cry

Pannacotta Fugo. Born: 2005. Height: 172 cm(5ft 6in). Special Talent: Playing the piano. Age: 16. Current Position: Somewhere in Tokyo.

He remembered it like it was yesterday. He couldn't remember what had happened, but what he did remember was water. Lots and lots of water. From rain to river. Just endless amounts of water. Thinking harder, he did remember washing ashore at one point, hearing the distressed cries from people around him, ambulances, flashing lights, and being carried on a stretcher. Afterwards, he awoke in a hospital bed, having no idea what was going on.

The only thing that he was told by the doctor was that he had been asleep for two months. The man had been found in a river, yet strangely, had no documentation about who he was. The only reason why he was still being taken care of was because an anonymous individual had been paying for his hospital fees. When asked who he was, the man could only remember that his name was Doppio Vinegar and that he had been looking for his boss.

Soon after, the anonymous individual revealed himself. Doppio thought the boy looked familiar, but appeared much more mature than when he had seen him. His shining golden aura radiated through the boy's heart, a presence that even toppled his boss's own. He was eventually taken to an interrogation room, where he sat with this boy and another behind him, cautiously having his hand over his pistol.

"So that's what happened," the golden boy thought out loud. "And to think that his other personality was so fleshed out as well."

"Wh-what happened to me?" Doppio asked.

"Most likely," the boy assumed, "when Golden Experience Requiem defeated your other self, it only sent that other self into the turmoil he suffers now. After our souls were swapped, you must have returned to your body as well, but were pushed to the back in favor of him. Whatever happened, it appears that you and only you have control over this body now."

Doppio couldn't believe it. This boy had told him the true nature of his boss, one that he had served for as long as he could remember. His boss had always called him for support and help, always thinking that he was looking out for him. Technically, he was, but he also wasn't. To think that his boss had been with him every step of the way shocked Doppio to the core. And after the boy had told him what had happened, the boy could only feel disgusted with himself and his boss. He never knew that his boss, or himself, had done such horrible things to so many people. Now that he thought about it, he always called him "boss," but he never knew what he was the boss of.

"Tell me, can you still use your Stand as well?" the boy asked him.

"I can," Doppio claimed. With that, the two others in the room were shocked to see a little face appear on the boy's forehead. It was small and pink with green eyes, exactly like the other head of the Stand the two had seen before. However, instead of its usual angry or gritty expression, it had a much more sad and worried look. "I can still use Epitaph fully, but . . ."

The two were shocked again as two crimson arms appeared by the boy's side. They had white lines running down them in a diamond pattern, with white shoulder blade armor and green jewels on its knuckles. "This is all I can use of King Crimson's power. And it appears that my Time Skipping ability has been shortened to five seconds instead of ten."

"Interesting," the boy thought again. "Even with your lack of power, you could still prove to be powerful later on," Doppio was shocked as the boy reached out a hand to him. "Doppio Vinegar! You have lived your entire life as a cover up for another's gain. However, now that you are free from that man, you fear a life alone, do you not?"

The man was shocked, not knowing how this boy could tell that. He nodded in confirmation. "In that case, why don't you devote your life to me? I promise to treat you with respect and care, something that your boss would never give you. If you pledge your life to me, I promise you that you will never be left alone ever again!"

The man's eyes sparkled at this boy's words. No doubt was he at least half the age of him, but his words were so full of charisma and hope that lit up Doppio's heart. True, while his boss had always called him, it was usually for a mission or a job to take care of. But this boy, Giorno Giovanna, was offering him another chance, even though technically they were enemies. It made Doppio smile as he took the boy's hand and offered allegiance to him. After completing a test set by Giorno, Doppio was fully accepted into the boy's entourage. He found friends and even family with Giorno, Mista, and even that turtle, Polnareff. He was happy, happier than was when he was with his previous boss. And he would do anything to ensure that his family's happiness would stay forever.

. . .

"What are you thinking about, Doppio?"

The boy awoke from his flashback, looking over to Mista, who was in the driver's seat. They were just minutes away from the SAO Recovery Center and the man had been daydreaming.

"Oh, nothing really!" Doppio claimed. "Just remembering when we first met!"

"Yeah, that was a shock to learn that you survived that!" Mista claimed, rubbing the man's head. "And to believe that you're even older than I am!"

"And you should respect my age too," Doppio grumbled, as Mista messed up his hair. Fixing it in the car's mirror, the two finally arrived at the hospital, where they planned on meeting up with the others. It was a large building, but the two were given simple instructions about where to go. Finally, after a few minutes of searching, they came to the room they were supposed to be meeting at. There, waiting in the room, was Josuke Higashikata, Kazuto Kirigaya, and a nurse.

"My, my! The amount of handsome fellows keeps being added to this room by the minute!" the nurse swooned. "I'm glad I was assigned to this job!"

"Hey, you guys!" Josuke greeted them. "This is Miss Aki! She was Kazuto's assigned nurse back in SAO and she'll be watching over your bodies while you're in that game."

"Huh? You're not coming with?" Kazuto asked. He was already lying in the bed, his shirt off and electrodes covering his body.

"They requested I stay out here and heal any possible damage to your bodies, if this Death Gun guy actually does manage to hurt you," Josuke claimed.

"A shame too!" Aki said. "I really wanted to see your muscles up close, Mr. Higashikata!" The nurse managed to get a blush out of the Stand User.

"But why just send three of us?" Kazuto asked.

"Because four is an unlucky number!" Mista yelled, shocking Kazuto. "If we enter with four people, then something bad will happen! I'm sure of it!"

"He wouldn't enter with four people and said that five was overkill," Doppio explained. "And we do need Mista on this mission, so it couldn't be helped."

"Really hope those gun skills of yours will actually be useful here," Kazuto grumbled.

"Better than those sword skills of yours," Mista fired back, getting a growl from Kazuto.

"Now, now. There's no need to fight," Aki claimed. "Now, let's get those clothes off of you boys and prepare to hook you up to this machine."

"O-o-our clothes?!" Doppio stuttered, hugging his body. "Do we have to?!"

"Well, we do need to attach these electrodes to your body," Aki explained.

"You can just take off your shirt," Kazuto told them. "She allowed me to do it." Doppio breathed a sigh of relief.

"No fair, Kirigaya!" she complained. "With all these handsome men around, I should at least get some kind of reward for doing so!"

"Aren't you getting paid though?" Josuke asked.

"That's not what I meant!"

Yet, Natsuki Aki still received more than she asked for when the two men took off their shirts, almost drooling in the process. Mista's body was thin yet well built, and while he didn't have a six pack like Josuke, his body still indicated that he could hold his own. However, it was Doppio's body that truly shocked Kazuto, Josuke, and Aki. Despite his skinny appearance, the boy was actually very well built, with a six pack to boot. Along with this, the boy was wearing an extremely thin and complex mesh shirt, with intricate black lines spreading across his body like a tattoo. The shirt, if you could call it that, mainly covered the top half of his body, with it spreading down to his arms and unique coat tails falling behind the shirt. The boy looked up to see everyone, with the exception of Mista, looking at him.

"Wh-what?" Doppio asked, now starting to feel embarrassed.

"N-nothing at all!" Aki declared, wiping her mouth. "L-let's get you boys hooked up already!"

The boys were attached with electrodes and laid down in their beds, adjacent to Kazuto's. Monitors with many different screens, reading heart rates and temperatures, spread across the bed. "Oh, by the way," Aki claimed. "Mr. Seijirou claimed that he had specially made avatars for each of you already in the game. He also paid Zaskar money to give you guys enough points to set up your character with a competitive build."

"What do you mean by points?" Mista asked.

"You'll see when you're in the game."

With that, the three put on their Amuspheres, got a nod from Josuke and Aki, and laid down in their beds. And together, in unison, the three shouted "Link Start!" and were transported to a screen of flashing colors.

. . .

The city within GGO was rough and gritty, representing the idea of Cyberpunk greatly. Almost everyone in town was wearing some form of clothing with a variation of black, brown, or gray, with few light blues mixed in the crowd. At a certain point in the city, at what appeared to be a gray cathedral with purple highlights, three new players entered the world of Gun Gale Online.

"Wow, Mista! You look exactly like you do in real life!" Doppio claimed.

The three boys looked over their avatars. What Doppio said was right, as he did look exactly the same, right down to his face, muscles, and even clothing! However, instead of a mix of purples and blacks, Mista's outfit was now patterned in a mix of orange and blues, with his pants now accurately being orange with black stripes. Doppio looked the exact same too, but his color scheme was now all purple, including his hair, instead of pink. Though, the two men were most surprised by Kazuto's avatar, and Mista tried to hold back a laugh.

"Wh-what's so funny?!" Kazuto demanded.

"D-dude!" Mista tried to say between giggles. "What the hell's with your avatar? You like doing this kind of stuff in the real world or what?" Confused, Kazuto went to look at himself in a mirror, adjacent to their spawn point. And as he studied his character, he let out a yelp. While Kazuto's face looked the same, his appearance looked extremely different. He had a very slim and petite body, as he wore gray pants and a white, long-sleeve shirt with a high collar and gray stripes. He had noticeable eyelashes and extremely long hair, reaching down all the way to his waist. His normal black eyes were replaced with a shade of purple with many sparkles in them. Kazuto could only stare in disbelief, realizing that he now looked like a girl.

"They gave us custom made avatars, huh?" Kazuto growled while clenching up a fist. "I'm going to have to talk with Kikuoka after all this is done!"

"Hey! You're an F-1300 type, right?!"

The three turned around in shock to see a man tentatively staring behind them. He wore goggles and a brown cloak, with a messy stubble beard and teeth missing in his smile. "That avatar type can only be won in a raffle! You almost never get one! Please miss, let me buy that avatar off of you! I'll give you two, no, three mega credits for it!"

"Miss?!" Kazuto squeaked, starting to grab his chest for any signs of bumps. The act caused Mista to laugh and for Doppio to chuckle off to the side, leaving the man confused. Finding no irregularities, Kazuto gave a sigh of relief. "Sorry, but I'm a guy," Kazuto informed the man.

However, this only riled him up even more. "Holy Crap! That means you have a M-9000 type, which is five times less likely to win!" he shouted, grabbing Kazuto by the shoulders. "I'll pay you four, even five megas for it! Please!"

"Um, sorry . . ." Kazuto said. "This was given to me as a . . . gift, so I don't feel like it's right for me to sell it."

"I see . . ." the man mumbled, now disappointed. Though, he then quickly turned his attention to Mista and Doppio. "How about you two?! I've never seen an avatar like yours before! Is yours even more rare than his?!"

"Not sure," Mista claimed, looking at his attire. "We were also given these as gifts, so I don't think it's right for us to sell it either."

The man could only pout, as the three decided to make their way out of spawn to wander the city. However, behind them, they could hear the man shouting "If you change your mind, contact me! My avatar's name is . . ." The three decided not to pay any more attention.

"But seriously, that was hilarious," Mista said as the three wandered the city. "Wonder why he gave you such a feminine avatar."

"Don't know, don't care," Kazuto grumbled. "All I know is that someone's gonna pay!"

"Let's forget about that now," Doppio claimed, trying to calm him down. "By the way, didn't Giorno say that you could see our Stands in here?"

"Yeah," Kazuto confirmed. "Try it out."

So they did. Kazuto was interested to see the two boys' Stands, with theirs looking much different than the four he's seen before. Doppio's Stand was just a smaller head that appeared on his forehead with a depressed look on its face. He also summoned two red arms by his side. Mista's was much more complex. His Stand was made up of six, small yellow humanoids with teardrop shaped heads. They had wild eyes and floated around Mista, each having a number going from 1-7 and having black rings around their eyes, with the exception of 4. Number 1 seemed to be the most joyful one of the bunch with canthus-like markings around its eyes. Number 2 was like a hype man, happily interacting with the others, with a black bar running between its eyes, making it look like it was wearing goggles. Number 3 seemed vicious and a bit of a bully, smacking the Stand with the Number 5, with him having beady, sharp eyes. Number 5 seemed like a wuss, crying after Number 3 started hitting him, with the under part of his eyes highlighted, as well as a spot on his face, looking like a nose. Number 6 looked fearsome, with a black V shape connecting its eyes, yet it seemed to be the quietest. Number 7 had a vertical scar-like pattern on its eyes that dripped downwards. It also appeared to have a Southern accent. Kazuto was amazed and wondered what it would be like to have a Stand of his own.

"I can technically use two Stands," Doppio claimed. "The one on my forehead, Epitaph, is the one I can use the best. The arms here belong to my other half, King Crimson."

"My Stand is made up of these six guys here, called Sex Pistols," Mista claimed. "Go on, you guys. Say hello."

"Why should we?" Number 2 asked. "We already know who these guys are! And just because femboy here's never seen us before doesn't mean we need to say hello!"

"Th-they can act on their own?" Kazuto exclaimed, shocked at the Stand's defiance.

"Hey, Mista!" Number 3 said. "I get why we're bringing pretty boy here, but why does this Standless loser need to accompany us? He'll only get in the way!"

"Hey!" Kazuto yelled, offended by the Stand's remark. "Take that back, you little shit!"

"Make me, femboy!"

Kazuto tried to swipe at the small Stand, but it only danced around Kazuto with ease, like a gnat, and continued to hurl insults. Soon enough, his brethren joined him in their assault, all except Number 5, as they pulled at the boy's hair and bit him here and there.

"Ok, you guys, that's enough," Mista said, as his Stands obeyed and circled back to him. Kazuto began regretting wanting a Stand of his own. Several minutes later, the group was still wandering the city, still at a complete loss of where to go.

"Don't games like these have teleporting functions of something?" Mista asked Kazuto.

"I tried, but it doesn't seem like this one does," Kazuto claimed, looking through the city. "Should have one though. This place is way too big just to travel by foot!"

The three were lost, to say the least. They had passed by several players before, but ignored them, as they either started flirting with Kazuto or made fun of Mista's and Doppio's appearance. Now that they had traveled quite some distance now, the area they were at was devoid of players. They could only wonder where to go now.

However, the group saw someone walking alone through the streets. She caught their eye, as her bright blue hair lit up to dark and dreary background, along with her white scarf and army green jacket. The trio decided to rush over and ask her for directions.

"Excuse me, ma'am?" Mista asked. "Do you know where we are right now? We're kinda lost."

"Of course," she said. "We're currently at-" She paused suddenly, her eyes growing wide at the sight of the bizarre trio in front of her. She had never seen such a colorful cast of characters before, literally, but also never saw such unique looking avatars either. While she couldn't tell what level two of the three were, she did recognize the beginner outfit on the female of the group, and only assumed the others were the same, given that they were lost.

"U-um," she stuttered. "Are you three . . . new to this game?"

"That obvious, huh?" Mista asked, rubbing his head.

"I've never seen a group quite like you guys," she remarked. "I didn't think such types of outfits even existed in the game."

"These avatars were gifts given to us," Doppio mentioned. "We just didn't know how rare these designs were."

"I see . . ." the girl said, looking over the trio. "If you're just starting out here, I assume you also don't have any guns either."

"You don't start out with a preset weapon?" Kazuto asked.

"Nope. You have to buy your first weapon. Sure, the game says it gives you freedom in your weapon choice, but in my opinion, it's all a scam," she claimed with a chuckle.

"Very strange," Mista thought out loud. "Would you mind showing us where to buy a gun?"

"Sure, why not," she said happily. "I've never seen a group like you before, and you all seem like nice people. I mean, you are the first guys I've met in a while who haven't tried to flirt with me or get my number. I'll show you around."

"Oh, I haven't even introduced myself!" the girl realized. "My name's Sinon. It's nice to meet you guys."

"I'm Guido Mista. Likewise."

"Doppio Vinegar. N-nice to meet you too."

"You can just call me Kirito."

. . .

After several minutes of walking, the four finally arrived at a store to buy guns, appropriately named yet largely uninspired, Market. The sign was the brightest thing in the area, as its switching multicolored sign brightened up the atmosphere of the dark world. It was a large, open space, with weapons displayed on long, vertical screens, categorized by weapon type. Dozens of players gathered there, checking out the weapons and show girls, dressed in skimpy outfits, displaying new, popular guns on sale. The three newbies looked around in awe as Sinon led them around the shop.

"They're are two types of ammo in GGO," she explained. "Live and energy ammo. Energy weapons are light and accurate, but many players can equip defensive fields to block these attacks. Mostly, energy type weapons are best for monster hunting."

"Huh? There's monsters in this game too?" Kirito asked.

"Yeah, while this game is mainly PvP, there are aspects of fantasy MMOs fixed in," Sinon said. "But honestly, I think it's kind of broken. Monsters give you money and sometimes guns, but many of these monsters weren't made for long range combat and will die easily. The only way they usually win is if the player didn't bring enough ammo."

"But back to what I was saying, if you guys want to defend yourself here, I say it's best to go with live ammo. Now, what kind of build are you guys looking into going to?"

"Build?" Doppio asked.

Sinon sighed. "Yeah, along with the monster aspect, this game also has something of a class based system. Players are given skill points to put into certain aspects of their avatar and make a build around those stats. You keep getting more as you level up. It's weird, given that most Shooters don't even need that aspect, but whatever."

She then opened up her menu for the boys to take a look at. On the screen, they saw that there were six stats, with Sinon herself having the most points in her DEX and STR, while her lowest appeared to be LUK and SEN.

"STR is Strength, which affects your carrying capacity and how hard you hit with your weapon. DEX is Dexterity, which involves accuracy and setting traps. VIT is Vitality, or your hit points. Then there's AGI, or Agility, which involves firing speed, reload speed, evasion, ground speed, aiming . . ."

"Woah woah woah!" Mista stopped her, shaking his hands. "What's with that last stat?! That's way too many skills for one stat!"

Sinon giggled. "That's what most players figure, so they mainly go for an AGI build. But recently, many players have been complaining, since the last Bullet of Bullet winner, Zexceed, once said that AGI types were the best, but then claimed that STR builds were the best. And since you can't diverge your already spent points into other aspects, many players believed they were screwed. Don't know why he said that though, considering there wasn't much evidence to back him up."

The group swallowed hard upon hearing the now deceased player's name. "Wh-what's Bullet of Bullets?" Doppio asked, trying to change the subject.

"Bullet of Bullets, or BoB, is the highest ranking tournament in the game," Sinon explained. "Whoever wins is crowned the best player in the game. Anyone can enter at any level and there's no drawback into entering, but most who enter are usually weeded down really quickly, due to the skill of better players."

Kirito listened with interest, wondering if they should enter the tournament as well. However, as he considered the option, he glanced again at Sinon's screen. "What about those last two stats?" he asked. "LUK and SEN."

"Oh, those?" Sinon asked. "LUK is obviously Luck, and SEN is Sensibility."

"Sensibility?" Mista asked in confusion. "Sensibility? What the hell is that?"

To their surprise, Sinon began to giggle. "To be honest, no one really puts any of their stats into those categories. Luck involves . . . well, luck. When using Luck, you could simply aim with your eyes closed and your bullet could still hit. Along with that, your bullets have a higher chance of getting critical hits on your enemy, but in turn you could take more damage by using Luck."

"What the hell?!" Mista asked in shock. "That's broken!"

"Exactly, but many don't choose to go into Luck, either because they fear a bad hand or don't want RNG in their build," Sinon explained. "Plus, many other players shame LUK builds or make fun of them, and are usually the disrespectful ones in this game. Anyways, Sensibility is a confusing one. For a long time, no one put their stats into this category. It didn't even have a description on the official website until someone finally asked the developers about it. Basically, Sensibility involves seeing the movements of your enemy ahead of time and the possible shooting directions your enemy would take."

"Like reading the future . . ." Doppio muttered. "But like with LUK, that seems completely broken!"

Sinon nodded. "You would figure that a SEN/AGI type would be unstoppable, right? Well, check out it's stat screen." The three looked, and to their surprise, SEN needed three times as many skill points to level up than the other stats. "Considering how much it takes to level up SEN, many players don't go into that build. If you waste all your points into just checking prediction lines, you won't be able to act on those predictions fast enough or deal enough damage to actually matter."

"But enough of that. Let's see how many points you guys have to start out with," Sinon suggested, and the three brought up their stat screens. However, much to Sinon's shock, the three boys each had 100,000 points to spend on stats, rather than just the starting 5. "Wh-what is this?!" she asked in awe. "You guys said you were newbies, right? So how do you have all these points?!"

"W-we said we were given these as gifts," Doppio said. "They must have given us these points too."

"This is enough points to go pro right off the bat! It costs a lot of money to buy these points alone!" Sinon exclaimed. She then stared up at the three with a suspicious glare. "Who are you guys, exactly?"

"J-just some newbies looking to have fun in a shooting game," Kirito said, trying to throw Sinon off of their trace.

She continued to stare at them until she let out a sigh. "Fine. If you don't want to say, that's fine. Just make a build real quick so we can pick out a gun that suits each of you the best." The three nodded, as each took the time to look over their stats and decide which category to go into. Curious, Sinon quickly went over to take a peek at what they were going for. She saw Kirito going into a basic AGI/STR build, putting most of his skills into Agility. She smiled, knowing that this basic build would carry Kirito a long way. However, upon checking the others, Sinon was shocked that Mista was going into a LUK/VIT build and Doppio was going for a SEN/STR build.

"Hold on!" she shouted, causing the three to look over to her. "Think about this, you two! You're really going to go into those types of builds, even after everything I told you about those stats?"

"Of course," Mista claimed. "Now, I'm not superstitious, but if I was able to get a critical hit on another player and killed them just by shooting their foot, I'd think I'd be pretty happy, Besides, I'm also putting my stats into VIT, so I'll have enough health in case I suffer a crit too!

"It would be easy to see another's movement before they take it," Doppio explained. "And if I put my remaining points into STR, I'll be able to pack a punch."

"But . . ." Sinon began to say, but stopped herself. "No, that's fine. Everyone has their own preferences. Besides, those strange builds only compliment your guys' . . . uniqueness."

"I feel like that was going to be an insult," Kirito said with a pout, causing Sinon to laugh awkwardly and deny it.

"Nevermind that!" Sinon said. "Let's focus on getting you guys some guns! For starters, how much money do you guys have?"

The three looked at their screens and claimed that each had only 1,000 credits. "Just the starting amount, huh?" Sinon thought out loud. "With that type of money, you could only buy mid-level energy guns or low-level physical guns. And even if we consider sub weapons and gear . . ." The three watched as Sinon began calculating the cost of each of their materials out loud, as if she was a human calculator. She then stopped herself, looking over to the others. "You know, if you guys want, I can lend you some money."

"Oh no! You don't have to do that for us!" Doppio said, refusing her kind offer. "We only just met today!"

"Yeah, but still, I don't want you guys to be underprepared," Sinon claimed. "Not after everything I've told you."

"Is there any way of making big bucks real fast?" Mista asked.

Sinon put a hand up to her chin. "I don't recommend it, but there are some casino and gambling games you guys can try."

. . .

"Hey Chickens! Come and get some!"

Off to the side of the market, there displayed many Las Vegas style of gambling games, like Poker and Blackjack. However, among these games, there were some originals exclusive to GGO, such as the one the four were staring at now. It was a long pathway, funneled in by a wooden fence, with a cowboy NPC with blonde hair and beard waiting at the end, behind what appeared to be an old timey Western style bank. The game's name was also displayed over the bank: Untouchable.

"The goal of the game is to make it to the end, dodge the bullets, and tag the NPC. If you do, you'll win all the money everyone put into it before," Sinon explained. And above the sign, it displayed a total of 301,500 credits!

"That's enough for all of us to buy whatever we need! Maybe even more!" Kazuto stated.

"But it's impossible," Sinon tried to reason. "Once you make it past the 8 meter line, he starts becoming disjointed in his attacks. By the time you see the prediction lines, it'll be too late."

"Prediction lines?" Mista asked, curious.

"You'll see. Watch! Someone's about to add to the pool!" Sinon whispered, pointing over at the start of the gate. The three looked and saw three other players, hyping their friend up to charge the gauntlet. The man going in wore a bright blue camouflage suit, along with wearing sunglasses and a military newsboy hat. The four watched on as he hit a small pad off to the right side of the game, needing a handprint to exchange 500 credits to play. After the man smacked his hand on the tablet, a familiar Western jingle played.

The NPC cowboy took position. "I'm gonna blast you to the Moon!" he claimed. Soon enough, a crowd started to gather around the game, hoping to see the first winner in a while, or see another chump fail.

"Glad you all gathered here today!" the man in blue claimed. "Cause today, I'm clearing this game and all the money for myself!" There were some cheers and boos mixed in the crowd, as the man prepared to charge in. A clock started to count down his time from five, and after it reached zero, the man charged in with a war cry.

The group watched as he ran headfirst towards the cowboy. However, all of a sudden, the man stopped in his tracks, standing in a awkward position while on one leg, his hands in the air, and his head turned to the side. The three boys looked in confusion, wondering if the guy suddenly froze in fear. However, to their shock, three bullets suddenly whizzed past the man, going right past where the man was posing. The three continued to watch as the man continued to charge ahead.

"Those are the prediction lines," Sinon explained. "It's a defensive assist system used in combat. With the exception of a sniper's first shot, a targeted player will see a display showing the path the bullet will take. Pretty cool, right?" The three watched on as the man took another awkward pose, bullets flying past him, and continuing to charge ahead.

"But . . ." Mista began, watching the man duck under another row of bullets. "THAT'S COMPLETELY BROKEN!"

Along with the shock of the crowd, the man running was suddenly distracted by Mista's voice, as a bullet fired by the NPC tripped him up as he fell on his butt. The NPC seemed to notice this and smiled, as the man now looked helplessly as the NPC fired another round of three bullets into the man, knocking him out.

"Game Over!" the NPC claimed victoriously. And with that, the total earnings of the game increased to 302,000. The man walked back, defeated, as the crowd chuckled or was disappointed by the show.

"See?" Sinon explained. "You can't move far to the left or right, so you have to run right down the middle. That area's the limit. And by the way, Mista, what did you mean by 'that's broken?'"

"Are you guys idiots?!" Mista claimed, looking at Sinon and the rest of the crowd. "This should be the easiest shooter in the entire world! What kind of game predicts the bullet rate fired by the enemy?! How the hell do you even get hit by that?!"

"It's not like it doesn't have some drawbacks," a man in the crowd said. "Depending on the speed of the bullets, the type of gun, and the specific build you're using, sometimes the bullet prediction lines aren't enough."

"But a sniper's first shot is basically a guaranteed kill!" Mista argued. "In a 1v1, that's totally fucking busted! Right guys?!"

Doppio nervously shook his head, while the group was surprised that Kirito wasn't there anymore. Suddenly, they heard the Western jingle go again and saw Kirito confidently striding up to the gate, ready to go.

""W-wait! Kirito!" Sinon yelled, but was too late to stop him.

"So a beginner is going to try now?" the previous man chuckled.

"That's the cutest target I've ever seen!" one man from the crowd said.

"Let's wait a while and see her get blasted full of holes," the man Mista was arguing with said.

The clock hit zero and Kirito sprinted out of the gate, running with his head low and his arms behind him in a ripped off Naruto run. Just like Sinon said, Kirito could see the bullet's prediction system coming at him in red lines and marking him with red targets. However, instead of holding still and changing position, Kirito merely dodged out of the way while running, continuing his advance without needing to stop momentum. Along with this, he quickly started to weave and bob as he ran, trying to throw the NPC's aim off of him. Time and time again, the boy was able to dodge the bullets thrown at him. Sinon was impressed at Kirito's movements as he dodged another round.

"She's already made it past the ten meter mark?!" the previous contestant announced.

"Who is she?!" his friend wondered.

Kirito smiled, realizing that Mista was right: the game was just too easy if you had enough speed. The shots started to become more rapid, with less time to dodge, but Kirito simply kept his act up, dodging the enemy's fire.

"Just a few more meters!" Kirito thought. "Soon enough, this guy will be completely out of ammo-" was the last thing he thought. To his shock, the NPC suddenly pointed his gun at him again without reloading, and to his shock, the barrel glowed a bright blue. Kirito tried to jump out of the way, but in an instant, lazer beams came out of the revolver instead of live bullets. Kirito dodged out of the way of most of them, but was struck in his leg by one of the lazers. He collapsed back on the ground, defeated, as the NPC smiled at him and announced "Game Over!" And with that, the pile added up to 302,500.

Kirito was slightly angry with the NPC, but sighed and walked back, his head held low. However, he was suddenly greeted to a round of cheers by the audience, with many claiming "That was the closest anyone has gotten!" and "Good for you, kid!" Kirito smiled as he was greeted again by his companions.

"You did a whole lot better than I expected," Sinon praised him. "Who would have thought that the game suddenly switched to energy ammo out of the blue."

"Yeah!" someone in the crowd next to them said. "That's totally cheating! This game is broken!"

"You complained about that, but not the bullet prediction system?" Mista sighed, now walking up to the gate as well. The crowd was surprised as he prepared to go in, placing his hand on the tablet.

"Mista! Not you too! Didn't you see what happened to Kirito?" Sinon asked.

"I did," Mista said. "And now, I can see a clear path to victory, thanks to him!"

"Don't do it Mista!" Kirito claimed. "I was an AGI build and I still couldn't reach it. We can just cut our losses and leave that game alone. Besides, that NPC reminds me a lot of the stupid cowboy movie with Clint Eastwood in i-"

"DON'T YOU DARE INSULT CLINT EASTWOOD!" Mista suddenly yelled, running over and grabbing Kirito by the shirt. "YOU DON'T KNOW ANYTHING ABOUT GOOD WESTERN MOVIES! NON HAI CAPITO UNA SEGA!"

"Jesus, chill dude!" Kirito claimed. "Look, the game's about to start!"

Mista looked over to see the clock starting to count down. He let Kirito go and shoved him aside. "We'll talk about that later," he growled, running back to the gate.

Kirito let out a sigh of relief, remembering to not criticize Clint Eastwood again in front of Mista. The others simply were flabbergasted at what had occurred, not knowing the man had such a passion for the American actor. One person even asked, "Did that guy just speak Spanish?"

The clock counted down to zero and Mista was off, running straight towards the cowboy like Kirito did, but without the Naruto run. "Go to Hell!" the NPC claimed, shooting at Mista with live ammo.

"When you have to shoot, shoot. Don't talk," Mista quoted. "Sex Pistols!"

Without diverging from his straight path, Mista kept charging in. And to the crowd's shock, the bullets flew right past Mista as he ran, even though he didn't dodge. How did he do that? Did the NPC miss? But it was an NPC! And the crowd kept watching in shock as the bullets still flew right past Mista, still not changing his direction or dodging. And as he ran, Sinon could have sworn that there were small, yellowish lights flickering around Mista as the bullets flew, but couldn't tell. And soon enough, he too made it to the ten meter mark.

"You're done for!" the NPC cried, as Mista could now see the barrel of his revolver now glowing blue.

"Mista! We're ready!" he heard Number 1 say.

"Then go ahead!" Mista confirmed. Hidden behind their User, Sex Pistols had been deflecting the bullets that were aimed at their master the entire time. However, during the onslaught of bullets, they had managed to grab one of the live ammunition and steadily aimed it. With a mighty kick from all six Pistols, they launched the bullet at the NPC's gun, traveling straight through the barrel and breaking the gun from the inside. Even the NPC was shocked, but was too late to react. Mista had charged in and landed a solid punch to the cowboy's gut.

Silence reverberated across the room, until it was broken by the cries of pain from Mista. "OW, DAMNIT!" he yelled, gripping the hand he used to punch the cowboy. "Forgot that dumb thing was just a toy or something."

However, moments later, the cowboy fell to his knees and gripped his hat, screaming "NOOOO!" Suddenly, the door and window to the bank suddenly flew open as mountains of gold coins erupted from the bank like a waterfall as victorious music played. Players could only watch in awe and disappointment as Mista watched the see of gold fall. He suddenly received a "Congratulations!" notification, with a button to confirm his new gained wealth. Mista pressed the button as the gold faded away into shards and was transported into his account, while the cowboy NPC got up again and twirled his revolver around like nothing had happened, his gun repaired, saying once again "Hey Chickens! Come and get some!" as the starting amount went back to 100,000.

His friends rejoined him at the gate, along with the crowd, to hear what the man had to say. "That was amazing!" Sinon said with shock. "How . . . how did you do that? How did you dodge all those bullets without moving?! And at the end, how did the NPC's gun break?!" Mista was taken aback by all the people wanting to know the same thing. He scratched his face, not knowing what to say.

"Well . . ." he began. "I put all my skill points into LUK and VIT right? So I guess I was just lucky!" The entire crowd, along with his friends, fell flat on their faces and backs, shocked and unbelievably confused by Mista's answer.

"N-nevermind that! Come on, Doppio! Kirito! Sinon! We got equipment to buy!" Mista claimed, grabbing the three players and starting to drag them away from the crowd, before they could answer more questions. However, towards the back of the crowd, one figure had been watching the entire time. He was shrouded in a cloak, steam coming from his mouth, along with deep, red eyes.

"That man . . ." he/she said in a dark voice. "That man . . .is like me."

To Be Continued . . .

There are so many asspules in this anime it's hard to keep track. I hate every second of it.

But first off, that's my explanation of how Doppio came back! Araki said he died back in the colosseum in Bruno's body, but it just felt so sad to throw away such an interesting character who could have contributed so much to the end as well. He's the kind of person that I could see Bruno taking in. But besides that, in my canon, Doppio couldn't have died back there, as Diavolo was using his other half, Epitaph, when fighting Giorno. If Doppio had truly died, I would think that the powers of Epitaph would be gone too. But regardless, Doppio now holds the power of King Crimson, even though it is limited. If I gave him all of the power equal to Diavolo, it would create some problems in how Giorno became the boss.

Secondly, we get to see Sex Pistols again in full force! I'll be using Italics when they're speaking to not confuse the audience when they're talking. I also gave a little bit more design to Number 7 to flesh him out more. I thought his country accent in the Dub was really cool.

Thirdly, our heroes have met Sinon! What will their relationship be like going forward? You'll find out soon enough!

Fifthly, Kirito lost the game while Mista won it! Makes sense, right? It's not like a newbie from a fantasy game will be completely on par with the pros of this game and even better, right? That would be ridiculous! And besides, the only reason why Mista won was because of his Stand! Makes sense?

Sixthly, I made specific builds for each of our characters! Did you know that those stats, LUK and SEN, don't even have descriptions on the SAO/GGO fandom site? That's fucking ridiculous. You're telling me that there's a LUCK factor in a fucking shooting game?! And what the fuck is SENSITIVITY? What the actual hell is this game?!

And seventhly, I'm sure you all noticed that I kept some of the stupid and broken mechancs in this fanfic instead of changing them like I did with SAO or GGO. Why? It's for a couple of reasons. For one, it'll be a main part of the story going forward, even if it's broken. Two, an explanation will be explained further down the road. Three, it's to remind us that this season of SAO was supposed to be BETTER than the last, when the game they're playing in is actually WORSE! And don't get me started with the contrived bullshit for this plot! Jesus!

So yeah, hopefully I'll be able to turn this into a story worth reading, even given the amount of cringe game mechanics. Next time: what type of guns/weapons will our heroes choose? How will they fair in 1v1s? Find out next time!

DID YOU KNOW: Sensibility means the ability to appreciate and respond to complex emotional or aesthetic influences. What the hell is this doing in a Shooter? Who the hell knows.
