"Okay, everyone. Are you all ready for the plan?" Nelly asked.

"Yes!" Both Eve and Millie answered simultaneously.

"Alright, here's the plan," she said, pointing to a chalkboard with the plan drawn out. We wait until Dawn's on her own. That's when we strike. Any questions?"

"Just one," Millie asked as she raised her hand and asked, "Ambushing someone? Easy enough. Bringing her back here? How the heck do we do that?"

"And without someone seeing us?" Eve added. Just then there was a knock at the door. Nelly walked to the door and opened it, revealing Dooley, carrying a sack. She asked her friends, "Does this answer your question?"

"No?"

Nelly groaned. "This," she said as she swapped the sack for a pair of five-dollar bills, "is our plan." She opened the sack and emptied its contents on the floor, a coil of rope and a roll of duct tape.

"Whoa. That rope has gotta be like 100 feet! Must've cost you a fortune!"

"Nope, it was on sale at MallMart," Dooley revealed. "Only cost me like 8 bucks."

"Then why did I pay you TEN?!" Nelly hissed at Dooley, not impressed with the mark-up, being a girl who valued her money.

"Because that's how you make a profit in this business," Dooley told her. "You sell stuff, you ask for more money than what you paid for it. MelonPhones only cost like, a few hundred bucks to make, and yet they charge upwards of a thousand."

"Right… Why are we giving the Melon Company so much money every few years for what, a slightly better camera?" Nelly rolled her eyes as Dooley left, closing the door behind him, and she cleared her throat. "Okay, back to the plan. When the right moment presents itself, throw the sack over her head," she said as she pointed to each step, drawn out on a nearby chalkboard. "That's the easy part.

"The hard part is bringing her back here. We're only 12, so a van is out of the question. We'll have to carry her by hand. The average 12-year-old girl weighs around 90 pounds. And we're not talking just 90 pounds of dead weight. Chances are she'll be trying to struggle to escape the sack. Unless we all work together, either we'll spend all night just getting her here, or she'll escape, which means she tells her parents, and then we have to explain ourselves to the police. Any more questions?"

Eve raised her hand, prompting Nelly to ask, "Yes, Eve?"

"Where'd you get the chalkboard? And are you sure we can trust that Dooley guy? He's pretty close friends with the quads!"

"Irrelevant. That only means they get freebies off him. He'll get anything for anyone if they're willing to make a fair trade." After Nelly finished explaining herself to Eve, she noticed Millie's hand rising.

"I found the chalkboard in the attic!" Nelly said in an exasperated tone, as Millie lowered her hand. "Thank you!" she said.

"Now, are you both ready for a stakeout?" Nelly asked, which was met with two yells of "Yeah!" as they left Nelly's room and ran downstairs.

"Can we take some snacks, Nelly?" Millie asked.

"Sure. Who knows how long you'll be waiting," Nelly answered as they took a detour into her kitchen and raided her fridge, stuffing various snacks including chips, candy bars, cookies, fruits, and peanuts into the sack. "Just don't get distracted on the stakeout!" Nelly told them as they walked out the front door.

The War Pigs had set up camp on a rooftop down the street from Get Sporty to keep an eye out for their target. For the first several minutes, they would all look at the same time, only to get bored quickly after several minutes of no Dawn sightings. They agreed to take turns looking for her, but Eve and Millie did not agree on who would take the first shift.
They argued until Nelly noticed Dawn out of the corner of her eye. "Shut up and look," she barked, pointing in the direction of Get Sporty, for Dawn had just exited.

The War Pigs used the fire escape to climb back down to the ground the same way they got on the roof and hid in an alleyway.

"So what's the plan-" Millie asked, only to be interrupted by Nelly hissing, "Quiet, or she'll hear!" She waited for Dawn to pass, then put a quarter near the street. Sure enough, Dawn noticed it out of the corner of her eye and bent down to pick it up as Nelly tore a strip of duct tape off the roll and handed it to Eve. As soon as Dawn was back up, she heard a voice from behind her yell, "Go!"

Before Dawn could even react, she felt her arms being grabbed and a strip of duct tape being pressed to her mouth. Her arms were then pulled behind her back and she felt duct tape being wrapped around her wrists and torso, binding her hands and arms in place before the world around her went dark as she attempted to yell out in confusion, but not much noise got through her duct tape gag.

Unbeknownst to the War Pigs, Mae witnessed the whole situation unfold from a few blocks away. She panicked and hid in a nearby alleyway to call the police, but her phone would not turn on. Much to her horror, it was out of battery.

Author's Note:

Welcome back! It's about time I gave you all some drama!
This is the 5th story on this website that involves Dawn getting kidnapped, so I kind of feel a little bad for her. (You get a brownie point if you can name the other four in a review!)

Anyways, I'm sure Dawn's gonna be alright. Expect Part 4 within the coming weeks!
