"Yakko, is everything OK?" asked a weak sounding voice.
The eldest Warner sibling turned to see Dot, who was wrapped up in a blanket, with only her spotted face peeking out.
"Dot, what are you doing out of bed?
You need your rest," said Yakko, as he guided his sister back to her bed.
As Yakko was getting Dot settled back into bed, Wakko asked, "What did you see outside?"
"T.P. is keeping us quarintine in the water tower, because of Dot's chicken pox," Yakko answered.
But the two of us already had the chicken pox.
Dr. Scratchansniff even told us we can't catch it again."
"I know I know.
But Plotzy isn't a fan of germs."
Just then, the Bugs Bunny phone rang, and Yakko went to answer the call.
" 'Ello.
Hey Scratchy, we were just about to call you.
Yeah other than being very itchy, and sleepy, Dot's holding up.
She was able to keep down soup and ginger ale.
We uh have a bit of a problem though with Plotz-o.
You knew?
You're going to talk him out of the wooden slats?"
Well, alright, if you say so.
OK then.
Looks like we better get use to it until Dot feels better.
OK then, good-bye."
Yakko hung up the phone.
"So, what was that all about?" asked Wakko.
"We've gotta stay in the tower until Dot is compeletly cure of chicken pox," Yakko replied.
"What if Dot needs medicine?
What if we need more groceries?"
"Relax, if we need anything, Hello Nurse can bring it to us.
Right now, the important thing is to get Dot better."
"Agree.
In a way it's a good thing.
We can take turns taking care of her and not having to worry about going out and leaving her."
"Right."
"Yakko, do you know where the calimine lotion is?" Dot called out.
"Be right there sis," Yakko replied.
Despite the situation, the Warners managed to cope with being quarintine.
The rest of the evening went quiet.
Monday was uneventful as well.
Tuesday, however, the bottle of calimine lotion was empty, plus Dot was running low on ginger ale, soup and crackers.
The only foods, along with cola, toast and eggs that didn't upset her stomach.
Yakko called Dr. Scratchansniff to ask if Hello Nurse can pick up a few items for them at the store.
When the doctor asked where should she put the groceries, Yakko replied, at the bottom of the water tower.
Once again, the trampoline came in handy, as Wakko placed it in front of the tower.
The trick of the plan was for him to climb down the stairs, and 'delivered' the groceries up to Yakko, by bouncing up and down on the trampoline.
When Wakko, was about to climb up to the tower, he noticed Ralph the guard eating a mega scoop icecream cone.
"Hey Ralph! where did you get that icecream?" the middle Warner sibling asked.
"Duh, the freezers in the cafe brokes downs and theys giving us free icescreams," the guard replied.
"Free icecream?!" excalimed Wakko, who rushed up to the tower and told his siblings the big news.
"That's great Wakko, but we can't leave Dot alone," Yakko pointed out.
"That's OK Yakko, I'm actually feeling better than I've had the last few days.
I can stay by myself for a bit, and keep an eye out for Plotzy and Ralph, if you can get me a bowl of strawberry with sprinkles and chocolate syrup please," said Dot, who seemed to be getting her appitie back.
"Coming right up, sister sibling," said Yakko, as he and Wakko dashed out of the tower for the icecream.
"I hope they got peanutbutter chocolate," said Yakko, as he and Wakko, who said, "I'm having one scoop of every flavor with the works," as they made their way to the cafe.
"Be sure to save some strawberry and toppings for Dot," the eldest Warner sibling pointed out.
The two were inches away from the studio cafe when they heard a voice call out, "HALT!"
Both Yakko and Wakko turned around, only to have a net drop onto them.
"Duh, yous two knows the rules.
Nos leavings the tower," said Ralph, as he picked the net, holding the Warner Brothers, while balancing his cone in the other hand.
"What happened? Dot asked.
"Ralph stopped us," Yakko answered.
He grabbed us before we reached the cafe," Wakko added.
"Sorry we couldn't get any icecream sis."
That's OK, at least you tried.
I just feel bad you got caught," said Dot.
At that moment, the three of them heard a sound.
"What's that?" asked Wakko.
"I'm going to check it out," said Yakko.
"Please be careful," Dot warned.
Like he did before, Yakko tried to open the tower door, but it was stuck.
He struggled, but it was no use.
"Hey, what's going?!" Yakko yelled out.
"We warned you about leaving the tower, but you disobeyed!" Mr. Plotz yelled from behind the door, over the sound of Ralph the guard's hammering of wooden plats to the tower's door.
"Come on T.P., you can't be serious!"
"Oh I am!
And by the way, I took the liberty of letting everyone know that your party has been canceled."
"But we didn't cancel our party!" Wakko yelled back.
"I know, I did it for you!"
"I gotta get out there and talk some sense into T.P." said Yakko.
"I'll get the trampoline and open the roof," said Wakko.
He then realized something.
"Oh no!" spoke Wakko.
"What's wrong?" asked Yakko.
"I forgot I left the trampoline outside, when I picked up the groceries!"
"That means we're stuck in the tower," concluded Dot.
"Looks that way," Yakko answered.
This is all my fault.
It's my fault I got the chicken pox.
It's my fault that our party got canceled.
And it's my fault we're stuck in the tower.
I'm going back to bed," sighed Dot.
Seeing their sister this way broke Yakko and Wakko's hearts.
They were not use to the usually smily, perky Dot so down.
While she seemed to be looking better, as Dot wasn't as spotty, or feverish as she was, this was very down by the situation she had witnessed.
"Poor Dot.
She's really upset by this," said Wakko.
"Yeah, and it's terrible that's she's blamming herself for what's going on.
I wish there was something we can do to cheer her up," said Yakko.
Suddenly, an idea popped into his head.
"Brother sibling, I think I have a plan," said Yakko, with a huge smile on his face.
"What is it?" said Wakko.
Yakko whispered something into Wakko's ear, causing him to smile as well.
"I think that's a great idea," he said.
"Well, what are we waiting for?
Let's get to work," said Yakko.
And that's exactly what the two of them did.
