Riley: MAYAAAA!!!
Maya: What Riley???
Riley: There's a spider.
Maya: Riley, it's like the size of a rice grain.
Riley: But I can see it clearly from far away.
(Maya picks up the spider and lets it out the room)
Riley: Boohoo, so what was that all about?
Maya: He asked me to go out to lunch.
Riley: Really??? Yayyy!!
Maya: It's just lunch Riles.
Riley: What about Josh?
Maya: So I was thinking we could maybe keep this from Josh...
Riley: Why?
Maya: I don't want him to make a big deal out of it you know? We're playing the long game and have been for years now one day he'll be ready for me but that day is clearly not today or yesterday or tomorrow.
Riley: I won't tell him, but remember he has eyes and ears everywhere.
Maya: I know, goodnight.
Riley: Goodnight peaches
Maya: Riley?
(no answer)
Maya: Riley? Are you up?
(still no answer, she gets up to see that Riley isn't in her bed)
Maya: Where could she have possibly gone?
Maya: Riley where are you?
Riley: Lucas and I are goingto visit his Pappy Joe, he's only staying for one day and we wanted to say hi.
Maya: Just be safe.
Riley: I will and you too.
Maya: Well I guess since I have time i could paint.
(Sam knocks at the door)
Sam: Hey I know I'm late, I just got so caught up.
(the door swings open)
Maya: I did too.
Sam: What's all over you? Is that paint? You paint?
Maya: Paint, yes and yes.
Sam: Can I see?
Maya: Yeah sure close the door behind you.
Sam: Woah, this is beautiful.
Maya: It's just the sky during a sunset.
Sam: But you made it look so realistic and perfect.
Maya: Thank you. It shouldn't take me too long to get ready just like 30 minutes at most.
Sam: We can just stay here, I'd like to watch you finish it.
Maya: Oh okay, well I just have to let it dry and then add clouds.
Sam: What do you want to do in the meantime?
Maya: We could watch a movie.
Sam: Yeah, I'd be down for that. Which bed is yours?
Maya: Seriously?
Sam: I'll guess it's not the one with sparkles.
Maya: You guessed right!
(they start watching the movie and 30 minutes later the door shoots open)
Josh: Maya.
(he walks in and sees them sitting on her bed)
Josh: Oh, am I interrupting something?
Maya: Oh Josh Oh my god, Hi. You're here, what are you doing here?
Josh: I came to ask you on a date but you're clearly busy.
Maya: Oh no, this isn't a date we were just waiting for my paint to dry.
Sam: Yeah, no trouble man I can go.
Josh: Okay, well i'll be back in an hour. I have to go get something.
Maya: See you later.
(he leaves)
Sam: Well that was awkward.
Maya: I'm sorry about that. I'll see you later?
Sam: Sure, just let me know.
Maya: Where is Josh? This dress itches?
Riley: You look beautiful peaches.
(knock at the door)
Riley: Hi Jos—
Maya: What is it?
Riley: It's just Farkle.
Farkle: This is your first official date with Josh I couldn't miss it.
(Lucas comes from down the hall out of breathe)
Lucas: Guys we have to go.
Riley: Why?
Maya: Did something happen?
Farkle: Speak now!!
Lucas: Riley, I'm sorry but Auggie is missing.
Riley: WHAT!
