This chapter is quite small, I'm afraid. I did try for something longer, but my Muse insisted that this stand alone. On the plus side I have a head start on the next chapter.

Draco entered the Room of Requirement to find the red head already there, sitting on the couch pouring over papers that were scattered atop the coffee table. The boy didn't bother to look up as he said, "About time, Malfoy. I have an idea of what to do with Dumbledore."

"I assumed as much, considering the little note you left me in potions today. Also, you should make sure you know who you're talking to before you start throwing my name around. What if I'd been Potter or Granger?" Draco snarked.

"I knew it was you," the other boy responded, gesturing lazily to the Marauder's Map which was laid out on the table amongst the mess.

Draco just rolled his eyes and flopped down onto the couch. "Ok, so what have you got?"

" Well, do you think you can move the vanishing cabinet to a different location?" Ron asked.

"Technically it can be done, but I'm pretty sure someone would notice us moving something that large through the halls of Hogwarts. We can't exactly throw the invisibility cloak over it and hope for the best," Draco replied

"Not that cabinet, you git," Ron scowled at the other boy. "The one you bought, its twin. Can it be moved?"

Draco shrugged, "I don't see why not. What do you have in mind?"

Ron gestured to a set of maps on the table. "I'm thinking we set it up here, right outside the apparition wards."

Draco sat up and looked over the maps with interest. "But what would stop Dumbledore from just apparating away?"

"We set up our own wards around the cabinet. That way any "witnesses" can easily get there and leave, but it'll prevent Dumbledore from escaping," the ginger explained.

"So, how do we get him into the cabinet in the first place?"

"I haven't gotten that one sorted yet, but if he believed a student was in danger, I don't think it would be too hard. He's confident," Ron continued. "And arrogant. He won't expect a lone student to harm him. We just get him through and kill him before he realizes he's been had. We'll obviously need to plan it carefully, but we still have time for that. The cabinet isn't even functional yet."

"Don't remind me," groaned the blond. "So, the Forbidden Forest?"

"Yeah, it's close so neither of us would need to travel far to set it up. It's far enough away that it's unlikely that anyone would interfere, yet still close enough that the dark mark would be visible from the school after we're done," the boy said leaning back with a satisfied grin.

Draco nodded his head as he examined the location that Ron had picked out. "This might work," he whispered. He looked over to Ron, and smiled. "I think we have a plan."

Ron smiled back, "We have a plan."
