Author's Notes: The story will be written with the future and past scenes. Scenes of the desolate future and the changing past.
"Something is not right," Davina mutters to herself as she stares at the ceiling of her old room in the Church attic. "How did I - Oh...OH! It worked! My consciousness somehow travelled back in - "
"Travelled back in what? Is there something wrong?" a voice suddenly interrupted Davina and she stared at the familiar figure standing close to her bed.
"You! What are you doing up here?!" Davina asked the Original, who was holding a violin in his hand.
"What do you mean 'what am I doing up here'? Don't you recall? I am trapped here with you," Elijah said with a confused expression on his face.
"Oh," She just said. "I remember now... This is after the 22nd Dauphine Music Festival, right?"
"Yes? If you are asking me if you went to the festival, you did and met your boy Timothy. Although it didn't go as you imagine it would be considering that you just met my brother as well."
"Klaus?" Davina's heart suddenly lurched when she said the name.
She remembered Klaus and their time together in the future and it felt like she had been gutted when she realized that she might never share the same sentiments that they had for each other in this timeline. Perhaps never will.
Will Klaus remember me, I wonder? Considering that I had anchored myself to him when my consciousness transversed through time. She thought. Perhaps I shouldn't get my hopes up or I will just suffer another heartbreak if I do.
"I think it's about time I return you back to your brother, dear Elijah," Davina suddenly decided as she sat up from bed to fully face Klaus' older brother.
"What do you mean by that Davina?" Elijah asked.
"As I said, I'm going to let you go and return you to your beloved brother Klaus," She told him.
"Why now though?" The Original said.
"I have no time to explain but it's important that your brother and I come into an accord soon. That's my top priority now." Davina said to him.
"Davina...What's your reason for wanting a truce with my brother?"
"All will be explained, Elijah, I promise. But right now, you and I need to leave this attic before Marcel comes in to check on me."
"Perhaps you can explain to me along the way why you change your mind,"
"Perhaps," Davina said without promising anything else.

"Stay here and let me speak to my brother first, Davina." Elijah said to her the moment they arrived at the old Mayor's Plantation where the Originals had taken residence.
"Alright." She said to him. "Just tell him that I am betraying Marcel and I will help him take back New Orleans."
"As you wish," He said to her. "I will return for you when my brother becomes amenable to your proposition."
Davina just nodded her head and watched as Elijah zipped away to meet his brother who had just stepped out of the parlor. She felt her throat tightened when Klaus briefly glanced in her direction before the Originals vamp speed away to speak alone.
She had never been to this place where the Originals had taken residence before. The only place she had met them in was the Abbatoir and that was when Klaus and his siblings had started living there when Marcel was defeated.
She didn't know how Klaus would react to her being there. However, she knew that this old Klaus would be far too happy to finally have her at his side against Marcel.
As Davina walked over to touch a porcelain ornament absently, her mind wandered back to the last time she had spoken to Klaus, her lover in the future.
"I hope that there is a way for me to remember while you are back in time…" Klaus had said to her while he had taken her into his arms.
"I hope so too…I wish to have something like this in the past, but I know we can't have everything we want…I know I can't have you...because you were different then." Davina had replied.
"But what if I remember everything Davina? What if I remember our future together?"
"Then, we will have the chance to be together,"
"Davina?" a voice said from behind her and she felt her insides turned to mush when she realized who had spoken.
It was Klaus.
Klaus Mikaelson was speaking to her in such a way that was achingly familiar.
Deep inside her, there was an urge to run straight into his arms. This need was overwhelming like her wished for him to remember the future. To have memories of the time they had of each other in the future so that she would not be alone pining after him and wanting his embrace once more.
"Hello, Klaus…" She said as she slowly turned to look at him.
The moment she did she saw the obvious confusion in his face when he regarded her and she wondered what was causing the confusion.
"Why the sudden change of heart, Davina? Was it due to our little tete a tete at St. Anne's Church with your beloved Timothy or is it due to something else?" Klaus asked her and Davina felt only disappointment when she realized that Klaus did not have memories of their future together.
He doesn't have the memories of his future self. She thought in sadness. He doesn't remember what we were at all.
Despite the sudden crushing despair, she still hoped for Klaus to regain the memories of them someday. Not at the moment, but perhaps when she had assimilated herself in the past.
Meanwhile, Elijah stood beside Klaus and silently observed their interaction. Ready to intervene when this meeting turned on the wayside.
"Does it really matter what my reasons are? I thought the opinions of seventeen year old girls don't matter to you so long as you get what you want. Me at the palm of your hands," Davina asked as she strode towards him, completely unafraid.
She noted the way Elijah tensed from beside Klaus and decided to ignore it.
Davina was not there to fight him. She was there to offer a solution to Klaus. They needed to work together to defeat a common enemy. The Hollow.
They needed to destroy the Hollow before it could resurrect again.
"Not true. It does matter to me what your thoughts are, love, especially where Marcel is concerned and your revenge on the witches." Klaus said, smiling at her.
Gods, I want to kiss him, but I can't do anything about it at all... if I do, he is going to wonder what has taken over my senses. She thought as she came to a halt in front of him. Ugh, this is going to be a pain. Trying to pretend that I'm not in love with him.
