Chapter 4
I hear someone open the door. Not saying a word. SHIT! Okay breathe, breathe. Grab the prosthetic and throw it, leap, attack. Open your eyes in 3...2
"A very good morning to you sir." Belfast says
I exhale and chuckle "You scared the hell out of me Belfast. Good morning. What's the first order of business?"
"First, we'll get you some breakfast with Moore, Dido, Sheffield, Warspite, Houston, and Edinburgh. Since you want to work with Dido we had to make a couple
of adjustments to the staff. After that meeting with the Royal Navy girls, then Enterprise and finally the girls from the Eagle Union. Then the rest of the
day is yours. Explore the base with Warspite, Dido, and Sheffield." She reports.
"Well this is going to be action packed. Do we have a gym here?" I ask.
"We do it's next door." She says confused.
"Time for a work out then I'll grab something afterwards."
I put my leg on and brought my PT uniform into the bathroom. I put on my Warfighter mix playlist and get ready. I look down, I doubt I'll ever get used to seeing that freakin' thing. I finish getting ready and it's time to punish myself a bit more. I put my headphones in and walk to the gym. Some of the girls can't help but stare. I feel it, it's like a phantom pain that I can't shake. It doesn't matter if I kept the pain killers, they only take away the physical pain. I do my work out and it's now 0715, shower 10 mikes, eat 15 mikes, making it...0740 then the meet and greet.
"Hey Sullivan you good?" Moore asks.
"Yeah just a little work out what time do you want to do the meet and greet?" I ask.
"Up to you sir. Did you eat yet?" He asks
"Nope, just got done with my work out about to hop in the shower then eat something real quick. Ask Belfast or Sheffield when they can get everyone ready."
"Affirmative sir. But a weird question I just thought of, where are the other Commanders and their liaisons?" He asks.
This catches me off guard I figured he knew. Something is off, no one has even brought up the other commanders, let alone liaisons. Well, not since the big join us or 'F' off brief.
"I have no idea, do you think they were attacked or something?" I ask.
"I don't know." He says
"Keep your eyes peeled I'll ask our superiors. Something is off, I know the British chain of command was attacked and killed, but the others were supposed to be here weren't they?" I ask and I bring more questions than answers. "Let me shower and everything lets me get through this introduction then we will worry about the rest. Act like nothing's wrong and that everything is under control."
"Oh so like every day?" He asks sarcastically.
We share a quick laugh and we continue on our routines. The shower feels great, perfect water pressure, temperature, everything! All that's left is to shave get dressed, eat and then link up with the Warspite and Moore gang.
"Good morning...wait are you the new commander?" A tough looking blonde girl asks me.
"Yes Ma'am. Lieutenant Sullivan at your service." I say while reaching out my hand.
She meets my hand shake. "USS Nevada nice to meet you commander." She says while smiling.
"Thank you, what's on the menu today?" I ask
"Corned beef hash, bacon, croissants, and donuts."
"You sure do know the way to a man's heart. I'm a sucker for corned beef hash though. Could I get that with the bacon please?" I ask
She becomes flushed and starts putting the meal together for me behind the sneeze guard.
"Here you go." as she hands me my breakfast.
I nod at her with a big smile. "Thank you so much."
I walk away to find a seat at an empty table. I find one in the far right corner. I sit in the middle since I don't see anyone here I recognize. I dig in and everything is so good. Made to perfection, maybe this deployment won't be so bad. It surely has it's mystery but at least the food is phenomenal...not to mention some of the girls are cute. I look up after I'm finished and as I go to put the tray in a dirty pile, I turn around and see an absolutely stunning woman. Her eyes are a beautiful shade of blue, she is wearing a short shirt that's primarily white and blue with a brilliant gold trim along some of the edges. Her hair is a beautiful brown, she's intoxicating.
"Commander?" a light british accented woman says
I snap out of it. "Yes?"
"It's time for your speech before your meet and greet. You also have a radio hail coming in from the Admiral. He said it's urgent." Belfast says.
"Well that doesn't sound too good. I'll take the radio hail first." I said.
"Sounds good do you have your speech figured out?" She asks.
Well I'm going to wing it so screw it I guess I do. "I sure do!" I said.
I head to my office to take the radio hail. I walk into Moore's office. Him and Houston are having a good conversation. She seems nice. I signal them both to
follow me with my head low. To show Moore the situation ain't good.
"What's going on sir?" They both say.
"Not sure. The Admiral is hailing us."
They look at each other and we walk into the office where Dido, Sheffield, and Warspite have gathered. They look at us as we enter, they look worried.
"Good morning everyone. Even if shits hitting the fan we are going to be fine." I say in a calm voice.
I pick up the radio.
"Azur Lane six to Main 6, ready to receive." I say.
"There's been a major attack on the German - Japanese joint task force convoy. Both ships carrying the commanders and liasons have been sunk and lost with
all hands. The Russians have decided to take their ships back and avoid more casualties. You are officially on your own."
I take my hat off and throw it at the wall. They will pay for every casualty of this war, by gallons of their blood.
"Roger. Unofficially?"
"I'm sorry. I hope the both of you wrote your wills." He says
"Roger, what are my orders now?" I ask.
"Win the damn war or die trying." Main 6 commands.
"I wouldn't want it any other way. Azur Lane 6 out." I said.
I exhale, they will pay. I will avenge their deaths and not let it be in vain. I sweep my hair and turn around.
"Well it's officially hit the fan. Questions?"
"Sir, are we the only two coming until the end?" Moore asks.
"Most likely but that just means we get to have all the fun. Fear not, we will make them pay." I say.
One of the girls starts crying. I think that's Dido she walks out of the room. Note to self: do not let her be in my office when I'm either losing it or its
hitting the fan.
"Any other questions? Comments? Concerns?" I ask.
The room is silent.
"Alright now it's time to do the meet and greet someone get Belfast on the horn let her know we are ready and to gather everyone regardless of countries of
origin. I'm going to go speak to Dido." I say.
I walk out and go to find her. She's against the wall in a ball sobbing. She clenches her doll. I give her a pat on the head.
"Get up." I tell her softly.
She stands up and I open my arms. She definitely needs a hug. This whole situation has obviously affected her to her core. She's truly shaken up. I don't blame her, multiple people dying in such a short time will affect anyone. She comes forward into my arms still clenching her doll with all her strength. I wrap my arms around her and slowly run my hands down her hair.
"Don't worry, I will protect every single one of you. There will not be another casualty under my command." I whisper to her.
She cries into my shoulder and wraps her arms around me.
"Sir Belfast says she'll have everyone in the plaza in about 10 to 15 minutes." Sheffield reports.
"Thank you Sheffield." I say.
She bows and leaves.
"Dido, I want you to take a breath. I will protect you regardless of circumstances. I promise." I whisper to her.
I let go and give her a few pats on the head. I go back into my office and pick up my hat and put it on.
"Alright everyone plaza 10 to 15 minutes roll out. Moore stayed here with me." I say.
"Yes sir!" They say collectively
Moore and I stare at each other knowing how FUBAR the situation has become. This went from not being all that bad to worst case scenario in a short amount of time. The door closes, I walk behind my desk and pull out a drawer and open up the desk. I pull the ring case out and put it on my desk.
"Did you get one of these too?" I ask.
"Yeah. Permission to speak freely, sir?" He asks.
"Of course, I need your input. No need to ask." I say calmly
"What the hell is going on sir?"
"The rings or the damn shit show we're involved in?" I ask
"We'll answer both eventually. Until then let's just enjoy this assignment."
I chuckle a bit and put my hand on his shoulder.
"First it makes them fight harder or something. Second, we fight to the death and try to give the world some hope. But, before we do that we have to meet everyone. I hope you're good with names because I sure as hell ain't. We have to get there in about 10 minutes before we go, I need to show you a crate that I had brought in here when we got off the ship."
He gives me a confused look. I signal him to follow me. I go to the closet that's in my office. I pop open the box in my closet. 2 M4A1's with ACOG sights and a 40 Mike Mike freedom launcher. The Magazines neatly stacked and two boxes of the 40s.
"Step one of entering a warzone whether active or inactive. Come armed." I say.
"Well what the hell are the other steps?" He asks with a slight panic in his voice.
"Step 2: shoot the enemy. Step 3 repeat step 2. Step 4 fight until the battle is over or until you're dead. Never give up." I said
He releases an exasperated sigh. "Fair enough man."
"Alright let's go get the meet and greet over with." I put everything back.
I hope I never need to use it or the gear that comes with it. It all brings back the bad memories. But I would much rather have it and not need it than need it and not have it. We head out to the meeting area, and I have not seen so many girls in one place at any given time, then it feels like there's just one. It made the room seem like the lights went out, and there she was the only one there. She turned her head to look at me and I snapped out of it quickly. SHIT I THINK SHE SAW ME! I quickly averted my gaze and looked at the...shit there's nothing there in her direction...uhhhh SMILE AND WAVE YOU IDIOT! I picked up my hand and waved in what had to have been the most awkward thing I have ever done in my life. I was quickly pulled away by Moore.
"Hey you good sir?" He whispers.
"Yeah sorry. I think I just saw the most beautiful woman ever." I whisper back
He slaps the back of my head.
"Thanks I needed that." I said.
She giggles with the blonde girl next to her who is dressed exactly like her.
"Well time to make the speech. I'll go first?" I ask.
"Of course sir." He says
I step on the stage and nod as I walk towards the maids and secretaries. Belfast grabs the microphone.
"Good morning ladies! We are gathered here today to welcome our new commander and Senior Chief Petty Officer. Show him the good old Royal Navy welcome." She says.
They applaud and I walk to the podium and pick up the microphone.
"Good morning everyone it's so great to see so many smiling faces. I can't wait to meet each and everyone single one of you. But I have some bad news before we get into today's festivities. We have just received a message that the other commanders that were going to take care of the other Azur Lane camps were just attacked. The commanders and their liaisons did not make it, there were no other casualties. The Northern Parliament will not be joining us. So Moore and I are the only ones that will be here. But fear not, we may have lost a battle but we will push those siren assholes back to wherever the hell they came from the ones that refuse to do so..." I look around the room. "We will personally send to hell. With that being said I will never accept defeat in this war and those that want to quit will have to convince me that it is necessary. Spoiler alert it won't. We all need to take a knee every once in a while and I
understand that. Weekends you will have off unless there is a threat of an attack or you're on guard duty which you will be compensated with a day off. Are there any questions for me?" I ask.
I take a look around the room and I don't see any hands up. All I see are faces filled with hope.
"Thank you for your time everyone. Now I would like to introduce you to my liason. SCPO Moore." I say and walk to the back.
"Well I think he covered just about everything. I'm Senior Chief Petty Officer Moore and it is very nice to meet all of you! Alright that's all I got. Any questions?" He asks.
No one raises their hands or anything. We walk off the stage and go into the group. Most of them talk to Moore. A few people want to talk to me. But then the woman I awkwardly waved to earlier approaches me. I immediately start to sweat and like a bumbling fool...
"Hu...Hi nice to meet you!" I say
Oh my God I'm going to blow this already.
"Hi i'm Repulse. It's nice to meet you!" She says in a soft voice.
Her voice is enough to make my heart melt. I have no idea what to say. She seems so perfect...and I'm so broken. Okay, okay, act like you don't have a chance.
"Repulse? That's a beautiful name." I say.
She blushes a little bit.
"T-Thank you. May I ask, could you tell me more about you?" She asks
"Of course what would you like to know?" I ask.
"Well just a general run down I guess." She says.
"Well, since I was a kid I always wanted to be a soldier. I always wanted to stop bullies but as a kid who was a twig I never could. So when I turned 17 I talked to an Army recruiter and 10 months later when I graduated high school I was in basic training. I went to war for the first time a few years later and I deployed to Afghanistan to attack the people who attacked my people. Then when I came back they gave me a couple weeks with my family and 6 months later I
was right back at it. Did the same thing came back, saw my family and went right back at it. That time was the last and now I'm here about 8 years later." I said.
She looks at me with a confused look.
"Why do humans attack other humans?" She says somewhat flustered.
"Good question. I don't understand it much myself. If only we could just get along it would be great. However, it's just not the world we live in. If you stay neutral people will mistake it for weakness and will attack you just out of pure spite." I try to explain.
"I don't think I'll ever understand it." She says
I nod in agreement.
"Nor will I. But I'll give up my tomorrow if it means that others get one. But what about you? What's your favorite thing to do?" I ask.
"Well I like to have fun whether that's sports, or other games and I do like going to restaurants." She says.
"What kind of food do you like the most if you don't mind me asking?"
"I really like steak to be honest. Anything with a nice view also works." She says.
"I don't know any of the restaurants here. You'll have to show me sometime." I say.
She blushes heavily.
"That sounds really nice. When would you like to go on this date?" She asks.
YES SHE SAID IT I DIDN'T BLOW IT!
"So it's a date now?" I can't help but both blush and grin.
"Oh uh, sorry I kind of just assumed. I didn't mean to..."
"No, it's okay that honestly actually sounds better if that's what you meant." I interrupt.
She smiles and hugs me.
"I can't wait." She whispers.
We hold each other and it genuinely feels perfect. I feel her heart racing. I know she feels the same as I do because I feel like mine is about to explode.
"Have you ever slow danced?" I whisper back.
"No you'll have to teach me." She says.
"Sounds good meet me at my office around 2100. We'll let the stars light our night." I whisper.
We let go of eachother she cleared her throat and I scratched the back of my head. I forgot there were other girls around. A lot of people were staring at us.
Including what I can only assume is her sister who starts walking towards us with a nervous look on her face.
"I'm sorry for my sister's actions. She sometimes doesn't think before she does anything and can be a little quick to the punch. I'm Renown, nice to meet you." Renown says.
"Oh no worries! We uh..."
"We were planning on going on a date!" Repulse says while both blushing and smiling ear to ear.
"Repulse! You just met him and you're already trying to keep him to yourself?" She scolds.
"No seriously. It's my fault. To be completely honest I couldn't keep my eyes off her as soon as I saw her. She seems really nice and I just wanted to get to know her more. So please don't be mad at her, it's my fault." I say
Repulse grabs my hand while we're both looking at her. My heart races and I feel hot in the face. Renown bows.
"Alright then. I'm sorry for jumping to conclusions. But please do meet some of the other royal girls." She says.
Repulse and I nod then she goes with Renown.
"I'll see you at 9." She says while walking away with Renown.
I turn around and a little girl approaches me and smiles brightly.
"Hi commander I'm Matchless it's a pleasure to meet you!" She says energetically
"Matchless? I read about you in one of my reports! Have you seen Jake lately?" I ask, trying to match her energy.
She shakes her head.
"No he must be with his birdie family." She says
I give her a pat on the head and she lights up.
"Don't worry he'll be back sooner or later." I tell her with a smile.
She gets distracted and runs off.
I turn around to see what Moore is up to and he's chatting with a girl who has purple hair and a few others. I get approached by a lot more girls. It's just the normal meet and greet that ensues until I short woman with what I can only guess is a Napoleon complex walks up to me.
"Tally ho commander!" She shouts.
Oh dear God here comes the stereotype.
"Hello ma'am!" I say
"I'm Queen Elizabeth the flagship of the Royal Navy camp. If you ever need to ask about anyone let me know." She says
Here's my chance!
"If it's not too early to ask. Could you tell me about Repulse?" I ask.
She looks at me almost shocked.
"Why her if you don't mind me asking?"
"Well to be completely blunt and honest, I'm going on a date with her later and I just want to make sure I don't say anything she doesn't like or anything
along those lines." I say.
"That was quick. She doesn't really fit in. Just make her feel like she's the only girl in the world. She is very self conscious. She feels like she doesn't belong. Just make her feel included. Is that all?" She asks.
"Yes, ma'am thank you so much!" I say.
The rest of the meet and greet went by without much else happening. I'm so excited about my first date since high school! I'm so excited. I need to get her flowers or something...chocolate maybe? Is that too much should I just...crap I'm extremely unprepared for this. I have so many meet and greets already scheduled...fudge hot pocket!
"That's all for now ladies. Commander Sullivan and Senior Chief Moore need to get back to work now!" Belfast says over the microphone.
I feel a tap on the shoulder so I turn around and there she is. I feel my heart ready to pop.
"Hey beautiful!" I say as I reach for her hand.
"Hey there handsome." She says and reaches for mine.
I kiss her hand and hold it.
"I just wanted to say I'll see you later for our date. I'm really excited!" She says.
"Me too I feel like I'm about to explode with excitement!" I say.
She kisses me on the cheek and runs back to Renown and they walk away. I hold my cheek and freeze.
"Wow sir. I didn't know you were a ladies man." Moore says with slight shock in his voice.
"Neither did I. She kinda just stole my heart though."
He pats me on the back.
"Alright lover boy. We got more work to do. Up next Eagle Union. After that Iron Blood and finally the Sakura Empire camps." He says.
"Oh what joy." I say.
"You sound disappointed sir. You okay?" He asks.
"I'm fine. I just have a date tonight and I really like her. So now that's all I can see. It feels so far away." I say.
"Bro you are a love sick puppy. Come on." He says.
"I know. But it still sucks now. Love at first sight. Jesus help me." I say
He rolls his eyes and pats me on the shoulder.
"On to the next bro." He says
Enterprise walks in and looks around. I wave to get her attention.
"How was the meet and greet?" She asks
"It was perfect." I say
"It wasn't all that bad." Moore says
"Good ready for the next?" She says
"Yeah lets tackle it. Just a heads up though we are now commanding all camps. I think its wise to have liasons for each of the camps. One from Eagle Union, another from Sakura Empire, Iron blood and Royal Navy. What do you think?" I say
"Sounds good. They'll each give you an idea of how to approach the girls of each nation. Very good idea." She says.
"How long until the Eagle Union girls get here?" Moore asks.
"About 20 minutes. Bismarck will be here in 10 and Nagato will be here in 5." She says.
"Anything to be mindful of before they get here?" I ask.
"Yeah don't bring up Pearl Harbor, the atomic bombs, and especially the holocaust...just don't be stupid. Oh and Hood, definitely don't bring up Hood or Ark Royal with Bismarck." She says with a slight chuckle.
"You hear that Moore. Don't be stupid!" I say and we both share a good laugh.
"If you'll excuse me I'm going to go talk to some of the Eagle Union girls. Brief them on the festivities and let them know theres a position open for a secretary position. I'll send one in since Moore already has Houston as his secretary." She says.
"Sounds good thanks Enterprise." I say.
She walks out so Moore and I chit chat before Nagato gets here. We start talking about stories from our old units and what we have when we get home.
"Good morning gentlemen I'm Nagato from Sakura Empire." A short and adorable young woman says
"Good morning ma'am!" We say.
"I heard you were looking for secretaries. I already have two who volunteered, Akagi and Zuikaku. Akagi has asked for you specifically Commander." She says
"Sounds great. I look forward to meeting her." I say.
"I guess that leaves me with Zuikaku. Tell her I can't wait to get to work with her." Moore says.
She bows and we return the gesture.
"I'll let them both know. They will be here shortly to introduce themselves." She says
"Sounds great looking forward to it!" I say
A strong looking woman with blonde hair walks in. She looks a little frightening.
"Looks like Bismarck is here. I'll go let everyone know we are to introduce ourselves after Iron Blood. Thank you for your time." Nagato says.
She walks away and gives a nod to Bismarck. Bismarck proceeds to walk over to us in a cold demeanor.
"Guten Tag Oberleutnant! I'm Bismarck of the Iron Blood. I have assigned Roon and Z23 to you respectively." She says
"Roger sounds good. When do we get to meet them?" I asked
"Soon they should be here in approximately two minutes. Roon you need to watch out for she doesnt know how to have emotions exactly shes a little..." She pauses.
"Confused and possibly violent I'm guessing?" I say
"Yeah pretty much." She says.
Well at least shes honest.
"This should be fun!" I say
She chuckles and nods.
"Good luck here they are!" She says.
A woman wearing all black with red outlines and blonde hair...with red outlines locks eyes with me and immediately I feel a cold feeling lock down my back. I'm both scared and attracted at the same time and it confuses me. Oh, and theres a cute girl next to her and looks just as terrified as I feel.
"Hello commander! You look so cute when you're terrified! I'm Roon." She says with a cold smile and reaches out her hand.
"Nice to meet you Roon. Welcome aboard are you excited for the adventures to come?" I ask.
"Oh yes if someone comes near us without our permission they will be torn apart with red hot rounds." She says
"Well thats reassuring!" I say with slight sarcasm
"Oh it should be! No harm will ever come to you when i'm around." She says while looking through her eye brows.
Well thats it if I don't die from her I don't know what will!
My attention is averted when two...women? fox girl and a woman walk in and one locks eyes with me FUCK AGAIN?! Thats it I am 100% sure I will freakin' die here and OF COURSE SHES LOOKING AT ME! UGH...remain calm! remain calm. The fox girl that looks through me walks towards me.
"Good morning commander, I'm Akagi. I will be your representative for the great Sakura Empire." She says
She then looks at Roon...who is now giving the most psychotic look I have ever seen looking at Akagi.
"Soooo thats Roon she is my Iron Blood secretary." I say trying not to lose my mind that two of the most powerful things that have ever graced this planet are now having a psychotic staring contest with me in the middle.
"Hi." Roon says
"Oh well hello Roon." Akagi says with a slight superiority complex.
Akagi's left ear twitches.
"Is she authorized in this area commander?" Roon says.
"Yes she is don't worry." I say in a slightly shakey voice.
I snap trying to get their attention.
"Enough in fighting you two. We're all on the same team here." I say.
"Yes sir!" They say
"Good now lets prepare for Iron Blood's meet and greet." I say.
They move on and do their own thing and I go to Moore who is chipper about his secretaries.
"How'd it go?" I ask.
"Great how did yours go?" He asks
"I felt like I was in between two nuclear IED's that had a hair pin trigger. I thought I was going to freakin die. It's going to be hard to get them to work together. But, I'll figure it out." I say
"I feel so bad for you." He said.
"Don't it might be entertaining." I say.
Iron blood girls start walking in and everyone gets in a group on stage and we say and do everything we did earlier down to the T. I hop off stage not many flock to me. Nothing happens out of the ordinary, just a typical meet and greet. Until a white haired woman walks up to me. She has, what I can only identify as a catholic school teacher whip.
"Gutentag mein kommandant. I am Koniegsberg I want you to come to me with any problems you may have. I could teach you a thing or two." She says with a sexy grin.
Now what I want to say is probably going to screw up my relationship with Repulse so I'll just keep it cool.
"Thanks I will certainly come to you soon in regards to Roon and Akagi." I say
"Oh boy those two in the same room? I do not envy your position right now." She says.
"What do you mean?" I ask.
"One does not understand to know what restraint is. The other is fed off of obsession." She says.
"Well I definitely want to stay in contact are you near the Missiouri road barracks?" I ask
"Why yes matter of fact I live across the hall." She says with a smile.
Her smile is so devious.
"What else should I do? How do I make myself more available to the other girls here?" I ask
"I would definitely make a Juustagram account. The girls are always on that thing." She says
I nod and pull out my phone and download it and with her guidance make an account and she grabs it and she adds herself. I go to see her screen name...
"Das Teacher?" I ask
She nods and gives me another cheesy smile.
"Well meine Kommandant Auf Wiedersehen!" She says
"Danke schone." I say in horrible pronounciation.
She looks back and gives me the up and down.
The rest of the meet and greet is average until I run into a dark haired female with red highlights.
"Guten tag slave." She says.
"I will not warrant that with a response." I say and walk away.
I spot a woman in all white in the corner. She seems to be deep in thought however I cannot seem to tell if she is depressed or thinking hard.
"Uh, Ma'am are you alright?" I ask
She looks up and nods then gets back to her thoughts I leave her to it however I will certainly ask Bismarck about it later.
"Alright ladies and gentlemen time is up we must let Herr Kommandant meet the ladies of the other camps. Up next Sakura Empire." Roon says over the
microphone.
I walk my way up to the stage and as I'm walking up I feel someone grab my shoulder from behind me. I turn around and Akagi is waiting and looking into my eyes and it feels like shes trying to tear into my soul again like earlier.
"Whether you like it or not I know we belong together." She says in a low voice.
"uhh I'm in a relationship with Repulse but thank you." I said
She lets out a grunt. Then goes to sit down. The Sakura Empire girls walk in and take their seats, which had me off guard in regards to some of them having animal parts that are all different? I shake it off and give the same speech yet again. Then I get off the stage to the meet and greet when I spot a girl with white hair and a white dress. She has her head low in the middle of a circle. I get closer, ready to break things up if need be.
"Wow how pathetic. Get away from us you're fifth carrier division. You're not even close to us." One of the girls says.
I whistle and the group covers their ears. The girl in white looks up having tears in her eyes. I walk up to her.
"Chin up. You will be okay, go to Akagi. Tell her I sent you." I said.
She nods and walks off.
"What are your problems?" I ask
"She is our subordinate." One of the girls says.
"Cool beans, I don't care you are her equal. We are all equal. Go throw out your shitty attitude. If I see this again I will demote all of you to a lower
division. Are we clear?" I growl
"Yes sir." They say
I walk off to go see the girl. Akagi does not look happy. The girl in white is still looking down.
"Alright all taken care of. What is your name?" I ask.
"Shoukaku 5th carrier division." She says in a low voice.
"Nice to meet you Shoukaku. I'm Lieutenant Sullivan. I would like to request your assistance in the command center." I ask.
"It would be an honor sir. What will I do?" She asked.
"Morale management, I know that you know what it feels like to be down in the dumps and I feel that you may know how to improve it around base." I say.
She wipes away her tears and smiles.
"Thank you I wont let you down." She says.
She wraps her arms around me and lets out a light giggle.
"I know you won't." I say.
I feel Akagi's glare searing into my soul. As Shoukaku walks away Akagi taps me on the shoulder. I turn around to see her and the woman who was picking on Shoukaku earlier.
"Why are you being an asshole to my sister?" She asks.
"She was being cruel to Shoukaku and that is completely unacceptable. There is no reason to disrespect a fellow comrade." I say.
"That is still unacceptable to talk down upon a subordinate." she says with a hiss.
"Exactly why I did it. Is Kaga a superior of Shoukaku or not?" I say
"Well she was out of her place." she said.
"So was she and now so are you." I said.
"What do you mean?" She asks with a worried expression.
"I'm no longer in need of your assistance as Sakura Empire liason. Shoukaku will take your place." I said.
She glares at me then Shoukaku. I step in between her and Shoukaku.
"Not in my house. She is mine now. Step off." I say to her in an equal glare.
Akagi walks off in a hiss. She realizes now she came second to someone else.
"Don't worry about her I will personally see to it that you are always safe." I say
She hugs me and kisses me on the cheek.
Finally it is time for the Eagle Union festivities.
Everything goes off without a hitch no added drama or bullying they all get along so well. Essex is a bit creepy if not stalkerish when it comes to Enterprise though but it never bothered Enterprise all that much since she didnt say anything to her or me so I guess thats that and now time to go get some paper work done with the new secretaries maybe make a fun game out of it or something. Meeting so many people in such a short amount of time is so exhausting but damn were they all hot...well except for the kids. I will personally adopt them all, Mutsuki even called me dad so I guess I'm already a father now.
The camp leaders met up with Moore and I after the final festivities.
"Give Moore and I some time to discuss the up and comings in regards to how things will be run in the future dont expect too much to change but I think itll be best for us to really plan our next steps." I said.
They look at eachother and nod.
"We'll give you an hour or so, sound good?" Enterprise said.
Moore and I nod and we head to the office.
