Hello again, and here is chapter 3 of Tartarus Kitchen, I hope you enjoy it.
Recap: Previously, our final 17 chefs took part in a cocktail making relay challenge, and it was the blue team that won, the next service happened, and both teams were a failure, the red team nominated Rainbow Dash and Vinyl, while the blue team nominated Rarity and Bulk, and in the end it was Bulk who was eliminated, after failing the same station twice in a row, only sixteen remaining.
16 Chefs Remaining.
Rarity approached Rainbow Dash when they returned to the dorms.
" Listen darling, I want to apologize for throwing you under the bus like that, it was very uncouth of me", said Rarity.
Instead of saying anything, Rainbow Dash, shrugged it and headed to her room.
Applejack placed a hand on Rarity's shoulder.
" Let her cool off, she'll come around eventually", said Applejack.
The remaining sixteen chefs arrived at the dining room, after a very early wake up call, they arrived where they see about a total of 100 men and women in royal suits.
" What is this a cosplay convention", said Trixie.
" It isn't", said Sunset, recognizing the suits.
Ramsay then approached them.
" They look familiar, do they Sunset, well, after finding out from your principal of this new world in a portal, I looked at these Royal guards, and wondered how they are treated, they wake up in the morning around before Sunrise, arrive at the mess hall at 5 AM, and have breakfast, now you all know why you all have early wake up calls, especially today, your challenge, is a service challenge", said Ramsay.
" Each of you will be assigned to a station to each serve 50 royal guards, the team who is successful wins the challenge", said Ramsay.
And so later on, the royal guards were all seated, while the chefs began prepping.
In the red team we have Fluttershy at the bar doing barista, Rainbow Dash making scrambled eggs, Flash cooking the bacon and sausages, Vinyl on the hash browns, Pinkie Pie on the pancakes, Micro Chips on the boiled and fried eggs, Trixie on the tomatoes and Mushrooms and Zephyr Breeze and the beans and toast.
In the blue team we have Derpy at the bar doing Barista, Rarity making scrambled eggs, Big Mac cooking the bacon and sausages, Maud on the hash browns, Applejack on the Pancakes, Sunset on the boiled and fried eggs, Twilight on the tomatoes and mushrooms and Wallflower on the beans and toast.
The challenge begun and both teams had 50 guards to serve.
First 15 minutes in the challenge, it was slow, but they each managed to serve more than two guards already, the red team serving 3, while the blue team served 4.
The red team still need another 47 more guards to serve, while the blue team only have 46 to go.
15 minutes later, the red team were slowing down while the blue team was picking up the pace, the red team still have 45 more guards to serve, while the blue team only have 41.
During the next half hour, the blue team began slowing down, which opened the door for the red team, and they managed to catch up and overtake the blue team.
After 1 hour of the challenge, the red team only have 36 more guards to serve, while the blue team have 39.
During the next half hour, both teams were at moderate pace.
After 90 minutes into the challenge, the red team still have 29 more guards to serve, while the blue team only have 31.
The next half hour, both teams were picking up the pace, it's has now been two hours into breakfast service, and the red team still needs to serve 20 more guards, while the blue team still need to serve 23 more guards.
The blue team needs to catch up, or they'll lose the challenge.
The next half hour, both teams were at the same pace as one another, soon after two and a half hours, the red team only need 12 more guards to serve, while the blue team only need 15.
The next half hour went by, the red team was slowing down, and the blue team was starting to catch up, after three hours into the challenge, the red team was still 7 guards to serves, while the blue team only needed 8, and were close to overtaking the red team.

Once the royal guards have left Tarturus Kitchen, Ramsay then turned to the two teams.
" Congratulations blue team, after 3 and a half hours, you managed to only just complete service before the red team, you win today's challenge, for your reward, you'll be going on a fun roller coaster ride, the wild blue yonder", said Ramsay, much to the dismay of Rainbow Dash.
" Get on out of here", said Ramsay, the eight chefs did so, meanwhile, Ramsay then turned to the red team.
" Red team, you were so close to winning, but the blue team had the upper hand, tomorrow is the third dinner service, and it's going to be a special one, were going to have VIP's, and a delivery of ingredients is on it's way, you'll all be very busy the whole day, good luck", said Ramsay.
Applejack, Big Mac, Twilight, Sunset, Maud, Derpy, Rarity and Wallflower arrived at the carnival, and looked at the wild blue yonder.
" This is it, you guys ready", said Sunset.
" Between this and Tartarus kitchen, I'd pick this at the moment", said Applejack.
Soon, everyone was strapped on, Sunset and Twilight were in the front cart, Applejack and Rarity were in the second cart, Maud and Big Mac were in the third, while Derpy and Wallflower were in the back.
The carts began moving up the track, and once they've reached the top, they then plummeted downwards, fast, making the eight chefs scream in fear, joy and excitement.
Meanwhile, back in Tartarus kitchen, the eight chefs, Rainbow Dash, Fluttershy, Pinkie Pie, Trixie, Zephyr, Vinyl, Micro Chips and Flash began unloading the truck full of ingredients for tomorrow nights service, well, seven of them were.
" Aren't you gonna help us Trixie", said Fluttershy.
" I'm taking a break, those crates are heavy", said Trixie.
" Hang on how come she gets to have a break, if she's having one, I'm having one", said Rainbow Dash.
" Nobody's taking a break, come on Trixie, you've only carried like two crates", said Flash.
" You know we wouldn't be doing this shit if we had won the challenge", said Rainbow Dash.
" Rainbow Dash, language", said Fluttershy.
" It's the truth, over the past five days we've spent here, we sucked, the only time we had a victory was the signature dish challenge on our first day, our first service cost us Sandalwood, and we lost the second reward challenge on the third challenge, and sucked at the second service last night", said Rainbow Dash.
" It was a miracle all eight of us are still here after that", said Micro Chips.
" And now we lost today, that's four days in total that we've failed to have a single victory, I could've been on that roller coaster by now, if it weren't for you lazy pricks", said Rainbow Dash.
" Oh look who's talking miss 'I dropped a glass last service and suck as a waiter'", said Trixie.
" You want to run that by me again", said Rainbow Dash.
" Rainbow Dash, don't", said Fluttershy.
" No, if she want's a fight, I'll give her one", said Rainbow Dash.
" She's not worth it", said Fluttershy.
" What do you mean I'm not worth it", said Trixie offended.
" Let's all just calm the hell down, fighting is getting us nowhere", said Flash.
" Fine", said Rainbow, walking off.
The chefs began prepping for tonight's service, before service began they lined up, facing Chef Ramsay.
" Tonight is comeback night, and as I mentioned to the red team, we'll be having two VIP's this evening, and I'm sure Sunset would recognize them, Princess Celestia, and Princess Luna, Celestia will be VIP for the red team, while Luna will be VIP for the blue team, also we have another change, the pizza station is shut down and replaced with another station, table-side service, where one chef from each kitchen will make and serve special dishes, the two chefs doing tablesides tonight are Derpy and Zephyr, you were both the kitchen donkeys on opening night, this could be your chance to catch up", said Ramsay.
" Yes Chef", said Derpy.
" Anyway, the Bartenders for this service are Rarity and Micro Chips, and the waiters for this evening are Twilight and Pinkie Pie, the rest of you are doing primary stations, get ready, Derpy, Zephyr, make your way to Dover, he'll demonstrate how to do the tablesides", said Ramsay.
And so, with the remaining ten chefs in their kitchens for the primary stations, they were ready for tonight's service.
In the red kitchen, we have Fluttershy on Appetizers, Flash on Fish, Rainbow Dash on Meat, Trixie on Garnish and Vinyl on Deserts.
In the blue kitchen, we have Wallflower on Appetizers, Applejack on Meat, Maud on Fish, Big Mac on Garnish and Sunset on Deserts.
It was now 7:00 PM, time for the third service to commence.
" Jacques, Open up Tartarus kitchen", said Ramsay.
The kitchen opened, and customers began coming in, In the red kitchen, sitting on the VIP table is Celestia in her human form, with her niece Princess Cadence.
In the blue kitchen, sitting on the VIP tables are Princess Luna, and Princess Twilight Sparkle.
" Wait, Twilight, what are you doing, you're supposed to wait tables, and where are your glasses, hang on", said Ramsay, he then looked at both Twilight's, then turned to Princess Twilight, " You're her counterpart are you".
" Yes I am", said Princess Twilight.
Ramsay then turned to the Blue team.
" First orders for this evening, one halibut, two scallops, one wellington", said Ramsay.
" Yes Chef", said the team.
He then turned to the red kitchen.
" First order, one lamb, one cod, one risotto got it", said Ramsay.
" Yes chef", responded the team.
5 minutes later.
" Trixie, come here", Ramsay said, Trixie did so.
" Only five minutes into service, and already you've f*cked up, what's wrong with this salad you made", said Ramsay, showing Trixie the salad.
" I don't know", said Trixie.
" It isn't dressed, dress it, and then bring it back, salad without dressing, you gotta be kidding me", said Ramsay.
" Thank goodness I didn't bring Flurry Heart over", whispered Cadence to Celestia.
Another Five minutes went by.
" SUNSET, why the fuck are you making a soufle, when one hasn't been ordered yet, F*ck me, you're as bad as Bulk you know that", shouted Ramsay.
" Sorry Chef", said Sunset.
" Wow, didn't know he was that strict", whispered Luna to Twilight.
" We were warned of what we'd see", said Twilight.
15 minutes went by.
Jacques Approached the bar table to speak to Micro.
" You're taking a bit too long Micro, I would appreciate it if you picked up the pace", said Jacques.
" Sorry", said Micro Chips.
Another 15 minutes went by, and Jacques approached Zephyr.
" Come on Zephyr, it doesn't take that long to make a Risotto", said Jacques.
10 minutes later.
" Come here you donkeys", shouted Ramsay at the red table, Fluttershy, Rainbow, Vinyl, Trixie and Flash approached Ramsay.
" Taste that", said Ramsay, referring to the chocolate sauce Vinyl made, the five chefs did so and cringed.
" Not enough sugar, it tastes bitter, seriously Vinyl, you need to make sure everything's good and ready before serving it", said Ramsay.
Vinyl nodded apologetically and went back to her station.
Half an hour later, and Ramsay has just about had enough in the red kitchen.
" All five of you, in the storage room, I like to have a word with you", said Ramsay.
Fluttershy paled knowing she did something.
She along with Pinkie Pie, Rainbow Dash, Flash and Trixie entered the storage room, Ramsay following in after, slamming the door.
" What the F*ck is with you guys, opening night, your team F*cked up, and it sent Sandalwood packing, and then last service you screwed up halfway, and it's a miracle all eight of you are still here and that I sent Bulk packing instead, the reason why you're failing is because you're not focusing, for example Fluttershy just sent me a risotto, and wasn't focusing, otherwise she would know that it's burnt and stuck to the pan, what gives Fluttershy", said Ramsay.
" I'm sorry, I wasn't focusing", said Fluttershy, tears threatening to spill.
" Please not with the waterworks, look, take 5 minutes to relax, and get it together, otherwise what's the point of keeping any of you here longer, the blue team have better chances of getting a back Jacket than you have at the moment", said Ramsay, he then left the storage room, meanwhile Rainbow Dash and Pinkie began consoling Fluttershy.
Meanwhile in the Blue Kitchen, Ramsay then announced the VIP order.
" VIP order, two Risotto, two salad", said Ramsay.
" Yes Chef", said the team.
Once the red team were able to help Fluttershy get it together, the went back to the kitchen and continued cooking.
The time is now 8:35, over halfway through dinner service.
" Come on Big Mac, it's not that difficult to make a salad", said Ramsay.
" Sorry Chef", said Big Mac.
Ramsay then turned to the red kitchen.
" VIP order for the red team, two risotto, two salad", said Ramsay.
" Yes Chef", said the team.
" Pinkie, will you stop drawing pictures on the tickets, I know you like being decorative, but it's getting annoying", said Ramsay.
" Sorry Chef", said Pinkie.
Another 5 minutes went by.
" For f*ck sake Big Mac, you're doing it again, quit slowing the other team down, and make a f*cking salad", said Ramsay.
Meanwhile, Fluttershy sent in a Risotto, hoping it won't be bad, Ramsay sampled it, then served it, much to her relief.
" See Fluttershy, I knew you could do it", said Pinkie.
Time went by and it was now 9:00 PM, only one hour remained until dinner service.
" Flash, why are you doing this, all of you come here", said Ramsay, he then showed the five chefs a salmon Ramsay presented, slamming it on the table.
" You've brought that to the pass, and I thought you'd all learn to stay focused, but apparently not, because if you all were, the salmon wouLDN'T, BE, F*CKING, RAW", Shouted Ramsay, slamming his hand onto the salmon, smashing it, Fluttershy flinched at the table slamming.
" Now, I'm going to give you all one more chance, the next time I get a f*cked up Dish, you're all out of here", said Ramsay.
25 minutes went by, only 35 minutes remained till the end of Dinner Service.
Rarity poured her next beverage in a glass, only to accidentally spill some on her, much to her shock.
" This is horrid, what a mess, I can't do this", said Rarity.
" Relax Rarity, we're nearly finished", said Micro Chips.
" What's happening", said Jacques.
" Rarity had a little spillage", said Micro Chips.
" Well, wipe the table, and there's still enough of the beverage to fill in the glass, quit being over dramatic, please", said Jacques.
" Sorry", said Rarity.
Five minutes go by.
" Applejack, come here", said Ramsay, Applejack did so, hesitantly.
" I asked for a medium rare steak, not a well done steak, and this one is burnt to the side, need I go on", said Ramsay.
" No chef, I'll fire a new one", said Applejack.
" Honestly", said Ramsay.
The remaining half hour went without anymore mistakes, the kitchen was shut down and the customers left, the 16 chefs lined up, facing Ramsay as he stood next to the four princesses.
" That was a more decent service, finally one where neither team is kicked out early, but one of you is to be the winning team, princesses, you four discussed with one another who made the best service, well who was it", said Ramsay.
" We discussed it, and decided, the best team for you third service, is...

.. The blue team", said Celestia.
The blue team cheered as they hugged one another.
" Thank you princesses for your time", said Ramsay.
The four princesses then left, and Ramsay then turned to the red team.
" Well red team, you may have gone through a full service, but you failed to succeed, once again you're up for elimination, and one of you will be going home, head to the dorms and come up with two nominees, who you think are holding you back", said Ramsay.
The eight chefs then made it to the dorms, meanwhile Ramsay then turned to the blue team.
" Blue team, the red team will need you're help, while they're deciding their nominees, you guys decide which one of you should leave the blue team and join the red team, help them get back on track, because after three services in a row, they're failing to live up to my expectations", said Ramsay.
Back in the dorms, the blue team began deciding their nominees.
" Let's narrow it down till we have our two, any deductions", said Pinkie.
" Who's to deduct, Fluttershy messed up on the risotto, Micro's slow on bar service, Vinyl served a bitter Chocolate sauce, and Flash can't even cook a perfect salmon", said Trixie.
" Look who's talking miss ' I can't dress a salad'", said Rainbow Dash.
" So it's between Flash and Fluttershy, one of them served Raw Salmon, the other burnt a risotto", said Micro Chips.
" What about Trixie, she couldn't dress a damn salad", said Rainbow Dash.
" That was just one mistake", said Trixie.
" So was Fluttershy's risotto", said Rainbow Dash.
" It's no use defending her, she's going to be picked anyway", said Flash.
Pinkie Pie, Flash, Trixie, Fluttershy, Rainbow Dash, Vinyl, Micro Chips and Zephyr Breeze stood in line, facing Ramsay.
" Rainbow Dash, who is your first nominee and why", said Ramsay.
" Our first nominee is Flash, after serving under cooked Salmon, that wasn't a good choice", said Rainbow Dash.
" Okay, second nominee and why", said Ramsay.
" Trixie, she has had a nasty attitude ever since she got here, and couldn't make a simple salad properly", said Rainbow Dash.
" Okay, Flash, Trixie, step forward", said Ramsay, the two chefs did so.
" Hang on, there's still one person who should be here, and she knows who she is, and if she had a backbone she'd step forward", said Ramsay.
Sighing, Fluttershy stepped forward next to Trixie and Flash.
" Fluttershy, you know why you're standing there", said Ramsay.
" Yes", said Fluttershy.
" Why should you stay in Tartarus kitchen", said Ramsay.
" It was unforgivable of me with the risotto, I haven't been focusing, and I know I don't deserve one, but I hoped to have another chance", said Fluttershy.
" Flash, why should you stay", said Ramsay.
" I've been put up for nomination twice, I feel like I have a target on my back for making one mistake, I may have failed to cook the salmon, but I have been a great chef the past 6 days, I've even made the best signature dish out of all of us", said Flash.
" Trixie, why should you stay", said Ramsay.
" It's perfectly obvious isn't it, I only made one mistake, but my team nominated me to save someone else, the wise thing to do is to eliminate the most cowardly of the group, and that person is obviously standing close to you, it has been cowardice that been costing us a good service", said Trixie.
" You're right, I know who you mean, this person's stay is long overdue, they've been a real coward, and has let their team down, that person deserves to go home, and it's pretty obvious who the coward is", said Gordon.
Sighing, Fluttershy stepped forward.
" Fluttershy, what are you doing", said Ramsay.
" You said it's time for me to leave, right", said Fluttershy.
" No, I said it's time for the coward of the group to leave because they are dead weight to the team", said Ramsay.
" See", said Trixie, gesturing to Fluttershy.
" Fluttershy, you may be easily startled, and afraid of anything, even your own shadow, but I hear you're great at taming animals, spiders, rats, snakes, bears, shouldn't that also count as the everything you should be afraid of, but not afraid of rodents and reptiles, what I'm saying is, just because you have more fear than everyone else here, does not make you a coward, a true coward would never own up to their mistakes, you proved that, and stepped forward, if you were a coward you wouldn't have done it, plus a true coward would always make phony pathetic excuses and try and throw other people under the bus, and turn their back on their team, and you've also got a bigger backbone than Trixie, you've supported your team till the end, so get back in line", said Ramsay.
Relieved, Fluttershy rejoined her group, leaving Flash and Trixie.
" Flash, there's a reason why you've been put up twice, and between you and Fluttershy, you're the bigger coward, just because you've made the best signature dish, does not mean you're the best of the team, I mean, Zephyr made a shit dish that day, lettuce on a plate, but he's been more of a team player than you ever have, and Trixie, you're also more of a coward than Fluttershy, so what if you made only one mistake, what do you want, a medal, I'm not looking for someone who gloats, I've made my decision", said Ramsay.
" The person, leaving Tartarus kitchen is...

.. Flash", said Ramsay.
Sighing, Flash took off his jacket.
" You started out brilliant, but then that all changed, goodnight", said Ramsay.
" Thanks", said Flash, shaking Ramsay's hand before leaving.
Flash's final comment: I guess I wasn't meant to be a chef, but I'm still proud my myself for making the best signature dish of the group, I had high hopes, but then we plummeted down to rock bottom, and I knew it was a matter of time before I left.
Meanwhile, Ramsay turned to Trixie, " Back in line".
Once Trixie did so, Ramsay then made an announcement.
" While you were discussing your nominees, the blue team decided on which one of them will leave their team to help you out, blue team, who have you decided on", said Ramsay.
" We decided Applejack chef", said Sunset.
" Okay then, Applejack take off your jacket and join your new team, there'll be a red jacket waiting for you tomorrow", said Ramsay.
Once Applejack did so, Ramsay adjourned to meeting and the 15 chefs headed back to their dorms, meanwhile Ramsay headed to his office with Flash's jacket.
Ramsay's final comment, " When Flash Sentry first arrived he made the signature dish of his team, he was at the top of the ranks, but as days went by, he began plummeting down to the bottom".
He then hung the Jacket, officially ending Flash's time on Tartarus kitchen.
16th place: Flash Sentry.

And that's it for now, 1/6 of the chefs are now gone, 15 remain, and Applejack is now a member of the red team, next time 15 will become 14, until next time that's all for now.
