After helping free Sayu, the group used her platinum record to connect Akusuka to Cast Tech and link the city up some more. True to their word, they let Sayu keep control of her district, now free to govern it on her own terms.
However, before they could progress to the next district, they received some troubling news from Kliff. Mayday and Zukes fans were mysteriously disappearing. So, they set out across the city to find them.
"It's not like fans of a rock band to just up and suddenly disappear. Maybe a rival musician is trying to upstage Mayday and Zuke in rock?" Rista asked.
"Don't be ridiculous. It's gotta be some Hired Gun Tatiana called in to take care of 'em." Seiya said. "After dealing with two of her artists, I'd probably do the same."
"I don't think Tatiana would send an assassin. Hopefully, we can figure out who's doing this…" Mirror Match said seeing some commotion in a nearby alley way. "Ah, that must be the source."
"Alright everyone, guards up. We don't know what's waiting down that alley." Ethox said.
The group cautiously walked into the alley to figure out who was there. Eventually, at the end of the alley, they saw a figure dancing as it turned around to reveal itself.
It was a tall and burly green skinned man with his hair in dreadlocks along with tattoos on his arms and legs, and dressed in unique clothing with no shoes.
"Fuyoooh, amacam bro?" The figure said.
"Oh, brother…" Zuke said in shock.
"Um… who's that?" Kazuma asked.
"Eh-eeeeh, got new girls already, bro? So fast! Just how many ladies you picking up nowadays lah huh?" The figure continued in his native tongue. "You must be Mayday, and da Fateberakers."
"You're well informed for a hired assassin." DJ said. "But that's not why you're here is it? Why don't you tell us who you are?"
"Name's DK West! Ewah! Shadow rhythm superguy! Ewah! Past and present extraordinaire! Ewah! And most importantly, I also happen to be Zuke's-" DK West said before being cut off.
"Oh brother-" Zuke said.
"Exactly! Zuke's big brother! Pleased to meet you, Mayday and Fatebreakers." DK West said.
"Oh." Mayday said in surprise. "So this is your brother? How come you don't share his accent?"
"Well I don't know, how come your hair is yellow?!" Zuke countered, annoyed as Mayday gave him a deadpan expression.
"What's that gotta do with-!" Mayday said before Zuke cut her off.
"West, what are you doing here?" Zuke asked.
"Oooh, nothing. Just sharing with the people here what real music sounds like." DK West said.
"Real, music-?" Zuke said before facepalming. "Ugh. Do you really want to do this here?! Now?!"
"So that concludes it. You're the one who's been making Bunk Bed Junction's fans disappear!" Ethox said.
"I get the sense that these two brothers aren't on the best of terms." Le Kraken said.
"Oooh, tell me about it. Zuke is always like this, angry only. I forget his birthday, he angry. I don't answer his messages, he angry. I sold his drumset, he angry. Ey, Zuke, don't be like that lah." DK said.
"You know, mentioning all of that is only making it sound worse for you." Seiya said.
"Regardless, you are interfering with Mayday and Zuke's crusade." Darkness said drawing her sword. "Release their fans, or this will escalate to levels you don't want them to be at!"
"Eeh, relax lady, relaaaax. If Zuke and Mayday want their fans back, it's easy. Show them who the real deal is! Lil' Bro Zuke, face me in… E-E-E-Ewah Rap Battle!" DK west challenged.
"A Rap battle? That's it?" Kazuma asked.
"Trust me on this, Kaz. When it comes to rap battles with this jerk, it gets crazy." Zuke said.
"Hmm… we don't know what he can do when it comes to musical combat. Perhaps we should…" Mirror Match said.
"We accept your challenge!" Megumin posed dramatically and pointed.
"What're you doing?!" Zuke asked, not really liking Megumin's intervention.
"This is destiny, Zuke! It's time you faced your brother in combat and proved once and for all you have surpassed him!" Megumin said, posing.
"Honestly, Zuke, I don't think there's any other way we're gonna stop West from stealing fans." Ultra said.
"Ugh…. fine! Let's get this over with!" Zuke said.
"Ha! Ha! Caya lah!" DK said.

The music started up as a fast paced malayan hip hop beat as the shadowed fans clapped along. Suddenly, Ethox started sinking into his own shadow, along with Megumin.
"Hey, whoa whoa whoa, what's happening?!" Ethox asked.
"Ah! Help! The shadows are claiming us!" Megumin said.
"What the-?!" Kazuma said in shock. "Hey, what's he doing?!"
Ethox and Megumin soon had sunk and fused into their own shadows. Ethox's colored black and white while Megumin's was red. Against their own will, they were then moved along down the alley, which seemed to be longer in perspective then usual as they were guided down to DK West, blocked by red enemies which they had to move around, as the song started up.

Once he'd taken enough damage, West pushed Ethox and Megumin back to the start of the alley path, as Zuke took his turn, the process repeating through each verse.

"Huh… well, I haven't really had an argument with my brother as of yet, so I can't really know what you're going through. All I can say is that I'm sorry you're going through all that." Ethox said.

"In any case, we've cleared up the situation with the disappearing fans." Tanya said. "Which means it's time to move on to the next NSR artist."
