Blue Bloods Season 12-3 - Danny and Maria
With the wedding only 9 days away, Danny and Maria have many things to do before hand to make it happen.
Danny: There are not enough hours in the day to get things done…. I think we both need to call in and take some personal days so that we aren't caught in some major crime that will occupy all of our time.
Maria: won't it raise suspicion if we both call off
Danny: we have no choice… word will spread after we're married, we're past that point of worrying….. do you know anyone in the marriage license … It's been a long time since I did that
Maria: and you think I have….. it's been never for me because of you….
Danny: I'm going to have to watch my choice of words… aren't I…..Let's call off work and we'll go get our blood test and then go to the Marriage License Department together.
Maria: Do you want to come with me to pick out a dress
Danny: Surprise me…. Don't you think your sister would like to go with you… if not Erin and Eddie would love to be with you for that…. That's a girl's thing
Maria: When are we going to talk to Jack and Sean….. they were to be the first now they may be the last….. will they be mad… will they accept me as your wife
Danny: Sean was glad that I brought you at Sunday Dinner…. I'm sure he and Jack have already talked about the possibility…. Why don't we drive up this Saturday and we'll talk to them face to face.
Maria: I don't want this to be a problem
Danny: It won't be…. I know my sons ….. their grown men starting their own lives…. Anyway they both like you. What's important… I love you and I want you to be my wife from here on out.
Maria: The last two nights have been like a dream….. we've been together…. Everything else wasn't that important… now life is starting to take over…. It's starting to make me nervous
Danny: not nervous enough to not want to do it
Maria: Danny I've waited 23 years …. Now I'm going to be with you the rest of my life…. I can handle whatever life throws our way
Danny and Maria get their blood tests which will be forwarded to the Marriage License Department. Next stop Marriage License which they fill out the forms and will be delivered to Father Quinn who will perform the ceremony.
Erin has a pre scheduled meeting with her Father the Commissioner about conflict in a case she has to go to court with.
Abigail: Commissioner….. Erin is here to see you
Frank: Please let her in…. Baker
Erin walks in gives her father a kiss on the cheek
Frank: What did you want to talk to me about
Erin: you know what this is about…. Your officer was to eager to search the car without probable cause…. The evidence is now tainted and can't be used
Frank: The fact that the car's license plates were recorded leaving the scene of the robbery, isn't probable cause….. Erin….. your department spends more time defending criminals than they do the victims…..Danny is right ….. the cops have their hands tied by the rules the prosecutors office keeps imposing
Erin: Dad that's not fair…. Speaking of Danny….. has he talked to you
Frank: Yes…. He and Maria came to the house after you left them
Erin: You should've seen their faces…. Maria is there in his sweets and Danny was getting out of the shower….. they were like two teenagers getting caught… so what do you think
Frank: I think Maria will be good for him….. there is no denying…. She loves him and knows how to control him… Like Pop said how many people can find two people in their lifetime to love them unconditionally. When I asked him if he was doing this out of fear of being alone or love for Maria….. He loves her.
Erin: Maria calls him a choir boy because he wants to get married so as to not to disrespect her…..She said that when Danny loves he loves….. and she had a very satisfied look on her face.
Frank: Pop seems to think the same thing….. Maria is exactly what Danny needs ….. These past 5 years have been very hard on him. We will support them completely
Erin: Now that you know…. I can answer Eddie, she's being calling me to see if I knew anything, since she was there when Maria made Danny take her on a date. Thank God Maria is a Detective….. she fits into our family perfectly.
Frank: This is what you really came here for… you will make the other incident stand...right
Erin: yes, Dad
Erin calls Eddie so as to not keep putting her off, but was surprised as to what Eddie found out
Erin: Hi Eddie, sorry I haven't gotten back with you, but I needed to talk to Dad first
Eddie: That's ok, I got the confirmation I needed…. Danny called Jamie to be his best man… the wedding is a week from this Saturday. Isn't this great… I knew that Maria and Danny had a thing for each other
Erin: they certainly didn't waste anytime…. I'm almost jealous….. their making love every chance they get
Eddie: what's stopping you….. you went away with Jack…. I'm sure you didn't stay in separate rooms…. Stop being afraid of yourself. Maria waited 23 years to get Danny and now she is making the most of it. Even Jamie is reaping the benefits of it.
Erin: now that we're getting another sister…. Lets help Maria pick out her wedding dress… what do you think
Eddie: I just love weddings… you want me to call her or you
Erin: Call me when you pick a time… I'll breakaway
Eddie calls Maria
Eddie: Congratulations Sister in Law… I just knew the other day that you were going to make something happen between you and Danny…. Erin and I were talking, since everything is going so fast….. we both would love to be with you to pick out a wedding dress if you haven't…. The wedding is only 9 days away
Maria: Danny and I were just talking about that… he wants to be surprised and he even told told me that you and Erin would love it…. Since this is a girl thing… we took the day off getting our blood test and marriage license…
Eddie: How about I call my bridal shop and we will meet there since my shift is almost over …. I'll call Erin . Say we meet at 5 , we'll make it a girls night and the guys can fend for themselves.
Maria: Can I invite my sister
Eddie: that's even better…. We'll make this like your bachelorette party…. I'm looking forward to this
Maria looks to Danny: Looks like you will be alone tonight
Danny: why is that
Maria: Eddie and Erin are helping me shop for a wedding dress and then when I asked if I could bring my sister…. Eddie decided that this will become my bachelorette party…. Will you mind…. This looks like it could be fun and get me closer to them.
Danny: you have fun…. But don't be surprised if they don't prod you as to what we do in bed…. My sister always wants to know if she is missing out on anything, especially now
Maria: you think so
Danny: I know so…. have fun… drop me off at the house and I'll see you when you get back…. Don't get to drunk….. I love you.
Maria picks up Ana and meets Eddie and Erin at the bridal shop Eddie mentioned. Maria introduces Ana to Eddie and Erin. Ana is surprised as to how friendly and cordial Eddie and Erin are to her.
Eddie: Maria… I had no idea what style you were thinking of, so the manager has assigned Paige to bring what you think you make like….. If they don't have it then they don't make it…. Tell Paige what you were thinking of
Maria: I'm more simple by nature, so I don't like all that fru fru stuff…. Simple but classic, more in line of a cocktail dress that I could ware again
Paige: I think I understand….. Let me get some of the I'm thinking off and then you can try them on
Erin: Your very practical, My wedding dress I wore it once and that was it and then after the divorce I burned it
Ana: You're no longer married…. What happened
Erin: Let's just say the timing wasn't right…. We made a beautiful daughter, Nikki ,that has been a gift to the family, but now she is all grown up and living in California
Paige brings out 6 dresses the may fit Maria's criteria
Eddie: Maria…. Try some of them on …. Let's see how you're going to look as a bride
Paige asks if they would like some refreshments while Maria models. Maria comes out with the first dress and the reaction was …. To simple , The second dress - a little to glitzy for Maria's taste….
The third dress caught Maria's eye and shape it was a Sheath/Column V-neck Knee-Length Satin Lace Cocktail Dress with a Satin jacket.
Ana: that's really beautiful on you Maria ….. Mom will think so to
Eddie: That dress was made for your body, showing a little clevage which Danny should love and the satin clings to your shape perfectly... the lace top excentuates you perfectly
Erin: That's classic dress that you'll get plenty of use , especially in our family
Maria: So you all agree, I like it…. I think Danny will like it too
Ana: she always thinks of Danny
Maria goes to pay for it and Paige tells her it's already been taken care of by Eddie
Maria: Eddie I can't accept this that is way to much
Eddie: I told Jamie that I was going to do this…. This is our wedding gift…. Your family …. Now let's go have that bachelorette party
Ana is getting a glimpse of the family Maria is marrying into and not what they imagined them to be.
Erin recommends a nearby tavern that also serves food so the four women can enjoy themselves. Once they have a few drinks the questions start coming about how Maria got Danny to propose
Eddie: I know you forced him to take to dinner, but how did you get him to propose
Erin: Yeh… I want to know that too…. Danny is the most stubborn of my brothers, so you had to do something to make him ask you to marry him
Maria: Once he acknowledged that we were on a date and he was to treat me as his date and not his partner , I kinda hinted that if he was a good boy… he might get lucky….. his mind started racing and he didn't know what I was going to do next…. Anyway we finally started talking …. We had a great dinner and finished a bottle of wine and then we went back to my place. Danny was as nervous as I had ever seen him, especially after I changed into something more comfortable
Erin: How comfortable… his sweets
Maria: we weren't at that stage yet
As the girls continued to talk several men across the bar sent a round of drinks there way and asking if they would like some company. Eddie tells the waitress to return the drinks, since it was inappropriate of them to make the assumption that they were the slightest bit interested in them
One man took offense to the rejection and came to their table to find out what their problem was.
Eddie being Eddie tells the guy : Just because we are four women minding our own business and talking to each other, doesn't give you the right to infringe on our space because you think your god's gift to women. We are married and you couldn't hold their jock straps, so get the fuck out of our faces.
The man being embarrassed by this petite little blonde responds with : You little bitch
Maria jumps in with her badge: Look asshole….. We're NYPD and that's the City Prosecutor… you picked the wrong table to show your macho bullshit…. So get your ass out of here before you find yourself in our jail.
Other customers in the bar had their cell phones recording the entire event which will become Page 6 for the Post in tomorrow's paper
Ana: you're so little, but your a pit bull… very attractive….. but you don't take no bullshit
Erin: She has some of the bruises to show for it
Ana: Maria… you do this all the time
Maria: Backing up Danny…. I've had my share
Erin: Danny is a real Pit bull….. Maria knows how to control him …. That's why she is perfect for him…. Do you want to call it a night
Eddie: those assholes aren't going to ruin our night …. We didn't do anything wrong and nobody is going to bother us the rest of the night…. So Maria what happened after you got comfortable
Maria: How does Jamie benefit from what I'm doing?
Eddie: He asks me to guess at what your doing and tells me Why am I not doing it to him
Ana: you Reagan women are unbelievable
Maria continues her story and Erin and Ana are so jealous of the sex Maria is having and Eddie can't wait to try it with Jamie. But when morning comes around Garratt is at Abigail's desk showing the article in the Post.
Garrett: The pictures are one thing, but the audio is something else… How do I answer this
Abigail: The Commissioner will be in shortly… I doubt he even knows of this…. He doesn't pay any attention to this.
Garrett: Rest assured our sensitive Mayor does….. I can see his response… The insensitive police women using their power to bully a harmless citizen
Abigail: You're overstepping… What read and Heard , Eddie and Maria were absolutely right in what they did…. If I was there , I would've cuff that asshole
Frank walks in and asks whose the asshole
Abigail : Sir have you seen the paper
Frank: Baker show me what I'm suppose to see, If Garrett is already here it must be something
Abigail: It concerns, Officer Eddie Reagan, Prescutor Reagan Boyle, Detective Biaz and Ana Biaz
Frank: give me the summary and why is Garratt in a tizzy over it?
Abigail: from what I can summarize, the four women were minding there own business having dinner and drinks when these other gentlemen sent drinks over and Officer Eddie Reagan, sent them back with a message that they weren't interested. The gentlemen took offense and Eddie told him that they were married and that they couldn't hold their husbands jock straps and told him to fuck off. The Guy call her a little bitch and Then Detective Biaz jumped in, showed her badge and informed the man that he pick the wrong table to try his macho bullshit and told him to leave unless he wants to pay a visit to their jail
Frank with a big smile on his face: My daughter in laws are just as tuff as their husbands
Garratt: Daughter -in - laws…. I know of one daughter in law… where is the second one ?
Frank: this is not for publication Danny and Maria are getting married in 8 days… The girls were getting to know each other and helping Maria with the wedding… So I perfectly understand Eddie and Maria's response… just because they are NYPD don't they have a right to privacy… of course unless you're a Reagan. Garrett, handle it in away that doesn't interfere with Danny's and Maria's day…. It will be a very private ceremony with just immediate family that's what they want that's what they will have…. Have I made myself clear
Garratt: What do I tell the Mayors office
Frank: Tell the Major that the guy was a complete jackass and that he was lucky he didn't get his ass kicked by two women
Abigail: My sentiments exactly
In Jamie's morning briefing , Eddie's pg 6 article is the only thing the patrolmen want to talk about.
Jamie: look we have work to do and can't be distracted by pg 6 fodder. As Eddie's Husband, all I can say is I have an amazing wife …. As sergeant of this unit…. Everyone has to respect a sense of privacy including NYPD and their families ….. The media sometimes forgets that we are people and we have lives and families…. Enough said… be careful out there
As the captain of detectives is trying to explain the Pg 6 article with Maria Biaz in the center of it….. Maria has a flashback to the night before as she is trying to explain to Danny who was sound asleep.
Maria comes walking into their bedroom and looks to Danny and gives him a kiss: Danny, sweetheart… I need to tell you something…. Danny… Danny
A groggy Danny awakens : what's the matter
Maria: I'm pretty sure that tomorrow I'm going to be in the paper…. The girls and I were having such a good time and then these jackasses tried to pick us up and Eddie got into their faces and then I jumped in...a lot of words were exchanged …. Anyway…. Everyone in the bar recorded what transpired and because I said we were NYPD that made it news worthy… I didn't want you to be surprised in the morning. I never realized how tuff Eddie can be and how sweet at the same time. She and Jamie bought me the most beautiful Wedding dress… I think you will love it
Danny: none of you were hurt, were you?
Maria: No… because of it my sister has a different opinion of the Reagans, she couldn't believe Eddie's generosity and toughness… let's get some sleep….. I may have a lot of explaining to do tomorrow
Danny: sounds like another day in the life of a Reagan…. Don't worry about it
Maria takes her cloths off and snuggles up against Danny and falls asleep.
