When Sophie put her in the backseat, she pulled down the hood of the assassin and her heart sunk. It didn't look like Kate at all...but how is the DNA matching thought Sophie. She didn't give it too much thought and wanted to get to Mary's clinic as fast as possible since she didn't know how long she had before the woman came to. "Hi Sir, I hope this call doesn't wake you, but I wanted to let you know I will be taking vacation leave for next week for the entirety of that week." Although shocked that Sophie was using her untouched vacation days, he understood after everything that has happened and told her to take all of the time she needed.

Mary and Batwoman waited anxiously (more Mary than Batwoman) in a van for Sophie to arrive at the rendezvous location and once she did, they transported her body to the batcave and into a cell with titanium chains mounted to the cave that they installed just for for their new roommate. "You know Sophie has a right to get involved if this is somehow Kate...so does Alice in a way."

"I'd rather smuggle Sophie down here than Alice. We can keep Alice on a need to know basis and if you want to knock Sophie out or bag her before you bring her down here, I'm fine with that. I agree that she deserves to be involved in whatever is going on. Alice, not so much," said Luke thoughtfully; trying to weight the risks as he spoke.

"I can live with that. I'll call Sophie and see how she wan...", mid sentence Mary's phone goes off. "Speaking of the Sophie... hey Sophie what's up?"

"Hey, I just took off work for this week. I want to be there."

"We were actually just talking about that. You think you could meet up at Wayne tower?"

"On my way."

Mary hung up the phone," ok, so are we going to knock her out or how are we doing this?"

"Ka...she will be out for another hour or two so I say we safely knock her out as in with a chemical and not knocking the lights out of her..." said Luke staring directly at Ryan. Ryan raised her hands up innocently as if that thought had not come to her head - which it did of course.

Mary stood outside of Wayne tower when Sophie pulled up. "So you are just going to let me into the Batcave just like that? I'm surprised."

"Well not exactly..." Mary said with a weak smile as she slowly held up a syringe. "It won't hurt." She said trying to ease the annoyance Sophie was definitely displaying.

Sophie rolled her eyes and sighed as she rolled her sleeve up.

Luke and Ryan waited patiently for Mary to arrive when Ryan got a call.

"Where are you going?" Luke asked as Ryan started to walk towards the elevator.

"We forgot that our girl Mary had brains and not bronze," chuckled Ryan. "She barely got Sophie out of the car and 'she didn't want to drag Sophie the whole way' but I don't think she can actually do that."

Luke laugh at this poorly planned idea they had. "Damn, okay we didn't think that one through. I'll leave you to it and make sure Sophie doesn't see you! I'm going to call it a night so I don't wind up having another interrogation from Sophie."

Sophie came to slowly and realized she must have been in the Batcave, "What? No Batwoman?" She asked rubbing her butt and looking around. "What the hell happened while I was out?"

"Sophie, honey, that muscle of yours is great when you are conscious but it sucks when it's dead weight, just saying." Mary said while picking her nails. "Anyway she'll be awake in like half an hour so do you want me to give you some privacy with her or..."

"No, she's your sister, you deserve to find out too."

"Thank you, Sophie."

Sophie gave a nod and grabbed a chair. She didn't know what to expect or how to even interrogate her. A little while later she noticed that the assassin stirred and opened her eyes...her eyes. Shit they were Kate's eyes, but not her face. Sophie still couldn't comprehend it. The assassin looked at her and Mary.

"Where am I?" Mumbled the assassin.

"Somewhere you can't get out of. Who are you?" Mary asked sternly.

The assassin said nothing.

"Kate." Sophie said with every ounce of hope she had.

Sophie only detected a micro expression off of her that showed confusion or alarm; she couldn't tell. Sophie got up and got closer to the cage "Mary can you leave us for one minute."

"Yeah"

Once Mary left, Sophie opened the cage and got as close to the assassin as she thought was safe, staring directly into her eyes...Kate's eyes. "Katherine Kane." Nothing. Sophie got closer. Closer than she should have. WHAM! Kate flew her leg across Sophie's torso causing Sophie to fall to the ground.

"Release me now!" yelled the assassin

Sophie quickly got up and immediately felt the stabbing pain in her ribs. "Dammit, Mary you can come back." yelled Sophie as she limped back out the cage.

"What the hell happened?" questioned Mary as she saw Sophie hold her ribs and an angry assassin. Mary walked up and inspected Sophie's ribs. "Jesus she could have broken your ribs."

"Feels like it, but I'm thinking more bruised," grimaced Sophie.

"My people will find me and kill both of you. Now let me go and you may be spared for now." demanded the chained woman

"Yeah yeah yeah." Mary said rolling her eyes as she got ice for Sophie. She drew her attention to the now injured woman,"Are we just going to keep her here?"

"For now, yes. I want to stay with her. I am going to contact Alice. She knows more about this than I do and see if she has any ideas as to reverse these effects. It is definitely Kate but she brainwashed or something. I don't know what happened to her face, but it's her. I know it. The DNA, her eyes, something in her voice. It has to be."

"I believe you. I am trusting you to stay here. I am going to leave but I am going to need to take your phone...Batcave protocol. There is a coms link that you can use to contact Batwoman if you get into trouble and she will text me. Good luck Sophie. I'll be back tomorrow."

"Thank you Mary. Really thank you." Mary said her goodbyes and reminded her of the coms link one more time and gave Sophie Tylenol to take. Once Mary left, she turned her attention back to the assassin. "So this is how it is going to be?"

The assassin said, again, nothing.

"How long have you been killing."

"Long enough to be good at it." said the assassin in a threatening tone.

"That's funny you should say that; do you remember where you learned to kill?" Sophie asked, trying to back her into a corner of confusion

"The Two Face Society. I am done talking. Leave me." said the assassin sternly.

"Sorry no can do," said Sophie as she rolled her chair close to the cage. "I have an ex-girlfriend to get back and I have a week to do it, so it's going to be a long night for both of us."
