Hello everyone, and today, Dragnarok, Bandicoot, and Coco will being gathering the first batch of gems and crystals!
Before we begin, I want to address something.
kyrogue23: Malefor and Uka Uka will meet one day, but not in Warped.
Okay, let's begin!
On the Time Twister, our heroes entered the first chamber, which was Medieval in design.
"So... We just press one of these..." Dragnarok said as stepped on one of the five buttons, opening a time portal. "Oh wow!
"You guys go on ahead." Coco said. "I'll stay here and make sure none of Cortex's minions pull any surprises." Coco said.
"Got it!" Dragnarok said as he and Bandicoot nodded before facing the portal. "Here we go!"
And with that, the two heroes and Aku Aku jumped in.
Before arriving at their destined time period, Dragnarok and Bandicoot received a transmission.
The transmission showed Cortex's head while Uka Uka floating behind him.
"Chris and Crash, why must the two of you always muck in my mud?" Cortex asked before glancing at Uka Uka. "Oh, look. I have a mask helping me, too! We will find out which one is more powerful soon enough!" Cortex and Uka Uka then noticed Dragnarok. "Oh! And who is this?"
"I'm Dragnarok, draconic hero from a another dimension!" Dragnarok stated proudly. "Bandicoot and I met when my dimension's Hawk Moth created a akumatized villain that dragged him and Aku Aku there. So... You must be Cortex."
"Indeed I am." Cortex said. But before he could say anything else, Uka Uka puts himself on Cortex's face.
"I sense great power within you, both good and evil!" The evil mask said.
"Oh yeah? I'll never let you get it!" Dragnarok taunted.
"We'll soon see." Uka Uka said before the transmission ends.
Toad Village
The heroes soon found themselves in a medieval village of some sort.
"Okay everyone, let's get going." Aku- Aku said.
As the Dragnarok and Bandicoot went through the village, they soon noticed that something was wrong.
Propaganda of Cortex and his minions were all over the place.
"Oh great... Now we have to look at all these ugly mugs..." Dragnarok groaned.
"This is bad... Cortex and Uka Uka are messing with the timeline!" Aku Aku said. "We must stop them for certain!"
"Right!" Dragnarok said before something caught his eye. "Hold the phone..."
Dragnarok went to a nearby pile of hay and dug through it. A few seconds later, he pulled out a Gem.
"Aha! I found the gem!" Dragnarok shouted.
"Well done!" Aku Aku said before he and Dragnarok heard Bandicoot chattering loudly. Following the noise, they saw Bandicoot holding the Crystal." And it looks like Bandicoot found crystal."
"Sweet!" Dragnarok said before looking around. "Anything else we need to find?"
"No, that's all we need from this area." Aku Aku said. "Come on, the portal to the Time Twister is just up ahead!"
Going farther, the heroes found the portal, which they jumped into, returning to the Time Twister.
Once the heroes were back, Coco ran up to greet while carrying scuba gear.
"Great job you guys!" She said before giving the scuba gear to Bandicoot. "The near gem and crystal are underwater. I know Dragnarok can handle it just fine, but you'll need this, big bros."
"Thanks Coco." Dragnarok said as he hands her the gem crystal they found while Bandicoot puts the scuba gear on.
"Thanks..." Coco said as her cheeks went a bit pink, which Dragnarok didn't noticed.
Once Bandicoot got the scuba gear on, he gave a thumbs up, signaling that he was ready to go.
"Let's go!" Dragnarok said as he, Bandicoot, and Aku Aku opened a portal and went through it.
Under Pressure
Exiting the portal, our heroes found themselves on the seafloor.
Dragnarok looked around in amazement for a second before looking forward. He then signals to Bandicoot to moving onward, getting a nod.
As the swam ahead, they had some close calls with a few sharks, pufferfish, and mines that seem to home in on them.
They soon came across some sort of structure.
"Cortex must've had his minions build it here." Dragnarok thought as he, Bandicoot, and Aku Aku went inside.
After nearly getting electrocuted, the heroes exited the structure, where they were greeted by eels trying to bite them. After getting past them, a few more sharks and mines, and another underwater structure that had a turbine that push them forward, the gang found a device that looked like a fish.
"One of the minions must've left it. Oh well, finders keepers." Dragnarok thought as Bandicoot grabbed on to it.
After looking at it for a bit, Bandicoot pushed a button that was on the device, causing it to launch a small torpedo, which hit a batch of coral, which in turn had a Gem in it.
"What luck!" Everyone thought as Dragnarok swims over and grabs the gem.
And swimming around for a bit, the three some found the Crystal and swam through the portal.
Once they were back on the Time Twister, they found Coco waiting for them.
"Great work guys!" She said. "Hey, do you think I can get the next crystal?"
"Sure Coco." Aku-Aku said before facing Bandicoot "Bandicoot, stay here and keep watch while Dragnarok and I help Coco."
Bandicoot did a salute as Dragnarok opens another portal and he, Coco, and Aku Aku jumped in.
Orient Express
Exiting the portal, they found themselves on the Great Wall of China.
"Alright, let's-" Dragnarok shouted, only to be interrupted by a loud meow.
Following it, they found a cage that was holding a very large tiger cub.
"Wow! The a big cub!" Dragnarok shouted in surprise.
"Must've been Cortex's doing." Aku Aku said.
The group then noticed the scared look on the cub's face.
"Aw... The poor thing..." Coco said before walking over the cage door. "Let's let him out." Before Dragnarok or Aku Aku could say anything, Coco opened the cage, where the cub jumps onto her and begins licking her. "Stop it! It tickles!"
"Now that that's done, we need to find the crystal and gem." Dragnarok said as he got the tiger off of Coco.
Upon hearing "crystal and gem", the tiger cub jumped out of Dragnarok's hand and pointed a paw down the Great Wall before pointing to it's back with his tail.
"I think Pura knows where they are and wants to take us to them." Coco said.
"Pura?" Dragnarok asked.
"Well, he needs a name." Coco stated.
"Pura... Has a nice ring to it." Dragnarok, while Pura meowing in agreement.
Coco and Dragnarok then get on Pura's back, and once they were on, the tiger took off.
After run pass and through some of Cortex's minions, which were crawling all over the place, our heroes so found the Crystal and Gem.
"Thank Pura!" Coco said as Dragnarok picks up the Crystal and Gem. A time portal opens up in front of them. As they walked towards in, they noticed Pura following them. "You want to come with us, Pura?" As Pura nodded, Coco faces Aku Aku with the puppy god eyes. "Can we keep him Aku Aku? Please? I'll take care of him!"
"Sure Coco. Just be sure to look after him." Aku Aku said.
And with that, they went through the portal
Once they got back, Coco introduced Pura to her brothers.
"Chris, Crash, this is Pura. Pura, these are my brothers." Coco said.
Once that was taken care of, Dragnarok, Bandicoot, and Aku Aku went into the next portal.
Before they got to their destination, they received another transmission. This time, the head of a tiger-like creature appeared.
"Uka Uka and Cortex want Tiny get crystals, and bring them to big coliseum in Rome." The creature said before glaring at Bandicoot. "Bandicoot! Leave them for Tiny, or Bandicoot get crushed!"
And with that, the transmission ended.
Bone Yard
Exiting the portal, Dragnarok, Bandicoot, and Aku Aku found themselves in a jungle.
"Um... Who was that?" Dragnarok asked.
"That was Tiny Tiger. While he isn't big in brains, he for sure makes up for it in brawn." Aku Aku said.
That's when a roar and loud stomps echoed through the area. Following it, the heroes saw a Triceratops...
...That was charging right at them!
With a scream, Dragnarok and Bandicoot made a run for it, with Aku Aku floating behind.
"At least we know we're in the age of the dinosaurs." Dragnarok said before looking back, seeing the Triceratops still on their heels. "Why is it chasing us?!"
"We must be in it territory." Aku Aku theorized.
After being chased while avoiding logs, lava pools, and Pterodactyls, the duo fell off a ledge. Lucky, the Triceratops ceased chasing them as it looked at them from the ledge and roared before stomping away.
"Man, that was a close one." Dragnarok said as he and Bandicoot walked through a small patch of murky water, only for the draconic hero to trip on something hidden in the water. "Ow!" Getting back up, Dragnarok dug through the water before picking up what had tripped him, which was a Gem. "Well, that's another one for the collection."
Continuing on their way, the gang soon came across a fork in the road.
"Hmm... How about this. Dragnarok, you take the left path while Bandicoot and I take the right." Aku Aku said.
With a nod, the heroes split up.
After a while of walking, Dragnarok noticed a Gem laying on the ground. But upon picking it up, he saw a Triceratops charging at him, causing the draconic hero to run. If it was the same Triceratops from before, or a completely different one, Dragnarok didn't know or care.
Meanwhile, with Bandicoot and Aku Aku, they managed to find the Crystal in a small volcanic area. Once they exited, they met up with Dragnarok... and the Triceratops chasing him.
After a while of running, the heroes ducked in a small cave were the Triceratops can't reach them.
A time portal open ups in front of them and they jump in.
Upon returning to the Time Twister, Dragnarok and Bandicoot let out a sigh of relief.
"Man, talk about an exercise..." Dragnarok muttered with Bandicoot nodding in agreement.
"You guys sure got the workout." Coco said with a laugh. "Anyway, I want to go after the next crystal, as I have something that'll help."
"If it makes our job easier, you're in." Dragnarok said as he stepped on the fifth and final button, opening a time portal.
And with that, Dragnarok, and Coco jumped in.
Makin' Waves
Exiting the portal, our heroes found themselves on a small island in the ocean. In the distance, pirate ships with Cortex's face on the sail could be seen in the distance.
"So what now?" Dragnarok asked.
Coco then took out a small, cube-shaped device and threw it into the water. Once in, it transformed into a jet-ski.
"Hold this and open your wings please." Coco said as she hands Dragnarok a rope that was attached to the back of the jet-ski.
"Okay, but w-" Dragnarok said, but couldn't finish as Coco got onto the jet-ski and zoomed off, pulling Dragnarok along"-HHHHHYYYY?!"
As Coco zipped through the water, Dragnarok was parasailing behind her.
The crew of the pirate ships spotted the two and began firing at them with the ship's cannons.
After zooming past the cannonballs, minions in rowboats, and bombs floating in the water, the two reached an island with a giant rock shaped like Cortex's head. And waiting for them were the Gem and Crystal.
"That... was... AWESOME!" Dragnarok shouted as he landed on the ground.
"That was a lot of fun." Coco said as she picked up the Crystal and Gem.
The time portal appears in front of them and they jump in.
Once they returned to the Time Twister, Dragnarok noticed something.
"Hey... Was that button always there?" He asked.
Sure enough, there was a sixth button.
"I'm not sure how that got there, but we better check it out." Aku Aku said.
Once Dragnarok steps on the button, opening the time portal, Dragnarok and Bandicoot jumped in.
Before they could arrive to where ever the portal was taking them, they got another transmission from Tiny.
"Bandicoot! Coco! Dragnarok! Stole the pretty crystals!" The tiger mutant growled as he glared at the heroes. "Tiny take them back, in gladiator arena!"
And with that, the transmission ends.
Once they exited the portal, Dragnarok and Bandicoot found themselves in a Roman coliseum with a crowd of minions cheering for blood.
Up in the podium, Cortex was dressed like a roman emperor, waving to the cheering crowd. Below him was Tiny, standing between two marble pillars, with one arm chained to each. With a roar of exertion, he pulls on the left chain, shattering the pillar. He then does the same with the remaining pillar, freeing him.
Looking down, he points down into the arena at Dragnarok and Bandicoot with a roar, then reaches and snatches up a trident from behind him before jumping down into the arena.
"Here comes Tiny!" Tiny shouted as he tried to stab the heroes with his trident.
"Woah!" Dragnarok shouted just barely avoided getting stabbed.
Soon, Tiny got his trident stuck into the ground when trying to get Bandicoot with a downward stab.
Seeing an opening, Bandicoot spins into Tiny, knocking him down and breaking the trident.
Getting back up, Tiny jumps back onto his podium, gets another trident, and roars as the gates around the arena open, letting out a bunch of lions.
With quick thinking, Dragnarok grabs Bandicoot and flies into the air, out of the lions reach. Once the loins were returned back into their pens, the heroes were back on the ground.
Tiny jumps back into the arena and beings to attack more aggressively.
"Here kitty-kitty-kitty!" Dragnarok taunted.
Tiny roared in anger before going for a downward stab, only Dragnarok to to dodge, causing the trident to stuck, followed by Dragnarok delivering a nasty headbutt, knock the tiger down.
Tiny once again jumped back to his podium and roared after getting another trident, having more loins to appear.
But like before, Dragnarok grabbed Banticoot and got the two of them out of harms way. Once the loins were gone, the landed back onto the arena.
When Tiny jumped back into the arena, he was furious, attacking even more aggressively. Dragnarok and Bandicoot had a few close call, almost being turned into swiss cheese.
Luckily, Tiny was dumb enough to try for another downward stab, and like before, when Dragnarok and Bandicoot dodged, the trident got stuck.
The two heroes delivered a double uppercut, knocking the tiger out cold.
Cortex let's out a yell of anger as the crowd began to boo and throw tomatoes at the unconscious Tiny.
Dragnarok and Bandicoot high-fived at a time portal appeared above them and absorbs the two heroes.
On the way back, they got a transmission from Aku Aku.
"Well done, children! By defeating Tiny, you have unlocked the gate to the next time travel area." He said with a smile. "From there, you will see that the gate to the second time travel area is now open."
That's when transmission ends.
Returning to the Time Twister, Dragnarok and Bandicoot saw that what Aku Aku said was true as a gate was no longer blocked.
"Can't wait to see what's next." Dragnarok said.
And that's the first area cleared! See you all next time for the second one, in chamber two!
