Hilary reluctantly walked into the dojo. She peeked over Tyson, who was taller than her by centimeters. Tiara, Mike, Allen, Rosa, Kenny, Max, Ray and Kai were sitting in a circle. Hilary looked at Tiara wrathfully, while Tiara retorted it in an ambivalent manner, as though nothing had happened in the past.
"Come on, sit down." Mike said firmly. "We don't have all day."
Tyson, Hilary and Max slowly walked over. Tyson purposely took the vacant space next to Tiara, to keep Hilary away from her.
"Okay, so I've-"
Clang! A glass of water slipped through Allen's fingers. Rosa glared at him.
"S-sorry, Rosa, I-"
"You're the clumsiest scumbag I've ever witnessed! And most of all, you're just a straight ass knobhead!"
Rosa's personality was similar to that of Tiara's. However, she portrayed herself more like a Tiara 'junior' and seemed to have overreacted to things more often. Allen had his good looks and a tough physique but was unwantedly gifted with a stuttering disease.
"Hey, chill! It's no issue, Allen!" Tyson reassured.
"Moving on, I have a bunch of things to tell! Where the heck do I even start off? Alright, cutting to the chase- you need to first know about your gods.
So, you own the four sacred bit-beasts- Dragoon, Draciel, Dranzer and Driger. They come all from a god – Dragrichekas, which is a nothing, but simply a combination from the Greek titles of your bit beast's type. Like dragoon, which represents a dragon, comes from the Greek word drákon and so on. This god is the definition of danger, because once a powerful slag gets hold of this god's power, it's not hard to destroy the world – and not the world of BeyBlading in particular – the whole darn world. But years and years before you guys were born, a very powerful blader who once owned dragoon," she said, eyeing at Tyson. "namely, Jake Garcia, managed to split the god into four: Typhon – the Greek god of the dragons who owns dragoon in the world of beyblading; Chelone – the Greek god of turtles who owns Draciel in the world of beyblading; Tigris – the god of tigers who owns Dranzer in the world of beyblading and finally Bennu – the Greek god of the phoenix, namely, Dranzer." She paused, taking a breath. "Jake, once managed to split them all, then fitted them into four domes in the same island we live in. These cruel gods were an abuse to your bit-beasts. But the impact reduced day by day when they were blocked. The dome is far underground. It's hard to reach there, considering the amount of effort Jake put in the rituals."
The audience, except Mike, Rosa and Allen looked bamboozled.
"I had no damn idea about this." Ray commented. "There's so much of Greek mythology to it!"
"You wouldn't. Only extremely trained religious brats like us can know about it. There's so much astrology to it too! Almost everything you know is derived from Greek or Latin. That's a fact." Rosa said in exuberance.
"Alright, cut to the chase, Tiara. We've collected all of what you said till now." Kenny barged in.
"Well, the evils love encouraging war. So, the sons and daughters of-"
"Ares?" Hilary interjected. "For real? Are we really getting there?"
"Yes. Ares." Tiara said calmly. "I didn't expect this dimwit to know it."
"Oh, shut up!" Hilary snapped. "I've read a lot of books and I have enough knowledge on Greek mythology dear. What you described to us just now is pretty basic for me."
"Is that so? No one asked you to flaunt, you right-fouled git! And if you really know so much, then I'd like you to answer some of my questions. They're quirky."
"Oh yeah? Try me!" Hilary yelled.
"Chill out! Tiara, continue!" Kenny said indignantly.
"It's not confirmed, but I think it is related to Ares but in the world of beyblading. Not anywhere else. So don't be mistaken cause many people wont know it."
"So will you tell us what these evils are doing?" Max interrogated.
"The obvious, Max. Someone wants to take over the world. Not only the world of beyblading like that sleazy Boris tried. But the whole darn world. And they're using the world of beyblading to achieve their goals because that's the easiest way out. But so near, yet so far. It's extremely strenuous to get to the dome. However, someone has managed to get there and is trying to pull the beasts out. That's why your beasts are fazed. They refuse to respond because they're in vain!" Tiara said dramatically. "And the cause of regular earthquakes in our sequestered island cannot be another reason. I don't know what these slags want and why they're doing it anyway. But oh dear, we need to stop them. Or else we're done for."
Tyson lounged bag lazily. "Hmph. We've dealt with so many enemies before. This is just gonna be the same cycle repeating it's damn self." He said with a stolid figure.
"Oh my god." Ray facepalmed.
Tiara hit Tyson on the head.
"Damn you! Ouch!"
"It's not that easy as you think!" She hollered with a squeaky tone. "Those evils are so powerful, so powerful that they managed to get to the damn dome! Imagine the kind of powers they hold, including- including the gods of your beasts! This is nothing compared to your BEGA situation, you berk! We're going to have the eleven of us – along with this useless little brunette, take on that evil, or maybe even evils."
"The way you run your mouth with insults, man." Tyson said, brushing his head.
"And you don't need to bring Hilary into everything. She's more useful than you think she is, Caramel head." Kai said in defence of Hilary.
"Then keep your ego in check!" Rosa squawked.
"Ros-a chill out!" Allen snapped. "Don't go ove-over-ov-over-"
"If you can't even speak, then don't try and go on me!" Rosa said insolently.
Tyson raged. "That's enough. He stutters so you criticize his rightful words. Have some respect!"
"Shut up!" Rosa snapped.
"Tyson chill-"
"Quiet, Ray! I've had enough of her snotty comments!"
"My snotty comments? And what about your ego?"
"Tyson calm your tits!"
"It was a single thing he said!" Hilary barged in.
"Shut up, brunette!" Tiara yelled.
Bickers flied across the room from one person to another like mosquitoes.
"Dude, we're not getting along." Daichi said savagely. "Y'll not making things any better, ya know. What's bickering gonna do anyway? And anyway, I doubt strata dragoon is part of the four sacred bit-beasts. It's got nothing to do with so I'm all out."
"You're gonna miss a lot of excitement. A lot of blading and a lot of battles. New challenges. Don't want that?" Hilary smirked.
"I'm not putting up with your bickering! I'd rather find my own challenges."
"Then it's a deal. We don't bicker and you join us." Max suggested. "I'm sober now, please guys. This cant be incessant. For our sakes."
Tyson gave out a loud sigh. "I'm unreliable but okay. Assured."
"I have a small question though," Kenny spat out, drawing the attention towards him. "I remember Mr. Dickenson taking another guy's name who was part of this group. But there are only four members here?"
"The fif-th one's Aust-in, my younge-younger brother." Allen stuttered. "I can't bring hi-m. He's t-oo young and naïve."
Tyson grimaced at his stuttering. "It's alright, bud. And I guess we should start planning something. So Tiara, I leave that up to you." He said, brushing his slovenly navy-blue hair.
Tiara turned scarlet. Had she had met Tyson a few days earlier, she would've been in love with him already. Fortunately for Hilary's sake, she hadn't taken notice of this situation. Ray sighed in relief, aware of the crush Hilary most likely had on Tyson.
Tiara grimaced. "Uh, there is a slight problem. A problem that may add on to other problems and delay our achievements. I apologize on my team's behalf too, but we are going to have to deal with a million things and I have the whole regime prepared in my head. It's just I need to work my fingers to flow it out on the paper. I might need some time, maybe tomorrow I can discuss the regime thoroughly. For now, I want you guys to practice. Not only on your blading, but your foot movement and general defences. You cant use the power of your blades, especially in a horrible situation like this. So boys, go work on it!"
Max yawned. "Don't be silly. It's already ten-thirty. And you haven't prepared the regime."
This behaviour, although lightly off from Max's milieu, was actually valid to portray. The former BladeBreakers undoubtedly needed a small break.
"Then go to sleep! Tomorrow morning, six! At the pond!"
"Yes, sir yes!" They obeyed.
Hilary looked slightly vexed. Without any comments, someone bold and confident like Tiara intruded and took over the coach's position which in fact belongs to Hilary. The regime consisting of all the plans and the job to put the boys on training was none other than the born leader, Hilary's job. This whole process of pondering and overthinking added to her wretchedness.
"Tyson, can you giving a piece of paper? I didn't bring any along. And a pen please?" Tiara interrogated coquettishly.
Tyson, playing the oblivious juvenile, retorted casually. "Yeah sure."
Rosa gave Tiara a surreptitious austere look. "We should get going. Get some rest, we'll- we'll get the regime ready by tomorrow. Come on, up!" She concluded, tapping Allen on his back continuously.
Tiara was lost into her reverie. Rosa snarled and grasped her tightly. "Tiara, out! We need to leave."
Tiara finally gasped, snapping out of her reverie. "Sorry. Let's go."
The former BladBreakers gawked at them oddly.
On the thoroughfare, Rosa held right onto Mike's jersey until he finally hollered.
"What is it, Rosa?!" He said, pulling down his hoodie. "You've been acting so...so…eccentric this past few minutes!" He breathed at last. "We're not so much of an embarrassment for you to overreact like that!"
Rosa squinted her eyes in vain. "Cant you see?" She said in a faint, nearly ambiguous tone. "Your sister is falling for that guy!"
"Well I can't do anything about it!" Mike blustered. "I don't own her feelings!"
"I never hoped for you to do so either. You're way too possessive. But it's not that! It's the fact that Tiara can go overboard when it comes to crushes or you know, being a stan?"
Mike gawked at her incredulously and shook his head side to side. "Codswallop! She only does that with- with stars… with celebrities!"
Rosa indignantly gritted her teeth and rolled her eyes. "Dear lord! He is a celebrity! He's the darn world champion! What do you think, you git? Not only that! She met him and they're about the same age!"
Mike had begun to pant by now. "Okay listen. You're overthinking this. You're being ridiculous. Even if she does like him, we can't do anything about it, Rosa! It's her feelings! What's our say?"
"We are religious! And it's against our rules!"
"I DON'T CARE ABOUT THE RULES!" Mike hollered, pushing her away and gaining the public's attention.
"I'm sick! I'm sick of it! All these rules, laws or whatever they are- in our damn religious world! We're restricted from having feelings! It's fucking ridiculous! Performing the same damn act everyday, not being able to mock the occult when at times it deserves to be! Seances, when people are afraid of the dark, where people don't want to counter their dark past filled with melancholy and dark memories of dead people! I know it's not a bad thing, but I'm done! It's the path I never chose! I'm only here to help Tyson and his gang!" He said, pointing at the dojo. "That's all!" He cohered faintly and walked away quickly while the others gaped at his retreating figure, walking in amble.
Rosa was butthurt. A nonplussed Allen and an exasperated Tiara walked towards the tearing Rosa.
"Rosa, I'll talk to him. Don't you worry."
"Damn it, Tiara! That was really harsh!" Rosa quavered with the sobs tickling her throat.
"I don't know what happened between you two. And I respect your privacy, so I wont question. But I'm going to talk to him, alright? So chill out. Allen, walk her."
Allen apprehensively placed his arms around Rosa and walked her. Not that there was any tryst or chemistry between them, they were just friends.
Tiara sped up towards the irked Mike who seemed to have been feeling a little sorry, perhaps not much.
Mike galloped in a quick pace with his hoodie jumping to and fro.
"Mike! Mike seriously, listen!" Tiara yelled, nearly grabbing is jacket but he turned back sharply.
"What?" He questioned insolently. "Here to me lecture me because of Rosa? She's being insane! Says you don't have the rights to be in love with that navy blue haired champ because it's against our religion!"
Tiara shut her eyes and shook her head vigorously. "It is against our rules to have feelings, Mike. She's right! You were totally berserk out there!"
"She's just overreacting! I can't take this anymore! Today was ridiculous!" He breathed and pointed at Tiara on the tip of her nose. "And you? Why're you picking up on that brunette? What sin has she committed for you to act that way? You don't even know her! You just seem so envious, at least from my perspective you do!"
"It's none of your business, Mike! Just make it up to Rosa! That's all I want you to do!"
Mike was nearly about to smack the garbage can next to him but gained control in himself. "Among all our bickering, this one isn't my fault. For once, just for once, tell her to come up and apologize for stating absolute mindless comments which are so unnecessary on that particular moment or situation that- by the time which even Allen would've finished off a statement with something useful!"
Tiara gawked at Mike for seconds, until Mike finally twitched upon seeing Allen and Rosa come closer.
"Oh, dear lord! Deal with yourself. I'm out!" Mike said dismissively.
With that, an enraged Mike walked towards the hotel with a volcano inside his brain on the verge of blasting out. Poor guy, with no one to fathom his situation or point of view. Was it his fault?
