Both Mike and Lucas walked home with the creature, but it was still not communicating. It kept playing with the yoyo on the way.

Before they reached to their street, an officer was approaching them.

The officer talked into his radio This is dispatcher Reynolds, and I think I found what cause the alert.
Later, they've been walking on the street for a half an hour. The thing continuously playing with the yoyo, throwing it in the air and grabbing the string. Lucas glances over on the left to see what the creature was doing.
Mike, I have a bad feeling about this.
Why? Do you still think he'll start killing unexpectedly?
I just don't trust him. Like, I have a feeling in my gut that this thing is not as innocent as we think it is.
Mike looks at the thing and back at Lucas Come on, man, what's the worse that could happen?
A helicopter with a blinding light were hovering them, plus both sides of the street was barricaded with armored vehicles. The general comes out with a megaphone in his hand.
ATTENTION, SURRENDER THE EXTRATERRESTRIAL IMMEDIATELY OR WE WILL FORCE TO TAKE IT FROM YOU!
Mike and Lucas was panicking, but Lucas wanted to bargain.
You can only take it if you promise not to hurt or kill us!

They trapped the creature into the vehicle with a rope. The thing was moaning in sadness while looking at Mike, reaching its hand out to him. Mike shed a tear from the sight of it.
Alright, everybody, let's move!
All of the vehicles and the helicopter fled the scene, and the neighbors were getting back inside. Mike is still crying because he misses his best friend (other than Lucas).
Look, Mike-

He run towards his house and ditch Lucas. Lucas, on the other hand, was regretting his decision on giving away the creature so easily. Looks like their friendship is at stake for the moment.
