Chapter 3: The Return of Long Feng
Aang Pov:
I cannot believe this; I actually have someone who understands my responsibility. I mean I knew the Spirit Ruler always help the Avatar with balancing the world, and the fact that I could restore the Air Nomads. You know this Hei guy kind of looks like a mixture of Earth Kingdom and Air Nomad, he has green-grayish eyes, light tan skin, and silky black hair.
Hei ask me "So Aang, what do you know about the Avatar Spirit?"
I said, "The Avatar Spirit is a force of nature that brings balance to this world."
"That is part of the description, The Avatar Spirit created this plan of existence. Aang, you could do so much then just control the 4 elements. Whenever you went to the Avatar state, you can feel it is power, can you? Remember your fight with Ozai, that's only a small percentage of its power because your body cannot handle the full power of the Avatar. Why do you think your past lives train for years? Aang, you could destroy this world if you wanted to. The reason why the Fire Princess was lucky to strike you down because you could access only a very part of its power. No mortal can be more powerful than both The Spirit Ruler and the Avatar. The reason why Ozai and Azula stood up to your power is because of your attachment to Katara."
How does Hei know about my journey? I did not know the Avatar Spirit is responsible for the creation of this world. If what he is saying is true, then we could have won this war a lot sooner. What does he mean my attachment to Katara weakens me? You know what's funny, Guru Pathik about how I never will access the Avatar Spirit.
"I was able to go to the Avatar state in my battle with Ozai, it's the love I feel towards Katara that makes me strong," I said in a panicking voice.
"It's not romantic love the way you feel towards Katara, Aang what you feel about Katara is what you feel towards your own people. One person cannot replace an entire community; besides you were never fated to go out with Katara. Hei stated in a sorrowful tone.
"You can't be serious right, I can't have Katara. Are you kidding me? I sacrifice my entire childhood to save the four nations. Gyatso wanted me to have a normal life. If I cannot have Katara, then I do not want to be the Avatar anymore. I never wanted to be the strongest human, to begin with. What is good about being powerful, yet so lonely? TELL ME HEI" I shouted.
"Aang, Katara doesn't belong to anyone. You think just because there is a slight chance that Sugar Queen might not go out with you, you decide to throw a pity party. What is this garbage about being lonely, What about Sokka, Suki, Me, and yes our new friend Prince Angryboy aka Zuko?" Toph said rationally.
"But I want something more, I want a relationship with Katara" I cry with tears in my eyes.
"Aang, there is that fire nation girl named Oogi or something?" Toph said frustrated.
"Her name was On Ji, and yes she was cute, but she's not special like Katara.?" I said in a sad tone.
"You are being pathetic twinkle toes. Serious Aang just because Hei said you can't be with Katara, you decide to throw a hissy fit. 'Ohh I can't be with Sugar Queen, I can't be with Katara, why does my life suck?' Man, you sound like Zuko and that is saying something. Seriously Aang gird up your loin and grow a pair." Toph said in an angry tone.
"At least Zuko actually did something, what have you done Toph except get us in trouble. I mean you sucked at being an earth-bending teacher. Are you did was throw rocks at me, and I have no idea why Sokka, Katara, Suki, and I put up with you. You are just a horrible friend and all you do is insult us every day, and give us very bad nicknames. Face it Toph, the only reason why we tolerated you is that we need an earthbending teacher. At least Zuko and Katara never had to make me feel bad and listen to my concerns about the other elements. What have you done? Ohh that's right you just said man up and you just put me in a hole." I said with a frustrated tone.
"Hey my nicknames are funny, and second of all the seismic sense saved you from being killed by loserlord. Ohh I am a bad friend Aang, why because I do not put up with your whiny ass. Newsflash Aang, I used you and the group to get away from my crazy parents, turns out you guys are crazy too. You got Zuko being all self-pitying and going all crazy about his mom, Suki and Sokka being all gross with each other, Katara acting like a middle-aged woman, and you Aang you just a coward. I mean you always run away whenever life becomes tough, like the time when you have to kill Ozai and the time when Appa was missing. You just ditched us, and Katara has to bring you back to your senses because you so desperately wanted to be inside Katara's pants. I mean that's why Ba Sing Se was lost to the Fire Nation in the first place. I guess that is why your people are dead because they are all cowards. They could have helped take down the Fire Nation along with the Water Tribes and the Earth Kingdom, nope they just be 'like a leaf', and this is why this war has gone out so long." Toph yelled with anger
That is it, Toph has crossed the line. I feel my eyes growing white and my body going into the air and creating the air sphere. I can feel the fire coming out of my hands, water coming out of the well and into my air circle, and the rocks crumbling into dust and revolve around the air sphere. Next thing I know, I am out of the Avatar State and I saw Hei struck my neck. His right eye growing black and the left eye growing indigo. I feel sleepy, I guess I need a nap. My body is numb, and my eyes fade to black.
Long Feng
Curses I have the Fire Nation been beaten by the Princess of the Fire Nation. I am in the prison called the Boiling Rock. It is a prison of the Fire Nation that holds the Fire Nation enemies. The cell I am in is dirty with dust around the floors and that there is a steel door. This place does not even have a bathroom to do my business. How could this have happened, it is like I never escaped the filth I came from. I had the power because the Earth King was so stupid. Once I break out of this stupid prison, I going to kill the Earth King and retake Ba Sing Se.
"So, you're the famous Long Feng" a mysterious gruff voice spoke.
"Who is here, show yourself?" I said with irritation.
A man with blonde hair and yellow eyes like a lion eagle looks upon the eye of the steel door.
"I got a proposition for you if you want your kingdom and the Dai Lee back?" said the mysterious man.
"What are your terms stranger," I said cautiously.
"It's actually really simple, just give me your soul and kill Toph Beifong." The mysterious man said unemotionally.
"How should I trust you and who are you?" I said suspiciously with this stranger.
"I'm the Beast Spirit, and I am the Dark spirit of the Earth element. I represent greed and laziness, and you are my perfect vessel. If you give yourself to me, you will be the strongest earth bender to ever exist. You can kill both King Bumi and Toph Beifong. The best part is that you do not waste any effort. Dai Lee soldiers are coming for you and you need my power if you want to restore your name on the throne." The Beast Spirit said.
This is so good to be true. I will have my revenge against those who put me in here. If what this spirit about me becoming the strongest earth bender is true. I could be better than Chin The Conqueror and control the entire Earth Kingdom, maybe the entire world.
"I will give you my soul, and Toph Beifong will die. I will also kill Azula of the Fire Nation for vengeance if you don't mind spirit?" I said in a gleeful tone.
"I don't care about what you do, just kill Toph Beifong." The beast spirit said impatiently.
The next thing I know, I felt his presence inside of me and a surge of power in my veins. Nothing is going to stop me, and the best part is all I did was let his spirit inside of me. I feel my eyes going yellow. My hands have become lava, so I took an earth bender stance and used the lava to break out of my cell. No sirens are going off, so I need to be sneaky. This is so easy, why are there no guards?
"Sire, we have come to get you. We defeated the guards of this facility and we destroy their system. Come, we must go now!" A Dai Lee soldier named Een
It is nice to know that my Dai Lee will always be loyal to me, and not to the Fire Nation. It seems my Dai lee has come to their senses, I guess the foolish princess threw them away. I followed the Dai Lee soldier through the hole of the boiling rock facility, and on my way to my rightful kingdom.
