Jaune slept for what felt like hours until the smell of something... cooking could we smelled through the air and based on the smell it was most likely meat...bird meat...?
Opening his left eye follow by his right eye Jaune woke up to see Soji cooking what looked like a goose...?
"Sorry did I wake you Jaune?"asked Soji as he noticed that Jaune was awake.
"Huh you weren't even looking yet you could still tell."said Jaune who was impressed as he saw firsthand Soji did not move a muscle while he was cooking the goose he somehow had.
"How did you find that goose you're cooking so fast as I assume we've only been asleep for several hours and hunting game at night especially for a human is quite difficult."said Jaune wondering how Soji acquired the goose in the first place when there was no evidence that he left the cave.
"He didn't catch that goose I did."said a voice Jaune did not recognize as someone new came out of the darkness towards the fire.
This individual was young and skinny. His hair was tied in a long ponytail with the left side of his face covered by his hair. He was wearing a sleeveless blue kimono with blue hakama pants then and at the ankles. He looked like an orchard based on the fact he was holding a bow and there was a Japanese style quiver tied around his waist.
"Okay so who do you claim to be?"asked Jaune as he was wondering who this next individual claimed he was.
"Well you probably won't believe me but my name is Nasu Suketaka Yoichi or Nasu No Yoichi."said the individual identifying himself.
"Oh come on! Nasu No Yoichi, the legendary archer from the Genpei war said to have shot a fan from a moving boat from a raging river and was said to be the most skilled archer of the war and possibly in the history of Japan."said Jaune who heard the name Nasu No Yoichi since he read up a lot of Japanese history during his summers in Japan.
"Whether you choose to believe me or not I am telling the truth. Like you, Soji, and Nobunaga I was dragged here by that orange man with horns not long after the Genpei war came to an end."said Yoichi as is that near the fire.
"At this point I'll just believe you since none of what's going on makes any rational sense...Soji I've been noticing this for a while but where's your katana?"asked Jaune who found it unusual that a samurai like Soji would be unarmed.
"My katana brook a while ago while I was fighting off the Grimm. My sword was already damaged during my time as the captain of the first squad of the Shinsengumi and even though it was a great sword it can only take so much damage. After my last fight with an Ursa I had to abandon it after we started getting over run"said Soji who didn't feel the same without a weapon in hand.
"Here."said Jaune as he handed one of his katanas to Soji.
"Why are you giving me this?"asked Soji, wondering why he would so easily give him a sword.
"You need a sword to defend yourself as we are allies at this point and I will never leave a comrade on armed. Nobunaga I'm assuming you need a weapon too so here."said Jaune as he tossed his other katana at Nobunaga, who he noticed was only pretending to be asleep.
Nobunaga caught it in mid-air and looked at it closely by unsheathing it.
"Well I'll be this sword was made by a master sword maker I'm surprised you're giving it up so easily."said Nobunaga.
"Those swords were in my family for a long time but these swords compared to the one that is truly considered special to my family."said Jaune as he pulled out two words from his duffel bag.
The swords were a katana and a wakizashi both of similar but yet so different. Both the katana and wakizashi had a black ITO braid instead of a white one like the original katanas. The katanas tsuba had a metallic gold flower like design with two holes on both sides of it and the kashira was a similar metallic gold with a sturdy design. The wakizashi on the overhand had a black tsuba with two larger holes on both sides of the blade with a black kashira at the end.
"Both of these swords were made by two separate sword masters for my great-great-great-grandfather as he needed them right away for war and that is why they have two different designs. These swords are considered the pride and joy of my grandmother's family but when they came to my position they were rusted and pretty much useless so I sent them back to Japan and waited three whole years for them to be completely restored by the Best of the Best. I even paid him to add titanium to the metal."said Jaune as he placed his katana and wakizashi in his frog belt.
"Titanium?"asked Soji, Yoichi, and Nobunaga as they had never heard that word before in their lives.
"It it's basically the strongest metal known to man and trust me I had to pay a pretty penny just to convince the master sword maker do add that metal to the katanas. But because of that these two are probably the strongest samurai swords from our world."said Jaune who kept them in the duffel bag for safekeeping in the emergency he ever had to abandon his home.
"My goodness Jaune I don't know where you got these swords but you said that you got them from your family so I'm assuming you have some Japanese heritage. But I got to say these are amazing swords."said Soji as he was admiring his new katana.
"Noting but the best for a master of the Tennan Rishin Ryu style."said Jaune who knew that most members of the Shinsengumi were trained in that sword School.
"My goodness I had my doubts about you but I can tell you are a good person too so easily help rearm people you just barely met."said Yoichi who was truly impressed.
"Yeah well since we are allies I might as well make sure their armed."said Jaune as his stomach started rumbling.
"Hungry are we? Well do am I so let's eat that goose Yoichi brought for us."said Nobunaga as he and Jaune walked over to the fire to begin eating the goose just as it finish cooking.

Day arrived faster than expected as the light from the cracks in the cave awoke the four Drifters from their slumber. Jaune was the first to wake up so he decided to change as he felt he needed more appropriate clothes for the environment.
Nobunaga was the next to wake up as he noticed that Jaune was placing the clothes he slept in the bag he was carrying.
Soji and finally Yoichi with a final man to get up as they looked at their companion and noticed that he was wearing a different outfit.
Jaune was still wearing his signature black trench coat and frog belt but other than that everything else was different. Now instead of his vest and blue button-up shirt Jaune was wearing a dark black military sweater that was tucked into his pants. His dress pants were now dark green green military cargo pants with an extra thick layer patch on both shins. His cowboy boots were now replaced by black military combat boots. They also noticed that on his belt besides his Katana and wakizashi he now had some kind of knife which only Jaune knew was a k-bar knife. He also his Mossberg shotgun tied around with ropes left side of his belt.
'I decided to carry my shotgun with me since when you want to take out an enemy quickly it really comes in handy. Shotguns really come in handy when you want to take out an enemy quickly.' thought Jaune.
"I see you decided to change."said Nobunaga.
"Yeah I need more appropriate clothes for the environment and luckily I had them in my duffle bag, Oh Nobunaga here."said Jaune as he handed Noble Naga his arisaka rifle.
"This... is a beautiful gun."said Nobunaga with a smile.
"That is an arisaka type 99 rifle. It is originally from your Homeland but unlike the matchlock rifles you're use to it can fire up to five shots before it has to reload."
"Five shots!"exclaimed Nobunaga who was very impressed as he never imagined that such a beautiful rifle existed.
"I heard you preferred using guns in battle to weaken your enemy's forces before the rest of your army charged in so I figured this gun would fit your fighting style."said Jaune with a smile.
"I see you are indeed a good person Jaune as you trust this snake so easily."insulted Yoichi.
"I am not a snake!"
"Says the man who used so much deception and underhanded tactics that it's no wonder he got betrayed."said Soji.
"...Shut up..."said Nobunaga.
"Come on guys. We need to find civilization quickly as we need fresh water and supplies."said Jaune as he and Soji moving the boulder to open the cave.
Once once everyone was outside they quickly began moving along the path all the while keeping their guard up as Grimm could attack at any moment.
"I remember one of the travelers who passed by here telling me that there's a small settlement a few miles away from here."said Soji.
"Yeah we should arrive there in a few hours. In the meantime I say we should get to know each other better since I don't know why but I have a feeling all four of us are going to have to stick together."said Yoichi as the group continued walking down the path.
What the group didn't know is that they were being watched from afar by a girl wearing some kind of white uniform with binoculars. Her white hair was tied in twin tails and she appeared to be wearing circular glasses.
"The Grandmaster was right! Four Drifters have appeared in this area and according to him more of them are going to appear soon. I hope Martin and Peter can find the Drifters they were sent to find as we're going to need all the help we can get as the Grandmaster predicted a great war with the Grimm is in the near future."said the girl as you continue to watch them with her binoculars.
"I just need to wait for the appropriate opportunity to approach them. You got this Olminu"said the girl to herself as she continued to watch the group from a safe distance.

I am glad the story is going as well as it should be and I hope it would be.
Let's basic guys I make a lot of mistakes and I'm glad you guys forgive those mistakes.
Anyway next chapter the Drifters will run into a familiar villainous group causing nothing but trouble.
Will the Drifters step in to help?
