Chapter Three

It had been a week, Barry found a nice three bedroom house for his little family, now it was just having to move in and sort stuff out. Barry was having some trouble with adopting Kara, she didn't exactly have an identity on earth so they had to bring in an expert.

"Barry, when are Felicity and Oliver getting here?" Caitlin asked, getting out of his shower In nothing but a towel. And of course Barry didn't hear a single word she said. "Hello? Earth to Barry." Caitlin said, waving a hand in front of Barry who was just staring at her. "Barry!" Caitlin said louder.

"Yeah? What?." Barry said snapping out of his thoughts and desires.

"I asked when Oliver and Felicity were getting here?" Barry felt kinda embarrassed that he spaced out in thinking about Caitlin in very sexual ways.

"They...um.. they said they'd be here in 30 minutes." After Caitlin got herself and Kara ready for the day they had some time to kill before Oliver and Felicity arrived at S.T.A.R labs. So they decided to head to Jitters for some breakfast. Kara had chosen where they would sit, it just so happened to be high chairs.

"Kara honey, do you need help?" Caitlin asked from her chair at the end of the table. Kara wanted to sit in between Barry and Caitlin.

"I can do it mom…." Kara may have been twelve but that didn't excuse her height. Barry still gets surprised when Kara call's Caitlin mom. Barry pulled out his phone and took a picture with his speed, Caitlin couldn't help but giggle to herself.

"Da-Barry, can you help me?" Kara asked in defeat. Barry noticed the slip up but pretended to not hear it. Barry picked up Kara and placed her in the chair in between them.

"What can I get for this lovely family today." The waiter asked.

"Oh we're no-." Caitlin started.

"We'll take two burger meals and the house salad, with two flashes, one decaf, and a strawberry lemonade." Barry ordered. Caitlin couldn't control the butterflies in her stomach, Kara smiled at the mention of them being a family.

"Barry, when did you want to start moving into the house?" Barry was going to answer but got interrupted by a familiar voice calling for them.

"Barry, Caitlin oh my god! it's been forever, how is my Snowbarry doing?" Barry made a confused face at the name.

"She's been reading a lot of fan fiction, so she's been coming up with name's for the couple's in our friend group." Oliver explained to Barry.

"Oh my god, who is this cute little girl? Oh my god her eyes are so beautiful." Felicity asked sitting down on the other side of the little family.

"This is Kara, she's going to be moving in with me and Cait." Felicity geeked out for her favorite ship.

"Hi Kara, Barry I don't mean to pry… but why is she staying with you?" Barry wanted to explain everything right then and there but 'what if someone overhears us.'

"We'll explain everything at S.T.A.R Labs, but she's the reason we called you here. That's all I can say for now."

After they all finished eating, which Kara and Barry took longer with the extra food that they got, they headed to S.T.A.R labs. As they entered the cortex Barry asked Caitlin to preoccupy Kara just until he was done explaining their situation. Caitlin took Kara into the med bay and sat on the bed with Kara.

"Kara, Frost wanted to know why you were sad when the necklace she made melted?" She asked, noticing Kara reach for the necklace that used to be there.

"I was sad because she gave it to me, and because I wanted to keep it forever." Frost felt really sad at how upset Kara was about losing the necklace. Frost thought about getting her a real one as a gift for the adoption.

"Guys were ready." Felicity thought that it would be best to have Kara's help with making her identity.

"So Kara let's start with, how old are you?" Felicity asked, typing away on the laptop. "The anniversary of my birth is in a couple of day's, 4 to be exact, It'll be thirtheen years since my birth." Kara said.

"So your birthday is October 8th, 2008." Felicity stated and Barry and Caitlin made a note of that on their phones. After many more questions, it was time for the name.

"One last thing we need to decide on, a name, I'm assuming you want to be called Kara?" Felicity joked and Kara giggled.

"What about a last name? Did you guys want her to take one of yours?" Felicity asked the couple sitting at Caitlin's desk.

"Oh um..sure I don't mind if she takes mine." Caitlin said from her chair.

"Yeah neither do I." Barry chimed in.

"Ok Kara you get to choose which last name you want to take." The blond asked Kara. "

Ca...can't I have both?" Kara asked, a bit shy. Barry felt tears stinging in his eyes, Caitlin felt flutters in her chest at the fact that Kara wanted both of their names.

"How about, you choose one for now and after we get the adoption papers done we can add the other ok? So which one?" Caitlin asked, now kneeling at Kara's side.

"Snow." Felicity had everything done and Kara was now Kara Snow, for now. Now that everything was taken care of for the day they all decided to head to Joe's for dinner. After dinner Barry, Caitlin, and Kara went home to Barry's apartment.

"Kara sweetie go get ready for bed." Caitlin said, taking off her heels.

"Ok mom." As Kara went to shower, Barry and Caitlin changed into pajamas. Barry changed into basketball short's, and took off his shirt. Caitlin's face heated up in response to seeing a shirtless Barry, Barry noticed this and smirked and flexed his abs.

"Like what you see Dr. Snow?" Caitlin bit her lip and got really embarrassed from being caught staring.

"It's too bad Kara doesn't have her own room." Caitlin shot back. Barry got into bed and cuddled Caitlin until Kara got in between them on the bed and went to sleep, soon followed by Caitlin and Barry.
