Seth: Here's what happened if you missed anything. When we came to the Digital World, we met these pretty strange creatures. We were told that we had to save the world. I'm not sure about that, but we did get attacked. I was a little scared, but R-mon showed me to be brave. When he did, he became Raymon. This is becoming a wild adventure.

Rin the Lone Wolf

"How did that digimon instantly digivolve?!" Musyamon questioned as he was trying to figure out what happened. "Did that human have something to do with it? Well, let's see if those humans really had something to do with it." Musyamon looked through a series of cages and was trying to find the right digimon to unleash. "I think you'll do the trick."

The Village

Seth and the others were amazed with what they witnessed. Raymon was incredible, but he became R-mon again. They were all trying to wrap their heads around what happened.

"Vademon, what exactly happened back there?" Seth questioned.

"How did I digivolve so suddenly?" R-mon questioned.

"It was your new friend here. You have him to thank." Vademon said as he referred to Seth.

"Me?" Seth questioned.

"Normally, it would take a digimon years to digivolve, but your human friend here has shared some of his energy with you and allowed you to instantly digivolve." Vademon said.

"Does that mean we can do that too? That would be so cool." Freddie said.

"You said it. I would love to digivolve." Vorvomon said.

"Focus on a more serious situation." Rin said. "What can you tell us about the guy that attacked us? What can you tell us about this Musyamon? Is he the one in charge of this Dark Army?"

"Musyamon is just a mere commander. This force is a small fraction of the Dark Army's power." Vademon said. "The Dark Army is led by three powerful digimon, more powerful than Musyamon."

"Sounds like these guys are going to keep us busy." R-mon said. There was so much to take in. They didn't even know where to start with all of this. The six of them were trying to process all of this.

"Are you all doing okay?" Vorvomon asked.

"We're still trying to process all of this. It's a lot to take in." Seth said. "How are we suppose to save a whole world and fight an entire army? We don't even know each other."

"Well, maybe we should start with that. Let's get to know each other." Freddie said. "I come from Sapporo, Japan."

"Really? I live there too." Seth said.

"Same here." Rin said.

"We all live in the same town? What are the odds?" Freddie said as he was liking this.

"How could you live in the same place and not know each other?" R-mon questioned.

"That's because we go to different schools." Rin said. "At least I do. I go to an all-girls school. Anyway, let's talk about this digivolution. It seems to be a symbiotic relation between humans and digimon that is somehow activated subconsciously. It could also be used willingly when mastering it."

"You were able to figure that out by just watching it? You must be pretty smart." Freddie said.

"I do get straight A's, and it appears that's a good thing seeing as I appear to be the intellectual one around here." Rin said.

"Hey, we can be smart too." Seth said. "So, you go to an all-girl's school and you're incredible smart. What else can you tell us about yourself?"

"Nothing. At least not until I know more about the situation." Rin said as she started walking. "I'm going to have a look around the area and learn more about this strange world. The more we know about this world, the more it might be of help to us."

"Hold on, Rin. If we're all in this together, shouldn't we get to know each other better?" Seth asked.

"Not interested." Rin said as she kept walking.

"What's with her?" Freddie questioned. "She just gave us the cold shoulder."

"Don't worry. I'll keep an eye on her." Cressmon said as she followed Rin. Rin doesn't appear to be interested in becoming friends with the boys.

Rin

Rin stepped outside the village to have a look around. It just looked like a normal open field, but she's aware there are some powerful and dangerous creatures out there.

"Our world might be different from your world, but it can also be a beautiful place." Rin turned around and noticed Cressmon followed her.

"Why are you following me?" Rin asked.

"In case you need me." Cressmon said.

"Why would I need you?" Rin said.

"Just as R-mon and Seth share a bond with each other, you and I share a bond with each other." Cressmon said. "I'm here if you need me."

"Don't bother." Rin said. "I've been on my own for a very long time. I never really relied on anyone or really needed anyone."

"I take it you're a loner." Cressmon said. "That doesn't mean you don't need someone. I'm here to help you when you need it."

"Like I said, don't bother." Rin said as she kept having a look around. 'I've been on my own for a long time. I don't really need anyone.' She thought as she remembered how things were for her back home.

...

Flashback

Rin wasn't just any smart girl. She was actually one of the best students at her school. That might seem like something great, but it wasn't for Rin.

"Very good, Rin." The teacher said as she solved a complicated equation on the wall.

"Figures."

"She's so perfect." Everyone was saying stuff like that in sarcasm. People seem to resent Rin because of her brains.

"Okay, everyone. I want you all to choose a partner." The teacher said. Everyone was picking their partners and asking people to help. Rin was all alone as she just sat at her desk and was left all alone. Even during gym class, the girls were working out with someone, but Rin was all by herself. It was like she was the odd one out. Even when she opened her locker, a bunch of garbage with a bunch of awful stuff written inside.

"Serves you right." Some girls laughed as they were the ones behind this. Rin might be the smartest girl in her whole school, but it seems more like a gift than a curse.

End of Flashback

...

"I've been able to take care of myself. I don't need help from anyone." Rin said as she came to terms with the fact that she's suppose to be alone.

"Rin..." Cressmon said as she was a little worried about her, but was trying to respect her boundaries.

"What's the matter, little girl?" Rin was surprised to hear that voice. She and Cressmon looked up and was met with Musyamon at the top of a hill. "All by yourself now? That's just perfect for me."

"What do you want?" Cressmon said as she was ready for a fight.

"I want to see if you humans have some special power or not." Musyamon said. "This big guy might be able to help me with that. Golemon!" He snapped his fingers and something emerged out of the ground. It was digimon that looked like it was made out of stone. Rin took out her D-scan to learn more about this digimon.

"Golemon: champion digimon, attacks are Sulfur Plume and Powerful Punch." Rin said.

"Figures for someone that has rocks for brains." Cressmon said.

"Golemon, have fun with your new toys. Play with them until they break." Musyamon said. Golemon raised it's fist and tried to smash both of them with it, but they both moved out of the way.

"Stay back, Rin. I'll take care of this." Cressmon said as she jumped into the air and tried to fight Golemon on her own. "Crescent Claw!" Cressmon tried to fight back, but her attacks just scratched against Golemon. Golemon gathered energy in it's fist for his next attack.

"Powerful Punch!" Cressmon got hit hard by the power of that attack and was flown through the air. She crashed against the ground and took some damage. Rin hurried over to her and tried to help her.

"Are you okay?" Rin asked.

"That attack has a terrible name, but it has some power to it." Cressmon said as she got up. Golemon moved closer to them and tried to crush them. Rin grabbed Cressmon and started running.

"Get them! Don't let them leave!" Musyamon called. Golemon chased after them and kept going after them. Rin and Cressmon were doing their best to try and stay out of Golemon's reach.

"Sun Beater!"

"Petit Flame!" R-mon and Vorvomon showed up and tried to push back Golemon.

"R-mon and Vorvomon?!" Rin said.

"Rin!" Seth called as he and Freddie showed up. "Are you and Cressmon okay?!"

"We heard the commotion and got out here as fast as we could." Freddie said. "Whose your new friend?"

"No friend of mine." Rin said.

"Luckily, I can now digivolve." R-mon said as he was ready for some action. "Come on, Seth. Get me to digivolve and I can take care of thsi guy."

"Right!" Seth claimed. "How do I do that exactly?" That wasn't the response R-mon was hoping for. Golemon didn't give them the chance to figure out how to do it. He swung his giant arm around and smacked it against Vorvomon and R-mon with it. Golemon tried to attack the humans again, but all of them split apart to avoid him. Golemon decided to go after Rin and Cressmon.

"Why did it have to be us he came after?" Rin rhetorically asked.

"You keep going. I'll handle this." Cressmon said as she turned around to fight Golemon.

"Wait! Don't!" Rin said, but Cressmon kept going. She jumped up to attack Golemon in the face, but he was able to knock her down. Cressmon couldn't do much against Golemon as she was now. That meant that nothing could stop Golemon from crushing her. He raised his fist and was going to do just that. "Cressmon!" Rin called as she didn't want Cressmon to get crushed because she's protecting her. That was when her D-scan began to glow and was giving energy to Cressmon.

"Synchro rate: 25%"

"Cressmon digivolve to..." Data gathered around Cressmon as she began to change forms. Cressmon changed into a wolf-like creature with white fur and had a lengthy body. She also had sharp claws with bands around her legs. "SilverFangmon!"

"Cressmon...?" Rin said. She was amazed at her new form. SilverFangmon was able to jump away from Golemon's attack. She howled with her new power.

"Let's dance, big boy." SilverFangmon said. She leaped at Golemon and was able to knock him back. Golemon tried to smash her again, but she was moving much faster and was much stronger than before.

"Sulfur Plume!" Golemon was unleashing volcanic gas from the craters on his back.

"I don't think so!" SilverFangmon said as she moved directly beneath Goldmon to protect herself from the gas and ready her next attack. "Wolf Flash!" SilverFangmon unleashed a powerful blast of light from her mouth. It blasted right through Golemon's stone body and he was reduced to data.

"Incredible...!" Rin said. The others witnessed it as well and were just impressed.

"Cressmon actually digivolve!" Seth said.

"Awesome!" Freddie said.

"I... I was just testing you!" Musyamon called as he made a retreat. Rin walked over to SilverFangmon and placed her hand against her. She was impressed with her power and her grace.

"Are you okay, Rin?" SilverFangmon asked.

"I am..." Rin said. "SilverFangmon...? That was incredible, but did I really help you digivolve?"

"You did. You opened yourself enough to allow me to digivolve." SilverFangmon said. "You might be use to being alone, but you don't have to be anymore. Know that I am here to help you." Rin isn't use to having people around, but she just might be warming up to the idea.

Seth: Next time, we're still trying to figure out this whole digivolution thing, not to mention we still like to go home. Rin and I are having some concerns, but it looks like Freddie is a carefree guy. It's like he's not scared or worried. That's fine, but that might end up being a problem when Musyamon quits playing around and launches an all-out attack. You don't want to miss it.
