For those who are waiting on the next chapter on my other fic, I'm trying really hard but I've been focusing more on this one. Who? It was the word Mario used a lot lately. Who could he turn to? Who did he have as an ally? Who would listen to what he had to say. After a few hours of hard thinking Mario realised the perfect smasher he could talk to. Corrin.

Corrin had a soft voice and a kind heart. She lived up in Silk Manor at the top of Mt Lux meaning The Mountain Of Light. To get to Silk Manor you had to use the TeleSmasher which would transport you to the outskirts of the mountain. You would then climb the mountain, pull the hidden lever and levitate up to the staircase into Silk Manor. Mario had done it once because Corrin had asked for Luigi's DuelBot. Corrin was a very sweet and understanding girl. She fought rarely, and only for "friendly" fights. She'd usually win, considering her powers were concealed to the rest of the smashers because of how ridiculously immense they were. Mario had seen her use them. She was a natural-born smasher. A prodigy. Everyone knew it. Mario kept silent though. Corrin would get afflicted by Smash authorites to enter tournaments or join elite parties. She didn't want to. The authorities had been using her as a destructive weapon until she decided enough was enough. Corrin escaped from the wrath of the authorites and landed herself in Chrom's Silk Manor. Chrom, feeling sorrow for Corrin, gifted her with Silk Manor and moved to his sanctuary nearby called Amethyst Emprys. It was just a tall, slender tower on the coast of Lake Emerald but Chrom wanted to be near Corrin in case of an emergency at Silk Manor. Mario respected Chrom. He was a kind, wholesome man. He was also a handsome young prince with wavy blue hair. Mario could tell Chrom wanted Corrin. When they were called for a meeting, Chrom would hope to stand next to Corrin. Chrom had once loved a girl called Cordelia but she had vanished long ago, scars still gripping to Chrom. When he met Corrin though, it all changed. Mario thought of them as a great duo and hoped they'd be together in the future.

Mario set up the TeleSmasher and used the remote pad to choose his location. He then plugged the long strip of chords into the circuit. He grabbed his bag of Smash Spirits for later to train. Mario then pressed another jumble of buttons and the TeleSmasher whirred to life. He clicked on the 'GO' button and Mario dispersed into a cloud of blue pixels.

Mario flashed and the cloud of blue pixels returned going in a reverse formation. Mario looked around. Mt Lux stood in front of him, casting shadows in a large, rigid triangle shape. He was a great climber and proceeded to clamber up the mountain. The clutched on to rocks that jutted out and launched off them and on to other stones. After a huge game of 'grab 'n launch' Mario finaly made it to the top of Mt Lux. He scrambled to an overhanging tree branch with vines extending off it and pushed past it. Behind the tree was a hidden lever covered in old moss and chipped pebbles. Mario reached over to pull it but cut himself on one of the chipped pebbles. Shit thought Mario, stumbling back. A small amount of blood dripped out. Mario wiped it on a tree vine. He then tried again, heaving, using all his energy to just get a lever to this other side. Mario's struggle began to fade and the lever slowly made it's way to the other side. Finally, making a large SCREECH sound, the lever flipped to the other side. A small white platform appeared out of the ground and Mario stepped into it.

The levitation device activated, Mario letting go of the sides and drifting off into the clouds. He could see the shadows of Silk Manor on the clouds and he knew he was on his way. Small puffy clouds greeted him and Mario walked on to them. His levitation powers perished and the clouds took him to the entrance of Silk Manor. Mario knocked on the door softly, hoping to not disturb Corrin. A little droid opened it up and greeted Mario.

" o" said the little droid swiftly (despite the way it is written). Mario assumed that all the little droid knew all the smashers and was progammed to say that. Although Mario didn't know why it said welcome back because they weren't here when Mario last visited.

"Mario? Oh! Hold on a second" It was Corrin shouting from down the colossal hallway. She came trotting over to Mario, her giant blade strapped to her back.

"What brings you here? I definitely returned the DuelBot. 2 months ago actually."

"No I need to talk to you about something. I don't have anyone else to talk to about it."

"Oh? Is that so? Then come, we'll make some herbal tea and talk about it." Corrin said already walking away. Mario trailed behind her and they arrived into what looked like the meeting room. It was enourmous, different jewel chandeliers hanging over the small white armchairs. Tables were lined up in the middle covered head to toe in different aesthetic designs. A little droid followed behind. "S8 would you mind getting us some tea?" the droid supposedly called S8 waddled away. Corrin led Mario into a little corner where two small brown armchairs were set up with a little coffeet table in the middle.

"So," she said, slumping down on the chair.

"What is it we need to talk about?"

"I destroyed my friendship with Yoshi. I NEED to fix it. But I don't know how! The only person I could think about talking to was you. Everyone else just thinks of me as a dickhead."

"Language Mario."

"Sorry, I just, I don't know who to talk to anymore,"

"I'm always here Mario. No matter what."

They sat, drank tea and Mario started to confess all he had done to Yoshi.

Corrin made him feel so much better.

Now he knew why Chrom liked her so much.
