A/N: This would take place at some point after an established relationship. Let's say that Anna, Valentin, and Charlotte live in Anna's house. The prompt is ballet.

It's cotton candy fluff, so fair warning if it's not your cuppa. ;) Sometimes, I just need to write a happy damn story. Haha.

"You want to get your leg higher."

Valentin had returned home and was looking for Anna when he overheard her in Charlotte's room, practicing ballet with her. He hung back, watching them interact with each other just outside of their line of vision.

Anna had bought the ballet practice barre and mirror as a gift for Charlotte. Anna had proven to be a positive influence on her. While she adored Charlotte, she was less indulgent than Nina had been and more willing to provide appropriate discipline and guidance.

Instead of wearing the bubble gum pink attire and high golden bun he was used to seeing Charlotte do ballet in, she and Anna were both dressed in leggings, t-shirts, and ponytails. Anna's feet were bare while Charlotte was practicing with her new demi pointe shoes.

"May I demonstrate?" Anna asked.

Charlotte stepped back from the barre to watch. With her left hand, Anna held the barre, and she extended her right arm into a long, elegant curve. With her back arched, she raised her right leg behind her high into the air in a perfectly straight line. She held the position for several moments.

Valentin watched Anna in fascination. He could never get over the grace of that woman and how she could move as delicately as a flitting fairy, yet also have the ability to effectively weaponize her lithe body.

The previously unattainable love of his life wore his diamond engagement ring was helping the daughter he loved more than anything in the world. How could he possibly ask for more?

"You make it look so easy." Charlotte sighed.

"I had years of training, sweetheart." Anna laughed, relaxing out of the arabesque. "More than you've been alive. Come on. Let's try again."

After trading places at the barre, Charlotte stretched out into an arabesque. Anna lightly pushed Charlotte's leg up slightly

higher.

"You see how that feels? That's where you want it. Hold it... Much better."

"Okay, I think I see now."

"Détends-toi et essaie de nouveau." Anna said.

Valentin smiled; he loved that Anna spoke French with them.

Charlotte put her leg back down, stretched out for a moment, then went back into an improved pose.

Anna backed away for a better look at the arabesque. "Très belle! Yes, just like that."

Valentin finally cleared his throat from the doorway. "I didn't know I was lucky enough to walk in on a Swan Lake rehearsal."

"Hey Papa!" Charlotte acknowledged her father, but continued to work on her arabesque.

"Bonjour, ma petite!"

Anna smiled and crossed the room to join her fiancé where he was standing. She greeted him with a hug.

"You need to save some of that flexibility for me." Valentin whispered in her ear, then placed a discreet kiss on her neck.

Anna laughed lightly. "I think I could do that."

Valentin took Anna by the hand and lead her into the hallway. "Run away with me."

"What?" Anna furrowed her brow in confusion.

"Let's fly to Paris right now and get married." Valentin brushed a stray hair from her eyes.

"I know you love nothing more than a grand romantic gesture, but what's brought this on?"

"I just don't want to wait any longer to be a family with you and Charlotte." Valentin replied. "Unless you wanted a big, fancy wedding…"

"No." Anna said quickly. She'd had enough bad luck at her attempt with Finn. "I don't."

"Big weddings haven't exactly worked for me either, so why not elope?"

"Well… Charlotte really wanted to be part of the wedding…" Anna cast a glance back into Charlotte's room, where Charlotte continued to practice her arabesque. "I think she would be very hurt if we eloped without her."

Valentin thought for a moment. " Okay, new plan then. We get married this weekend at Niagara Falls, just the three of us… Then, I whisk you away on a honeymoon anywhere in the world you want."

Anna looked up at him while she considered his suggestion.

"What do you think? Will you marry me in two days?" Valentin brought her hand up to his face and placed a kiss on the inside of her wrist.

Anna laid her hand on his cheek. "Yes. I will."

Valentin grinned and pulled her in for a kiss. "Shall we tell Charlotte?"

Anna looked over her shoulder at Charlotte, who had put her Air Pods in and continued to work at the barre. "Well, she's very focused right now. We don't want to disturb her.

"How about we go to our room and check on that flexibility instead then?" Valentin smirked, running his hands up and down Anna's sides.

"You're just full of great ideas today, aren't you?"

"I have my moments." Valentin said, lowering his head to kiss Anna's lips.

"Mm. You certainly do."
