"Which one of you is Hiccup Haddock?" Percy asked aloud.

To which a platinum blond girl answered,

"Duel me to find out"

Percy smiled as if the reply just made his day a whole lot interesting.

The girl had a pretty intimidating look with liquid gold eyes.

"So, weapons?", Percy inquired.

"Already on the duel, huh?" the girl said. "Anyways, my name is Minden"

"Percy"

"I would like to use a spear if you don't mind" Minden said winking in his direction. Unsure of her response, he said, "I would prefer a sword", pulling out riptide.

They both circled around, waiting for the other to start first and hoping to understand their play style. Minden took this as an opportunity and jabbed at him experimentally which Percy easily defended by makes short movements. He wanted to save energy. Eventually they left caution to the wind and started using all their skills. Percy had to give it to this girl as she was a lot better that she looked at first glance.

Minden used her spear from range and Percy knew he had to get close. He blocks her attacks and got in close. Minden attacks repeatedly with force causing Percy to withdraw.

'Enough of defense, time to get offensive', he thought. He clicked on his watch and his shield popped just in time to defend another fatal blow for Minden. He swung his sword in a deadly arc and pushed Minden until she had backed up into a corner. Minden just used acrobats and got out of the tricky situation.

He feigned a blow and quickly used the sword disarming technique he had first learnt from Luke. He was able to throw it away but Minden just back flipped and held her hand out. The spear flew back into her hand.

Percy just said, "That was a new one".

"Oh, there is a lot more", returned Minden.

She aimed her spear at him. Percy tried to move away. Unlucky for him, Minden had made the prediction and aimed the spear towards the right. Percy barely missed it. The spear grazed past him and made a good mark on his left arm. The throw was strong enough to tear his shirt away. He stood there in front of her bare.

The only thing he could say was, "I need a medic". "You need an armor", Minden corrected.

"You need to teach me that" Percy said weakly.

"Before that, was the tattoo always there on your body?"

"What tattoo?", Percy looked puzzled. And then it hit him. He looked down and sure enough there was a big tattoo that entwined all around his back starting from his abdomen. It twined all around his waist and ended near his neck covering his back. He could make out the markings and decipher it a blue dragon. It suspiciously looked like Luna in a fighting stance. It was glowing faded blue and to be frank, looked pretty damn sick.

"Umm...Yea I have this tattoo since I was fifteen. I remember." Percy said hastily.

"Do you know that you are a very bad liar?" Minden smirked.

Percy turned bright red due to embarrassment.

"So I am guessing that you know what this is because I for sure do not have a tattoo on my body", Percy accepted.

"I think you should meet Hiccup. but before that we need to fit you in a new shirt", Minden said before fanning her face in an attempt to fake expressions. Percy just gave her a smile and followed. He already had a liking for the eccentric but rather friendly people. 'All coins have two faces', a voice at the back of his mind said.

The village was in fact a viking paradise. The people spoke a different language. When Percy asked which city it was Minden looked puzzled. She said she had never heard someone ask such a question. They sure had a lot to discuss.

Hiccup was working in a furnace making new swords from heaps and heaps of metal. He was also the chief's son. Minden said that her crew included her, Illwern , Hiccup and his girlfriend Astrid.

They had reached the forge and Percy met Hiccup. He was big, burly arms and body clearly made from the strokes and beatings of the furnace.

"Hello, My name is Hiccup and welcome to Berk."

"I know my geography is bad but there is surely no berk on the globe." Percy joked.

"Globe?" Hiccup looked puzzled.

"Yeahhh...There is more bad news", Minden said."We need to talk immediately..."

Minden lead Percy to a watch tower where all the others were waiting. There he met a blond who had startlingly similar appearance to an elf. Introduced by the name Illwern, he reminded him of Jason. And Astrid, a girl who was by Hiccup. She had blue eyes and a amazon like structure. Percy would bet his bottom dollar that the girl was a warrior.

"Hello, we all know why we are here. Percy here, has been sent by Aphrodite." Hiccup explained."So Percy tell us what you know."

Percy thought that he was being introduced to camp all over again. He started safe and told that he had been sent here by Aphrodite to befriend them. During the journey, he had traveled through the Pacific ocean on a cargo and reached an island after which he built a raft to reach berk. Sure the story had a few loopholes but he couldn't muster enough courage to speak the truth.

"You know the story was quite interesting", Illwern said laughing.

Minden said,"I believe that I have already told you that you are a bad liar. So spill the beans."

"And I assume you own a dragon of some sort?" Astrid said.

Percy felt a chill down his spine. He hadn't said a word and they knew so much about him. Only one word came in his mind - 'Danger'
