HI GUYS! BK13 and BKSIS are back! It's been what 3 days since our last update? Anyway here is chapter 3 in all it's glory!

Violet POV:

Dad was right, we did need the capes. When we reapered we were standing outside of a large house, the ground was covered with snow and ice. I could see Nat shivering next to me. Mom and dad walked up to the door and rang the bell. A tune echoed through the house. After a few moments the door was opened by a woman. "Velma? Oh it's so nice to see you again!" she said enthusiastically, as she gave my mom a hug. "It's nice to see you too Juline. Sorry for coming so late."

"It's ok. You might want to come in, it's cold outside."

"Sorry can't, just dropping off my kids." She moved to the side so Juline could see us.

"Hello. What's your name?" She asked me. All of the sudden I felt shy.

"Um Violet, but you can call me Vi. This is Nat." I said pointing to my sister.

"Nice to meet you Violet. Hello Nat, I haven't seen you for years. The last time you were here you were much smaller." She said smiling at us

"We better get going." said mom

"Be good kids." Dad said, giving us a hug. He took out his wand thing and light leaped away with mom. "Come on in. I called someone from work to get you fixed up." Juline said, leading us into the house.

"Fixed up?" asked Nat, worriedly.

"Well, what your parents have told me you guys have been living in the forbidden cities almost your whole life. You've been collecting toxic chemicals for a while so I'm having a doctor clear them out and you'll be toxic free. She's a great friend, she knows your parents too." But I didn't really listen, I was too busy looking around the giant living room. "Oh do you like our house? It's pretty small." I still stared, her house was bigger than the mansion next to our school. KNOCK KNOCK. "Looks like she's here." Juline said running to the door. "Hello Livy." She said to the lady. She had long hair in tiny braids with jewels attached to them. "Hello Juline. So where are the kids?"

"There right here." She pointed towards us. "Girls, this is Livy, she's a doctor." Livy stepped towards and set her bag down. "Hello." She put out her hand so I could shake it.I felt her emotions, there was happiness and joy which I knew was good, but also stress and worry.

"Hi I'm Vi." I said, wondering why she was worried.

"Natalie." said my sister standing back up from the couch.

"Nice to meet you. Shall we get started?" I was worried that Livy would get out large needles to inject us with. Instead it turned out that all she did was give us these weird tasting drinks. "Well that's all the things I have. Juline, can you ask your husband for these serums." said Livy, giving Juline a small list. "Of course thanks for coming." She smiled at her and she smiled back. Once Livy was gone Juline said. Come along girls, you must be tired from the trip." She led us up a flight of stairs and through a hallway and said, "Natalie here's your room."

"Wait, what? I get my own room." she asked in disbelief.

"Of course, we have too many rooms anyway. You can share a room with your sister if you'd like."

"I've been sharing a room for 12 years. I would like my own room please." Nat said, walking into her room and flopping onto her bed. Juline nodded. Once Nat was situated in her new room we continued to walk down the hallway. "Here's your room, it's right next to one of my sons. If you need anything, wake me or my husband. The triplets wouldn't be much help. You can get Dex if you need to but waking him up takes a lot of work."

"Thanks. I've never had my own room."

"Good night Violet." She said as she walked up the hallway. "Wait. Um Juline I have a question."

She stopped "Yes dear?"

"Well um our parents told us that, if they're good friends with someone and they're fine with it we can call them auntie or uncle." I said quickly "So can I?" For a few seconds I thought she would say no but then she answered. "Of course, I'd love it if you did. It's been a while since I've been called auntie." She smiled sadly. I closed my door and looked around. The "small" room was not small, a queen bed sat in the middle of the room. It had these drapes that landed around my bed which made it look like a tent of blue fabric, crystal lights hanging on the drapes making it look like it was out of a fairy book. A small purple carpet led to a large comfy chair. I ran towards the bed and jumped unto it. "This is so cool!" I squealed. I went over to my bag and dumped it all out so I could grab my clothes. I changed into some other cloths and slipped into bed. It felt like it was made of water. I cuddled up with my teddy and had a dream about elves giving me presents from Santa.

Natalie POV:

I got up off my bed after Vi and Juline left. I looked around the room, there were large windows opposite the door that showed trees and mountains, a door off to the side that probably opened to the bathroom, a large shaggy carpet and my bed. My queen size bed with more pillows than anyone would ever need. It felt late, I should have gone to bed but instead I picked up my bag, grabbed my iPod out of the side and turned on my music. I began to systematically put away all my belongings into the dresser by the bathroom door. It only took me half an hour to set everything away and by the end of that I was getting sleepy. I changed into pjs and fell into my bed fast asleep.

I woke up with the sun shining in my eyes. Last night I forgot to close my curtains. I walked over to my dresser and grabbed my jeans and a tee. I grabbed a comb from my bag and walked down the stairs to the kitchen. Juline and a man were sitting around the kitchen island. "Hi Natalie. You're up early." Juline said, setting down what looked like toast with something purple on it.

"Yeah I forgot to close my curtains."

"Oh here you just have to clap your hands and then they close."

"Juline, why is another child living at our house?," the man next to her said humorously. "I thought four was enough."

"Sorry Kesler. This is Natalie, she is Velma and Jeric's daughter. She and her sister are staying with us for the time being."

"Nice to meet you Natalie." He held out his hand so I could shake it. "I'm guessing your sister is sleeping?" I nodded. I sat down next to Juline and took a bite of the toast thing. "Huh, taste like cinnamon and sugar." I devoured it in 5 bites. "That was so good." Kesler smiled and pushed the pile of the toast towards me. "Better have it before the triplets come." He winked. I plopped three more onto my plate. "Hey Aunt Juline. What time is it?" said Vi walking into the kitchen.

"I think it's around six." said Juline. "Vi I'd like you to meet my husband, Kesler."

"Hello. Want some food?" Kesler said, passing her a piece of the toast. "Sure." she said sleepily. Her eyes widened when she took her first bite. "This is soooo good." Juline smiled. "Wait right there." She dashed to the door and seconds later came back with small white boxes. "Here." She passed one to Vi and one to me. "Go on, open them." We looked inside the box, it had these pea sized toffee that filled the box and a small white pouch. I took the bag out and opened it. A little pin fell into my palm. "These are called Pratels." Juline said from next to Kesler. "They're a type of candy. In each box is a pin with an animal on it. Each creature represents a real one in real life. So if an animal was born another prattle would be made." I looked at the back of my pin, it said 'Murcat 3423/14385'. I walked over to Vi and read the back "You got a kelpie."

"We have some wild ones close by if you want to see them." said Kesler.

I popped one of the candies into my mouth. Flavor burst into my mouth. "Yum, taste like Reeses and toffee(A/N: Sorry if this isn't how you imagined them) mixed together." Vi nodded stuffing all of the candie into her mouth at once. "MOM! Do you know where my pratels went?" A boy came walking into the room. He had strawberry blond hair the same shade as Kesler's and periwinkle eyes. He yelped and blushed when he saw us. "Sorry I didn't know we had people over." He saw the boxes of Pratels and turned at Juline. "Guilty as charged." She raised her hands.

"Who are you?" He asked, looking back at us.

"I'm Vi." my sister said, around a mouthful of candy.

"Hi I'm Dex. What are you doing in our house?"

"Dex, this is Violet and Natalie Phage, they're staying with us for a while." Juline said. He smiled and sat down next to us. "Here, peace treaty." Violet said, passing Dex a box of unopened pratels.

"Thank you, I accept."

"So Juline said that you have triplets as siblings."

"Yeah they should be a wake.."

"MOM! REX IS STEPPING ON MY TOE!"

"Now." Three kids ran into the room. Two boys and a girl. "Mom!" the girl shouted glaring at the boys, "They're being mean to me again…." She drifted off and stared at me for a second. "Mom what are two girls doing here? I thought one was enough!" said one of the boys, throwing his hand up in the air. "Ok boys." Juline said restin a hand on their shoulders, "These are the daughters of one of my friends. Be nice."

"These are my annoying siblings, Bex, Lex and Rex. They're ten." said Dex from next to Vi.

"Hi." Vi said to Bex

"Hiiiii!" She replied "want to be friends?" (N/A from BKSIS: that's how I make friends.)

"Um sure?" Bex grinned, "Nat, Vi. I enrolled you to foxfire." said Juline. "What's foxfire? Also isn't that a mushroom?" asked Vi.

"Yes, but this Foxfire is a school. Your parents want you to go there so you can learn about the elven world. Nat you'll be in year 3. Vi you'll be in year 1."

"Cool. But if it's a school won't we need things." I said

"Yes you will. Your mother also told me that you don't have elven clothes so we'll go shopping." She took a sip of her tea

"When do we go?" said Vi excitedly.

"Sorry, but I have to go somewhere in the morning so we'll go shopping after lunch. Bex can you give Vi something to wear for the meantime?"

"Sure!" she said, grabbing Vi's hand bouncing up and down.

"Nat I think I have some clothes that will fit you." Juline said getting up from the chair. I nodded and Kesler said. "I can take them to the shop and we can meet you there."

After we had breakfast Juline dragged me to her bedroom. "Nat, I have some clothes for you. Do you have any color preferences?" She opened a very large wardrobe. "Steel blue?"

"Well I have a dress in that color but it's not that fancy." She pulled out a beautiful dress, it had small crystals on it. "Are you sure I should wear this? It looks expensive." I said fingering with the blue gems.

"It's not is just what people wear here."

"Well okay." I slipped into it and I looked at her floor length mirror. I looked like a princess. "Nat you look stunning. Bex never lets me dress her up." She grabbed a comb from the nightstand and combed my hair. After a few minutes my hair was in a waterfall braid. "There done." she said setting down the brush.

"Thanks for that." I touched my hair, "What do you think Vi and Bex are doing?"

"Let's find out."

We walked to a door that had signs on it. "Keep out you idiot brothers." Read one. We could hear giggling. "Girls can I come in?" Juline asked, knocking on the door. It opened and we walked inside. The room almost looked like mine. It had a large bed in the middle and a large shaggy carpet. On the dresser were bottles filled with goop and tubes bubbling. Vi looked different. She wore an embroidered violet silk dress and her hair was in a braid circling her head. She caught me staring. "Like it? It's a braid crown, Bex did it." I looked at Bex. She didn't wear anything close to what she had put on Vi. "Bex! When did you learn how to do that braid? It's so beautiful!" said Juline. Bex blushed. "I watched you do it to yourself so I could practice it."

"This is a really pretty dress, Bex. I wish I could keep it!"said Vi, admiring the embroidery. "Then it's yours. I don't like embroidery." Vi jumped up and squealed then gave Bex a big hug. "You're the best friend anyone could ask for." Bex blushed again. Someone knocked on the door "Come in!" said Bex. The door opened and in came Kesler . "You ladies look lovely. We're going in a few minutes so if you want to bring something, grab it."

"Are you sure this is ok to go to places like this?" I asked Juline pointing to my dress, "Yes it's fine. In Slurps and Burps you could wear an apron if you think you might mess it up, but everywhere else expects you to wear stuff like this."

"I guess…" I said. We all walked to a large chandelier, "This is the Leapmaster 250." Dex said standing next to the crystals, "It can go to 250 places, but we are just going to Mysterium." He walked under the chandelier and said. "Mysterium." A flash of light hit Dex and seconds after he had disappeared. "Vi, do you want to go first?" asked Kesler. "Yeah!" She walked over and shouted. "MYSTERIUM!" She too disappeared and then it was just me and kesler. "You don't have to shout to leap." Kesler said, rubbing his ears. "Sorry, Vi is always super enthusiastic."

"No it's fine, it is nice to see someone so excited for things we take for granted. I'll go now. Mysterium." Kesler glittered away. I walked under the twinkling lights and whispered "Mysterium."

Violet POV:

I looked around, shocked by the change of scenery. We were surrounded by buildings. Kesler walked down a long narrow street to a building that stood out from all the rest. It was painted bright colors with a curved roof, like in a nursery rhyme. "You can help if you want." Kesler said walking to the back of the shop, "Dex,help me make some Fade fuel."

"What's that?" I asked, scanning the shelves.

"It's something that helps people if they fade during a light leap." He said grabbing some vials from behind the lab and setting them next to a large beaker. "Nat, can you grab that orange vial?"

"This one?" Nat said holding up the gloopy orange vial.

"Yes." Kesler turned on what looked like a bunsen burner and handed Dex a glowing yellow bottle, "Dex put amarallitine in when I say so. Nat Vi could you go to the supplies room and get the vials on the second shelf, third box and the copper tools from the case in the back."

"Ok." Nat and I said as we headed to the supplies room. Nat grabbed the box and handed it to me, "Here you take this, I'll get the tools." I followed her to the back, there were boxes and boxes full of all sorts of tools. "This one says copper. Hopefully he ment this one." Nat grabbed the box, and we turned around to go back. Then we heard the burp of the shop door opening.
