It was 2 hours since Lea had her seizure, as Shaun was asleep in a chair, holding her hand, when Claire comes in, when he woke up.
"Sorry, for waking you"
"It's ok, Claire. Do you have Lea's results of why she had a seizure?"
"Yes…uh…can we talk in the hallway?"
Shaun nodded as he kissed Lea's hand and went into the hall with Claire.
Claire looked at the results again and took a deep breath, but Shaun knew something was wrong, "the results aren't good…am I right, Claire?"
She shook her head, "we found a tumor in her neck."
Shaun clenched his hands together, and tried to hold back the tears, "that would explain the neck pain she has been having"
Claire nodded, "if we remove the tumor now, we can immediately put her on chemo, since its at a stage 2."
Shaun nodded, "yes, let's do it now"
"Shaun?"
He turned and saw Lea awake, "Lea…your awake"
She reaches for him, "what happened?"
"You had a seizure. We did tests and we found a tumor in your neck" Claire said
"That explains the neck pain. Can it be removed?"
"Yes, Claire just informed me, they can immediately do surgery and get it removed."
Lea nodded, "let's get it done and over with"
Claire nodded and within half an hour they prepared and got Lea into surgery. While in surgery, Shaun called Debbie to see how Maddie was doing and he was relieved that she was a complete angel. After he fell asleep for a bit, but was woken up by Claire.
"Shaun, wake up"
"Lea?"
"The surgery went excellent, and she will be fine."
"Where is she? I need to see her?"
"They are just bringing her in now"
"Thank you, again"
"You're welcome"
A few minutes later, they brought Lea in her room, still sleeping, as he pulls his chair up to her bed and holds her hand and gives it a kiss.
5 minutes she wakes up, looking around very confused and sees Shaun, "Lea, the surgery was a success."
She pulls away from him, "who are you and what surgery?"
"What…I'm Shaun, your boyfriend"
"No, I don't know you…why I am here? What did you do to me? Help, someone" she screamed and began ripping out her iv out her arm, running down the hall.
"Lea, wait!" he said as he chased her down the hallway
"Please, help me!" she screamed
