Chapter 2: Managerial tips
Tip #1:
A work ending with a Bad result leads to a certain decrease in the Qliphoth Counter.
Reminder to any personel that the Qliphoth Counter is a counter that determines the timing of the Abnormality breaching. If it reaches Zero, prepare a suppression.
Tip #2:
Repression work will ALWAYS lead to a Bad result. So don't be sadistic, Manager.
Tip #3:
Getting a Good Result seems impossible with any employee but one we'll talk about in a later tip. Even if all PE Boxes are positive the result will be neutral.
Another reminder: PE Boxes are the number of boxes of Energy that an Abnormality produces. The end result determines if a work ended in a bad, neutral or good result. The more boxes filled positively, the better the result.
Tip #4:
When Breaching, the 5in1 Bride transforms into a beast and starts roaming the Facility, destroying everything on her way. She's not extremely powerful like other Abnormalities known by the Company, but it takes a long time to suppress. There is a much faster and almost immediate way to deal with her though and it's by presenting her O-01-XX5-1, AKA 'the Groom'
Tip #5:
The 'Groom' is a designated employee randomly chosen by the 5in1Bride who has become her 'favorite'. Only they can get good results from work and only they can calm down the Abnormality when breaching by contact.
Tip #6:
But as her 'favorite', the employee must regularly work on the Abnormality or her Qliphoth Counter will decrease automatically.
"And another day's done!" Fuutarou sighed as he immediately headed to the changing rooms so he could unequip the EGO armor he was wearing.
"Hey kid! Wait for me!" another employee quickly joined him.
"Mc-Ilton-senpai."
"Good job today, as usual." Connor Mc-Ilton complimented with a pad on the younger man's back.
"Well, the 5in1 Bride chose me to be the 'Groom' again today. So I had to go back there regularly." the young man explained as he opened the door to the changing room where other male employees were changing clothes.
"Oh! Fuutarou! How was your day?" a masked employee exclaimed when he saw the young man, putting a giant blue rifle in a locker.
"As I said to Mc-Ilton-senpai earlier, I was chosen as the 'Groom' again."
"Ah, so a rather smooth day then, eh?"
"That's right, Lucas." he nodded as he took off a blue coat and put it in a locker next to Lucas.
Lucas was also a young Abnormality worker employee at Lobotomy Corporation, like Fuutarou. He had dark purple hair that he dyed himself and had a white creepy mask that hid his face completely. He always had it on him ever since he received this 'gift' from a very dangerous Abnormality.
"Hey, we're going Bowling tonight, wanna come?" the purple haired man asked.
"Sorry, I have something to do tonight."
"Again?" Connor asked.
"Yes. Sorry." Fuutarou excused himself as he walked out.
And good thing he didn't look back… Or else he would have noticed that every single employee in the room had their heads turned towards him, eyes judging and some sort of scowl on their faces.
FOLLOWING MANAGERIAL TIPS ARE TO BE HIDDEN FROM EMPLOYEE FUUTAROU UESUGI'S EYES AT ALL COST
Tip #7:
The Groom isn't actually chosen by random. It is always one and only employee: Fuutarou Uesugi. And the reason is simple: he is part of the Abnormality. He is human, which is why having him stay in a containment room is useless since he doesn't produce energy. So having him work as an employee is the best course of action.
Tip #8:
So why not have him stay with the Bride? Well because of the very first tests before we erased both memories! The two of them have a common past and it has been shown that if they both remember they will try to escape the Facility by all means, by which we mean by killing, destroying and releasing Abnormalities. The Bride's memories about her past with him are near impossible to erase, probably because of her nature as an Abnormality. But Fuutarou's are easy to manipulate, he is human after all. Having only one of them remember also is good for the Facility's purpose to collect energy as the Bride will want to see him more often to 'help' him.
Tip #9:
If Fuutarou starts to show signs of recollection of his real past, he must be administered amnesiacs immediately before the start of another day of work and any items he had that he could have tempered in some way has to be destroyed.
"What? You seriously invited him to go bowling with us!?" A small woman with green hair exclaimed.
"Well yeah… I thought that since he mustn't remember… We could distract him? Plus he's a nice guy." Lucas explained.
"But he's part of an Abnormality!"
"Y-Yeah but I mean… He risks his life during Abnormality breaches like any of us! He works on Abnormalities like the rest of us! H-He is one of us, no?" the purpled haired young man said.
"I wouldn't say that! We have to protect him after all… Dunno what the other monster would react if its 'lover' dies…" The green haired woman grumbled.
"Pauline, please calm down. He's as human as you and I. He is connected to the Bride, yeah… But… He's also a coworker. We should treat him as such." Connor sighed, sitting next to Lucas.
"Hrmm… Fine… I'll make an effort… hop!... STRIKE!" the woman, Pauline, cheered as she managed to do yet another strike, paling her coworkers and friends.
"Oh come on! How are we supposed to catch up?!" Connor complained.
"I'll try to connect with Fuutarou again tomorrow…" Lucas said as he grabbed the next bowling ball, it was his turn and he was way behind everyone else.
FOLLOWING MANAGERIAL TIP IS FOR MANAGER LEVEL EYES ONLY
Tip #10:
DO NOT LET FUUTAROU UESUGI DIE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES!
Protect the Groom from death… There is no telling on the level of damage a grieving Beast Bride would do in one Facility. Do not hesitate to use the 'Restart' protocol if the event is happening.
Baka's notes: A very short chapter I'm afraid.
I know what I'm trying to do in the story but I don't know how to write it down...
Anyway, next update will either be of Slayers or Despair in Lobotomy
