Chapter Three:
Let The Game Begin
The group tried to think of everyway possible to get out of their prison, but every plan seemed to be out of question, too risky. The worst problem was that they didn't have their wands at the moment. And any of their plans were useless without a wand.
And before they knew it, the evening turned to night and night turned to morning.
When James woke up the next day, he found himself inside what seemed to be a abandoned cave.
The next thing he noticed was that he wasn't alone. Right next to him laid Snape asleep, while their hands were handcuffed to eachother. James grimaced at the thought, "Great, of all people it had to be Snivellous."
The very next second, Severus also started to wake up.
"Potter? Why are our hands handcuffed?" Snape asked, rubbing his eyes from the only available hand.
"Good morning to you too." Replied James, which had Snape rolling his eyes.
"So you are my partner?" Asked Severus.
"Seems like so." Answered James, "I am getting out of this cave, so get up."
As much as Severus didn't wanted to listen to James, he knew they had to get out of the cave, so he did as asked.
The two not-currently-enemies walked together side by side, not that they another choice.
Just as they walked out, they were welcomed by a man.
The man almost looked like Severus, but was definitely much older. He held a bottle of brandy in his left arm, a whip in right. Anyone could tell that the man was drunk and raging with anger.
The sight had Severus shiver from fear, while James understood who the man was. Well atleast what he was, cause he chanted the spell,
"Riddiculus!"
The man then turned into a black cloud and dissapeared.
"Was that your father?" Questioned James.
Severus stayed silent, but his silence on its own was the answer to his arch enemy's question. He didn't wanted his worst enemy to know of his worst fear, but now he did.
"Great, now he won't ever stop taunting me." Thought Severus bitterly.
When Lily woke up, Sirius was asleep behind her.
The two of them had ended up near a gigantic tree, unaware of when it happened.
"Sirius? Sirius! Wake up!" Lily shouted, shaking him trying to get him to wake up.
"Lily?" The dog animagus started to wake up, "Wait, where are you?"
"What are you talking about. I am literally infront of your face." Lily spoke.
"You are? Why can't I see you? Or anything really?" Asked Sirius.
"You can't see anything?" Asked Lily, concerned.
"Yeah, all I can see is black. Pretty much nothing but black everywhere." Replied Sirius.
"Well this is going to be difficult." Commented Lily.
"Lily? Are there bushes or walls?" Questioned Sirius.
"Why would you ask me that?" Lily asked, irritated.
"Well if they're bushes then it would be easier for me to follow, but if they're walls then it's probably not a good idea to follow them unless I want to get hit myself." Sirius spoke.
Lily then felt a little guilty at be annoyed at his very reasonable question and replied, "There are a few things like trees and grass, but their are concrete walls."
Then Lily took his arm, leading him so he'd stay with her and won't get lost.
Remus woke up near a lake, Narcissa Black lying near him.
Swiftly he got up on his feet and shook Narcissa gently, trying to wake her up.
"Huh?" Narcissa woke up, before looking at Remus and asking, "Right Remus are you? We are where?"
Then she frowned, noticing the way she spoke and remarked, "This like talking I am why?"
Remus frowned as well, before speaking, "I guess that mystery man placed a spell on you to speak backwards. Which would mean-*
"Maze his in are we. Partners as." Replied Narcissa.
"Let's get up and try to find everyone else." Remus suggested, as the two got up and went finding the rest of the gang.
Both Bellatrix Black and Regulas Black woke up at the same time near a rocky land, and seemingly found a piece of paper near them.
"Oh thank god, I feared I'd had one of those irritating Gryffindorks for partner!" Bellatrix exclaimed in joy and relief.
Regulas rolled his eyes at his dramatic cousin and picked up paper, which had text written in red ink. "Who the hell uses red ink besides teachers?" He thought.
Bellatrix, who noticed her cousin deep in thought, snapped, "Are you going to read what's written in it or what?"
Regulas rolled his eyes and started to read, "Hello Blacks, good to know that you have woken up. Now since your group has the youngest participant, I decided to go easy on you by not giving either one of you any disability."
"Thanks for being born late Reggie!" Bellatrix cheered.
Regulas raised his brow at her and spoke, "You don't even know what that's supposed to mean."
"Yeah, but I don't care. Now get up, time for fun, we've got some heads to decapitate!" Bellatrix exclaimed.
Regulas rolled his eyes and sighed, "Only you can find this fun."
