Tony Ziva and Torres head down the corridor they here groan and punches. When they run into the room it's Ducky. He's smashing someone's head with an umbrella. That will teach you to be rude where are your manners.
Then he sees the team oh good yous are here I'm glad yous are all ok where's Bishop and Mcgee. Ziva says Bishop is with Gibbs and we're not sure about Mcgee yet but I'm sure he's fine.
Tony then says ducky I'm impressed old chap.
That's when Ziva says I think I hear someone coming to the team goes silent. Ziva peeks from the corner and she spots the person and goes and spinning heel kicks them they are knocked out instantly.
Torres says I'm impressed but I would have done it better.
The Leaves Ducky in the room safe and secure and they carry on down the corridor. That's when Tony says I think we should have brought Ducky he is very handy with an umbrella. That's when the team here's gunshots bang bang bang bang they rush to the room and wait by the door. Ziva asks if anyone has a gun Torres says yes I grabbed two of some of the guys I took out he hands it over to Ziva. Then Tony grabs his from the back of his jeans then he says so what's the plan.
Ziva then says I'm going to kick down the door and when I do I'm gonna shoot in the middle Tong you shoot left Torres you can shoot to the right. Then she says three two one go. Then she kicks down the door she shoots the guy in the middle Tony shoots the guy on the left and Torres shoots the guy on the right.
Torres checks the backroom there is no sign of Mcgee.
Torres checks his phone he then says to Tony and Ziva Guys I've got a weird message from Mcgee I think it might be directions. It says from ward entrance left right right right left left-right.
Ziva then says well we go back to the beginning and follow them hopefully Mcgee will be they're.
The team heads back to the beginning and they begin to follow Mcgees possible Route to him. They are on the final Right they see a group of men around six they are all spread out and they see a room. Tony says that's where Mcgee must be.
Ziva then says there must be between six or eight of them she then says Torres can you fight in the dark like pitch black you can't see. There's then responds with I use to be able to I'm sure I will get the hang of it again. Then Tony says what about me Ziva says Tony you go and cut the lights and then turn them back on after five minutes. Tony then says five minutes both of yous are going to take out eight guys in five minutes I can't wait to hear about this.
Tony heads off to find the generator so he can cut the lights that leaves Ziva and Torres waiting. Torres checks his watch its been ten minutes hopefully he cuts the lights soon. So Torres how did you get the scar on your face. Torres then says I got it in Mexico when Gibbs when the operation in Mexico happened. Ziva then says so Nick how're you sleeping. Nick then says I'm sleeping fine. Ziva then says Torres don't lie to me I can tell you then the lights go out.
Torres then says action time then he says Ziva you take left I take right then we both take the middle if there is any left there. Torres can partially see the men on his side due to them having little flashlights on. He takes out the first one by checking him out he takes out the second by two strikes he sweeps the leg then punches him in the face. The third one catches Torres by surprise a little he gives him a challenge They go back and forth with strikes but Torres gets the upper hand. The fourth one on Torres side Gives him a run for his money he gets a good shot on the nose of Torres his nose bleeds a little but Torres chokes him out.
That's when the lights come back on it takes Torres a few seconds for his eyes to adjust. That's when he sees Ziva she has taken out all the guys on her side as well. Both of them nod in approval showing a sign of respect for there fighting abilities. Torres pulls out his gun and Ziva does the same they head towards the door. Torres goes to kick open the door when it comes flying towards him and it lies on top of him. He Is dazed for a second and then he sees Ziva fighting with a man he crawls to his gun and shoots the guy in the knee cap.
The guy falls down and Ziva then knocks him out to finish the job. She then walks over to Torres and she says thanks and are you okay he responds with yes I'm fine he then gets back up. They go and enter the room and they see Mcgee duck-taped to a chair then there is a phone strapped to his chest. Ziva checks on Mcgee and unites him Torres takes the phone and phones the only number on it.
He then here's a voice hello Torres how's things Torres responds with hi Roxane. She then says this little stunt at the hospital was just to get your attention and show we can take out Gibbs and your team whenever we want to and we will eventually. That's when the phone goes silent that's when Torres throws it against the wall dam dam dam dam dam dam.
Tony says Torres what is it, Torres then says the cartel they did all of this they did this to send a message. They are trying to show that they can get us whenever they want. Tony then says well then I guess we should go and find the others and then get out of here.
They wake up McGee he is very out of it he has an obvious concussion Tony and Torres Grab him and carry him they end up carrying him back to Gibbses room Ziva has gone to get Ducky. They end up Placing him on a chair Tony sits with him and try and gets him to come to.
Torres knocks on the door and says Bishop it's clear to come out we got them. After a few seconds, he slowly hears the locks turning and then the door opens.
Bishop then appears from behind the door and says is it safe. Torres says yes it's safe all of them have been taken care of most of them will be arrested once they wake up others six foot under. Bishop then says who did this and why Torres then says the cartel did this to send a message to say they could get us anytime they want to. Torres says to Bishop go and see the team I'm just gonna sit with the boss for a while.
Torres enters the room and closes the door he grabs a chair and sits next to Gibbs. He sits down and stares for a while and then he says Boss I'm struggling because there are things I haven't told you or the team. I'm struggling I'm having dreams I'm not sleeping much and I feel guilty because it's my fault what happened to you. If I had of stopped this year's Then there is a knock on the door it's Ziva. She comes into the room and says Nick I hope I'm not disturbing you but we have to go because the hospital has to be shut down. So that they can clean things up as fast as possible so that the hospital can get up and running so that they can get back to operations and tending to people. We also have to go to Ncis to give statements and fill out paperwork and incident reports and take statements from me and Tony since we're not agents anymore.
Torres heads back to headquarters Ducky travels with him they are stuck in traffic. Torres asks so how's Phin doing how's he coping. Ducky then replies with He is doing ok he misses Gibbs and he is worried. My friend Andrew is looking after him. Ducky then says, Torres how're you doing my boy Torres replies with I'm Fine Ducky. That's when Ducky says, Torres, what happened to your hand it looks like it's been recently cut its starting to swell and the cuts will begin to bruise I would recommend getting bandaged around the knuckle area.
Torres then says I tripped and fell that's why it's cut. Nick, I think your telling porky pies but I'm not gonna push my luck but I'm here if you need to talk. They arrive at headquarters Ducky heads inside and Torres follows Ducky heads of his way and Torres gets in the elevator.
He's in the elevator and presses the button for what floor he wants to go to. The doors open and he sees Mcgee and Bishop he sits down at his desk and Mcgee says, Torres, you have to interview Tony about what happened at the hospital then I've got to interview Ziva. Torres nods then he goes and to interview Tony.
Torres opens the door and sees Tony and then he sits down. He opens the folder on Tony and says Mr Tony Dinozzo you were at the hospital today can you please tell me what happened. Tony then replies with actually the names Dinozzo Tony Dinozzo Torres smirks. Tony then says I went to the hospital today to go and see a friend of mine Leroy Jethro Gibbs close friends were also there. Their names are Timothy Mcgee Eleonor Bishop Donald Malard Ziva David and Nick Torres.
I then went outside to see Nick Torres we talked for five minutes and then we heard gunfire we rushed inside to see what was going on and then we proceeded to find our friends and then we disarmed the men and then we got out of the hospital. Torres then says thank you Mr Dinozzo for your statement we will call you if we have any more questions he shakes his hand then he gets up and leaves.
Torres checks his watch it's five o'clock at night time. He then heads back to the office Mcgee is the only one there. Torres says sorry I forgot to ask but shouldn't you be at the hospital your concussion. Mcgee then says I decided to not get it checked out I have work to do with me being the senior agent whilst boss is on his absence. Mcgee then says Nick you can go it's late I will see you tomorrow.
Nick leaves and gets into his car he decides to go to the gym he thinks to himself poor Mcgee is stressed with having to do the bosses job. Torres starts his car and heads to the gym. when he arrives he sees that it is still open he grabs his bag and heads in one is there he gets changed and he gets on his boxing gloves and starts hitting the boxing bag. He begins to hit it harder then he starts having flashes as in-memory flashes he is picturing Gibbs lying there in the hospital bed he begins to hit harder. He then pictures the cartel he begins to hit even harder he Is beginning to sweat a lot.
Torres is not a man that talks about his emotions so this is a way for him to think about his emotions and process stuff. Torres begins to think again and he thinks about Roxane and he begins to dive deeper into this and that's when he hears a voice. Hi Nick How're you then Nick says hi Angelo what are you doing here.
Then Torres turns around and says it's been a long time the last time I saw you was when I was undercover. Yeah Nick me and you were tight then we were like brothers and then you betrayed us and we found out you were undercover. Look, Angelo, I don't mean to be rude but what do you want are you hear to shoot me or get revenge. No, Nick, I'm not here to kill you I'm just hear to then he smacks Nick in the face.
The two of them begin to brawl and then Nick easily gets the upper hand and spears, Angelo, into a glass mirror. Angelo falls to the floor and Nick says so what do you want. Nick I was just hear to say hi and get a few shots in on you it certainly made me feel better he begins to chuckle. Im here to tell you that the cartel is gaining back their reputation and are growing in numbers once again. He says don't worry I'm not here to kill you or anything I just thought I would repay the favour for you saving my ass all that years ago.
Torres then says ok then am I going to have to take you in or are you done with this getting a few shots on me thing. Angelo nods and says even though you put me in prison I still care for you at one point you were like a brother to me I yous to be angry. Look Nick If you ever want to talk here's my number.
Torres then checks the time it's seven o'clock he goes and sees The gym owner, Mick, he's an old man around seventy years old Torres knocks on the door and there's no reply. Torres enters the room and he sees Mick sleeping Torres leaves money for the mirror and leaves a note then he heads home.
Torres unlocks his door to his apartment he goes straight to the kitchen and grabs a beer from the fridge he goes and sits down he takes a few swigs from the beer then he puts it down. He heads back to the kitchen and makes himself some dinner he makes the classic beans on toast. he goes and sits down and turns on the television he switches the channel to an action movie he begins to watch and eat his food and drink his beer that's when he gets a message on his phone.
The message reads Bang bang that's when bullets begin to come flying through Nicks apartment window he instantly drops to the floor and crawls to his front door. He pulls his gun out of his holster and opens the door slightly and begins to shoot at the vehicle that's when it drives off.
Nick closes the door and then he checks his watch it's Eight-thirty then Nick says I will call this in tomorrow I'm off to bed. It's the next morning Nick turns over and looks at his clock it's five-thirty in the morning. Nick then gets out of bed and heads for a shower then he gets dressed into his running clothes then he brushes his teeth then he gets breakfast. He decides to have some Oatmeal and strawberries once he is finished that he heads off for a run.
He leaves his apartment and locks his door then he heads off for his run he runs three miles. He arrives back at his apartment and there are police cars there and there are Ncis vehicles there. He walks up to the yellow tape and says can I get into to my apartment the officer looks at him then lets him through. He then sees Mcgee and bishop they are in his apartment waiting he goes in. Mcgee then says thank God your okay where have you been. I was off for my morning run and then I came back here. Mcgee then says when did this happen well it happened last night at around nine o'clock. Why didn't you call it in Tim I was going to call it in this morning and anyway I'm fine.
Mcgee then says well Nick we have to be careful with the cartel so next time call it in right away. Bishop then says I'm glad your okay Nick then he says thanks bishop.
Mcgee then says so tell me what happened as in did you see any of the shooters the car model. I came back home from the gym I made my self some supper I turned on the television then ten-fifteen minutes later the shots started. the shots started and I jamp onto the floor I grabbed my gun opened the door slightly then I returned fire. The vehicle was a black SUV there was no number plate all the men were wearing masks I managed to get a few shots of. Also right before the shooting started I got a message on my phone it said bang bang.
Mcgees finishes writing all this stuff down then he says we know it's the cartel but we have no way to track these shooters. Then Mcgees face lights up and says Nick this is a long shot but we might be able to track there phone or get some kind of name. Nick gives his phone to Mcgee Then Bishop and Mcgee head back to headquarters but Nick does not he gives Angelo a call. Hey, Angelo, it's Nick Torres I was just wondering if we could meet up I have some questions for you. He takes a second to reply but then he says Sure meet me at a cafe meet me at Carlos cafe yeah I know the place see you soon.
Nick gets in his car and he heads to Carlos cafe it takes him fifty minutes to get there due to traffic. He gets out of his car and heads into the cafe. He has a look around and sees gang tattoos a lot of these guys are part of gangs he sees Angelo and goes over to him. Hi, Angelo, I didn't know this cafe was crime central. Well, Nick, this is a safe zone for me because if you try and arrest me for anything then things won't go so well for you. So Nick what do you want why did you call me. Well, last night someone went and shot up my apartment and I was just wondering if you knew anything.
Angelo Looks down then he says let's say if I do know something what do I get because I'm no snitch. And last night when I came to see you that was common courtesy and letting you know that I'm in town. Nick looks at him and says well Angelo what do you get well you don't get an ass-whooping. None of your friends get done for carrying a non registered firearm because on top of there records they would be going to prison.
Well, Nick, it's nice to see that you have not lost your set that's a very bold statement you made there. Now you see Nick normally if anyone spoke to me like that things would not end so well but since you asked nicely I may know the people who were involved but I'm still not going to tell you because I repaid my debt telling you about the cartel.
Look, Angelo, I'm trying to make this easy for you but if you're going to make it difficult then fine. Torres then slams Angelos head against the table and says put your hands behind your back I'm bringing you in for questioning. That's when all of the men in the cafe stand up and pull out there guns. Well then are you, men, really going to shoot a federal agent or are you going to let me take your friend in. All of the men keep their guns raised but then Angelo says come on put your guns down its ok I will be back.
Torres Looks around and sees the men begin to lower their guns and sit down. Torres picks Angelo of the table and he walks him to the exit of the cafe the men begin to look at him as they walk past he loads him into the car.
They arrive at headquarters and he unloads him out of the car he heads up to headquarters and he puts him in the interrogation room. Mcgee comes up to him and asks whos this and where did you go. Tim the guy's name is Angelo and he was an enforcer for the cartel when I was undercover he went to Jail for 15 years he spent 12 years in Jail he got out of prison and started his own cartel or gang. He came to visit me last night to warn me about the cartel today I went and asked him if he knew anything he said he does so I brought him in since he would talk.
Ok, Nick, this guy was an enforcer for the cartel and you put him and jail and he says about the cartel why. Well, when we were in the cartel I saved his life so he said he was repaying the favour. And when I went to the cafe this morning he said he knew something but he had already repaid his debt to me so I took him in for questioning.
Okay, Nick, this is good bring this guy in and telling me this but I can't let you do this interview it's too personal it could affect your judgement. Look, Tim, I know this guy I know how he thinks let me do this. No Nick I can't I'm sorry Bishop can do it me and you can observe. Fine Mcgee that's fine I will let Bishop do it.
Torres and Mcgee Go into the observing room that views the interrogation. Bishop goes into the room and sits down she opens his file and has a quick read. So Mr Angelo Garcia lets see you have some criminal record if I was not a federal officer I would be impressed. Let's see you have been in prison for assault grievous bodily harm arson etc and your biggest charge is murder and you got fifteen years. Oh yes, and you're on parol and if you even get a parking ticket you go back to prison so I would recommend answering my questions.
Agent Nick Torres brang you in for questioning today he believes that you know or we're involved in his attempted murder so what do you know. Well, Agent Blondie, I don't know what you are talking about. Well first of all my name is agent Bishop, not blondie and second of all do you want to go back to prison how would your wife and children cope.
He slams his fist on the table and says don't you dare talk about my family you pig he spits on the floor. Look, Angelo, there are two ways this goes you tell us what you know we don't arrest you and hand you over to the FBI. The second choice we assist the FBI to raid your house and properties and send you back to prison.
Because the thing is Angelo we can hold you for questioning because you know something about the shooting of a Ncis agent. But as soon as you don't comply we hand you over to the FBI they find all the dirt on you and you are in prison for life. But since your not complying I guess it's option two well Mr Garcia good luck she stands up and walks off and then Angelo says wait. She turns around and sits back down he looks down. Then he says before I say anything this did not come from me I won't testify in court or anything.
A few days ago I got a call from Roxane Martinez she said that her brothers wanted to see me. I go and I see them they say that there back for revenge on Nick and to take out your Ncis team. They then said that they were planning a shooting and if I could spare a few men I said that I could not due to stuff then they said that they would be in touch for any future help. Bishop then says where did you go to see them I went to a club to see them it was called the Pheonix.
What were the names of her brothers it's just for paperwork I'm asking? Her brother's names where Diego and Hugo Diego is the boss and his brother Hugo is like the underboss and muscle. Well, Angelo thanks for complying we won't call you to court and keep your name private in the files well I assume I will be seeing you soon so by for now.
Bishop walks out and meets up with Torres and Mcgee. Torres says well let's go to this Phoenix club Mcgee then says okay Bishop and Torres you go to the club.
Bishop and Torres head off to the club they are driving to the club and they are stuck in traffic. Bishop says to Nick so what happened to your hand and don't lie by saying you fell or something. Torres then says I went and I broke my mirror by punching it.
Bishop is pleased and surprised that Nick has opened up to her she has a little smile on her face. Then Nick says how're you doing and don't lie to me I know you have not been sleeping and you feel guilty about something. She looks down and then says dam you Nick you know me so well I suppose I have to say since you spoke to me. She then says I have not been sleeping the best I've been having dreams and stuff and flashbacks. I feel guilty for what happened to Gibs it's my fault if I had of been faster then he would have not been shot I was not fast enough he went and he saved me and I could not save him I failed him.
Her eyes begin to fill with tears and she begins to get a bit upset whilst driving Nick hugs her. They arrive at the club by now Bishop has cleaned her self up she is no longer upset both of them get out of there car and put on their caps.
They go up to the doors of the club and there locked Bishop checks the time on her watch it's five o'clock at night the club does not open until half-past seven. Bishop thinks to herself then she says, Nick how do you fancy go clubbing. Nick looks confused what do you mean Bishop. Well think about it this club is probably run or a cartel is involved with the club. Which means that they won't talk or say anything about them being there so if we go undercover in this club then we might see the cartel members and we will get some information and I get to see your dance moves.
Well, Bishop, that's a good plan I will publicly ruin my image by acting drunk if it means we get this guy but don't tell anyone Im doing this. Nick then says ok I'm gonna go and do this once you see a window you go and the first thing you do is search him for a gun and then arrest him. Then we take him in and Bishop good idea with us going undercover in this club because if not we would not have been able to find the owner or there would be excuses and stuff. Nick then says I will I you up at half past six.
Its half past six and Nick pulls up at Ellies hes in a nice outfit and he has his hair extra nice. He then sees Ellie come out she looks stunning shes in a dress and her hair is all done. He says Ellie you look beautiful she blushes. They arrive at the club and they go inside. They order some drinks and they begin to talk about things. Theres an obvious attraction between the two of them but there trying to hide it.
Ellie then says Nick how would you like to dance. Nick says sure Ellie I dont mind. They go on the dance floor and they begin to dance. Over time the dancing begins to change from being under cover to a type of flirtatious dancing.
Nick and Ellie lock eyes and Ellie puts her hand through Nick's hair. Both of them cant help it but they begin to kiss. There lips lock and they stay stay that for a moment. Both of them realise what has happened and its awkward. Nick then says heres my moment be ready and he rushes of.
Nick stumbles of up the upstairs he is surprisingly good at playing drunk he ends up bumping into the two guards. In a drunk accent, he says is this the restroom he goes to go in the room when he is stopped by the guards. Sir this is a private area Vips only But I need the bathroom or not I'm going to pee on you With both guards distracted bishop sneaks in. Then Torres puts both the guards to sleep. Well, you two I hope yous have a good nap and wow I play a good drunk I am good at everything.
Torres enters the room that's when he sees Bishop with the owner in cuffs. Torres looks at the table there are a lot of drug goodies there such as cocaine speed ecstasy. From the looks of things, the owner of this club got himself some Illegal female company.
Torres then says what do we have here the mr club owner lets see we have a selection of drugs and some illegal female company I would recommend you answer our questions.
Torres and Bishop leave the room with this man there is not much resistance when they are leaving due to them having to show their badges multiple times.
They arrive at headquarters it's around eleven o'clock at night Mcgee has gone home everyone has. Nick says to Bishop we can hold this guy in the holding cell until the morning then we can interview you go home. Then he remembers that he drove her to the club and here then he says would you like a lift home. Well, Nick yes I would thank you it's not to much bother.
He drives Bishop home they are parked outside of her place. She says well Nick thanks for an interesting and cool undercover. She leaves the car and Nick needs home. When he gets home he is knackered he opens what's left of his door and he then just heads to bed.
He wakes up at five o'clock he is tired still but he persevers he gets up and he does 100 push-ups and sit ups then he goes for a shower and gets into his running gear. He heads for a run when he gets back to his apartment the door is wide open.
He pulls his gun from his holster and heads in that's when he sees someone sitting on the sofa and the man says you must be Nick.
