Sweet 16 Birthday and Reunited Friends
It's a new day at New Saurus City. The season of autumn is almost over with winter coming here soon. Human and dinosaurs alike are getting ready for the autumn ending and welcoming the winter. The leaves turning red, yellow and brown as they fall off of their trees which of course makes the long-neck sauropods sad (besides the small quadrupled ones) that they wouldn't get to eat from high trees and through winter unlike the carnivores which they don't need to worry. Fortunately they still have the humans who would provide food which they're all grateful towards to.As for the humans, like from the modern past, they're all busy making preparations to keep themselves comfortable during this cool season.
(AT THE O' SAURIA MANSION)
Meanwhile, as for one particular family, on this very day just so happens to be someone's special day...
A young teenage girl with long straight, wavy red hair and aqua blue eyes wearing a white blouse, blue jacket, blue skirt and black sandals was watching outside the window from her bedroom. On her windowsill was a small white feathered dinosaur, a Microraptor was chirping good morning to the girl.
It's Cera and Miku!
"Good morning, Miku. It's a beautiful morning today, isn't it?" Cera smile.
Miku chirp and nodded as the female Microraptor and Cera stretch out their arms and sigh as they walk away from the window.
Ah Ah Ah Ahhh
"Huh...? What was that?" Cera said.
Miku, like Cera, thought she heard something too.
"Oh well. Must be hearing things." The girls shrug it off as nothing as they leave their bedroom.
Downstairs...
In the kitchen, a couple were making a 4 layered cake. One was a woman with red hair and blue eyes which Cera inherited from. She's wearing a turquoise dress along a white house-apron with a dinosaur footprint design on the pocket. The other was a man with Reddish-brown hair and brown eyes. His face has a scar he received from the war a few years ago. He wore a yellow shirt, brown trousers buckled with a belt and his white Dinoshot on the left. By their feet was a purple and pink Eoraptor.
They're Cera's parents; Maia and Lunensis O'Sauria!
Right now, the cake is almost complete. It just needs some frosting and decorations. Maia was stirring the whip cream in a bowl when the couple hear footsteps coming down from the staircase.
"Good morning, Mom! Dad!" Cera said appearing before them with Miku on her shoulder.
"Cera! Good morning! And to you too, Miku!"
The Eoraptor bark and bow his head.
"Good morning to you too, Erwin!"
Cera caught sight of the cake and gasp. "Wow! Look at the size of this cake!"
"Hehe... Amazing, isn't it? It took 5 whole days to make it!" Maia said proudly.
"Don't forget about me, dear. I helped too!" Lunensis reminded teasingly.
"I know. You were a great help despite not being an experience in cooking yourself." Maia giggle.
"The last time I tried doing it myself, I ended up burning it or being burned." Lunensis sweatdrop recalling the past, the part he tried to bake cookies as a return gift for the Valentine chocolates but ended up not what he expected to be.
They all laugh at the funny memory.
(CERA'S POV)
It's been awhile since we laugh together as a family ever since the Space Pirates war and the Arkosaurus incident. My mother, all alive because of my action from the time travel magic from a certain dinosaur with the same name and species as Miku. My father and I are very happy. From the Arkosaurus incident, both my Mom and Dad left to go out for some moment of their own while leaving me in charge of the D Resistance. They didn't get to spend any time together when the Space Pirates war was on, but since I love my parents very much, I let them go and have fun.
During those 3 years, my life as Commander of the D Resistance was very fulfilling. If you're all wondering how everything's going on at the HQ, the dinosaurs that are hybrid are getting used to their new lifestyle thanks to me working together with the Element Captains along with my best friend, Dorothy Yumeiro who's also the Water Captain's cousin and of course all of their dinosaur partners as each of them were now living peacefully in Dino Valley together with the other tamed dinosaurs(including the Space Pirates' unaltered ones).
Oh, if you're wondering how Dorothy's doing now this year, she's doing her best to learn all about cooking and entertainment to make the people to enjoy themselves when she takes over her family seafood restaurant at their beach.
Right now this year, I'm going to be 16 years old, my sweet sixteen! I can't wait!
"Oh that's right! Cera, did you finish making the invitations?" Mom said.
"I sure did!" I take out the invitation letters from my satchel. The envelop is white with golden line design and a star on the cover. "Miku and I are on our way to deliver them right now!"
"That's great! And I'll be done with the cake before sunset." Mom said, continuing mixing the cream. "Come on dear, help me please."
"Yes, dear. Be right there! Ah, Erwin! Don't even think about it!" Dad said before his partner could chomp down on the bottom of the cake.
Miku and I giggle as we leave the kitchen and out of the mansion.

(AT NEW SAURUS BEACH, HOME OF DOROTHY YUMEIRO)
After the Secret partners delivered the invitations to the Element Captains from the HQ and her classmates from high school, it's time to deliver the last invitation to their favorite Water friends.
KNOCK KNOCK
"Hello~ Dorothy! Lion! Are you home?"
They waited and waited but no reply. But they did not know that their water friends was right behind them being sneaky.
"Hm? Maybe there're not home?"
Suddenly, a pair of hands covered Cera's eyes! Miku was surprised that she glide off her partner's shoulder to see who's behind. It's a teenage girl with short curled brown Bob hair and greyish blue eyes. On her head was an orange chibi Baryonyx. They wink at Miku to keep quiet and she nodded.
"Who is it~?" Said a female voice.
"Dorothy?" Cera guess.
"Yup! Happy Birthday, Cera!" The girl release her hands as Cera turn around to see her best friend and Miku's.
"Aw, thanks Dorothy! And to you too, Lion!"
Lion got off Dorothy's head then into her arm in embrace as he bark.
After Cera hand the invitation, the two girls and their dinosaur partners decided to take a walk in the park.
(AT NEW SAURUS PARK)
"What are you doing so out early in the morning?" Cera ask.
"Oh, I just visited Marina to deliver some food my Mom made for her." Dorothy answer.
"I see. Speaking of Marina, is she doing all right? I went to her and Blaze's home to deliver the invitation and heard from him that she's has been sick these days. I hope she'll be all right to attend to my birthday party."
"Don't worry about it, Cera. From what I heard from my Mom, it's something all woman experience."
"Something all woman experience...? Y-you mean...?"
"Uh-huh. Marina's 4 weeks pregnant! She's gonna be a Mom soon!" Dorothy announce.
"Wow, I can't believe it! That means Blaze's gonna be a Dad too! Ooh I should congratulate them at my party!" Cera squel.
"I'm so happy for Marina! She found love, married, spending good and bad times together and now... They're going to have a family! I'm a bit jealous."
"Jealous? Really?" Cera raise an eyebrow.
"I mean, girls find happiness with the one they love! Who doesn't?!" Dorothy sigh as she daydream. "Don't you think so too, Cera?"
"Um... For me, I'm not too sure about it."
From what Cera remembered from her past, she doesn't have much experience with males other than her father. Like her mother, because of their blessed beauty, males, whether young or old were all attracted to her which result in bad or traumatic. Well... Other than her father, there's one particular male who treated her differently not minding if it's her beauty that attracts him.
"But if I were a boy myself, I definitely would have fallen in love with you instead." Dorothy thought out as she hug her best friend.
"Hehe, thanks Dorothy." Cera sweatdrop and chuckle at Dorothy's words.
Cera knew Dorothy since kindergarten and they're always together being childhood friends. Dorothy, when she was younger, was a loner in the past because she was shy unlike her cousin Marina. What made Dorothy now, was all because of Cera after she befriended because of their love for dinosaurs and fairytales. Dorothy sometimes thought that if she were a boy, she would love Cera and even marry her! She would protect her from harm and that includes any men who try to come her way. But since she's female, she thought being by Cera's side was more than enough to make her happy the way she is and hope that maybe someday Cera would be able to find happiness herself in the future.
Just then, something is going on at the park's square. A couple of people are gathering around in a circle looking impressed by something.
"Isn't that the rumored Rainbow Prince?"
"His paintings are so beautiful!"
"So incredible for a younger boy!"
Cera, Dorothy, Miku and Lion walk over.
"What's going on?" Cera ask.
"Let's go see." Dorothy grab Cera's hand as they run.
There, they find 2 boys around their age. One with blue hair and matching eyes. He wore a white and blue shirt and cream pants while holding a paint palette in one hand and a paintbrush in the other. The other boy has light pink hair and blue eyes wearing a long sleeved shirt with a pair or red glasses in the left chest pocket and light blue jeans.
"Your paintings are impressive as always, Towa." The pink hair boy said to the painter now named Towa.
"It's no big deal." Towa plainly reply. Just then a winged feathered dinosaur bit bigger than a Microraptor landed on his head, an Archaeopteryx.
The Archaeopteryx stretch its wings after some bit of flying. Just then, he suddenly caught sight of something familiar from afar away from its sitting. It peck Towa's head to get his attention.
"What is it, Archeon?" Towa stop painting to look at his dino partner.
The Archaeopteryx, Archeon, hop to his human partner's shoulder and point into a direction with his beak. Towa look at the direction, Archeon pointing at and what he saw apart and away from the people. He caught sight of 2 teenage girls with dino partners with them, a Baryonyx and... a Microraptor!
The teenagers then caught sight of each other as the Microraptor and Archaeopteryx lock eyes to each other.
"Miku?"
"Archeon?"
The 2 feathered dinosaurs glide to each other then as in an instant they began to squawk and flies as if they're happy to see each other after a long time.
While they're flying, the teenagers walk toward the other face to face. Cera and Towa noticing how their bird dinosaurs flying like that, made them realize something!
"Towa...?!"
"Cera...?!"
After that, they got to the ground and onto their respective human partner's shoulder, the humans happily run up to each other.
"Is it really you?" Cera said.
"Yes, it's been a long time. I'm back." Towa smile.
Dorothy and the pink-haired boy then walk over to their respective friend and asked, "Is it?"

After that, both human and dinosaur friends talk to each other to catch up after years of separation.
"I see. So this is the Cera and Miku, you lover boys couldn't stop talking about. It's a pleasure to finally meet you mademoiselles. I'm Runo de Cielo. Towa's cousin from our Maman's side!" The pink hair boy introduced himself.
"I didn't know you had a cousin." Cera said.
"That's because I never told you. He spends his time in Paris, France all his life." Towa said.
"Oui. My Maman told me her twin sister, my aunt, lived in Japan and she told me all about it. I sometimes come to Japan to spend holidays with my favorite cousin, Towa and I know him really well." Runo wrap his arm around Towa's neck pulling him closer.
"I see."
"You know, forgive me for saying this, you and Towa look very much alike. Both of you look like twins!" Dorothy point out.
"Oh, Dorothy's right! Except the hair color."
"People say that all the time. They confuse us with each other when we're really actually cousins." Towa said glancing at Runo.
"So, Runo, do you have a Dinosaur partner of your own?" Dorothy ask.
"Me? You wanna see? Alright then?" Runo took out his pink and blue Dinoshot and Slash his dinosaur card. "Say Bonjour!" A small earth-brown spotted theropod dinosaur appear. "Meet Leslie the Lesothosaurus!"
The female Lesothosaurus look around and sees the human girls. She look startle as she run off away from them and hide behind Runo.
"Oh dear!" The girls were surprised to find it gone in a flash.
"Don't worry, she's just shy. That's all." Runo stroke Leslie's body to calm her down. Leslie calmed down and purred.
Watching the sun about to go down, it's almost time for Cera's birthday party to start!
"Guys, it's getting late! We have to go now!" Dorothy.
"Oh that's right! Towa, Runo! You're welcome to my birthday party today!"
"Really? Come on then cousin! Let's go!" Runo grab his cousin's hand and drag him along with the girls back to Cera's home.

(AT THE O'SAURIA MANSION)
In the backyard garden, Lunensis, the Captains and the Periwinkle family were still setting up the party's preparation.
Meanwhile, Cera and Miku are getting themselves prepared with Maia's help while Dorothy and the boys waited as they help set up the party.
In Cera's bedroom...
Maia help her daughter dress up. The dress she prepared for Cera was a pretty white sparkling dress with puffed sleeves. The skirt is long and wavy with an extra blue transparent fabric on top. As for her hair, half of it is tied into a ponytail with a white ribbon. Her long forlocks still in place with her bangs covering her for head.
"Wow, you look beautiful!" Maia said proudly and Miku agreed.
Cera look at herself in the mirror and she have to agree. She does look beautiful... Almost like a princess.
"Hmm... Something's missing." Maia hum as she look for something to complete. That's when she notice something glowing coming from a small chest from one of the drawers. After the glow died out, Cera walk over to her mother.
"Mom?"
"Cera, this chest. It's so nostalgic. This was from when you were 9 years old right?"
Cera nod.
"Do you still have the key?"
"The key...? Oh, I think I kept it in here." Cera took out her white Dinoshot and open a Secret compartment in it, revealing a small golden key.
Using the key, Cera open the chest and found 2 items inside. A painted picture of herself, Miku together with some dinosaur that glows in rainbow colors. It was painted by young Towa before he left Saurus City for Paris. It's one of her most precious things to remember him by.
The other was a silver amulet necklace. It has 7 element symbol exactly like the stone plates except the center is a star symbol.
"This necklace..." Maia pick it up. "Cera, remember this?"
"Yes, I remember. It was once a locket before but now it's an amulet. I don't know why it changed."
"Well, whatever how or why, I'm sure it must be something magical's going to happen to you." Maia thought. "Do you still believe in magic?"
"Well, I still do. That never changes. Right, Miku?" Cera said with Miku agreed.
"You really do... Here you go, sweetheart." Maia puts on the necklace around her daughter's neck. "Beautiful."
"Thanks, Mom. Are you sure it's alright to wear it now?" Cera asked.
When she was young, she did wore the necklace before the Space Pirates war but took it off for a reason (which is to become stronger in order to move on when Maia perished).
"Of course. I believe it appears to you for a good reason and that it chooses you for something great when the time comes. Promise me, that you will never take it off."
"Hmm... OK Mom. I promise." Cera swear.
"Thank you. Now come on, let's finish getting ready."

(OUTSIDE AT O'SAURIA GARDEN)
Meanwhile, in the garden, things are looking smoothly... Well... Not exactly as smoothly when Lunensis tried to stop Erwin from eating the cake.
"Erwin, I told you, NO! This cake is for Cera and everyone else not just you!" Lunensis argue as he place the cake to a safer area.
Erwin whimpered again trying to resist eating the cake. "Must... Resist... It's Cera's cake...! Must... Not... Eat it...!"
As for Cera's friends, they were watching closely per Lunensis' request to watch over the cake to make sure his partner didn't try to eat it after they meet up with their parents. However, as usual, Erwin couldn't resist his sweet tooth, launch himself for the cake!
"Oh no, you don't!" The 3 teenagers lift the cake high.
Dorothy even summoned Lion to his adult size to help being big. The chase of sugar rush is going on!
Meanwhile, as for the others, Cosmo and Wanda place variety of foods on the table. The Captains, each of them makes some entertainment for the party.

Cera, Maia and Miku, are finally ready and on their way to the garden.
"I'm so excited!"
Maia giggle at her daughter's excitement as she open the door to the garden.
The sound of people and dinosaurs are getting noisy as they try to get in place. As for Erwin, he snap out of his sugar obsess and Lion still in adult form, pose together with Erwin holding the cake.
"SURPRISE!" They cheer for the birthday girl with the fire dinosaurs shooting fireworks towards the sky.
"Wow!" Cera and Miku's eyes widen.
"Happy Birthday, Cera!"
"Thank you, everyone!"
Everybody, each, congratulate Cera becoming 16 years old. Erwin took off of Lion, transform into a Megaraptor and holding the cake on his head and slice up the cake each and threw it to all the people and dinosaurs as they all happily eats it, especially Erwin who finally gets to eat it.
"All right then, let's get this party started, Blaze!" Lunensis shout out.
"You got it! D.J Blazing Partysaurus is in the house! Let's party!" Blaze in his D.J outfit and putting his headphones on as he turn on the turntables. Blazing Partysaurus is Captain Blaze's D.J name. His dinosaur partners, Daigo Daspletosaurus and Gorgon Gorgosaurus are dressed in colorful necklaces with their names on it and also wears an opera long-haired wig and horned hat.
(The song is Partysaurus Overflow BT from Toy Story.)
The groovy, energetic song soon echo the garden along with multicolor disco lights.
After that, the last event is the waltz, played by the Hadrosaurs led by Captain Hua and her twin sister Hana.
"May I have this first dance with you?" Towa bravely asked Cera for a dance as he hold out his hand.
"Sure." Cera accept his hand and the 2 walk to the dance floor.
Everyone watched as the birthday girl and her partner dance. Not long after that, everyone else join in too. Even Dorothy danced with Runo. The other teenagers and adults join in too.
For Marina, she too dance with her husband, Blaze after his role as D.J is over, joining the waltz. She can't wait for their baby to be born soon and spending time together with them.
Unknown to them and everyone else, a shadow figure was spying at the birthday party with a dark aura.

Meanwhile Cera, Miku, Towa and Archeon were having a private conversation away from the party. Towa told Cera about his time in Paris, he ended up studying in the same school as Runo and been studying hard in making colorful art pictures ever since he drew a picture for Cera's 9th birthday. His drawings became really popular and admirable which the people gave him the nickname "Rainbow Prince" because of how colorful and full of live his pictures were.
Ever since he got word about the war about the Space Pirates, and about the part when Cera and Miku got "dissappear" he went to a lab with his mother's help who were friends with a professor once, while in France to help make Archeon be stronger. As a result, Archeon became a Secret Dinosaur too. His powers are reflected on healing called "Healing Charm", Sonic Screech that hurts the opponents' hearing sense and Element Shot that depending on the color of the attribute he change into, his feathers will shot included the power of fire, water, wind, earth, lightning and grass.
At first Cera and Miku were a bit shocked that Towa now had a Secret Dinosaur because of them. But Towa said it's for the better in order to grow stronger and move on.
The girls sigh softly by Towa's answer but they hug the boys to assure them that they'll always remember each other even if apart.
"So, anyway congratulations turning 16 years old." Towa.
"Thanks. I had lots of fun." Cera smile.
"Yeah, me too." Towa then take out a small present from his pocket. "Here, happy birthday!"
"Oh, thanks! Can I open it?"
"Go ahead."
Cera unwrap the present and open the box. Inside it looks like a Keychain in the shape of half of a heart. The color is red with blue on the inside of the heart. The bottom of the heart also has a string with one-part of a wing.
"It's cute!
"It's a Keychain magnet. See, I have a pair too." Towa show him his. It's the same but in different color. His is blue with red on the inside. "And if put together... Ta-da!"
Towa joined his with Cera's and the 2 Keychains stick together just like a magnet completing it.
"It is! Oh, and look, the inside of the heart is purple! How?"
"The inside has a chemical reaction in it. It's special and it's handmade from France."
"Wow! Thank you! I'll take good care of it!" Cera thanks Towa for the gift and attached it on her Dinoshot.
This has been the best sweet 16 birthday ever!
