Static walked into the living room with a gray furred squirrel following besides him. Right before they fully entered the room the gray furred male took Static into a head lock and rubbed his head causing them both to laugh until the female before them came into site. She seemed to grab and hold of their attention as both male squirrels grinned in awe at her in silent for a moment. They two men straightened up their posture and smiled at her as Ryan coughed to get Static's attention.
"Ryan, this is my lovely wife-to-be Sandy. Sandy this is my good friend Ryan." He took Ryan by the shoulder and lead him up to his lover as he took her shoulder to encourage them to greet one another.
"Nice ta meet ya." Sandy smiled as she held out her hand in an attempt to shake his.
Ryan immediately feel to his knees and took her hand. Her fiancées friend looked up at her somewhat seductively and held eye contact as he kissed her hand as he lightly gripped it. "I am more than honored to meet such a breath-taking woman in person, my dear." The male then stood up and gave her a cocky grin.
Sandy then pulled his hand back to hers as he tried to pull away. The female then shook his grip with quite a bit of might. More than a small twinge of pain showed on Ryan's face as Sandy gripped him tightly. "Aww… ya really shouldn't put yerself out like that." As the expression on her face became angry as his continued to show pain, and now worry.
Laughter just escaped Static as he slapped Ryan on the back, causing Sandy to release her grip on him. "I told you not to try anything Ray-Man." Static continued to laugh as he walked up and hugged Sandy before kissing her on the cheek. However, her disapproving eyes didn't leave Ryan as her lover embraced her.
She couldn't help but wonder what kind of a friend would blatantly hit on their friends' partner right in front of them. Then again, she noticed Static seemed to have no problem with his actions. Could it be she was over reacting to his friends greeting? She started to doubt her judgement somewhat, but still knew overall she didn't trust her man's friend as of yet.
Static walked behind his lover and picked up child closest to him. Tex, and Wes, were walking slowly at this point, so he stopped Tex from attempting to climb on the couch and picked her up and brought her over to his friend. "This here is our daughter, Tex." Static beamed proudly as he held the young girl, of not quite a year of age, up for the other man to see. "She's gonna be a heart breaker." Static giggled still proudly as his friend nodded in approval while fully avoiding physical contact with the child.
"Cute." Ryan smiled as he continued to rub his stressed hand with his other to relieve the pain.
"And that guy over there is Wes." Static was still beaming with pride as he sat Tex down and ran over to pick up Wes who was having trouble on deciding what toy he wanted to chew on as he held one in each hand and was failing at chewing them both at the same time. The child slightly protested as Static picked him up, and he dropped his toys, until he'd decided all along, he'd rather be chewing on Static's hand, and so he did. "Daddy's little man!" Static sang as his kissed the boy on the head.
Sandy smiled as she watched Static interact with the children. She was pretty overwhelmed with many feelings as she saw him show off the children with so much thrill. He truly was one of a kind, and all hers.
Sandy walked over and picked up Tex, who was already trying to climb on the couch again, before walking up to Static and giving a light kiss on the cheek. "Let's get ready for dinner." She suggested. Hippieness overtook her as she saw Static smile back and her and nod. The two made their way to the kitchen sink where they washed the children's hand and their own before sitting themselves down. The children stayed focused on their toys once place in their high chairs, but the two lovers knew full well after not too long they'd be begging for some of the food the adults were eating. However, in the meantime they were looking forward to some, hopefully, mostly calm conversation.
Ryan was already seated by the time to family made it back to the table. "Do you want a drink?" Static offered to his friend.
"I'd love one. Whatever you're having is fine." Ryan smiled.
"OH, I'm not planning on drinking tonight, but I'll make you a rum & coke." Static stated as he stood up.
"Not drinking?" Ryan smirked as he watched Static make him a drink and then set it down in front of him. "Still more of an herb guy?"
Static's face went a little white as he coughed in protest to what his friend was saying. Sandy looked at Static shocked as the male made his way back to his seat as he smiled uncomfortably. "Yeah… tea was good, but I prefer coffee these days."
Ryan's face went panicked for a moment before he started to grin again while taking a large gulp of his double rum and coke. "Oh yeah!" Ryan forced a laugh. "Glad you got out of that shit… tea is gay." He forced another short laugh before taking another large drink.
"Tea?" Sandy asked casually, though her face was full of doubt.
"Oh yeah! This guy was a nut!" Ryan continued to laugh as he started to finally eat as his glass was almost empty already. "Pretty sure he was just into it to pick up chicks!"
Static shot another irritated look at his friend that was in full view of Sandy. "I see."
She replied in mouton.
"I mean tastefully!" The gray furred male laughed now more than nervously. "He always looked for ladies that were into the finer things in life, just like him." He then smiled at her and winked, as she kept her blank face before turning towards her plate.
Both men could feel the tension coming from the lone adult female in the room, as they both had expected each other to react differently to the meeting. Things were going downhill and fast. Unfortunately, Ryan was still as dumb as Static had been only a few years earlier and was more than willing to dig their graves deeper… and not seeing the error of his ways.
Sandy had just placed some cut-up food on the twin's highchair table, before Ryan finally had the nerve to speak again. "So, I hear you give great head."
Both Sandy and Static's faces filled with worry. The only different was Sandy's then became very upset, very fast. "Excuses me?!" She asked for clarification.
"What the hell?!" Static shouted out loudly at his friend, causing both the children and his wife to jump a bit. "How dumb as you Ray?!"
"Static?!" Sandy looked at him more hurt than angry.
"Sorry! I panicked!" Ryan admitted before he finished his drink and then stood up to get another one without even asking.
"Sandy…" Static started. "I just wanted to show you off." He smiled at her but worry still coved his face.
"Show me off?" She spat as she looked away from the other adults as a blush covered her face. "Is me pleasing you all I'm worth talking about?!" She then pushed herself away from the table and picked both children up, before taking them to the other room.
"What the fuck?!" Static hissed at his friend after his almost-wife left the room with the children.
"Sorry!" Ryan stated as he sat down and now finished his second double drink. "I panicked. She's kinda intense."
"You have no idea how intense she'll be to me for the next few days!" Static scolded. "I hope it's only a couple of days…. Why the hell would you bring up that shit? You're a fucking dumb ass!" Static scolded.
"You didn't tell me she was a snowflake!" Ryan protested.
"I'm marrying her… she isn't some fucking dumb ass stripper! She is worthwhile!" Static started to fume as he finally stood up and made himself a light drink. "What the hell?" Static whined.
"Dude! You didn't warn me!" Static's friend shot back at him.
"I'm marring her. I love her. I wouldn't act like a kid to her… how can you not get that?!" Static breathed heavily after taking a drink.
"Sorry, bro." Ray-Man sighed. "I was trying to flatter her, but everything I did pissed her off."
"Of course!" Static scoffed. "You're acting like some frat boy that thinks she should be thrilled to be near you..." Static breathed heavily for a moment while holding his forehead. "Any man is lucky to be near her, you dumb ass. She had two college degrees by the time she turned 18. She holds multiple martial arts belts, and speaks 4 langue's, and now she is a mother of two, and still doing consultant research work." Static started to pant after listing some of her accomplishments. "She's also the most loving, and loyal women around… I'm so lucky to have her."
"Didn't she leave her Ex for you?" Ryan questions. "Doesn't sound very loya-"
Static stood up and grabbed his friend by the shirt collar and pulled him towards him, so they were face to face. "Watch your mouth!" Static yelled loudly.
The two men looked at each other for a moment before Ryan held up his hands in defeat. Then Static let go of him so he could sit back down. Now Static took both men's glasses to refill them with rum. "Sorry." Ryan mumbled after realizing how overcome Static was with his lover.
"I should have caught you up more." Static confessed. "We haven't talked much since college. But, this woman…." Static sighed as he sat a new drink in front of his already intoxicated friend. "She is my life. Our family is my life." Static then took a seat next to him as he started to play with is own, less strong, drink. "Oh my God…." Static moaned with worry. "I don't know what I'll do if she hates me." Static whimpered pathetically. "I can't live without her." He continued to bitch.
"Wow." Ryan looked at him dumbfounded. "I never thought I'd see Static-the-shocker breaking down over a woman like that."
Static stood up again, but now slightly intoxicated and peered over his friend who was still sitting down. "I will kick your ass if you continue to disrespect her!"
"Oh dude!" The gray furred squirrel held his hand up again in defeat again. "I'm not insulting her, but just you." His friend just grinned at him devilishly as Static looked back pissed off.
"You have no idea what you are missing out on. Grow up, dumb ass!" Static screamed.
"Good luck to you and your chick you can't even tell the truth to." Ryan laughed and he downed his last drink and stumbled out of the house.
Static sat back down in a panic as he finished the last of his light drink…. Which caused him to fly pretty high as he had no tolerance for alcohol. He continued to look down at the table for some time…. He had honestly started to lose track of time after a while, and only snapped back to reality after Sandy walked in and sat down, in the chair, next to him.
"Are ya ok?" She asked him with more concern in her voice than he could even notice at this point of intoxication.
"Hmmm." Static responded while continuing to look down at the table obliviously.
"I heard ya two talking…and yelling. I'm sorry, Shug." Sandy wrapped her arm around him and pulled him close to her. "I love ya, babe." She then kissed his cheek before leaning her forehead against the side of his face.
"I love you." He muttered while pushing his face against her. "I'm sorry. I just…. You're so great…." He continued to profess. "You are the best part of my life, and I brag too much. I'm sorry, Sandy…" He then wrapped his arms around her and kissed her lips briefly. "When I met you… and I couldn't give up. I'm so happy I have you!" Static hugged her tighter as he was barely able to breath. "I owe you my life, and even more!" He started to cry, as Sandy face looked at him in worry. "Thank you!" He continued cuddling her. "I need you, and the kids. You're my life!" He professed as he dug his face into her chest.
Sandy continued to hug him…. Knowing full well he was telling the truth. "Well… tomorrow I hope ya let me in on some of yer young shenanigans."
Static nodded extra hyper, and happy, in the fact she wasn't still angry at him. He hugged her tight. "Anything for you my love!" Static smiled as he kissed her again before trying to puller her to the bedroom.
"Hold up there, slick!" Sandy half laughed while pointing at the young children crawling around the living room floor. "I get yer a bit sick in the head, my brother would be proud, but we got some responsibility to take care of, love." Sandy smiled at him as he drunkenly smiled back at her.
"I love you… all of you." He started to kiss her lips aggressively as she pulled him back to the couch and sat him down.
Sandy became somewhat thrilled as Static's low tolerance for alcohol made him pass out quite fast as she continued to watch the children and leaned against his strong body. She found much comfort being near her lover sleeping body.
