Chapter II: Trouble at the Ball

The sextet walked around magixs having a good time, buying food, and playing games. Wan was breathing in this new environment, he is used to technology but none to this scale. Korra glances at Wan, with a soft smile. Wan and she have been childhood friends since well, they were discovered to be the Dual Avatars.

They both traveled across the world. Learning and completing their training on the bending aspect of their power. Korra honestly felt closer to Wan when he also became a fairy. She was glad he was there still despite all these years.

"I never would have imagined Magix's like this." Korra starts, glancing at Wan. He chuckles, "Yeah I mean, the whole place is like Republic City, but times ten."

"Being off our home planet does feel wired, but I think of it as an adventure. Plus we're the dual avatars, we got this."

The next day there was an announcement of an opening ball. Wan pulled out his suit he would wear for formal occasions however, he decided to look around the school.

The corridors were long and wide, he took in the grandeur of the college. He didn't care where he was going, he just trusted his gut. The Welcoming Ball was only in a couple of hours anyway, so he didn't necessarily mind. His eyes wander to a room full of books, Wan enters the library, it is huge and beautiful. He had seen his fair share of huge libraries, but this was amazing. Wan picks out one flipping through a book. "I see you like books, I gather." A woman muses, Wan quickly shuts the book. "Sorry, I-"

"No, No, you're a fine young man. Welcome to Alfea's library."

"It's bigger than the library I went to, and I saw the fire nation's royal family library, and the earth kingdom's. Sorry- I just, I grew up in a library, my mother is a librarian for republic city's library." Wan touches a book, "It kinda reminds me of home."

"Well, I'm certain you would love this place. I'm Miss Barbatea, the librarian."

"Wan." The fairy Avatar smiles, "Do you mind if I look around even more?" Wan questions, "Of course, but the opening party is in a few hours."

Wan nods and walks aimlessly around. There was so much here it almost made Wan giddily, he didn't know where to start. He just chooses a few random books and starts there. He didn't know how much time had passed because Hoku was running inside the library, "There you are!"

Wan snapped out of his reading session, he fell over backward on the chair hitting his head, "Oof, For Raava's sake!" Wan gets up, massaging his head that was hit on impact.

"Sorry,"

"No kidding." Wan groans deeply,

"Everyone has been looking for you, it's almost time to get ready for the Ball. Korra had an idea of where you were though" Hoku says, Wan sighs closing the book, he puts the book in its original place.

"Come on, bookworm!"

Wan puts on the suit representing his home planet, Korra decides on a water tribe dress but contemporized a little. Hoku wore a full dress filled with purples and dark blues rifles characterized by the sparkles.

"Hay where is Kaiyo?" Amy asked, wearing a short hanfu with white tights. Logan's eyes arched, "No idea?" Hoku looks over, "I haven't seen her, she said she was getting some fresh air an hour ago."

Kaiyo took a stroll around the school. She sighs, putting her hands in her pocket and pulling out her phone. Kayio calls her mother.

"Hey, mom." Kaiyo says softly, "Oh hello dear" Ms. Nami replies with a smile on her face, "So how's Alfea?" Kaiyo looks down, "Good, I just, I feel out of place, everyone is just- So much more special."

"Kaiyo, you dear are extraordinary just like your brother. You don't have to be the Avatar to do amazing things, just believe in yourself, as I believe in you."

Kaiyo smiles warmly at this, "Awh, talking to your mommy pixie dust?" The witch above her laughed, she had long flowing dirty blond hair and eyes red as blood. Kaiyo looks at her mother as she nods, she hangs up the phone. Kaiyo glares at her, "What are you doing here?"

"None of your concern." The witch says simply, "To take something that is mine, so try not to get in my way." The witch lands towards Kaiyo, "And what if I do?"

"Brave little fairy, that won't last long." She smirks as her red eyes glow. Kaiyo summons a pink disk and throws it at the witch who crushes it. "Cute, but won't get you far."

"Elementia Kaiyo!" Kaiyo transformed to have two pink transparent wings. A pastel pink mini dress, sleeveless. Her boots are also pink and up to her ackle. She attacks the witch, "Energy Blast!"

"Umbra depresa!" The witch yells as Kayio's energy blast was engulfed by darkness. The energy fairy clenched her fists, the witch laughed, "Sorry little fairy, you're not as strong as you think!" Kaiyo flew up, summing a spell, to trap the witch in a pink orb. However, she broke loose and fired a spell that blasted Kaiyo back. Kayio groans getting up, having energy balls in both palms. She fires both, hitting the witch in the stomach sending her flying.

The red eyes witch got up and used a spell ready to attack her again, "Give up or else,"

"Or else what bumbum?"

Korra coughs, having her hands on her hips. Already transformed into her fairy form.

The red-eye witch was taken aback by this and laughed, "Well, look at that I have another little brave fairy. Why don't you mind your business and you won't go to the hospital-"

"You're the only one who is gonna need a hospital, and for your sake, I hope there is one nearby,"

The witch snarls at her, "Who do you think you are?" She laughs threateningly.

Korra rubs her fists together, smirking defiantly, "Why don't you come and find out?" Along with her was the rest of the group transformed in their fairy form. Logan stepped up, him having white pants and an open vest. His wings seemed to be crystalized like ice "You're surrounded, it's over!"

Hoku had a purple shoulderless crop top and an ankle-length dress with a side cut.

Amy had a matching pastel green top and shorts, her wings are light green as well.

The witch glares and she vanishes, Kayio sighs as she flies down to ground, "She's gone."

"It probably won't be the last time we see her." Logan glares at the spot she disappeared. Kaiyo nods agreeing, "She says, she was trying to take something."

"Well, whatever she was trying to take, as a witch, I don't think it's for the good of all." Wan then smiles at Kaiyo, "You were brave lil sis."

Kaiyo rubbed her arms, "I got my behind kicked."

"Well, you seem fine to me, you held your own against a seemingly powerful witch." Korra pats Kaiyo on the back. Hoku pushes Kaiyo forward, "Come on girllie, It's time for you to get ready, the party is about to start!"

Logan smiles a little at the scene, mainly at the hyper Princess.

Later

"So I was thinking of a name for us," Amy says as they were all dressed for the ball. "I was thinking about the crystalized six."

"No." Logan says, Amy slumps, "You're no fun, you know that? Got an ice-cold personality."

"How about the Changix Club," Wan suggests.

"Ooh, I like that." Korra comments, "Not too shabby," Logan smirks, Amy huffs, "Okay, that is a good name,"

The newly formed Changix agreed to the name as they entered the party. The party was lively as both specialists and fairies danced. "I KNEW IT!" Amy saw Asami Sato with a red mini dress talking to specialists like her.

Korra looks around and none of the Specialists she took interest in. The rest of the group who were talking to them like it was nothing.

"Hey, so, do you want to-," Wan asks Korra, blushing a little, "Dance with me?"

"Like how so?" Korra teases a little, making Wan flush harder, "Just a small dance on the dance floor."

Korra crosses her arms, "I mean, there are plenty of girls out there."

"Yeah but, I only see one girl I would like to dance with," Wan replies, almost flirtatiously. Korra felt her face get hot, "Fine, I'll have a dance."

Wan chuckles as the Dual Avatar's took each other's hands and slowly danced throughout the night.
