Chapter 3: KIRA IS CAGALLI

"It seems that there was a computation problem here…" Erica pointed out as she reviews the screen.

Kira and Cagalli was seating on the sofa quietly. Their bodies switch when they tried to teleport together and currently Uzumi and Erica are looking for solution to get their own body.

"It seems that we we're not able to see such error since we've been using this to animals and we're not able to identify that their minds and body switch." Erica added as she stares at Uzumi.

"How long can you solve it?"

"It would take at least a week."

"A week?!" Cagalli and Kira shouted at the same time

"How about school?" Kira asked

"I won't go to school with this body!" Cagalli disputed

"We don't have a choice pretend to be each other for the mean time. We can't let other knows about this. It can be used against us and could put us in danger so even with your friends, no one should know," Uzumi firmly said

"Act normal."

The twins went back to Cagalli's room to settle some arrangements while having the body of one another. While Uzumi and Erica went back to the headquarters. Only Myrna and Kisaka knew what happened to protect the two.

"How am I supposed to act like you?" Cagalli asked

"Arrgh"

"What? Are you okay Kira?"

"My head it hurts, my abdomen it feels like someone punched me and I can't walk properly. Legs…very sore… Arrgh" Kira complained

"Pffft… such a cry baby. Now who's a princess?"

"Cagalli! This is serious what if there's a side effect here in your body? It really hurts!"

"Haaaa… Kira it's my second day…so lucky you, you still have five more days to experience that…" Cagalli smiled mischievously.

"What do you mean?!" Kira shouted. He was shocked to his own attitude right now. He never wanted to shout but he feels very irritated.

"Its menstrual cramps. I always feel that every time of the month. So? You stil think I'm being a brat?"

"Wha—no way, you always have this every month but does aaargh!"

Kira shouted very loud and so Myrna and Kisaka was alarmned and bargged in to the room.

"Kira? What's wrong?"

"Argh Miss Myrna…. It hurts…"

"Call a doctor immediately!" Myrna said to Kisaka who was about to dial a number on his phone but was interrupted by Cagalli.

"His fine. He is just being a crybaby…"

"Cagalli…this is serious matter. Kira might be suffering in your body…" Kisaka said

"Of course, its my time of the month so he is having some pain…" Cagalli calmly said

"Oh… I see. I'll just brew some tea. Get a hot compress and a medicine. Wait here." Myrna said and took off immediately.

"Whaat? That's it?"

"Tsk. Check yourself if the pad is full…" Cagalli said and then she became embarrassed at the same time.

"Kira! Make sure to never ever touch any part of my body! Ask Myrna at all cost if you are curious about anything you are having." Cagalli immediately added

"What? Why not you?"

"Are you out of you mind? Do you think I could imagine things doing together! I myself promise I won't touch any unnecessary part of your body.!"

"Could you cut the chaste and tell me exactly what you mean?!" Kira shouted while holding his abdomen.

"Haaaa…Wow. It's really hard to talk to me…" Cagalli said in wonder and amazed how calm she is right now.

"Kira, if you're going to change my pad you have to wash it. So, make sure to not touch it. Use a bidet or a faucet whatever you can as long as you wont touch me…" Cagalli awkwardly said and also made Kisaka felt embarrassed so he went outside to give privacy with the two.

"Wha—Arrgh….okay I get!" Kira said and laid the body of Cagalli to her bed but keeps on fidgeting.

"I can't sleep, It's very uncomfortable….Cagalli…"

"Find a better position."

"I don't want to move…it really hurts." Kira constantly complained

"I know. I know. I've been experiencing that for years now…" Cagalli said while picking up some pillow and pilling it to one another.

"Here, put this on your back, raise your leg… yup that's right…" Cagalli is nursing Kira as he complains with Cagalli's body menstrual cramps

"Haaaaa….much better. You should've done this earlier!" Kira said "I—I'm sorry, I don't know why I'm acting like this. Thanks, Cagalli."

"Funny though I'm being understanding right now because I know exactly how you feel." Cagalli said as she shrugged her shoulder.

The door opened and Myrna got all the things she needed. She gave Kira tea and placed the hot compressed on her abdomen. After drinking tea Kira took the medicine and fell asleep.

"Ki—I mean Princess, go to Kira's room now. I'll just call you for dinner." Myrna said but Cagalli refused

"Nah, this cry baby will definitely complain later especially he ever changed the pad haist…"

"Oh my about that…"

"Myrna, please help Kira wash my body please. I feel…weird thinking he is washing my body…" Cagalli pleaded Myrna.

"But, isn't more awkward If I wash your body while Kira is mentally there…?"

"But—I prefer you than him!"

"Ohoho my princess of course. I'll assist him especially with the pads."

"Thanks Myrna!"

"How about you?"

"One thing for sure is I won't let Kisaka touch Kira's body while I'm mentally here!" Cagalli immediately responded

"I just won't wash it."

"What?"

"Kidding, I'll use bidet or I'll soak this body to a hot tub. Okay?"

"Alright. Take care, I'll go prepare dinner."

Dinner was prepared and the twins act normally. Myrna informed Kira what are the things he needs to do on Cagalli's body during her period and when is the time to change.

"So, make sure to change it within 3 to 4 hours, so that you won't encounter any rashes, infections and bad odor. Make sure to wash the private part before using another one to cleanse and freshen it up. As Cagalli's request just use a bidet" Myrna instructed

"Aah, okay." Kira mentally noted that Cagalli is not joking about her pain during her monthly visit. "I'll make sure to never disturb her during this time of the month" Kira thought.

The twins both sleep at Cagalli's room to see if there's any other side effect and to take care of each other.

Morning came and they need to go to the academy. Kira was assisted mostly by Myrna and felt how delicate Cagalli's body is, he had a big bruise on his leg when he accidentally bumped it on the chair.

"Told you…"

"Stop nagging"

"Hot tempered…" Cagalli teased

"Enough okay? You're too loud!"

"Pfft…"

"Arrgh…!" Kira said and stomped his feet loudly and walk out the mansion. Cagalli was left standing on the front door laughing.

Kira admitted himself to the infirmary after arriving at the academy as he felt that his head will burst and that his back was aching. The medicine given to him is not reducing the pain.

"Oh, my Cagalli are you okay?" Lacus came immediately as soon as she heard that she will skip the first class.

"Yes. Lacus thanks for coming." Kira said pretending to be Cagalli.

"it's okay…Cagalli, Kira is a bit weird…" Lacus blurted out

"What? How? are you sure?" Kira immediately asked

"Yes…he hugged me a while ago and greeted me, I mean I'm happy he did that but I- I don't know something feels off…"

"You're happy that I'm hugging you?" Kira said while blushing.

"Huh? I said Kira hugged me not you. I think you really are sick."

"Ye-Yes I am." Kira held Lacus hands and smiled. "Thanks."

"Huh? Is Cagalli being sweet right now?" Miri entered "Weird"

"Hey! I'm not, by the way why are you two here?" Kira asked

"Pfft… Well of course you're sick, silly question"

"No that' s not what I mean, Miri don't we have class?"

"Oh! Cagalli, as if you don't know. Athrun did all his best to convince the teacher to have a free time for you~~" Miri said as she and Lacus both giggled.

"Right. Athrun. I should thank him later."

"No need, your red knight is on the way he was just instructing the class about the activity." Lacus said as she stands and kissed Cagalli's cheeks

"Wha—" Kira was screaming inside as how he got a chance to be kissed by Lacus. Though technically it was Cagalli's body but he still felt it and smelled her closely. Then a sudden idea came to his mind. He immediately grabbed Lacus hands and hugged her tightly.

"Cagalli?" Lacus was startled by her sudden action and hugged her back stil.

"Is everything okay?"

"No, I just want to hug you more."

"Ooooh, what's with you Cags?" Miri interrupted

"I feel that it's calmer when Lacus is around me." Kira said and hugged Lacus even more.

"Come on… no need to worry we will go shopping later. I'll pick some swimsuit and you'll decide. Okay?" Lacus said as she patted 'Cagalli's'head

"Bi—bikini? Why what for?"

"Oh, you forgot we have a photo shoot for a magazine and I was selected for a summer edition." Lacus said as Kira loosen his grip and stared at her completely clueless.

"You will do winter and Miri was selected as fall…"

"Why did you agree, many men will see you!" Kira contested

"One of course is Kira…" Lacus shyly said

"Then just show it only to Kira!"

"How can she do that if your twin brother is so naïve and so clueless!" Miri said

"Huh? But I like…"

"Yes, we know who you like and it has nothing to do with this!" Miri said as she grabbed Lacus.

"We're leaving as Athrun is here to take care of you…" Miri teased 'Cagalli'

"Bye!"

Like a cue, Athrun came in looking worried on 'Cagalli'.

"You okay?" Athrun said as he sat beside 'Cagalli'

"Yeah. Thanks for coming." Kira said as he awkwardly stares at the fidgeting Athrun.

"Is there a problem?" Kira asked but Athrun just held 'Cagalli's' hand and he suddenly kissed the back of it which made Kira flinched at his action.

"I know he likes Cagalli but I never knew they are already on this stage. HOW COULD HE NOT TELL IT TO ME!" Kira silently thought.

"Is there a problem? Where does it hurt?" Athrun asked as he saw that 'Cagalli' face looks gloomy

"No, nothing."

"I see. Cagalli just rest for now I'll make sure that you won't miss any of our lesson." Athrun said as he entangles his hand to Cagalli.

"Athrun—" Kira awkwardly want to protest but he doesn't know what kind of relationship these two have.

"Ah—sorry, I know you want to graduate first. I just want you to be reminded how I feel." Athrun said as he shyly smile.

"Good job Cagalli!" Kira praised his sister silently on his mind.

"It's fine for now, we don't need to rush. We have the same dream." ATHRUN SAID

"Wow… I'm very happy to hear that…" Kira said as he felt reassured that they won't do something reckless and he now knew how they really felt for each other. Kira bowed his head as he felt ashamed thinking he was betrayed by his best friend.

"Well, I'll be heading back now. Rest wel…" Athrun said as he came closer to 'Cagalli' to kiss her forehead like he always does. But at that moment Kira felt he was coming closer so he raised his head and that moment their lips touched.

Athrun's eyes are widely open so is 'Cagalli'. Both are blushing but at the same time no one is backing up and it was like the time was frozen. There lips are not moving and was just there linked together. Shocked with what is happening both Kira and Athrun did not now what to do.

"Hey Kiddo-Haaaa… Sorry to interrupt…" It was Mwu La Flaga as he was trying to check his student is she is okay but he saw more than what he came for. With his sudden remarks the two finally separate their lips.

"So… yeah, make sure to rest more…and lock the door." With that Mwu left the two.

"Whaaa… It's my first." Kira said as he stares blankly at the door and blushing with a little tears forming in his eyes while Athrun was blushing really hard.

"I did not mean it Cagalli, I was just trying to say goodbye." Athrun explained.

"But… I like it…" Athrun said as he walks again closer to 'Cagalli'

"Stop!" Kira said. "Please, I need to think more…" Kira said which made Athrun devastated.

"I-I understand, I'm sorry Cagalli. I did not mean it." Athrun said as he took again Cagalli's hand and kissed its back. After that he left immediately. When no one is around Kira started throwing things.

"ATHRUN AARGH!" Kira shouted as he felt frustration and pain.

"Athrun was my first kiss! Haaa Lacus! No…." Kira was silently sobbing in the infirmary.

Cagalli went to visit finally Kira in the infirmary when she saw Athrun walking very fast and his face is red.

"Athrun? What happened?" Cagalli asked

"No-nothing, um Cagalli, I, uh just visited her and she's fine." Athrun said as he averts his gaze.

"Huh sure… I'll be going then." Cagalli said and bid her good bye.

Cagalli went inside the infirmary and upon opening the door a pillow was immediately thrown in her face.

"KIRA YAMATO YOU BETTER EXPLAIN WHAT YOU JUST ID OR I'LL MAKE SURE TO DOUBLE YOUR PAIN" Cagalli warned Kira who looks like he just cried.

"Nothing! Just leave me alone!" Kira shouted

"Stop being a crybaby!"

"I'm not! You did not know what I just lost!"

"Seriously? Stop being over dramatic and tell me what happened."

"You'll kill me if you knew…" Kira said in a ver low voice.

"Athrun just came here! What did he say!" Cagalli started panicking and grabbed Kira's collar.

"Stop that! I'm a patient here!"

"TELL ME WHAT HAPPENED!"

"I SAID NOTHING STOP PESTERING ME!" Kira who now stood up and faced Cagalli

"DID YOU DO SOMETHING WITH ATHRUN!" Cagalli is also now impatient and was shouting

"I SAID NONE STOP NAGGING ME!" Kira then out of reflex kicked Cagalli at the middle. Cagalli felt like she was being force to give birth at the moment Kira kicked her. She immediately held Kira's genital are holding to see if its attached.

"AAARGH!" Cagalli shouted. Her head is spinning from pain and cried as loud as she can. She don't know if this feeling is just new to her but It felt like she was having menstrual cramps while giving birth.

Kira immediately realized what he did to his own body and went to aide Cagalli.

"I'm sorry! You said it yourself to not pester you while having cramps!" Kira defended himself yet no response from Cagalli as she is still in pain. Nurse Natarle came right on time and saw the suffering 'Kira' So, she attended her first then scolded 'Cagalli'. Natarle called the house of Athha's to inform what happened and asked for them to pick up the twins.

"Haaa... too much for acting normal." Kisaka said as he drives the two back to the mansion.

AN: YES, THAT'S WHAT ATHRUN EXACTLY SAID IN GSD WHEN CAGALLI REMOVED THE RING AND GAE HER FINAL SPEECH TO THE CREW OF ARCHANGEL WHO IS DEPARTING TO FIGHT IN OUTERSPACE AND LEAVING CAGALLI IN ORB. MEANING HE KNOWS THAT THEY BOTH HAVE PRIORITIES TO HAVE A PEACEFUL FUTURE AND AFTER THAT THEY'LL BE TOGETHER AGAIN. PERIOD!
