R&R longer note at the end. Just fair warning lots of talking in this one
Tifa sat on the couch watching the man called Vincent resting in her spare bed, she had been racking her brain for a while on why she had brought this mysterious man back with her. Sure he had been injured but he could have been anyone, someone dangerous who after he was healed fully may try to harm her.
As these thoughts entered her mind she saw the man begin to stir, she sat still saying nothing as the man looked over at her, he slowly began to push himself up slowly sitting up looking around the room before he finally spoke.
"Thank you, for saving me" He said softly his voice barely a whisper.
"Your welcome" Tifa smiled before sitting forward "If you're feeling well enough I'd like to ask you a few questions". She waited for a response as Vincent sat silent for a while before turning to her nodding, taking a deep breath she began with the most important question she needed answering.
"Who are you?" Tifa asked confidently.
"My name is Vincent" He began slowly swinging his legs over the bed to look her straight into her eyes he seemed to be trying to choose his next words carefully, now that he was this close Tifa saw that his eyes were a rather bright yellow "I'm not like you. Many years ago I was working in a lab when it was suddenly attacked by an unknown group of mercenaries, the lab team I was working with were taken away along with myself. We didn't know where they took us but when I awoke I was alone, trapped in what seemed to be a prison cell made of a pure black stone unsure what had happened to the rest of my team". He paused watching Tifa trying to process what he had said. A prison? Labs? Mercenaries? What had happened to this man? She nodded indicating he could continue his story.
"Day after day they tortured me" Vincent continued his voice a little stronger now "After a while I began becoming numb to the pain, it was then that it happened. I was led down the usual cold damp hallway but this time I was taken to a new place, it seemed similar to a lab the team working there all wore masks doing tests I hadn't seen before. I was strapped down to a table on this first time and injected with a strange red liquid, it felt like my blood was on fire when it entered my veins I'm surprised I lived through it. After a few times of this my body became use to it as it began to change me physically, my strength seemed to increase my eye sight got sharper but it wasn't without its side effects. As you can see my eyes are now a bright yellow, I guess you could call me akin to a demon at this point". Tifa moved back a little in a bit of shock from this revelation, she had heard rumours of experimentation on people but now seeing this man in front of her she realised that those rumours where true.
"I'm not sure how long I was trapped there but then it happened" Vincent looked up a small smile on his thin lips "Something happened, an explosion rocked the facility I was locked up in. I still don't know what happened fully but the aftershock broke the door on my cell and I escaped, I ran for what felt like miles before I finally managed to crawl out and was attacked by some creatures causing the wound you saw. I somehow managed to crawl to the park barely staying conscious until I saw you and took a chance". Tifa stared at him processing the rest of his story, it was hard to process if he was telling the truth but something told her he wasn't lying. The serenity in his eyes, the tone of his voice, years of bartending had taught her how to read peoples body language and tone. This man wasn't lying.

The brown haired woman covered her eyes from the light shining down as she arrived, it had been a while since she had left the facility but this time the mission was more important than ever. She remembered the tone of her leader's voice when he had told her to find him after her report and shivered a little, she waved to the two men she had brought with her as they went off to check the area. Walking through the village made of scrap she read a sign saying 'welcome to Sector Six', looking around she wondered how anyone could choose to live in this place.
Children ran past her as the hems of her black skirt fluttered up a little before the two men came back reporting they had found information of the escapee being spotted in the area. She smiled as she followed them, this would be easier than she thought as they wondered through a tunnel heading for a nearby park. Not long now, just a little more walking and then he will be in her grasp once more.
So here we have chapter three done and lets just digest what we all learned, lots of talking in this chapter so that we can get through a lot of Vincent's story. Just before I see it in the reviews, I'm not sure how Vincent became how he was in the game but this is fanfiction so I made a way for him to become how he is to fit the story
Anyway, I will see you in chapter four and I promise there won't be as much dialogue in that one. Since someone has now showed up then I'm sure we will have some action coming your way
