Hello readers, I must say I updated the story lot sooner than I expected I was going to, I have been working quite hard on my other story, but due to some personal stuff I've stopped working on it for quite a while but hopefully I'll get back to it soon, in the meantime hopefully you'll enjoy another chapter of Insecure demon Lord misadventures.

"I must say this is certainly something" Sylvie says, as she examines my blood covered adventure application form, while me and my two companions sit on a rather comfortable couch opposite, the room itself is large and spacious but very sparse in Furnishings and furniture, with the only thing of notable interest being a large desk and cabinet on the opposite side of the room, with a particular object in the glass fronted cabinet, a large and quite unique looking pale white gemstone, ever since entering the room I've had this strange feeling like why like I should touch it or pick it up, almost like it's calling to me in a strange way, however I turn my attention back to Sylvie, who appears to have finished examining the application form.

"I can certainly say that in all my years as the head Guild Master, I've never seen the mirror do something like that have, nor have I heard of a mirror doing something like that before" Sylvie says in a surprise manner, seemingly re-examining my form, most likely looking for something she may have missed, that might have explained what happened several minutes ago, she looks at me with a searching look, all I can do is shrug my shoulders, because I have absolutely no idea myself why that happened.

"well, in that case I don't think we can handle you here" she says putting the forms on the table, while looking at me with what I can assume as an apologetic look.

"Huh?" Shera says, tilting her head to the side slightly in obvious confusion.

"What do you mean by that exactly?" Rem says, giving a look of confusion of her own.

"Well I'm certain you're a high level, but considering what happened with the mirror, we have no way to tell exactly however level you are, which means that you're frankly beyond our knowledge" Sylvie says as she put sleep blood-soaked forms back on the table, while giving me another apologetic look, despite not being surprised I guess this is just another piece of information to solidify the fact that I am ungodly overpowered in this world, which is a positive in many ways, considering that there's most likely no one in this world that I know of that can actually stand up to me on a equal footing, but that's also going to be a little bit challenging considering that fights against other people are going to be completely unfair for them, it would basically be like sending a toddler to fight a tank using a pair of safety scissors, my inner monologue is suddenly cut short, as I suddenly feel that strange presents again, I look around only for my eyes to rest upon the strange gemstone in the glass cabinet and then I hear it, it that godforsaken whispering again, and appears to be coming from the gemstone, as I continued to stare at it the Whispering seems to become clearer for just the second, but then I'm certainly broken from my staring contest with rock by a small tap on my shoulder, turning my head to the left I see that Shera is looking at me with a look of concern.

"Diablo are you ok? you totally spaced out there for a couple of minutes" Shera says with concern evident in her voice, I give her a small nod which seems to reassure her, I then turned my attention back to the Guild Master in front of me.

"Forgive me, I was lost in thought for a second there" I say in the voice of diablo, giving a wave of my hand to signify that it was nothing significant.

"Well ok, as I was saying, even if you were to register, there is no way that we can decide missions and quests for you, considering that your level is too high to measure" she says with a forced smile, obviously trying to let me down gently, I guess as to be expected, she's probably thinking that I might go on a rampage if she denies me straight up.

"So, you won't accept me as an adventurer" I say will it even tone, despite not being surprised by the outcome, at least hope that I might be able to say something to convince her otherwise, the last thing I want to do is travel long-distance just be turned away as another Adventurers Guild.

"Well, we're happy to register strong people, but since I'm weaker than you on a level basis, it means that I technically have no authority of you" Sylvie says as she gives a shrug of her shoulders, I can't help but agree with her logic to despite wanting her to reconsider her position.

"I don't care about such trivial things, as long as you pay our rewards that is enough for me" I say trying to put as much confidence and apathy into my voice as possible, I just hope to whatever god is listening that she might reconsider, considering that I've said I don't care about the hierarchy, Sylvie seems to consider my statement for a moment before letting out an admittedly cute little laugh.

"You are a really interesting day you know that, alright then, glad to have you aboard, diablo" she says as she stretches have a hand in a familiar gesture, I reach out my own hand instinctively before hesitating for just a moment, but I decide it's probably better to accept then deny, grabbing a hold of her little hand, i give It a thumb shake which he seems happy about.

After releasing her hand he quickly jumped up from the couch and walks behind her desk, pulling out a large stack of papers and then beginning to shuffle through theml, as she does this my tension returns back to the strange crystal in the glass cabinet, focusing on it I can hear the whispers becoming clearer for just a moment again, straining my superhuman hearing, I can just make out what is being said, "my master what's the matter?" I hear a distinctly feminine voice say "nothing Jidril just pre battle nerves as all.." I hear another voice, this time of distinctly male voice, however the rest of it was cut off by Sylvie.

"I can't imagine that there are many quests that fit your actual abilities at the moment..." Sylvie as she continues to rummage through the papers.

"Hmm, this is a new quest" she says, as she pulls out a particular paper from the pile examining it for a moment.

"What's the matter?" Rem says, causing me to jump a little on the inside, I don't know she was there she's been so quiet, I quickly turn my attention to Sylvie, to as she continues to examine the quest form in her hands.

"A few things, this is the best question I've got so far, care to give it a try?" she says, as she holds up the paper to us, looking at the paper, there is a picture of what appears to be some kind of monstrous snake with writing benefit, but luckily I can actually read it, the quest was simple enough head to the Eastern man-eating Woods, and eliminate a Madara snake, beneath the larger writing was smaller writing that stated once complete return to the guild, with proof of the creatures death and payment will be issued, deciding that this is most likely the best quest we're going to get for a while, I take the paper from Sylvie's hand, rolling it up and placing it into my satchel, I signal to both my companions that we should go, Rem and Shera, both get up and make their way towards the door with me following close behind them, however as I'm about to cross the threshold, I decided I should ask a question that I've had for the last couple of minutes, I turned my attention back to Sylvie.

"Sylvie" I say in Diablo's deep voice, causing her to jump slightly as she looks at me obviously thinking I had already left

"Is something the matter Diablo" she said have a slightly confused look on her face.

"I was just wondering, does the name jibril mean anything to you?" I say looking her in the eyes as I do so, she looks confused for a second before suddenly having a look of realisation cross her face.

"Yeah that name does ring a bell, there's this really old Legend about an Angel of Death called jibril, I can't tell you much more than that, but you might be able to find more about the legend at the library" she says as she looks at me with a questioning look.

"I see, thank you for the information" I say as I turn and make my way out of her office, quickly catching up with my two companions,

"What was that about?" Rem says as she looks at me with her arms crossed.

"Nothing I just had a question I need an answer, now come on let's go the sooner we get this quest over with the better" I say as I move past my companions to take the lead, I can feel them both looking at me questioningly before following after me.
