Days passed and Shiho is still staying in the hospital. Familiar faces visited her but none of them is the person she's wanting to see.
'Where's Kudo kun? Why he's not here to see me?' Her thoughts.
The image of Shinichi and Ran together pop inside her mind.
'Oh right! I am Shiho Miyano and I'm living in different world? Maybe that's why Shinichi wasn't here, there's no reason for us to crossed our paths.'
She keeps staring at the ceiling. Then the door cracked open, she looks in that direction and see her Sister smiling at her. Akemi's holding a bouquet of sunflowers, she closed the door behind her and walk closer to her.
"Just 3 more days and you'll be out of here." Akemi said.
"That's good news! I don't wanna lay down here anymore and keep staring at the ceiling."
"I know you're bored but here's the flowers that your future boyfriend gave you." Akemi hand over the bouquet to Shiho.
"Future boyfriend?" She asked confused.
Akemi nods.
"Don't tell me you forgot Ryusuke Higo? You two started dating but still not official."
"I- I'm dating Higo?" Shiho blushed.
"You're really weird! Last year you started dating and you're so happy about it!"
"Oh? Tell me more!" Shiho happily said.
'I can't believe I am actually dating Higo! This life is all I ever wanted! I'm living with my parents and my sister is alive!'
"You and Shinichi watching a matched together and then Higo spotted you in the crowd and after the game he walk towards you and introduce himself to you and I remembered when you told me that it's like the world stops for you when he takes your hand for a friendly handshake. That's so cheesy and annoying at the same time." Akemi laughs.
"Shinichi?" Shiho asked.
"You don't remember your bestfriend? He's a det-"
"Detective. Yeah I know that."
"Good! I'm tired explaining things to you please stop acting like you have an amnesia!"
Shiho blinks, Akemi started to peel off the fruits for Shiho.
"Where's Shinichi? Why he's not visiting me?" She asked curiously.
Akemi stopped peeling and stare at her.
"Dad kinda actually don't want him around you because of the accident."
"What accident?"
"You two went in a theme park and then you accidentally fall and your head hits on a hard rock that's why you were in coma for like half year now, Dad is blaming him because of that. But Shinichi is just protecting you from the pervert guys you encountered."
"Oh..."
"But he secretly visits you because he asked me if I can help him, he's really a nice and caring guy so it's hard to say no." She smiled.
"He's really in-" Akemi was cut off.
The door wide opened and it's the nurse who will check up on Shiho. Akemi looks at Shiho, she excuse herself and let Shiho takes a rest.
After checking up on her the nurse left and she's alone again. Her head is aching and her vision is getting blurry.
'Maybe this is the effect of the drug that I took from the nurse.' Her thoughts.
It's already 11 o' clock in the evening, she closed her eyes and trying to sleep. After 5 minutes, she heard the door cracked open again. She didn't open her eyes since she can feel it's just her sister. She can hear the door closed behind and heard a footsteps walking towards nearby the hospital bed. No one talks so she assumed Akemi thinks she's sleeping already.
"I heard you're awaken from your deep slumber sleeping beauty." A familiar whispered said.
'That voice!'
"I'm finally glad you fine now." The voice whispered again.
'Kudo kun...'
Shinichi is staring at Shiho. He wanted to touch her hands and embrace her tightly but he knows he can't. He's not even allowed to visit her because of her Dad.
"I'm so sorry I couldn't save you from falling." He lower his voice making sure she'll not be awake.
He walks on the door but before he leave, he glare at her one more time.
"Sleep well..." he whispered.
He left the room and Shiho smiled.
3 days has passed and finally she's going out from the hospital. Her Mom is pushing her wheelchair while Her Dad is filing the discharge papers. They ride on their car and waiting for Her Dad to come out.
"Finally we're going home!" Elena said.
It's obvious in her eyes she's happy and excited.
"I'm so happy too Mom." She softly said.
Atsushi ride on the driver seat and started the engine.
"Would you like to eat somewhere Shi?" Atsushi asked.
"Yes Dad. I want to eat in a British Restaurant."
"Ok little princess!"
Shiho roll eyes, her dad chuckled. He starts driving off to the British Restaurant they used to eat. They entered the Restaurant and order the foods they desired to eat. Shiho is enjoying moments with them. This feels like a dream for her but this is real.
'I'm wondering where's our house located at?' Her thoughts.
After eating at the British restaurant, the Miyano family went home. Their house is big just like a mansion. Shiho wandered her eyes around.
'Wow!' Her thoughts.
"Are you tired now? Would you like to sleep?" Elena asked.
She nods and Her Mom pushed her wheelchair to her room.
"This isn't your main room but for the meantime you'll stay here until you can finally walk without needed support." Elena said.
She helped her daughter to sit on the bed.
"Call me whenever you need me alright sweetie?" Her Mom smiled.
"Thank you Mom." Shiho hugged her Mother.
"I love you so much Mom." She softly said.
'It feels good to have a Mom.'
"I'm gonna do something but call me on your mobile phone when you need something ok?"
Elena left the room. Shiho can't stopped smiling, she's feeling happy at the moment.
'I am really happy that I got a chance to live again and have a life I've always wanted.'
She takes a rest on the bed.
