Too Know a Criminal
Chapter 3
The buck's mouth dropped to the floor as his blue eyes landed on a doe that he once knew very well. He found himself frozen as he looked her over as she entered, her ears fell behind her head and the look she was giving was one he expected a very intense glare. He swallowed slightly at how sexy she was in a police outfit.
His eyes also widened for a bit when a fox came in behind her and stood to the side with his hands behind his back. "Well, this certainly is not a surprise!" Judy exclaimed as she slammed the door behind Nick.
The voice snapped the buck out of his frozen state, he shook himself then plastered a smirk on his face. "J-Judy, look at you, you certainly showed me eh look at you, you made it as a cop. what's say you and I head out for some ice-cream huh?" He chuckled.
Judy growled which made the buck and even Nick slightly nervous, the foxes eyes widened at just how menacing she sounded, never once had he seen her act like that. "Um, I guess that's a no...heh..I'll...I'll sit down."
Judy slammed a file on the desk quite hard making the buck jump, "so Jack, it says here that you have been brought in as suspect for murder. Hmph, I knew you'd be capable of doing something as despicable as this." Judy said with a glare and she leaned back folding her arms.
Jack shrugged as he leaned against the chair, "you can question me all night Judy, but unless you got proof I did it, you can't convict me."
Judy glared harder at him as she then turned to the file she smiled when she spotted a photo of the buck with a knife in his hand he seemed to be sneaking around an ally way. "let me show you this, we have this knife here in our possession which now has blood covered on it that was recovered at the crime scene the last place you were at, now until we get DNA results back we will prove that you have killed someone!"
Jack's eye widened and he seemed to curse under his breath, Judy wasn't finished "we also know that there are others involved and another murder is planned to take place, now if you tell me who it is, your sentence will be reduced."
Jack seemed to panic as his ears went droopy he knew the mammals that he worked for were not friendly at all, and if he so much as blabbed anything about them to the police. He'd be the next target on their list.
Frowning Jack breath in and smirked as he remembered the glove he was wearing his DNA should not show up at all, "I have no idea what you're talking about Judy. Now why don't we forget all this and go on that date? You know I should mention Judy your looking mighty hot in that police costume." Judy blushed ever so slightly but she shook it off.
Nick found himself growling slightly as he watched the buck crawl onto the table not really caring that he was there. Clenching his fist Nick got a hold of the buck and him back his seat and place him firmly down on it. Jack winced at the suddenness, but he smirked up at the fox behind him.
"What's the matter Fox you jealous?!" Jack chuckled.
"No, I'm doing what a cop should do, and that's keeping a perp in line," Nick snarled as he stood behind the buck.
Jack frowned but he smirked straightening his leather jacket "anyways, aren't I entitled to a phone call?"
Judy sighed realizing she had to agree, "fine, you get one phone call."
Jack grinned blinking his eyes at her "thank you baaabe."
Judy shivered and balled her fist and smashed it down on the table making both Nick and Jack jump in surprise, "DON'T. EVER. CALL. ME. THAT!" She stated angrily staring down the terrified buck whose eyes had widened.
She swiftly turned around and made her way out of the investigation room, Nick stepped aside as she walked out. "Wow that's some partner ya have their fox." Jack said as he grinned.
Nick ignored him and walked out the room locking the door behind him, he looked around and found his partner half way down the hall and crouching down her ears over her head. He sighed as he crouched down and sat beside her.
"I'm sorry Nick, I've never been that angry before. It took a lot outta me." Judy said as her ears lifted and went behind her head.
"Hey, no need to apologies to me. I'm surprised ya haven't gotten that angry with me calling ya carrots." Nick joked making her laugh a little.
"Oh, come on you know I don't mind you calling me that. But If I here it from someone else. They'll see what's coming to them" Judy said shaking her fist.
Nick chuckled and opened his mouth to say something, but the chief approached them, "Hopps, Wilde any progress with our suspect?" He asked.
"I'm sorry sir, I couldn't get him to crack, he's wants his one phone call." Judy said in shame as she stood up for the chief.
Bogo breathed in and out, he sighed "fine give him his phone call. But that buck does not leave the precinct, am I clear?"
Judy nodded in understanding, "yes, sir."
Bogo nodded and walked off, "gee, someone's in a bad mood today." Nick commented.
"Yeah, I've noticed come on, back to the interrogation room." Judy said as she walked signaled to another officer to tell them to bring a phone.
