The next day at school, Star and I walked to Justin's locker. He wasn't there yet so we had some small talk about our plan. When he came, neither of us said a word. He opened the locker and fiddled with things as I pulled out a yard stick and held it close to his backside. He noticed this and backed away.

"What are you doing?" Justin asked.

"Just seeing how large your backside is," I replied.

" We're going to start buying you clothes," Star said with a smirk.

Justin walked down the hallway, and we followed him. Star moved to his left and I moved to his right, placing my hand on his shoulder.

"I know you're still mad at me," I said, "but I wanna be friends. For Jordan's sake."

"Not because you like me," Justin replied.

"I didn't mean it like that."

Star then took his hand lightly, and he stopped in place.

"Paulina was mean to you and I kinda was too," Star said. "We're trying to make up for hurting you."

"What do you want from me?" Justin asked.

"We want to be on great terms with you while we're friends with Jordan."

"That's not all," I interjected, tapping Justin on his back before he turned to look at me. "I want you to hang out with Star and me at school and off-campus as much as you can, I want you to join the cheerleaders because it's something I do, I want you to wear the stuff we're gonna buy you since your brother loves our tastes, and I want you to be in love with Star so she can have someone to distract her while I'm with Jordan."

"Star," Justin called out lightly, "do you want to go on a date?"

Star nodded her head and kissed Justin on the cheek.

"If Star enjoys you enough, I'll eventually begin to date you," I said.

"What if I don't want to?" Justin asked.

I placed my hands on his shoulders and Star wrapped her arms around his stomach as she stood behind him.

"We're trying to turn our friendship of two into a friendship of four with you and Jordan," I said, placing my face closer to his. "Since three of those four are around the same age, it would only be right if you gave Star and me the right to see if we wanted you as our man. You could be the love of my life, but I'd never know if you didn't go out with me."

"I don't think I'm in love with either of you but it's extremely easy to get a date with me," Justin said. "I'm very confident I'll want to be Star's boyfriend if she wishes for that to happen."

Star kissed Justin on the cheek and he looked back at her with a smile. The two then held hands and walked on the side of me.

"I'd hate to be a third wheel," I said.

"Then don't," Justin replied, walking forward with Star.

I frowned, but attended classes as usual until after school, where Star came over to me after waiving at Justin.

"You really like him," I said.

"He seems okay," Star replied. "Besides, we have to get along with him if we're going to keep being friends with Jordan."

"I know. It's just hard to imagine him as our number three."

"Well he's not as in touch with his feminine side as Jordan, but I think he'll come around if we're persistent. Like we could start with just hanging out with him and then move to the cheerleading and wardrobe change."

"I'm starting to have second thoughts about this."

"Well you said you were tired of regular boyfriends so why not try to make him have as much in common with you as possible?"

I nodded my head and changed into my ghost form, lifting Star as we flew to Jordan's house, entering his bedroom through the window. Jordan was sitting on his bed when we came in and ran up to hug me.

"Did you become friends with Justin?" Jordan asked.

"I have a surprise for you," I said, pointing at Star. "Justin wants to go on a date with her."

"Really? Does this mean Star's going to be my new big sister?"

Star smiled.

"I thought I was your big sister," I said.

"Yeah, but Star will be related to me if she marries Justin," Jordan replied.

"And I'll be related to you if I marry Justin."

"Yeah. That would be really cool because then you would move in with him here and we would live together."

"Well," Star said, "I could move in with Justin after I graduate and then you could come stay with us."

I looked at Star with surprise. There was no way she could afford to take care of herself, a boyfriend, and my baby.

"How about we talk about this at my house?" I asked.

"Alright Paulina," Jordan said as he wrapped his arms around Star's waist.

We flew to my home and the pair of Jordan and Star sat on my bed while I went to my closet.

"Now Jordan," I said, "you've told me you want to be like me, but I'm a cheerleader. Do you want to be one too?"

"Yeah," Jordan replied.

"Good, though I don't know if we have one that can fit you."

"That's okay."

I bent down to Jordan and began to tickle him. Star moved on the side of Jordan and joined him in trying to tickle me. This series of attempts led Jordan to join me and Star in laying on the floor. Jordan came over to me to lay on my stomach and I held him. Star moved over to my side.

"Are you going to jinx my date with Justin?" Star asked.

"I didn't plan on it," I replied, looking at the now sleeping Jordan. "I just think it would be interesting to be related to our new friend by marriage."

"So he's going to date me and then marry you?"

I nodded my head, and Star laughed.

"Wanna phone Jordan's grandpa and tell him that he's spending the night here?" Star asked, me nodding my head in response.

Star went into another room, as to keep the noise of her call with Jordan's grandfather from waking the young boy. I looked at him as he laid motionless on top of me and rubbed his head. I knew from that moment that I would never allow anything to happen to him.
