"Shut the fuck up shitty hair." Bakugo snapped. His voice was ratios as sent an angry growl and got out of the car, slamming the door. Instead of going towards the school, he walked in the opposite direction, towards his house.
I sat there, hurt and stunned. What just happened?
Beside me, Sero frowned and put his hand on my shoulder. "He's just hurt by Midoriya, you know he didn't mean it." When I turned my head towards him, he saw the dejected in my eyes and sighed. "Just give him some time to cool off, I'm sure he'll talk to you later." I nodded but didn't respond as I turned off my car. I got out and hurried to class. I didn't want to be late...
When Izuku walked into the school's office, Nezu had been waiting for him by the entrance. When he saw him, he gave Izuku a slight frown but then smiled as he walked up to him. "Midoriya, welcome back!"
Izuku nodded. His eyes averted away from the small mouse. He was still angry from before. "Thanks." He voiced, his tone clipped. He felt himself glare at one of the door's exits behind Nezu. He just wanted to skip today, but he had to go on his first day. It wouldn't be a good look for his reputation.
Nezu beamed brightly at Midoriya as he tucked his hands behind his back. "You can still attend to class 1-A just like previously before, but we're gonna have to give you a test to see how much you have grown-" Izuku looked back into his principal's eyes. "If you pass this test, you'll be allowed to be caught up with the others and given your hero suit an upgrade."
Izuku nodded, shoving his hands in his pockets. "Yes sir." He replied. His tone still sounded as if he was in a bad mood.
Nezu frowned. "Is there something wrong, Izuku?"
Izuku sighed, his eyes fluttering closed. "Just a bit pissed off at Bakugo, that's all."
Nezu frowned. He wasn't used to this kind of behavior from the sm- he frowned deeper. Another thing that had changed about his student Izuku Midoriya. He was taller. Much taller than before. He hadn't changed into normal clothes as he had before. This was much more different than he was used to.
He had changed.
Even his hair was shorter than before.
Izuku rose an eyebrow. "Do I return to class right now, or will you be giving me a test right away?"
Nezu's eyes brightened as he clapped his eyes, bringing himself out of his thoughts. "Oh! No, we are fortunate to inform you, we are going to test you on a random date without letting you know. The day Shoto Aizawa brings you to me, will be the day you'll have your test."
Izuku sighed and nodded. Great. A surprise test. He should've expected that. Scratching his jaw, Izuku turned towards the staircase and waved goodbye to the principal, and walked away. He headed towards the classroom. He was nervous, yes, but it's not like he could act like his old self.
He's many things, but a liar is not one of them.
As he walked the halls to his old classroom, some of the students he recognized from previous years before, had stopped and gawked at him, their mouths dropped open. But he simply ignored them as he shoved his hands in his pockets and made his way at the doorway of his old classroom.
Everyone was seated in - what looked like - their old assigned seats from two years ago. He leaned on the doorway and frowned when he didn't see Bakugo seated at the front. When he smirked, he froze when he realized that the room had gone silent. He shifted his eyes and felt his gut twist, seeing that everyone was staring at him.
"HAH?!"
The whole class erupted in explosions for questions, except for Denki, Sero, Mina, and Kirishima of course. They weren't surprised. One after another, every student had stood up and rushed towards him.
"You're really back!"
"Holy crap you've grown!"
"Midoriya, where is your uniform?! It's very disrespectful-"
"Welcome back Izuku-kun!"
"Midoriya!"
"Why didn't you tell us you were leaving?!"
"WHEN DID YOU GET BACK-"
"How many girls did you get to-"
"Shut up Mineta!"
Izuku smirked as he watched all of his old classmates tackle each other, desperate to hug him, but he dodged them easily. Once they knew that they weren't going to be answered or able to get to him, they toned down and returned to their seats.
"Alright, class, settled down," Aizawa said.
"We're already settled down-" Mineta started, but Aizawa untangled his scarf and used his quirk to look intimidating. Mineta whimpered and backed down. Izuku smiled, amused. This was just like old times.
"Anyone else?" Aizawa asked, raising an eyebrow as he put his scarf back around his neck calmly. Everyone sweated and shook their head no, except for Izuku. He remained unfazed as he was still glued to the doorway, looking bored. "Very well." He coughed and closed his eyes, yawning. "As you can see-" He opened his tired eyes and glanced towards Izuku tiredly. Izuku noted how tired he still looked. "-Izuku Midoriya has transferred back to UA as of last night. Though I should warn you, we do not know the level of his power and we do not know why he has transferred back, but he will not be staying here for long."
Izuku himself yawned and closed his eyes, leaning his head against the doorway, tired as well. He didn't get much sleep last night. Another night terror and he was glad that Bakugo hadn't been woken up.
His parents were killed when he had just turned fifteen. That day, they were on their way to go to the airport to go to L.A. They were supposed to stay there for two weeks. They were supposed to get on that plane and have fun, but instead; a villain had attacked the shop next to them, causing an explosion that had made them swerve in the car and crash into a fire hydrant. Izuku's memories had been blurry and he was dizzy due to his injuries - but he couldn't do anything as the police dragged him out of the car, just in time for him to see the villain grab his parent's car and rip off the car doors.
He froze in terror, his mouth gaped open as he watched his mother fall to the cement ground and his father taken by the head and tore apart from his body. He remembered it so vividly. The car was flung into the air and dropped onto his mother. He had blood spewed everywhere on himself.
He remembers being dragged away by the police. Shouts were heard. Blood was severed. Life was lost. His heart was crushed.
"Midoriya?"
Ever since that day, he has been diagnosed with night terrors. Other's called it PTSD, BPD, but he didn't mind it too much. He was used to his sleepwalking. Waking up in tears and sweat, his throat scorched dry as he screamed for his parents, his hand reaching out.
The only way to hide the pain was to play it cool and smile.
That's all he was good for.
"Midoriya!"
"Huh?" Izuku blinked and realized that he was staring down at the ground. His teacher was crouched in front of him, looking up into his eyes. He showed visible concern for Izuku, as he reached up and placed his hand on the green-haired boy.
Aizawa's eyes narrowed in confusion. "I said you can return to your old assigned seat." He said, his voice softer.
Clearing his throat, Izuku nodded and shrugged Aizawa's grip off of his shoulder and sauntered towards his seat. Inside, he was freaking out. If it wasn't for snapping him out of his thoughts, he would've had to return home because he'd have a panic attack without realizing it, but he didn't.
Not this time.
On the outside, he had been staring at the floor, unnoticed that the others were looking at him, but now he played it cool with a smirk and headed towards his desk and sat down with a smile. He sighed tiredly. This day is going to take a while.
He had been staring outside the window for some time now and he thought that maybe he should stop and pay attention to class, but he never did. He's answered questions here and there, but he wasn't really there answering them. His close-set emerald eyes, narrowed in boredom. He wasn't keen on going to school today; nevertheless seeing Bakugo instantly when he had gotten back, but things hadn't exactly gone the way he wanted it to.
Then the bell rang.
He fluttered his eyes open as he suppressed a soft groan, exhaling a breath of stress he hadn't realized he had been holding. It felt as if he had been trapped in this classroom for the whole day, but he knew it wasn't true and that it had only been merely an hour. He felt himself stretch, yawning as he groaned tiredly. He sat up straight, leaned down and grabbed his bag, and hoisted it over his shoulder. He stood back up and jumped startled when he saw his old group, standing beside his desk with excitement in their eyes.
"Hey Deku-" Uraraka smiled cheekily but frowned when Izuku raised his hand up to stop her.
"Let me get one thing straight." Izuku yawned, closing his eyes and he leaned his head to the side. He opened one of his eyes and peered between Iida, Uraraka, Tsu and Todoroki who all had frowns on their lips. "Deku means stupid. Worthless. Vulnerable. I am not either of those things so there is no need to call me that-"
"But Midoriya, didn't you go through that with Uraraka?" Tsu asked, her brow confused.
"I did, but now I disagree." His soft gaze suddenly turned into a hard gaze, glaring at Tsu. "If I catch you calling me that stupid name, I will fight each and every one of you until you get it through your heads." His eyes wavered over the four of them before he rubbed his face and walked past them. He didn't make it to the door before being stopped by Bakugo who stepped in front of him on purpose. Izuku scoffed and rolled his eyes. "Move Bakugo."
He heard the class stop and pay attention to the two. They've never heard him call Bakugo by his name. Bakugo growled and narrowed his eyes reaching forwards to poke Izuku in the chest, but with one swift movement, his hand was being gripped tightly by Izuku.
"I said-" Izuku's green eyes turned red. He disliked Bakugo. Maybe that was the wrong word, he hated Bakugo and it was all thanks to his friends in Australia. They were the ones who made him realize that he never treated him once with kindness when he had learned he was quirkless.
Some friend he was.
"Move." He spat out the word venomously, growling just as loud as Bakugo had.
Suddenly Kirishima was there, chuckling nervously, getting between the two of us. His red eyes glanced back and forth between the both of us, but mostly at Bakugo but the two ignored the red-head, standing tall as they glared into each other's eyes, a cold aura suffocating the hallways and the classroom behind them.
"H-hey guys, couldn't we just get a-alo-"
"Shut up, Kirishima." Izuku turned his head and glared at him. Kirishima froze, his eyes widening as he realized that his eyes changed color. He never knew Izuku to be like this, but Izuku didn't care. Whether or not they still believe Izuku is the same cute boy, he wasn't and they had to see that.
Izuku turned his gaze back towards Bakugo. "Move and I won't blast you out of this building." He threatened. His voice still sounded cold and distant. "You don't know a thing about me. You don't know my past, my likings, my thoughts, my trauma, you don't even know my friend's names." Izuku inched closer to Bakugo's face and spat. It hit his nose. "You don't know me, Kaksuki Bakugo."
Bakugo growled and whipped his face, looking down at his sleeve that showed saliva. His eyes flashed a bright red and suddenly Izuku was faced with an explosion but he only smirked coldly. Izuku had been trained to deal with explosions, fires, police attacks, villain attacks, etc. He was experienced.
Just as his hand was thrown to his face, Izuku reached up and grabbed his arm, twisting it clockwise. He heard a snap and a pop and Izuku knew he broke his wrist. Kaksuki drew back and huffed big breaths, probably trying to hide the fact that he was in pain.
"DAMNIT IZUKU!" Bakugo screamed. "I CAME HERE TO TALK TO YOU BECAUSE-"
"You are not in the position to start talking to me, Bakugo." Izuku interrupted. Bakugo frowned, taken aback when Izuku talked so calmly. "You are nothing to me, but a narcissistic asshole who liked nothing else than to take advantage of other's who were beneath you, to boost about your quirk thinking you were better than everyone else, but you see the truth is-" Izuku stepped forwards and lifted Kaksuki's head up, looking into his eyes with pure hatred and calmness. "You're just scared."
"You know what?" Bakugo smiled and laughed, coaming his hand through his hair as he looked away for a second. "Your right."
Izuku frowned. "I'm so-"
"Your right." Bakugo looked back over to Izuku, a glint in his eyes. "I was a selfish child, but you want to know why?"
Kirishima stepped in, pleading in his eyes as he grabbed Bakugo's hands. "Babe please, you don't have to do thi-"
"Kirishima." Bakugo's eyes met with Kirishima's. "Let me do this."
Kirishima shut his mouth and looked away sadly.
"My mother was abusive. She called me weak, she put m-"
Izuku scoffed and put his hand up. "I don't need to hear your sob story, Bakugo," Izuku said, rolling his eyes annoyed. "You didn't have someone telling you to kill yourself. You had a choice whether or not to be kind to someone and guess what?" He glared at Bakugo. "You didn't stop bullying me until I left, fed up with your bullshit. I thought I needed you, I thought that you were the best person there was but the truth was you were the worst. You put me down just because you felt scared that I'd leave. You told me to kill myself every day in middle school, you didn't like me because you didn't like a quirkless wannabe 'Deku-'" Kaksuki flinched at that name. "all because I didn't have a quirk."
"I know but-"
"But what?" Izuku asked, throwing his hands up in the air. "Now that you've changed, now that you're not the angry selfish narcissistic asshole I knew and grew to loved as we grew up, things are changed? It makes it all better? You didn't stop when my parents died!"
There was a gasp. A few murmurs.
"The thing is, you think I'm better off with you by my side. You think that you're good for me but here's the thing." Izuku turned his body away towards the door, no longer facing Bakugo and the others. "You were poison for my health so I left and I got better, I changed. Now that I'm back, you see just how better I am and now you're Mr. goody two shoes. I don't want to hear from you." He turned his head a bit and looked back at Bakugo glaring. "You're dead to me."
Within that said, he walked out.
The door shut quietly behind him.
~ Izuku's pov: ~
He paced, walking quickly outside of the UA building. He had his thumb over his bottom lip as he bit the nail, hard. His eyes held cold stone anger as he clamped down with his canine teeth. Warm rich blood that tasted like iron slid into his tastebuds. He didn't feel the pain.
His bangs flowed with the wind as he turned left and right, up and down the line he was pacing on, back and forth. His shoes slapped the pavement angrily as he tried to think of whatever he was going to do.
Bakugo had gotten under his skin. Was his response bad? Not called for?
Smoke, drink or hit?!
Finally, with one swift move, his greedy hands snatched a cigarette out of its box and lit it. Smoke it was. He inhaled the toxics. It made him relieved and he didn't care if it was killing him slowly. His eyes flickered to the fast movement he saw of what looked like - a black cat? The feline stopped and turned its head, locking eyes with him.
Wherever the cat was going to in such a rush, it paused, distracted by Izuku himself. It seemed like the cat no longer wanted to go wherever it needed to be as it seems like Izuku was its target now. The cat turned its body towards him and started prodding its way over to him. Its paws padded lightly on the pavement, much different from Izuku's own footing.
His eyes traced the black cat that ran across the street and meowed. Frowning, he drew the cigarette in his mouth taking another drag before crouching and reaching the hand that wasn't holding the cigarette, out to the feline who had stopped before him. The cat meowed happily and trodded close enough that it was rubbing its face on his hand.
"Hey there.." Izuku said softly, cooing. He took another drag and flicked it. His eyes peered mysteriously at the cat as he watched it sit down in front of him and started meowing. Smiling, he tilted his head to the side, smirking. "What, you hungry?"
The cat's meows began more disorientated, the louder it became and suddenly Izuku's head could process what the cat was saying.
"You're the one who is chosen." A voice came from the cat's throat, it's green eyes stared into Izuku's own. It sounded as if the cat was amazed as if he had done his ultimate goal.
Taken back, Izuku rose an eyebrow. "Excuse me?" Was this someone using their quirk?
The cat's eyes narrowed. "You can hear me?" The cat asked, standing now on all four's. Izuku frowned, looking over at his cigarette. He flicked it before taking another drag and putting it out.
"About that-" Izuku looked behind him over at the UA doors to see no one there, so he turned back, took a drag and put it out, before exhaling and continuing to talk, looking at the cat. His gut turned. "What the hell do you mean the chosen one?"
"You can see me. Hear me." The cat's eyes looked up at a fly that buzzed around its face. It pounced and tried to catch the fly by pawing at it, but it escaped. "damn.." It muttered. Turning its attention back to Izuku, he sat again and yawned. "You can talk to me."
"You're a cat-" Izuku stated, but the cat laughed. "What's so funny?"
"I'm a spirit cat, human."
Izuku rolled his eyes. "That's it-" He put his hands on his thighs and pushed himself up, groaning. "I'm talking to a cat and the cat is talking back to me. This is insane." he turned towards the doors of UA, sighing. Walking up to the door, he pulled it open and turned his head back towards where the cat had been but frowned deeper when the cat was gone.
Maybe he was insane after all.
"Are you sure you don't want to come with us?" Todoroki asked with hope in his eyes.
Mina and Todorki were in the car with Kaminari, Uraraka, Bakugo, Kirishima and Tenya. Kirishima was in the back, Todorki was in the passenger seat and Bakugo was the one driving with Tenya, Uraraka, Mina and Kaminari in the back as well.
They were all outside the building of UA in the parking lot about to go to the mall to have lunch. As much as Izuku had wanted to join them - besides Bakugo being there - he had to go and search for a job. He also needed to head to the hospital to see All Might.
Izuku Midoriya was standing outside the Mercades Kirishima owned. "Nah, I'm good," Izuku said, sighing. The air was bitter cold, it stung his lungs but he didn't mind it. It was better than the hot air in Australia. "I gotta do some errands and it's probably gonna take longer than I want it to."
Nodding, Todoroki sighed and smiled sadly at him. "Welcome home, Izuku."
Taken back, Izuku felt himself blush. Did he just call him by his first name? Recovering his exposure, Izuku smirked and leaned forwards, taking his chin and lowering it so they were locking eyes evenly. "Good to be home, Shouto." He breathed softly, chuckling lightly when a blush scattered across his face when he added a wink. Reaching into his back pocket, he stepped back and grabbed his phone. He comprehended that Ryley had attempted to call him.
Pressing call, he touched the speaker button and nodded towards the car and turned around. At the second click, he picked up.
"Dude you missed a HUGE party over here!"
Izuku smiled when he heard a woman's muffled voice in the background. He didn't know if it was Angela or Noah.
"Bitch get off my dick, it's my turn to speak to him!"
Laughter and drinks were being heard and Izuku scowled in jealousy. They were probably at a party right now. Lucky assholes. Izuku laughed loudly. "Dude, you seriously just back talk one of the girls?" He asked, reaching up and scratching his hair.
"Yeah, it was Angela. She can suck it, it's my turn to-"
"RYLEY GET YOUR ASS-"
"Ryley where are you right now?"
"We're at the smoking spot!"
"Angela can't climb tree's, go to the spooky looking ass tree and climb, she wo-"
"SHUT UP IZUKU-"
Izuku laughed, throwing his head up in the air as he listened to crashing and shouting over at the other end. He turned around and stared at the ground, rubbing his neck. Angela was perfect, but that didn't mean you couldn't piss her off easily. She was the mom's friend, but she was also one of those people who always knew how to party.
"GET OFF-" He heard Ryley struggling in the background. As Izuku waited patiently, he was about to hang up before he heard hard breathing. "Alright, I'm back." He heard Ryley sigh.
"You're such a fucking idoit sometimes, Ryley," Izuku smirked, turning around. He frowned when he saw the car still there. Everyone was looking at him with shock, but Bakugo's eyes were narrowed in confusion, studying his every muscle and fibre.
"It's not my fault that she gets easily offended-"
"Bro it's your fault for insulting her when you knew she was around." Izuku locked eyes with Kirishima. He stared back.
"Fuck off, she would've taken you away if I said-"
Izuku snickered and shook his head, biting his lip. He looked away from Kirishima."You miss me that much, doll?" He inquired, looking back up to Uraraka. Their windows were all open.
"You really have to ask that boo?" Izuku recognized Ryley was teasing - they performed this all the time and it always made Angela jealous.
He turned to the side and saw a sign that said 'No parking' and rolled his eyes. "With the way I treat you? You always come back for this dick" He clicked his tongue grinning.
"Damn bro, you gotta expose me like that?" Ryley laughed.
"I'm standing here outside my friend's car full of people with you on speaker." Izuku turned his gaze and winked at Todoroki who turned red again and looked away. "Say hi guys!"
"Nice to meet you, I'm Tyna Iida!"
"Ejrio Kirishima!"
"Yo." Came from Bakugo.
"Uchaco Uraraka!"
"Shouto Todorki."
"Who's Ryley?" Denki asked.
"Awww is Ryley cute?" Mina asked, poking her head out the window. Kirishima and Kaminari along with Uraraka groaned in pain by her weight.
Laughing, Izuku winked and stuck out his tongue. "He only gets cute under the covers."
"I fucking heard that asshole!"
Izuku burst out laughing, covering his mouth. "You can't do shit bro you in Australia."
"I'm totally gonna beat your ass when we come down for the party!"
Izuku's amusement was whipped off his face, now serious. "Shit, Angela wasn't joking about that?"
"She never lies."
"Right." he rolled his eyes and saw that Mina had gone out of the car and was standing beside him now.
"Nice to meet you, Ryley!" She cheered. "My name is Ashido Mina."
" Damn Izuku sounds like you have hot chicks-"
Izuku quickly put him off the speaker and brought it to his ear. He might not exactly be his old self, but he still cared about them. Holding up a finger towards Mina, he walked a bit away from the car and Mia and hissed. "Come up here and see how that goes when you say that." He growled.
"Woah, protective much dude?"
"When you come down here, you are not to hook up with anyone from my class or you'll be personally dealing with me." He threatened.
"What the fuck-"
"Do you understand Ryley Torres?" Izuku was practically like a cat with its fur sticking up with anger.
"Pfft yeah whatever, fine."
Smiling, his anger disappeared and he was now walking back towards them with him on speaker again. "Sorry about that, Ryley has problems." He smiled kindly at Mina and the others. A bit too kind.
"I do not have fucking problem-"
"Dude you gotta have to admit it at some point," Izuku smirked.
"Oi, you're the one to talk!"
Izuku scoffed. "Oh shut the hell up." He looked over at Mina and smiled. Mina nodded but didn't say anything back. She didn't know what to say.
This time it was Ryley's turn to scoff.
"Oh, now you're saying you don't have problems?"
"I'm not saying that-"
"Then why aren't you agreeing?"
"I'm not denying it either-"
"So you admit that you have PTS-" Click.
Izuku hung up and shoved his phone in his pocket. He clapped his hands and faked a smile towards the others. "That is the last you'll be hearing about from and about Ryley." Before anyone could say anything, he left without a word.
When those doors to the school opened and he saw Izuku Midoriya stroll out, his breath was taken away. With Izuku's hair shorter, muscles more visible and a tattoo of a skull wrapped around with a snake and flowers on his right shoulder added everything else. He was smoking hot!
Bakugo growled under his breath and wanted to look away, but he couldn't. Even if he had a boyfriend and Izuku hated him, Bakugo still couldn't get rid of the feeling Kirishima always made him feel.
Izuku's movement stopped and he seemed to be on his phone arguing with someone. Bakugo frowned. Who was he talking to? Why is he always on that fucking phone?! His heart sped up when Izuku rolled his eyes and turned towards us, locking eyes with Bakugo. His angered frown turned into a sly smile. He said some things before hanging up and making his way over to the passenger side.
"Hey, guys." He said, his voice rich and smooth, a lot deeper than his old tone two years ago. His head stuck in Todoroki's window so he could examine who was in the back. "Girls." He nodded, winking at the two of them. He drew back once the girls squeaked out hi and locked eyes with Bakugo once again. He winked at him.
Didn't he hate him?
What the actual fuck.
Izuku twisted his wrist out of its place claiming he hated him, but now he's smiling and winking as if nothing ever happened? Maybe he's playing Bakugo. Maybe that's his plan. Lure him into liking him enough to cheat or break up with Kirishima and then break his heart.
"Kirishima had informed us that you didn't want to come with us after school," Todoroki stated, his voice strained. Bakugo felt himself frown. Was he affected by him as well? He looked in the back and saw that the girls were blushing and Iida along with Kirishima was paying attention to Izuku.
Were they all mesmerized by him?
"Yeah, I didn't want to be around Bakugo so I was gonna go ahead and skip this." His eyes flickered towards Bakugo's quickly and back to Todoroki's.
"Oh, I see." He said. There was disappointment in his tone. "Are you sure you don't want to come with us?"
Izuku shook his head, no emotion on his face as he sighed. "Nah I'm good." He inhaled sharply and exhaled, fog coming out of his mouth. "I gotta do errands anyway and it's probably gonna take longer than I want it to."
What were his errands?
Todoroki nodded. "Welcome home Izuku."
Wa-
Did he just call him by his-
Is Izuku fucking blushing?!
Bakugo felt jealousy bubble inside of him. He wanted to smash Todoroki's fucking head in the dashboard- he shook his head. He has Kirishima as his boyfriend. Focus. He felt himself grow angry as he watched Izuku lean in towards Todoroki and take his chin lower. Bakugo could hear Todoroki grunt.
"It's good to be home," Izuku murmured against his lips, but they didn't touch. He added a wink before backing away and shoving his hand in his pocket and taking his phone and pressed the call.
Jesus fuck. Another call?
Just as Bakugo turned away and went into the drive, Mine tapped his shoulder. "Sorry." Mina whined, but cleared her throat. "-but don't leave just yet, I wanna hear who he's talking to."
Bakugo groaned in annoyance when he heard Uraraka join in, agreeing. "You guys are impossible." He chuckled. He heard Uraraka whine but Mina slapped her shoulder and told her to shut up. Bakugo frowned and decided to look over and hear his conversation as well.
"Dude you missed a huge party over here!"
Party? Since when does Izuku party?
Bakugo heard a male voice boom from the phone. Izuku placed him on speaker? Why didn't he do that before? Bakugo heard muffling coming from the background. Suddenly the male voice started shouting.
"Bitch get off my dick, it's my turn to speak with him!" There were a few crashes here and there but nothing sounded too serious to Bakugo. Were they partying? He could hear glass clinking and background music.
Izuku burst out laughing. "Dude-" dude? "-you seriously just backtalk to one of the girls?" He asked, light amusement and jealousy were detected by Bakugo. What did they have for him to be jealous about?
"Yeah, it was Angela. She can suck it, it's my turn to-"
"RYLEY GET YOUR ASS-"
"Ryley where are you right now?" Izuku asked, smirking.
"We're at the smoking spot!"
What the fuck did he just hear? Smoking spot? Since when does- Bakugo looked down at Izuku's back pocket jeans and saw what looked like a tiny square. In the other pocket, was what looked like a lighter.
He smokes.
"Angela can't climb trees, go to the spooky looking ass tree and climb, she won-"
"SHUT UP IZUKU-" Izuku threw his head up, laughing. Bakugo's cheeks turned a bit pink when he realized it was the purest laugh he'd ever heard. It was low and smooth, and he found it rather sexy. He closed his eyes and mentally smacked himself. Why was he having these thoughts when he was already taken?
"GET OFF-" the male - Ryley - shouted. Bakugo thought he heard him struggling. With a few final hard breaths and a sigh, Ryley spoke again. "Alright, I'm back."
"You're such a fucking-" Bakugo's eyes opened and he swiftly looked behind him to see Uraraka, Iida and as Bakugo looked over to Todoroki, Todoroki as well had their mouths dropped open when they heard him swear.
"Since when does he swear?!" Uraraka whispered.
Iida cleared his throat. "I-I don't know, though it is very unprofessional." He stated.
Todoroki stayed silent as he continued to watch Izuku.
Bakugo looked back over towards Izuku who was smirking, but it disappeared when he saw us still here. "What the hell.." Bakugo whispered to himself.
"It's not my fault that she gets easily offended-"
Izuku scoffed a smile back on his lips. "Bro it's your fault for insulting her when you knew she was around." Izuku's eyes locked with someone in the back and Bakugo had guess it was either Mina or Kirishima.
"Fuck off, she would've taken you away if I had said-"
Izuku interrupted Ryley with a snicker. "Do you miss me that much, doll?" He asked, changing the pair of eyes towards Uraraka. Our windows were all open.
"Did Deku just flirt?"
"Shh, you can't call him Deku anymore!"
"Oh shit right!"
"Language!"
Bakugo ignored the others. He gritted his teeth when he felt himself tighten when he heard Izuku say that, flirting. Damnit!
"You really have to ask that boo?" Came Ryley's reply.
Bakugo bit his lip and looked away. Were they dating? No..maybe. How was he able to flirt with everyone he was interacting with? He even flirted with Present Mic! Turning his head the other way, Bakugo watched Izuku as he turned to the side to stop and look at a street sign.
He saw Izuku's sly smile come back on his lips as he rolled his eyes. "With the way I treat you? You always come back for this dick."
Uraraka sputtered, bright pink while Mina let out a small shriek. Kirishima smirked, laughing a bit while Iida stuttered. Todoroki stayed silent, but Bakugo's eyes were narrowed in confusion.
Maybe they were dating but it was hard to tell.
Izuku clicked his tongue. "Damn bro, you gotta expose me like that?" Ryley laughed.
Or was this just a game of tease?
"Speaking of exposing-"
"What?" Ryley's sounded as if he was mad.
"I'm standing outside my friend's car full of people with you on speaker." Izuku turned his gaze towards Todoroki who turned red again and looked away. Izuku only seemed like a smirk at that and continued talking. "Say hi guys!" He shouted, walking up to the car again.
"Hi!" Tenya exclaimed.
"Nice to meet you, Ejiro Kirishima!"
"Yo." Bakugo spat. His gut twisted. It sounded as if he was pissed and jealous.
"Uchaco Uraraka!"
"Shouto Todoroki."
"Who's Ryley?" Denki pipped up.
"Awww is Ryley cute?" Mina asked, poking her head out the window. Kirishima, Kaminari, Tenya and Uraraka hissed in pain probably because of her elbows and knees being jammed into their thighs, Bakugo thought.
Izuku laughed and winked, sticking out his tongue. "He only gets cute under the covers." He said, laughing more when Ryley shouted at him. "You can't do shit bro, you in Australia."
"I'm totally gonna beat your ass when we come down for the party!"
Izuku's face dropped and now he was staring at the window shield. "Shit Angela wasn't joking about that?"
"She never lies." He responded with a sigh.
"Right.." Izuku faked his enthusiasm.
Mina had gasped and crawled off the other who signed of relief and was got out of the car, squealing as she appeared by Izuku's side. "Nice to meet you, Ryley!" She cheered. "My name is Ashido Mina."
"Izuku sounds like you have hot chicks-"
Izuku quickly put him off the speaker and brought it to his ear. "After saying what the others thought were threats, he turned around. Smiling, his anger disappeared and he was now walking back towards them with him on speaker again. "Sorry about that, Ryley has problems." He smiled kindly at Mina and the others. A bit too kind.
Bakugo frowned more. There was that change again. He went from cheery to absolutely murdering aura back to cheery again. What the actual fuck.
Mina frowned. "Y-yeah sure.." Mina stood there shocked. She knew it too. They all did, Bakugo realized as he looked back at everyone. Their faces were confused, frowning and shock.
"What, now you can't say that you don't have problems?"
"I'm not saying that-"
"Then why aren't you agreeing?"
"I'm not denying it either-"
"So you admit that you have PTS-"
Click.
His aura changed again. Bakugo didn't really know how he could tell, he could just do that with people. Some think it was another quirk, but Bakugo doubted it. He frowned when Izuku. clapped his hands and smiled at them happily. He didn't look at anyone, he just smiled. "That's the last you'll be hearing about and from him." He stated, his words clenched as if he was mad. Before anyone could say anything, he walks off.
There was silence. Mina had tried to get his attention, but he ignored her and everyone else and disappeared as he walked onto a different sidewalk. Mina huffed and got back in the car.
"Are we just gonna ignore that this Ryley said he could have possibly PTSD?" Uraraka whispered.
Kaminari gulped. "I don't know if I'm the only one but when he hung up, he seemed majorly pissed-"
"He did seem mad." Mina nodded.
Todoroki frowned. "Maybe it had to do with the fact that his friend of his, had spilled out something to us without realizing it."
Iida frowned. "But why would he hide anything from us?"
"Why would he tell us anything?" Bakugo pipped up.
"Because we're his friends-" Kaminari started, but Bakugo cut him off.
"If you didn't notice it either, he had a pack of cigarettes in his back pocket and his friend also said that he broke the law every day and never really got caught if he could go here past the border." Bakugo sighed. "He also almost broke my wrist and was swearing. He told you Uraraka and the rest of us not to call him Deku and I'm pretty sure he had a nightmare or a night terror something like that last night."
There was silence. When no one responded, Bakugo sighed once more and pulled away from the curve and drove out of the parking lot.
"Dude, you were looking at his butt?"
"SHUT THE HELL UP-"
