It's boring to be watching Groudon fight over land with Kyogre, Palkia and Dialga fighting over space and time, or even those petty birds fighting over territory. There must be something more exciting than these movies playing over and over and over again *watches all this happen on a random tv as if she was actually there with popcorn in her paws*.
Mew, Arceus says to me in a tired voice, you know why I must stay here in the castle and the legends seem to be doing fine keeping the world together with your supervision. I mean it hasn't been torn to pieces yet, don't get any ideas...
Arcy, we all know your chosen one is the only reason earth is holding itself together, all I do is make sure that he is OK. Isn't there something more that I could be doing? And don't say play with Mewtwo we both know he's a grump and doesn't have much fun. not to mention he has a tendency to destroy and then I have to fix it.
Just as I was about to continue with my train of thought a psychic echo ripped through the Castle of Beginnings like a tsunami on a beach. Did you feel that arceus? Energy must have come from the Soul Dew; something must be wrong with the latis. I focused my powers into the signal from the Soul Dew and what I find brings a smile to my face. He made it I can't believe he's alive! *I float around arceus head excited till I feel a physic pull sit me down in front of him making me realize I had irritated him a little bit. *
Mew, first make sure never to call me that in front of the others, secondly it looks like you now have something to do Mew, the lati's seemed to have unlocked the knowledge of the soul dew, go help them understand it and guide them to their true status. I fear that something bad may happen in the future that will require this new latios to take over. It is a good thing you and their parents were such good friends. Now go! Their existence depends on you!
I disappeared in a flash and appeared in the garden of Altomare where I saw the three avian passed out by the glowing gem. I decided rather than tell them upright everything that I would turn this into a game for myself. I transformed myself into an Abra and then gently shook each one till they awoke. Are you three OK? I asked the trio?

The three of us woke holding our heads in pain, the Latias asked me if that was her mother that she saw along with what she meant by the castle in the sky. Before I could answer the blue blur who I can only assume is Latios started reprimanding me about touching this artifact which knocked us out not even 5 minutes prior. After I apologized the Latios flew around me taking note that like him I was shaped just as he was and proceeded to ask his own questions of my purpose for being here. I let them know that I did not know who or what I was other than that I was left in the Pikachu village many years ago and in now in search of answers like them.
At this point the abra had mentioned she sensed a psychic connection coming from the Soul Dew and was able to see the dream that we had. She thought that the latias was very pretty and must have been their mother though couldn't know for sure. Though she was young she has heard stories of a Castle in the Sky known as the Castle of beginnings also formally known as the Sky pillar by the humans. This was the home of king Arceus that legendries would go to conduct meetings and make decisions on the future of our universe. Of course, that's just a story, no normal Pokémon has seen this meeting place in hundreds of years nor have they seen Arceus.
The Latios stared at me intently almost as if trying to figure out if I was telling the truth or leading them down a path that could lead them into trouble. I swear to you I don't know who I am or why that gem even knocked us out. All I know is that this necklace around my neck is tied to this mystery and you. The Latias nodded to her brother and hugged me unexpectedly, I could tell she believed me for some reason. the Latios spoke, Latias is an empath, she can feel everything you feel and can tell when you are lying as well as when you are telling the truth, if she trusts you then I do too.
I smile knowing I now have their trust but raise an eyebrow as I look at the abra. So, I understand you picked up our physic energy but why are you here? The abra simply smiled and said she was there to help and make sure everyone is ok as it's not every day you feel that much power come from a location. The Latias nodded in affirmation and a bit of confusion. I do wonder why but decide now is not the time to ask and move on. So, uh I was hoping you could help me learn the what I am and how to do things the way you know how. Would you be willing to assist me?
The Latias upon hearing me say that got excited and started flying around me faster than I could process and made me a bit dizzy which the Latios just chuckled at. I mean that might be a good idea, I can tell you hardly know anything based on how I almost got to you at the beginning and also how dizzy you seemed to have gotten just now. I mean you should be able to spread out your mind and sense everything around you. You should also be able to talk with telepathy and use sight share. I can only assume me and her passed out because you weren't used to it... then again, it's not common to share dreams so he supposed it could have been a fluke as well.
I can help as well said the overexcited Latias! If we are going to find a floating castle then you got to learn to fly faster than you are now *giggles* it's almost like you are a newborn. I do admit a little cute as well. The latios looks to his sister with a knowing smirk. Save it for Ash you love bird. The lati's face grew as red as her feathers. I didn't mean like that latios you big bully!
The abra looked like she was fantasizing about something but when I inquired about it, she just said it was nice to see a family back together. I could tell she was hiding something from us but decided to ask if she would like to join in my training. She mentioned she was good at telepathy and teleporting but that was about it and would not mind learning some new moves but perhaps another day as it was pretty late in the day today. The lati agreed and mentioned they had a patrol to do before bed. I decided to tag along and flew out of the wall I came in. I turned into a human which the duo stopped and looked at me with a quizzical look. When I questioned what was wrong the Latias mentioned she was the only one who could create illusions of human and pokémon. Latios asked to make sure I was a guy and after sweat dropping, I assured him I was. He just shrugged and told me to just turn invisible by refracting the light off my feathers. I changed back doing as he suggested and sure enough was much easier to do. I could tell the Lati were moving than slower for my sake but I was glad they were assisting me and the wind through my feathers plus the sun just felt amazing in general.
Once we flew though most of the business and residential areas the latis flew straight into a canal. I stopped worried but was pushed in by none other than the latias where I learned it actually wasn't that bad and the view underwater was more beautiful than I could imagine seeing all the Goldeen, Dewgong, and of course my favorite Magikarp... speaking of which I will have to try being one of these days *chuckles*. After moving through the underwater catacombs, we came back out at the garden. Upon exciting the water however, I accidentally bumped into latias who had stopped in shock. Apparently the abra while we were gone prepared all kinds of foods from spaghetti to pizza and just in case none of us liked human food, she brought many different berries freshly picked.
I hope you don't mind, said the abra in a happy tone, but you guys worked so hard today training and protecting the city and I was not much use so I decided to get nourishment ready for us. My stomach growled and I blushed to which all parties involved laughed then thanked our new friend for her help. We all dug in till we were full and then got ready for bed. I was going to leave and let the duo sleep in peace however Latias would not hear of it and insisted the three of us sleep together while abra slept in a little hole in the tree which she said suited her nicely. Right before we flew to bed the duo flew over to the soul dew which I finally learned was the name and said good night to their mom and dad. As I was watching this my head pounded and eventually, I screamed while my necklace glowed. The lati asked what was wrong when my eyes glowed as did the Soul Dew. This time both lati were prepared and put-up mental barriers. This time they could not see what I saw but they stayed close until the headache stopped. I told them that I saw a Latios and Latias just like in the vision I shared with them only this time they faded into dust. I can only assume this must be memories of when I was a baby and left.
Some distance away the Abra's eyes were glowing, apparently she had seen my vision and sighed regretting the decision made by her peers on that day. Oh Arcy, how could I have let that happen? She watched on as the Latis assisted me to the tree where I passed out. Latias sang a beautiful song that helped me relax, I can picture latios smiling in approval as her song fills the garden. The song she sings is the song of Oración. You could tell every note was meant and not a sign of malice has touched her in her years of growing up. I will not fail them again Arceus, I will take care of them and no one will hurt them ever again. This I swear. Arceus hears his first creation and sighs knowing that this promise may not be kept and will only cause pain to everyone in that garden.
